  • For a quick and accurate 3D modelling of a building, laser scanning data, digital maps, aerial photographs and satellite images should be fusioned. Moreover, library establishment according to a standard structure of a building and effective texturing method are required in order to determine the structure of a building. In this study, we made a standard library by categorizing Korean village forms and presented a model that can predict a structure of a building from a shape of the roof on an aerial photo image. We made an ortho image using the high-definition digital image and considerable amount of ground scanning point cloud and mapped this image. These methods enabled a more quick and accurate building modelling.

  • Based on dynamic muscle model to construct efficient face animation in this paper 30 face modelling techniques propose. Composed face muscle by faceline that connect 256 point and this point based on dynamic muscle model, and constructed wireframe because using this. After compose standard model who use wireframe, because using front side and side 2D picture, enforce texture mapping and created 3D individual face model. Used front side of characteristic points and side part for correct mapping, after make face that have texture coordinates using 2D coordinate of front side image and front side characteristic points, constructed face that have texture coordinates using 2D coordinate of side image and side characteristic points.

  • A Numerical Analysis of NOx production in Hydrogen-Air flame is performed using the quasi-laminar reaction modelling. As results, in low global strain rate region, $U_F/D_F\;{\leq}\;50,000$, the quasi-laminar reaction modelling reproduces the experimentally observed EINOx half power scaling that the ratio of EINOx and flame residence time, $L_f^3(D_F^2U_F)$, is proportional to the square root of global strain rate. Thus, it suggests that turbulence-chemistry interaction has a minor impact on the trend of NOx production in low global strain rate region. However, the quasi-laminar reaction modelling predicts the higher temperature and NOx than experimentally observed. This overprediction may be due to the lack of radiation and quasi-laminar reaction modelling.

  • To expand the use of three dimensional(3D) product modelling in the army, we have analyzed military technical data management system, as well as the military guidelines for the unique format and content of technical data package. Because traditional munition sector is based on the machinery and equipment industry, they have usually applied two dimensional(2D) drawings to prepare a design and to make a product. For that reason, there is no provision for 3D product modelling as a technical data package in the military guideline. In this study, we proposed an improvement scheme for the vitalization of 3D product modelling in the army not only in terms of related guideline but also military technical data management system.

  • This paper describes the use of coupled Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Rigid Body Dynamics (RBD) in modelling the aerodynamic behaviour of wind-borne plate type objects. Unsteady 2D and 3D Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) CFD models are used to simulate the unsteady and non-uniform flow field surrounding static, forced rotating, auto-rotating and free-flying plates. The auto-rotation phenomenon itself is strongly influenced by vortex shedding, and the realisable k-epsilon turbulence modelling approach is used, with a second order implicit time advancement scheme and equal or higher order advection schemes for the flow variables. Sequentially coupling the CFD code with a RBD solver allows a more detailed modelling of the Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) behaviour of the plate and how this influences plate motion. The results are compared against wind tunnel experiments on auto-rotating plates and an existing 3D analytical model.

  • 5-Hydroxytryptamine receptor 7 ($5-HT_7R$) is one of G-Protein coupled receptors, which is found to be involved in the pathophysiology of various neurological disorders including depression, sleep disorders, memory deficiency and neuropathic pain. After activation of $5-HT_7R$ by serotonin, it activates the production of the intracellular signaling molecule cyclic AMP. The availability of 3D structure of the receptor would enhance the development of new drugs. Hence, in the present study, homology modelling of human 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 7 ($5-HT_7R$) was performed using comparative modelling (Easy Modeller) and threading (I-TASSER) approaches. The generated models were validated using Ramachandran plot and ERRAT plot and the best models were selected based on the validation results. The 3D model developed here could be useful for identifying crucial residues and further docking study.

  • High strength preloadable bolt assemblies are commonly adopted in beam-to-column bolted connections. Nowadays, two systems of high strength preloadable grade 10.9 bolt assembly are recommended in Europe for structural applications, namely HR and HV, which are characterized by different failure modes. Recently, experimental tests performed on HR and HV bolt assemblies highlighted that the type of bolt assembly may significantly influence the joint response. Therefore, the accuracy of numerical modelling of bolt assemblies is crucial to simulate effectively the non-linear behaviour of bolted joints with either failure mode 2 or mode 3 of the bolt rows. In light of these considerations, this present paper describes and discusses some modelling criteria for both HR and HV bolts to be implemented in 3D finite element models by finite element analysis and structural designers. The comparison between the calibrated models and experimental results shows the accuracy of the proposed assumptions in simulating all stages of assembly tensile response.

  • Recently, as the demand for development and utilization of underground space is increasing worldwide, the blast damaged zone has become a major issue in constructing underground structures. In this study, numerical analyses were performed for modelling a small-scale blasting of rock plates using PFC3D and ANSYS LS-DYNA. In order to verify the analysis results, several test blasts were conducted. It is concluded from the study that the numerical modelling methods well simulate the crack propagation procedure near blast holes under given conditions.

  • This development has tried to scheme out the convenience for users to use the 3D modeling solution which is developed from the existing programs. The extended 3D modeling solution, to be developed through the use of the API which is provided and Microsoft Access, database is able to reuse the parts, subassemblies of parts, and assemblies. A methodology exhibits the possibility to use a Spinfire Professional Spinfire Reader program. The web evaluation system, which is used to connected with the Internet explorer and to construct a web service, will repeat the evaluations of the company staffs and customers about the new products which the company have designed. The furniture manufacturing company will adopt the 3D modelling solution in modelling the new products and go through the web evaluation system to collect dissatisfied facts of the customers or the company staffs against the new product. Finally, it will contribute to the enormous benefit creation of the enterprise.
