냉각 속도에 따른 Bi-2212 초전도 튜브의 균일성 (Uniformity of Bi2212 Tubes Depending on Cooling Conditions)

  • This study was progressed to value of Bi2212 tubes uniformity depend on cooling conditions. The tube from 150 mm in length, 30 mm in O.D., 20 mm in I.D., 5 mm in thickness was combined with electrodes by 3 sections. The tube from 60, 70 mm in length, 30, 50 mm in O.D., 20.4, 40.4 mm in I.D., 4.8 mm in thickness was in controled of cooling rate by a heat exchanger. Bi2212 tubes were fabricated by Centrifugal Forming Process (CFP) and they were annealed at $840^{\circ}C$ for 80 h in oxygen atmosphere. The tube from 150 mm in length was analyzed by EFDLab of NIKA to show cooling rate and temperature distributions. When the tube was cooled for 100s, the temperature distributions was $663^{\circ}C$ in the middle, $500{\sim}647^{\circ}C$ in inlet, $598{\sim}647^{\circ}C$ in the other side. Electric characteristics from $I_c$ was 450 A in the middle, 650 A in inlet, 600 A in the other side. Electric characteristics by a heat exchanger showed the more fast cooling rate, the more high $I_c$.

  • In this paper range measurement systems using ultrasonic and visual sensors are designed. By varying the focus of a camera, the range to a target pattern is computed. Pour different methods are tested for the focusing-based range measurement. The best result is obtained when counting edge pixels found by Laplacian operator. Higher accuracy can be obtained by fusing the measurement of camera focusing with that of ultrasonic sensor. The system designed is experimented within the range of 300-450mm.

수평 다채널 관에서의 유동 비등 열전달 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on Characteristics of Flow Boiling Heat Transfer in Multi channels)

  • Two-phase flow boiling heat transfer in micro-channels was experimently investigated. The test section consisted of 15 rectangular micro-channels with a depth of 0.45mm, width of 0.20mm. The experiments were performed for heat fluxes ranging from 5.6 to 46.1kW/m2 and mass fluxes from 150 to 450kg/m2s using FC-72 as the working fluid. According to the results, at the low heat flux region, heat transfer coefficient strongly depends on the heat flux, while heat transfer coefficient at the high heat flux region was independent on the heat flux. Four correlations were used to predict the heat transfer coefficient. The measured heat transfer coefficient was compared with four correlations. It was found that Kaew-On and Wongwises's correlation well predicted the measured data, within the MAE of 40.3%.

  • In the extrusion process, the working material is forced to flow through a die with the desired profile. In general, the width of an extruded section is limited to about an inch less than the diameter of the round billet. But through the lip die, material is spreaded to produce a wider extruded section than the diameter of round billet. In this study, the extrusion process of an aluminum plate using the lip die is investigated. The width of the extruded plate is 450mm that is formed from the round billet with a diameter of 250mm. The flow characteristic through the lip die is considered to produce the wide-extruded plate with a small billet using rigid plastic FE analysis. Based on the result of FE analysis, new designs of lip die are proposed.

  • NbTi/Cu superconducting wires were jointed inserting the NbTi filaments into Cu/NbTi sleeve and pressing it. When the NbTi filaments were inserted into Cu/NbTi sleeve, additional NbTi filaments were inserted together to increase the numbers of filaments in the hole of sleeve. Critical current of the joint of 28 filaments wires with 1.7 mm thickness of dimple was 450 A at 4.2K, 0.5T. Ic of the joint of 54 filaments wires with 2.0 mm thickness of dimple was 600 A at 4.2K, 2T. It is possible to manufacture MRI magnet by using these results.

  • 목재에 코팅재로 사용되는 에폭시 수지로부터의 총괄이행량에 대한 모델을 정립하고, 이를 이용하여 안전성확보에 필요한 두께의 정도를 계산하였다. 에폭시 수지를 통한 총괄이행은 위생적 관심영역에서 확산모델에 의하여 해석이 가능하였고, 투과성 겉보기 투과성 지표에 미치는 온도의 영향은 Arrhenius 방정식으로 설명이 가능하였다. 그리고 일반적인 식품공전의 6$0^{\circ}C$, 30분의 용출조건에서 위생적 한도를 만족시키기 위한 최소의 코팅두께는 0.004 mm였다.

  • 막분리에 의한 폐윤활유 재생공정을 개발하기 위한 기초 연구로써 폐윤활유 분리/재생용으로 적합한 복층(multilayer)세라믹 복합막의 제조와 합성막의 폐유 분리 효율등이 연구되었다. 결함이 없고 두께가 균일한 지르코니아 복합막 (기공크기 0.07 $\mu$m 이하)은 압출 성형법으로 제조한 튜브형 $\alpha$-알루미나 담체 (외경 7.8 mm, 두께 0.6 mm, 기공크기 0.7 $\mu$m)내부표면에 역침지 인상법(reverse dip-drawing technique)에 의하여 지르코니아 슬러리를 코팅 한 후 950$\circ$C에서 1시간 열처리하여 제조 되었다. 또한 지르코니아 복합막 위에 니타니아 졸-겔 코팅을 한 후 450$\circ$C에서 2시간 열처리하여 기공크기가 15 nm정도인 3층 복합막을 제조 하였다. SEM, Bubble Point Test, Mercury Porosimeter 그리고 분획 분자량 측정등에 의하여 복합막의 코팅층 두께, 결함유무 및 막의 기공크기등을 분석하였다.

  • Cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) has been used as a light source for direct type backlights for LCD monitors or TV. One inverter for one CCFL was necessary for maintaining the lamp current so that many inverters were used to drive as many CCFLs of direct type backlight for LCD TV. An inverter for driving 16 CCFLs was developed to reduce the backlight cost. The length and diameter of CCFL were 450mm and 4mm, respectively. Backlight including 16 CCFLs for 26" LCD TV was assembled by using one inverter. The uniformities of the assembled backlight operated by the conventional inverter and the newly developed inverter were 75% and 88%, respectively.

  • This paper describes a design for a 2.5Gb/s serial data link CMOS transceiver based on the InfiniBand$^{TM}$ specification. The transceiver chip integrates data serializer, line driver, Tx PLL, deserializer, clock recovery, and lock detector. The designed transceiver is fabricated in a 0.25 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS mixed-signal, 1-poly, 5-metal process. The first version chip occupies a 3.0mm x 3.3mm area and consumes 450mW with 2.5V supply. In 2.5 Gbps, the output jitter of transmitter measured at the point over a 1.2m, 50Ω coaxial cable is 8.811ps(rms), 68ps(p-p). In the receiver, VCO jitter is 18.5ps(rms), 130ps(p-p), the recovered data are found equivalent to the transmitted data as expected. In the design for second version chip, the proposed clock and data recovery circuit using linear phase detector can reduce jitter in the VCO of PLL.L.
