It has been approximately 40 years since $Br{{\aa}}nemark$ first introduced osseo-integration for implants in the early 1960s. Unlike crown and bridge or denture treatment, implant treatment helps preserve existing bone and improve masticatory functions. Thus, the awareness of implant treatment has grown rapidly among dentists and patients alike in Korea, as it becomes a widely accepted treatment. The following results on patients type and implant distribution were compiled from 1814 implant cases of 640 patients treated at the periodontal dept. of Y University Hospital during 1992 to 2001. 1. There are no dissimilarities between men and women, with patients in their 40,50s accounting for 49% of patients and 56% of implant treatments; the largest share of patients and implant treatments. 2. Mn. posterior area accounted for 59% of implant treatments followed by Mx. posterior area(21%), Mx anterior area(l4%) and Mn anterior area 2%. 3. Partial edentulous patients treated by single crown and bridge-type prosthesis accounted for 98% and fully edentulous patient accounted for the remaining 2% 4. The major cause of tooth loss is periodontal disease, followed by dental caries, trauma and congenital missing. Compared to women, men are more likely to suffer from tooth loss due to periodontal disease. Also, older people are more likely to suffer from tooth loss due to periodontal disease rather than dental caries. 5. The distribution of bone quality for maxillae was 52% for type III, followed by 23% for type II, 20% for type IV and 0% for type I. As for mandible, the distribution was 52% for type II, followed by 37% for type III, 7% for type IV and 4% for type I. 6. The distribution of bone quantity for maxillae was 49% for type C, followed by 34% for type B, 14% for type D, 3% for type A, and 0% for type E. As for mandible, the distribution was 52% for type B, followed by 35% for type C, 6% for type D, 3% for type A and 0% for type E. 7. The majority of implants were those of 10-14mm in length (80%) and regular diameter in width (79%). The results provided us with basic data on patient type, implant distribution, bone condition, etc. We wish that our results coupled with other research data helps assist in the further study for better implant success/survival rates, etc.

Digital designs that appear in the three-dimensional virtual space by the digital type are designed as there is not an image created with an organic artificially generated (Creation) and representation (Modifying), developed by the specific environment given. The advanced digital design will produce a result with an algorithm according to a mathematical operation and the environment and has the nature of generating the real world, changes, development and affinity (Genetic Process). The digital design process is largely defined by a set of processes that are consistently designed to integrate form of creation, reproduction, proceeds in three steps, while the manufacture and assembly as a form of maintenance as possible the intended form of control data from the concept of building. By Joris Laarman 3D printer design is a simulation created by the digital process by the various algorithms and design achieved through the development of 3D printers, such as new materials and MX3D. From the mold production of a complex whole by using a robot and other digital production tool extracts a variety of forms.
In this study, the effect of additions on magnetic properties in the system of [$Ni_{0.32}Zn_{0.68}$] 1-x Mx $Fe_2O_4$ have been investigated. The additions, Co or Mg or Cu, was added in turn in place of M, and its composition was varied from 0.1 mo1% to 0.5 mo1%. The materials were blended by hot petroleum drying method, and sintered with the rate of 30$0^{\circ}C$/h in the air. The sintering temperatures were varied from 110$0^{\circ}C$ to 130$0^{\circ}C$, with the intervals of 5$0^{\circ}C$, and matured for 3hrs. The results are: 1) The permeability decreased when the addition, MgO or CoO, was added, and it increased when CuO was added. 2) Resistivity had the lowest Value when CuO was added.

Transposition is defined as a dental anomaly manifested by a positional interchange of 2 adjacent teeth within the same quadrant of the dental arch. Maxillary canine-first premolar [Mx4-3] transposition is the most frequent tooth transposition reported in the literature. In this case report, an orthodontic correction of a transposition of the maxillary left canine and first premolar with the help of palatally located mini-implant anchorage is described. Esthetic and occlusal evaluations suggested alignment of the transposed teeth to their correct anatomic positions in the dental arch. The clinical result at the end of the treatment was satisfactory. Alignment was obtained, and intercuspation was adequate. Nevertheless, the maxillary canine showed facial recession, probably because it was initially positioned buccally. Supporting tissue was examined after treatment and no alveolar bone damage was observed.
A new quantitiative analytical method of prussic acid by "Microdiffusion analysis" was studied. HCN-Glucoside of ARMENIACA was hydrolysed with KOH in out-room of unit, and then concentrated sulfuric acid was poured in order to liberate the HCN gas. The liberated gas was absorbed into nickel sulfate solution of inner room of unit quantitatively. The excess of nickel sulfate was determined by EDTA Reagent using MX-indicator. By this method, the following results were obtained: (1) It was needed more than 4 hours, in order to hydrolyse completely at $50^{\circ}C$, but could be shortened to 3 hrs. at $^60{\circ}C$. (2) It was completely absorbed into nickel sulfate solution after 30min.
In this paper, we designed a new type of X-internet framework by using Flash component and server service API and analyzed its performance. Proposed X-internet framework uses Flash MX Professional 2004, Java, and software which opened middleware and database. Since proposed framework use the server service API that we developed in this paper and Flash player, this framework does not need server module. Proposed framework enables to obtain design with dynamic user interface compare to Web application and enables to reduce development time. In analytical results, it has been shown that proposed x-internet framework have efficient characteristics such as network traffic, low development cost and dynamic user interface implementation. Since proposed X-internet framework can operate in environment of current developer friendly, it is useful for development of various new application programs and we confirm it through Flash web mail implementation by using proposed x-internet framework.

The goal of this study was to analyze prevalence and distribution of congenitally missing teeth in 3302 patients from 7 to 15 years old, who had visited and taken panoramic radiographs at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, from January 2008 to December 2012. The prevalence of hypodontia in the males (5.9%) was slightly higher than in the females (4.7%). In the affected patients, the mean number of congenitally missing teeth in the mandible was statistically higher than in the maxilla (p < 0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the number of congenitally missing teeth between left and right dentitions (p > 0.05). Excluding the Mn. third molars, the most frequent congenitally missing teeth site was the Mn. second premolars. In contrast, the most infrequent congenitally missing teeth sites were the Mx. and Mn. first premolars, and Mx. central incisors. The bilateral combination or antagonistic quadrants combination of congenitally missing teeth in hypodontia patients was 80.3%. The result of this study will contribute to clinicians to make accurate diagnosis and establish favorable treatment plans, by offering invaluable data about the number and distribution of congenitally missing teeth.

In this study, to replace the 'J-slot joint', a joint device between a disposal canister and an emplacement jig in Deep Borehole Disposal process, a novel joint device was designed and tested. The novel joint device was composed of a wedge on top of a disposal canister and a hook box at the end of a winch system. The designed joint device had merits in that it can recombine an emplaced canister freely without the replacement of the joint component. Moreover, it can be applied to various emplacement jigs such as drill pipes, wire-lines, and coiled tubing. To demonstrate the designed joint device, the joint device (${\Phi}110mm$, H 148 mm), a twin canister string (${\Phi}140mm$, H 1,105 mm), and a water tube (${\Phi}150mm$, H 1,500 mm) as a borehole model were manufactured at 1/3 scale. As deployment muds, Na-type bentonite (MX-80) and Ca-type (GJ II) bentonite muds were prepared at solid contents of 7wt% and 28wt%, respectively. The manufactured joint device showed good performance in pure water and viscous muds, with an operation speed of $10m{\cdot}min^{-1}$. It was concluded that the newly developed joint device can be used for the emplacement and retrieval of a deep disposal canister, below 3~5 km, in the future.
Purpose: This study was aimed to develop a WBI(Web Based Instruction) program on safety for 3rd grade elementary school students and to test the effects of it. Method: The WBI program was developed using Macromedia flash MX, Adobe Illustrator 10.0 and Adobe Photoshop 7.0. The web site was http://www.safeschool.co.kr. The effect of it was tested from Mar 24, to Apr 30, 2003. The subjects were 144 students enrolled in the 3rd grade of an elementary school in Gyungju. The experimental group received the WBI program lessons while each control group received textbook-based lessons with visual presenters and maps, 3 times. Data was analyzed with descriptive statistics, and ${\chi}^2$test, t-test, and repeated measure ANOVA. Result: First, the WBI group reported a longer effect on knowledge and practice of accident prevention than the textbook-based lessons, indicating that the WBI is more effective. Second, the WBI group was better motivated to learn the accident prevention lessons, showing that the WBI is effective. As a result, the WBI group had total longer effects on knowledge, practice and motivation of accident prevention than the textbook-based instruction. Conclusion: We recommend that this WBI program be used in each class to provide more effective safety instruction in elementary schools.
