  • 크레인 훈련 프로그램은 실제 항만과 동일한 환경의 훈련 시스템을 구축하고 이를 활용하는 것이 가장 바람직하지만 시공간의 제약과 비용 등의 문제를 가지고 있다. 이런 제약점을 극복하고자 AR/VR을 기반으로 한 차세대 훈련 프로그램이 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 가상현실을 기반으로 하는 항만 크레인 훈련 시스템의 프로토타입을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 구현한 시스템은 아두이노를 기반으로 한 IoT 조작 단말기와 유니티 응용프로그램을 탑재한 HMD 2가지 요소로 구성된다. IoT 조작 단말기는 2개의 컨트롤러와 2개의 토클 스위치 및 8개의버튼 스위치로 이루어져 사용자의 조작에 따라 발생하는 데이터를 처리한다. HMD는 Oculus Quest2를 사용하며IoT 단말기와 무선통신으로 연결되어 사용자의 편의성을 제공한다. 본 논문에서 구현한 훈련 시스템은 가상현실을 통해 훈련자에게 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않는 훈련 환경을 제공하고 시간과 비용을 절감할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Until now, considerable progress has been made in the application of range finding techanique performing direct 3-D measurement from the object. However, ther are few use of the method in the area of the application of material handing. We present a range finding vision system consisting of static and dynamic range finders to automate a reclaimer used for material handling. A static range finder detects range data of the front part of the piles of material, and a height map is obtained from the proposed image processing algorithm. The height map is used to calculate the optimal job path as features for required information for material handling function. A dynamic range finder attached on the side of the arm of the reclaimer detects the change of the local properties of the material with the handling function, which is used for avoiding collision and detecting the ending point for changing direction. the developed vision systm was applied to a 1/20 simulator and the results of test show that it is appropriate to use for automating the material handling.

A study on the in-vitro wear of the natural tooth structure by opposing zirconia or dental porcelain

  • PURPOSE. This study was conducted to evaluate clinical validity of a zirconia full-coverage crown by comparing zirconia's wear capacity over antagonistic teeth with that of feldspathic dental porcelain. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The subject groups were divided into three groups: the polished feldspathic dental porcelain group (Group 1), the polished zirconia group (Group 2), and the polished zirconia with glazing group (Group 3). Twenty specimens were prepared from each group. Each procedure such as plasticity, condensation, and glazing was conducted according to the manufacturer's manual. A wear test was conducted with 240,000 chewing cycles using a dual-axis chewing simulator. The degree of wear of the antagonistic teeth was calculated by measuring the volume loss using a three-dimensional profiling system and ANSUR 3D software. The statistical significance of the measured degree of wear was tested with a significant level of 5% using one-way ANOVA and the Tukey test. RESULTS. The degrees of wear of the antagonistic teeth were $0.119{\pm}0.059\;mm^3$ in Group 1, $0.078{\pm}0.063\;mm^3$ in Group 3, and $0.031{\pm}0.033\;mm^3$ in Group 2. Statistical significance was found between Group 1 and Groups 2 and between Group 2 and 3, whereas no statistical significance was found between Group 1 and Group 3. CONCLUSION. Despite the limitations of this study on the evaluation of antagonistic teeth wear, the degree of antagonistic tooth wear was less in zirconia than feldspathic dental porcelain, representing that the zirconia may be more beneficial in terms of antagonistic tooth wear.

CFD기반 화재 대피 시뮬레이션 모델을 적용한 위험도 평가 분석 -인천터미널역 역사를 대상으로 (Risk Evaluation and Analysis on Simulation Model of Fire Evacuation based on CFD - Focusing on Incheon Bus Terminal Station)

  • 최근 실내 공간에서의 재난, 화재와 테러 등 대피상황을 재현하여 이를 가시화하기 위한 연구가 주목 받고 있으며, 실내 공간에 대한 모델을 설계하고 인명 안전 평가를 통한 신뢰성 있는 분석이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실제적인 건물 화재 위험 요인을 고려하여 피난 안전성 분석과 피난 경로 안내가 가능한 시뮬레이션 모델을 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 인천터미널역 역사를 대상으로 3차원 화재 및 피난 모델을 설계하고, 실내 내장재의 재질을 바탕으로 열 매개변수와 화재 인지 장치를 이용하여 화재 위험 분석을 수행하였다. 둘째, 인명안전을 위한 평가에 있어 화재 시뮬레이션인 FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator)와 피난 시뮬레이션을 통해 재실자가 인체에 손상 없이 견딜 수 있는 피난허용시간(ASET: Available Safe Egress Time)을 산출하였다. 또한 화재를 감지하고 안전한 장소까지 완전하게 피난하는데 소요되는 피난요구시간(RSET: Required Safe Egress Time)을 계산하고 이를 비교 분석하였다. 결과적으로 연구대상의 3차원 공간적인 정보를 기반으로 한 실내 공간 모델과, 고시된 안전기준을 반영한 열차 내 화재 및 피난 위험도 측정 시뮬레이션 분석을 통해 보다 실제적인 안전성 평가를 수행 할 수 있었다.

MRM 도입필요성 및 육군 W/G 적용 타당성 분석 (Need for introduction of MRM and analyzing the validity of applying MRM into Korean army war game simulations)

  • Korea DM&S(Defence Modeling & Simulation) development plan includes construction of a distributed simulation model which enables us to construct, operate, integrate and connect war game simulations. US DoD and IEEE set the HLA/RTI as the standard of distributed simulation model. HLA/RTI models each simulator as a Federate and group of them as a Federation. Simulation with the model shows interoperability and finally executes a war game simulation. Because of different resolutions and features, it is not satisfied 'interoperability' and 'reusability' of simulation perfectly MRM (Multi Resolution Modeling) has been introduced, and many developed countries including the United States have studied the technology to simulate the model with different resolutions. This thesis proposes the need for introduction of MRM and analyzes both technical and operational validity when we apply MRM model to army war game simulations. For these purposes, we 1) find MRM main issues with the study about MRM basic concepts and case studies of MRM's applications, 2) present the need of MRM and its relation with DM&S development plan, and 3) analyze its technical and operational validity when we apply MRM to an example, CHANG-JO21 and JEON-TOO21.

Design and Implementation of Internal Multiband Loop Embedded Monopole Antenna for Mobile Handset

  • In this paper, we proposed an internal multiband loop embedded monopole antenna for mobile handset that could be used for smart phones. The proposed antenna has a volume of 40 mm(W) ${\times}$ 15 mm(L) ${\times}$ 5 mm(H), ground plane size is 40 mm(W) ${\times}$ 80 mm(L), and covers the GSM900 (Global System for Mobile communications : 880-960 MHz), K-PCS (Korea-Personal Communications Service : 1750-1870 MHz), US-PCS (US Personal Communications Service : 1850-1990 MHz), WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access : 1920-2170 MHz), Wibro (2300-2390 MHz), Bluetooth (2400-2483 MHz) and WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network : 2400-2483.5 MHz) bands for VSWR (voltage standing wave ration) less than 3. The proposed loop adding design at middle section of longest branch showed wide impedance bandwidth for the lowest resonance frequency band. The proposed antenna have a lowest resonance frequency band from 738 MHz to 1075 MHz for S11 value of -6dB. A HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator) of the Ansys Corporation based on a finite element method is employed to analyze the proposed antenna in the design process and to compare the simulation and experimental results.

트랩 주입의 구조적 설계에 따른 LIGBT의 전기적 특성 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of the LIGBT Structure with Trap Injection for Improved Electrical Characteristics)

  • In this paper, the new IGBT structures with trap injection are proposed to improve switching characteristics of the conventional SOI LIGBT. The simulations are used in order to investigate the effects of the position, width and concentration of trap injection region using 2D device simulator MEDICI. And, their electrical characteristics are analyze and the optimum design parameters are extracted. As a result of simulation, the turn off time for the proposed LIGBT model A by the trap injection is $0.78{\mu}s$. And, the latch up voltage is 3.4V and forward blocking voltage is 168V which are superior to that of conventional structure. In addition, the proposed model is achieved more efficient in switching time and process effort. Therefore, It is shown that the trap injection is very effective to reduce the turn off time with a little increasing of on-state voltage drop if its design and process parameters are optimized.

Quantitative Analysis on Voltage Schemes for Reliable Operations of a Floating Gate Type Double Gate Nonvolatile Memory Cell

  • Recently, a novel multi-bit nonvolatile memory based on double gate (DG) MOSFET is proposed to overcome the short channel effects and to increase the memory density. We need more complex voltage schemes for DG MOSFET devices. In view of peripheral circuits driving memory cells, one should consider various voltage sources used for several operations. It is one of the key issues to minimize the number of voltage sources. This criterion needs more caution in considering a DG nonvolatile memory cell that inevitably requires more number of events for voltage sources. Therefore figuring out the permissible range of operating bias should be preceded for reliable operation. We found that reliable operation largely depends on the depletion conditions of the silicon channel according to charge amount stored in the floating gates and the negative control gate voltages applied for read operation. We used Silvaco Atlas, a 2D numerical simulation tool as the device simulator.

  • In this study, safety education contents for medical radiation workers were produced based on Mixed Reality(MR). Currently, safety training for radiation workers is based on theory. This is insufficient in terms of worker satisfaction and efficiency. To address this, we created ICT(Information and Communication Technologies)-based MR radiation worker safety education content. The expected effect of Mixed Reality worker safety education content is that education is possible without space and time constraints, realistic education is possible without on-site training, and interaction between images is possible through reality-based 3D images, enabling self-directed learning Is that. In addition, learning in a virtual space expressed through HMD(Head Mounted Display) is expected to make education more enjoyable and increase concentration, thereby increasing the efficiency of education. A quantitative evaluation was conducted by an accredited institution and a qualitative evaluation was performed on users, which received excellent evaluation. The MR safety education conducted in this study is expected to be of great help to the education of medical radiation workers, and is expected to develop into a new educational paradigm as online education in accordance with Corona 19 progresses.

보행자 서비스 수준을 고려한 교통섬 설계기준 연구 (Design Criteria of Traffic Island Considering Pedestrian LOS)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 보행자 서비스 수준을 고려한 보행 교통섬의 설계기준을 개발하는데 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 시뮬레이션 분석을 통해 일정 보행자 서비스 수준 C와 D를 유지할 수 있는 교통섬의 최소 설계 면적과 교차로 기하구조(편도 2차로)를 반영한 임계 보행 교통량을 제시하는데 중점을 두고 있다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보행 서비스 수준 C와 D를 만족하고, 신호주기별 보행 교통량에 따른 총 160개 교통섬의 면적이 VISSIM을 통해 도출된다. 보행 서비스 수준 및 보행 교통량에 따른 교통섬의 면적은 최소 $3.0m^2$에서 최대 $41.0m^2$인 것으로 분석된다. 둘째, 교통섬 운영의 임계 보행 교통량은 편도 2차로와 120-150초 신호주기를 기준으로 서비스수준 C에서 1,000-1,300인/시, 그리고 D에서 1,600-1,800인/시인 것으로 평가된다.
