Superconductivity in Fluorinated $YBa_2Cu_3O_{6+x}$

  • The YBa$_2$Cu$_3$O6+xstructures have been fluorinated by a gas phase exchange technique, and 19F NMR was used to identify the structural fluorine. Magnetic susceptibility measurements showed that the fluorination turned a marginally nonsuperconducting sample into a 40 K superconductor, as well as that it raised the onset of the superconducting transition of the 60 K superconductor YBa$_2$Cu$_3$O6.7 to about 100 K.

Evidence of Spin Reorientation by Mössbauer Analysis

  • We report the crystallographic and magnetic properties of $Ni_{0.3}Fe_{0.7}Ga_2S_4$ by means of X-ray diffractometer (XRD), a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometer, and a M$\ddot{o}$ssbauer spectroscopy. In particular, $Ni_{0.3}Fe_{0.7}Ga_2S_4$ was studied by M$\ddot{o}$ssbauer analysis for evidence of spin reorientation. The chalcogenide material $Ni_{0.3}Fe_{0.7}Ga_2S_4$ was fabricated by a direct reaction method. XRD analysis confirmed that $Ni_{0.3}Fe_{0.7}Ga_2S_4$ has a 2-dimension (2-D) triangular lattice structure, with space group P-3m1. The M$\ddot{o}$ssbauer spectra of $Ni_{0.3}Fe_{0.7}Ga_2S_4$ at spectra at various temperatures from 4.2 to 300 K showed that the spectrum at 4.2 K has a severely distorted 8-line shape, as spin liquid. Electric quadrupole splitting, $E_Q$ has anomalous two-points of temperature dependence of $E_Q$ curve as freezing temperature, $T_f=11K$, and N$\acute{e}$el temperature, $T_N=26K$. This suggests that there appears to be a slowly-fluctuating "spin gel" state between $T_f$ and $T_N$, caused by non-paramagnetic spin state below $T_N$. This comes from charge re-distribution due to spin-orientation above $T_f$, and $T_N$, due to the changing $E_Q$ at various temperatures. Isomer shift value ($0.7mm/s{\leq}{\delta}{\leq}0.9mm/s$) shows that the charge states are ferrous ($Fe^{2+}$), for all temperature range. The Debye temperature for the octahedral site was found to be ${\Theta}_D=260K$.

  • 표면 탄성파 가스센서는 소자의 크기가 작고, 값이 싸며, 가스에 대한 감도가 매우 높고 소자의 신뢰도가 높은 장점을 갖고 있다. 본 연구에서는, $LiTaO_3$ 단결정 압전기판 위에 이중지연선을 갖는 표면 탄성파 $NO_2$ 가스센서를 설계 및 제작하였다. 제조된 IDT의 커패시턴스는 79.3MHz의 주파수에서 326.34pF였다. 임피던스 매칭이 된 IDT의 반사손실은 79.3MHz의 주파수에서 최대인 -16.74dB로 나타났다. SAW 발진기를 성하여 고주파증폭기의 이득을 적절히 조정함으로써 안정된 발진이 이루어짐을 확인하였다. SAW 발진기의 $NO_2$ 가스에 대한 발진주파수의 변이는 28Hz/ppm으로 나타났다.

  • A controller synthesis procedure for precise tracking of reference inputs in the sense of spheres is applied to a 3 d.o.f. robotic manipulator. This methodology applies to a class of nonlinear systems with input uncertainty and parameter uncertainty. The 3 d.o.f. manipulator to be controlled is subjected to varying payloads and is required to follow specified joint trajectories to within prespecified tolerances. The design procedure above lends itself naturally to this type of control problem. The appeal of such a design procedure lies on a special decomposition which exploits linear control theory on the one hand and facilitates a separate treatment of the effects of nonlinearities and the uncertainties on the other.

Spin injection and transport properties of Co/Au/Y$Ba_2$$Cu_3$$O_y$ tunnel junctions

  • We report the spin injection and transport properties of three terminal devices of Co/Au/$YBa_2$$Cu_3$$O_{y}$(F/N/S) tunnel junctions by injection of spin-polarized quaiparticles using a cobalt ferromagnetic injector. The observed current gain depends on the thickness of Au interlayer and is directly related to the nonequilibrium magnetization due to spin relaxation effects. The tunnel characteristic of a F/N/S tunnel junctions exhibited a zero bias conductance peak (ZBCP). The suppression of the ZBCP was observed due to the suppression of Andreev reflection at the interface, which is due to the spin scattering processes at the interface between a ferromagnetic and a d-wave superconductor.r.

Development of 3 D.O.F parallel robot's simulator for education

  • In this paper, it is developed simulator system of 3 D.O.F parallel robot for educate of expertness. This simulator system is composed of three parts ? 3 D.O.F parallel robot, controller (hardware) and software. First, basic structure of the robot is 3 active rotary actuator that small geared step motor with fixed base. An input-link is connected to this actuator, and this input-link can connect two ball joints. Thus, two couplers can be connected to the input-link as a pair. An end-plate, which is jointed by a ball joint, can be connected to the opposite side of the coupler. A sub-link is produced and installed to the internal spring, and then this sub-link is connected to the upper and bottom side of the coupler in order to prevent a certain bending or deformation of the two couplers. The robot has the maximum diameter of 230 mm, 10 kg of weight (include the table), and maximum height of 300 mm. Hardware for control of the robot is composed of computer, micro controller, pulse generator, and motor driver. The PC used in the controller sends commands to the controller, and transform signals input by the user to the coordinate value of the robot by substituting it into equations of kinematics and inverse kinematics. A controller transfer the coordinate value calculated in the PC to a pulse generator by transforming it into signals. A pulse generator analyzes commands, which include the information received from the micro controller. A motor driver transfer the pulse received from the pulse generator to a step motor, and protects against the over-load of the motor Finally, software is a learning purposed control program, which presents the principle of a robot operation and actual implementation. The benefit of this program is that easy for a novice to use. Developed robot simulator system can be practically applied to understand the principle of parallel mechanism, motors, sensor, and various other parts.

V-SUPER VERTEX OUT-MAGIC TOTAL LABELINGS OF DIGRAPHS

  • Let D be a directed graph with p vertices and q arcs. A vertex out-magic total labeling is a bijection f from $V(D){\cup}A(D){\rightarrow}\{1,2,{\ldots},p+q\}$ with the property that for every $v{\in}V(D)$, $f(v)+\sum_{u{\in}O(v)}f((v,u))=k$, for some constant k. Such a labeling is called a V-super vertex out-magic total labeling (V-SVOMT labeling) if $f(V(D))=\{1,2,3,{\ldots},p\}$. A digraph D is called a V-super vertex out-magic total digraph (V-SVOMT digraph) if D admits a V-SVOMT labeling. In this paper, we provide a method to find the most vital nodes in a network by introducing the above labeling and we study the basic properties of such labelings for digraphs. In particular, we completely solve the problem of finding V-SVOMT labeling of generalized de Bruijn digraphs which are used in the interconnection network topologies.

Ni-Cu-Zn페라이트의 손실과 자성 특성 (Power Loss and Electro-Magnetic Characteristics of Ni-Cu-Zn Ferrites)

  • NiO, ZnO 조성이 다른 Ni-Cu-Zn 페라이트의 손실 분석을 실시했다. 손실, Ph는 측정 온도의 상승에 따라 감소 해 $100-120^{\circ}C$ 근처에서 일정한 값을 얻었다. Pcv 의 주파수의존성은 $Pcv\~f^n$ 로 표현될 수 있는데, n는 1 MHz 까지 일정했다. Pcv 는 ZnO/NiO 비가 증가함에 따라 감소한다. Pcv 를 Hysteresis loss, Ph 및 잔류손실, (Pcv-Ph)로 분리했다. Pcv 의 온도특성 및 조성 의존성은 Ph에 기인하지만, (Pcv-Ph)는 온도 및 조성에 의존하지 않는다 Ph 와 초투자률, ${\mu}$i의 온도 및 조성 의존성을 분석 해, 다음과 같은 식이 성립된다는 것을 알 수 있었다. $${\mu}\;_i{\mu}\;_o=I_s\;^2/(K_1+b{\sigma}\;_o{\lambda}\;_s)\;\;\;\;(1)$$ $$Wh=13.5(I_s\;^2/{\mu}\;i{\mu}\;0)\;\;\;\;(2)$$ 여기서, ${\mu}\;_o$ 은 진공의 투자율, $I_s$, 는 포화자화, $K_1$는 이방성상수, ${\sigma}_\;o$는 내부 불균일 응력, ${\lambda}_\;s$ 는 자기이방성 상수,b는 미지의 정수, Wh는 1 주기 당의 히스테리시스 손실(Ph=Wh*f)이다. Ni-Cu-Zn 페라이트의 Steinmetz 정수 m=1.64-2.2는 Mn-Zn 페라이트보다는 적은데, 이는 양 재료간의 손실 메커니즘의 차가 있음을 암시하는 것이다.

(Sr,Ba)TiO3:Pr,Al 형광체의 제조와 발광특성 (Preparation and Luminescent Properties of (Sr,Ba)TiO3:Pr, Al Phosphors)

  • $Sr_xBa_{(1-x)}TiO_3$ red phosphors doped with Pr(0.13 mol%) and Al(O.23 mol%) were synthesized by solid state reaction method. Orthorhombic perovskite structure with increasing value of x in $Sr_xBa_{(1-x)}TiO_3$:Pr,Al phosphors changed to cubic perovskite structure. Emission bands at 615 nm and 492 nm in $Sr_{0.25}Ba_{0.75}TiO_3$:Pr,Al and $BaTiO_3$:Pr,Al phosphors were observed at room temperature. The main cause of green luminescence at 492 nm was explained by the change of the 4f5d band.

Electrical Properties of (Ba,Ca)(Ti,Zr)O3 Ceramics for Bimorph-type Piezoelectric Actuator

  • In this study, lead-free $(Ba_{0.85}Ca_{0.15})(Ti_{1-x}Zr_x)O_3$ ceramics and a bimorph-type piezoelectric actuator were fabricated using the normal oxide-mixed sintering method, and their dielectric properties, microstructure, and displacement properties were investigated. From the results of X-ray diffraction, the pattern of the specimen has a pure perovskite structure. In addition, no secondary impurity phases were found. The excellent piezoelectric coefficient of $d_{33}=454pC/N$, the electromechanical coupling factor $k_p=0.51$, the dielectric constant ${\varepsilon}_r=3,657$, the mechanical quality factor $Q_m=239$, and $T_c$(Tetragonal-Cubic) =$90^{\circ}C$ were shown at x= 0.085. ${\Delta}k_p/k_p20^{\circ}C$ and ${\Delta}f_r/f_r20^{\circ}C$ showed the maximum value of -0.255 and 0.111 at $-20^{\circ}C$ and $80^{\circ}C$, respectively. The maximum total-displacement was $60{\mu}m$ under the input voltage of 50 V. As a result, it is considered that lead-free $(Ba_{0.85}Ca_{0.15})(Ti_{1-x}Zr_x)O_3$ ceramics is a promising candidate for piezoelectric actuator application for x= 0.085.
