복합 시설물의 nD 모델 호환을 위한 IFC 모델 확장개발 및 도면 생성 표현 체계에 관한 기초연구 (Development of IFC Model Extension and Drawing Representation Expression System for nD Model-Based Transposition of Complex Engineering Products and Services)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop mechanisms of nD model-based design by the combination of 2D drawing standards and 3D building models from the current 2D and text-based design. The aim of this study can be archived by defining the 2D model extension definitions for the IFC model development and harmonizing existing 2D standards. The paper examines 1) 3D Representation of Building Element and Building Services element, and 2D Model extension of IFC2X.2, 2) Basic development of additional 2D element that should be added to IFC model, and 3) mapping method between current 2D standard and IFC2.X2. Following this approach, the interoperability problem between 3D model and 2D drawing can be solved and finally an extended data model could be developed.

  • Accurate acquisition of surface geometries such as machined surfaces, biological surfaces, and deformed parts and processing 3D object have been very important technique in scientific study and engineering, expecially for system design, manufacturing and inspection. Defective human teeth are usually ground to be coped with special alloy coping which is hand-made by dental technician. This make dental technician to be difficult and take a long time Dental CAD/CAM Systems consist of two parts, data acquisition and milling. In this paper, a method is studied to mill object which is acquired 3D geometric data of the small object such as a die in stone model. This paper present a control program and a mechanical system for milling 3D object.

아파트 정보화를 위한 시스템 개발 -개발 시스템의 적용- (The Development of Apartment Informationalization System)

  • This study was conducted to develop the Apartment Information System. This integrated information system is designed to provide a large number of users with the convenient, economical, and safe life in the apartment complex. The characteristics of this system are as follows; 1) The system was developed by CAD technology using 2D and 3D methods with Web base. 2) This system has 2-Tire structures which are able to embody the geographic information on the Web base without special Spatial Engine. 3) Since the spatial data applied to this system is a vector file format, the speed of electrical transmission is fast and it makes possible to search spatially for the client method. The results of this study may contribute to make use of the information system for apartment complex as follows; 1) This system can be used together by the communities of apartment residence, maintenance company and construction company. 2) Also this system can help residence to communicate sharing information and can support the apartment management with open information and clarity. Expecially, the practical data gathering was made for this study only.

  • 조직공학 분야에서의 3 차원 구조체는 세포의 성장과 분화를 유도하기 위한 미세 환경을 제공하고, 재생하고자 하는 조직의 형태를 유지할 수 있도록 지탱해 주는 역할을 수행한다. 현재까지 다양한 생체재료 및 이의 가공 기법들이 이러한 3 차원 구조체를 제작하는데 적용되고 있다. 특히, 3 차원 프린팅 기술은 다양한 재료를 이용하여 원하는 외부 형상과 내부 구조를 제작할 수 있기 때문에 오늘날 조직공학 분야에 많이 이용되고 있고, 이 기술을 통해 새로운 조직공학적 접근 방법도 시도되고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 현재 조직공학 분야에 적용되고 있는 3 차원 프린팅 기술과, 이를 통해 제작된 기능성 인공지지체 및 세포 프린팅 구조체, 그리고 이의 다양한 조직공학적 적용에 대해서 서술하고자 한다.

  • Computerized 3D virtual dental models are currently available, and their use has started to improve treatment outcomes. The accuracy of digital models has been demonstrated by many studies and various intra-oral scanners are innovated for short scanning time and high precision. Recently, a digital model was combined with a high technology computer-driven system, which was developed for the application of a digital set-up and indirect bonding of lingual attachments. In this section, virtual treatment planning using a virtual set-up program is be introduced, and the clinical applications and accuracy of computer-generated indirect bonding are discussed.

  • The boundary evaluation technique for Boolean operation on non-manifold models which is regarded as the most popular and powerful method to create and modify 3-D CAD models has been developed. This technique adopted the concept of Merge and Selection in which the CSG tree for Boolean operation can be edited quickly and easily. In this method, the merged set which contains complete information about primitive models involved is created by merging primitives one by one, then the alive entities are selected following the given CSG tree. This technique can support the hybrid representation of B-rep(Boundary Representation) and CSG(Constructive Solid Geometry) tree in a unified non-manifold model data structure, and expected to be used as a basic method for many modeling problems such as data representation of form features, and the interference between them, and data representation of conceptual models in design process, etc.

  • 1. 16bit 개인용 컴퓨터인 IBM-PC/AT수준에서 레이저 가공을 위한 임의의 도형을 입력하여 DXF File로 출력하고, External명령인 AutoCAM을 추가하여 AutoCAM의 실행이 가능하였으며 AutoCAM의 종료후에는 다시 AutoCAD로 작업이 가능하다. 2. 개발한 AutoCAM은 AutoCAD Ver 2.6i로부터 Release 10까지의 DXF File을 읽어 Graphic 출력이 가능하다. 3. 가공 경로를 NC프로그램이 임의로 선정가능하면서, 가장 능률적인 가공작업이 수행될 수 있 도록 연속 또는 최인접 도형요소를 자동 선정하고 이의 조건에 따른 Auto Mode의 NC프로그램 생성이 가능하다. 4. 생성된 NC프로그램을 레이저 가공기에 전송하여 가공실험을 실시한 결과, 생성된 NC 프로 그램은 거의 수정하지 않아도 작동이 가능한 정도의 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었으므로 실용화에 큰 문제가 없는 것으로 사료된다. 이상과 같이 레이저 가공을 위한 CAD/CAM시스템은 초심자등의 이용상의 편리를 위하여 대화식으로 하였으며 사용된 언어도 Quick BASIC으로 자체 개발하 였으므로 앞으로 이 분야의 연구 및 실용화를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

An innovative CAD-based simulation of ball-end milling in microscale

  • As small size and complex metal machining components demand increases, cutting processes in microscale become necessary. Ball-end milling is a commonly used finishing process, which nowadays can be applied in the microscale size. Surface quality and dimensional accuracy are two basic parameters that affect small size components in their assembly and functionality. Thus, good quality can be achieved by optimizing the cutting conditions of the procedure. This study presents a 3D simulation model of ball-end milling in microscale developed in a commercial CAD software and its optical and computing results. These carried out results are resumed to surface topomorphy, surface roughness, chip geometry and cutting forces calculations that arising during the cutting process. A great number of simulations were performed in a milling machine centre, applying the discretized kinematics of the procedure and the final results were compared with measurements of Al7075-T651 experiments.

  • 현재 국내에서는 많은 경제성장과 생활여건의 개선에 따라 기존주택의 재건축과 재개발이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 국내에서 발생하는 폐기물중 건설폐기물이 차지하는 비중은 점점 더 커져가고 있다. 따라서 정부나 민간에서는 건설폐기물의 발생량을 줄이기 위해 많은 노력을 하고 있다. 그러나 건설폐기물의 발생량을 정확히 예측하고 관리하기 위한 시스템의 개발에 대한 노력은 거의 없는 실정이다. 폐기물의 발생량을 예측하기 위한 기준의 미비로 인해 많은 사회적비용이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 공동주택을 대상으로 건설폐기물의 발생량을 쉽게 예측할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 그 방법으로는 원단위 할용, CAD도면의 활용, 3D object의 활용과 같이 현장여건에 따라 적절한 방법을 선택하여 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. 이 모듈은 사용자의 사용 목적에 따라 개별 모듈별로 사용하는 것이 가능하도록 구성하였다.

Unigraphics API를 이용한 사출금형의 3차원 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the 3D Injection Mold Design Using Unigraphics API)

  • The design methodology of injection molding die has been changed from two-dimensional drafting to three-dimensional solid modeling, which is due to many advantages over the conventional methodology in terms of design modification and data associativity. In addition to the solid modeling capability, it is required for a mold designer to utilize a database management system that facilitates efficient mold design. In the paper presented is the implementation of a software program which automatically generates three-dimensional mold-bases including standard parts and slider parts, conforming to given geometric constraints. It is based on a commercial CAD system (Unigraphics NX) along with related API (application program interface) libraries. The research is expected to reduce design efforts and simplify construction of a complex three-dimensional mold-base model that is comprised of standard parts and slider parts, by use of the three-dimensional database and automatized geometric dimensioning.
