A Study on Gait Imbalance Estimation System using 3-axis Accelerometer (3축 가속도 센서를 이용한 보행 불균형 평가 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, an efficient system using 3-axis accelerometer is proposed to diagnose the gait imbalance. The proposed hardware system consists of two 3-axis accelerometers to measure 3 directional acceleration of ankles and an embedded system to transfer the data. The acquired data were normalized and then compared to analyze the symmetry between normal and abnormal gait with ROCC (ratio of correlation coefficient). 10 healthy subjects were participated and each subject repeated the experiment 5 times. To make unbalanced ambulation, the height of the heel of one foot was changed during experiments. From the results, it is verified that ROCC index grew apart from the reference according to growing imbalance and the proposed system could be available for estimation of gait imbalance.

  • 인간 동보행의 원리를 3축가속도 센서를 이용 소형 휴머노이드의 보행원리를 적용시키는 것을 목적으로 건강한 일반인 20명을 대상으로 3축가속도를 사람의 신발 앞꿈치에 장착하여 각 축에 따른 가속도를 측정하였다. 이에 앞서 사람들의 다리길이(골반부터 발목), 개인의 평균 보폭등을 측정하여 각각을 평균화하는 과정을 거치고 이 평균화된 데이터를 기준으로 제작된 소형 휴머노이드의 다리길이에 따른 보폭 및 보행원리를 적용함으로서 소형 휴머노이드의 보행을 간단한 비을 적용하여 제어할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • In this paper, we did pursue the embodiment of a mouse pointing system which help the handicapped and people of not familiar with using electronics use electronic devices easily. Speech Recognition and 3-axis acceleration sensors in conjunction with a headset, a new mouse pointing system is constructed. We used speaker dependent system module which are generating the BCD code by recognizing human voices because it has high recognition rate rather than speaker independent system. Head-set mouse system is organized by 3-axis accelerometer, sound recognition module and TMS320F2812 processor. The main controller, TMS320F2812 DSP-processor is communicated with main computer by using SCI communications. The system is operated by Visual Basic in PC.

  • In this paper, it introduced the device that was fabricated for monitoring sleeping positions of infants with 3-axis accelerometer. Sleep monitoring studies has been usually conducted two ways. To monitor sleeping posture by installing a camera and then recording of sleep in the sleeping room continuously is the first one. The other one is monitoring pressure sensor's results data for sleeping. Those two ways' benefits are that are able to get relatively accurate sleeping posture data but, there are many disadvantages like constraints of spaces and places, the installation of sensors or cameras, and high cost. In addition, it has a lot of problems that difficult to solve. For babies, it's not easy to apply, as well as uncomfortable. The proposed method uses a 3-axis accelerometer's X axis, Y axis, Z axis position output values in order to recognize the bad ground sleeping position that use of the buzzer alarm. This method uses a 3-axis acceleration sensor to measure the data and transmit sleeping posture using Bluetooth wireless in real time monitoring. The data is helpful for prevention safety hazard such as choked themselves when they slept back side on.

  • Recently, Internet (IoT) and big data have been utilized in various fields such as medical, military and sports. Korea Nazarene University is a rehabilitation-welfare university with about 300 students with disabilities. This paper proposes a smart campus that provides the optimal path for the calculation of the route and risk avoidance using the BLE beacon and the 3-axis acceleration sensor when the students with disabilities move in the campus both indoors and outdoors. So we can manage the big data and sensor-based IoT technology for students with disabilities.

  • The global market for temperature sensors for power plants is estimated at around 35 billion won, of which South Korea relies on imported products for more than 95 percent. This study is that a temperature measurement device for gas turbine rotators for power plants and can be applied to more than 800 of 100 MW gas turbine generators operating in Korea. This study has improved durability by changing the shape of the measuring part, structure of the connecting part, and material changes, and is a component technology applicable to other measuring devices such as humidity, gas and hydraulic pressure used in precision chemical process and plant export industry. As a result of this study, temperature sensors designed as three types of sensors for measuring the temperature of the gas turbine for power plants met Class 1 temperature accuracy in the range of 0℃ to 300℃, and improved durability significantly compared to similar products.

  • The PLT thin films on (100) cleaved MgO single crystal substrate have been fabricated by rf magnetron sputtering using a PbO-rich target. The dependence of physical and electrical properties on the degree of c-axis orientation has been studied. The degree of c-axis orientation of PLT thin films depends on fabrication conditions. Fabrication conditions of the PLT thin films were such that substrate temperature, working pressure, gas ratio of $Ar/O_{2}$, and rf power density were $640^{\circ}C$, 10 mTorr, 10 seem, and $1.7\;W/cm^{2}$, respectively. In these conditions, the PLT thin film showed the Pb/Ti ratio of 1/2 at the surface, the resistivity of $8{\times}10^{11}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$, and dielectric constant of 110. The pyroelectric infrared sensors with these PLT thin films showed the peak to peak voltage of 450 m V and signal to noise ratio of 7.2.

  • 산업화가 진행된 세계 주요 선진국들은 의학의 발달과 평균 수명의 증가로 고령화의 위기를 겪고 있다. 인구 고령화에 따라 치매 인구도 크게 증가하였다. 치매 인구의 증가는 국가와 가정의 물질적, 인적 비용을 증가시키고 있다. 이와 같은 사회문제를 해결하고 효율적인 치매 환자 관리를 위한 방법이 필요하다. 관찰 대상자가 치매 증상과 비슷하게 행동한다면 치매를 의심해 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 3축 가속도 센서를 사용하여 대상자의 행위 정보를 수집하고 디지털화한다. 디지털화 된 행위정보를 치매 증상의 행동 패턴과 비교하여 관찰 대상자의 행동이 치매 증상인지 정상적인 활동인지 판단할 수 있는 방법을 소개한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 인공 신경망을 이용한 동작 패턴 분류 시스템을 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 자이로 센서와 가속도 센서를 사용하며 3축의 자이로(각속도) 및 가속도를 측정할 수 있는 센서 모듈과 측정된 데이터를 이용해서 동작 패턴을 분류해 주는 신경망 알고리즘으로 구성된다.

  • 본 연구에서는 노인들이 일상에서 많이 행동하는 7가지 유형의 행동의 특징을 추출하고, 총 7가지 분류 알고리즘에 적용하여 가장 인식률이 높은 알고리즘을 도출하고자 하였다. 행동패턴은 정상보행, 절름발이, 지팡이, 느린 보행, 허리가 굽은 상태에서 보행, 스스로 휠체어 끌 때 그리고 누군가가 휠체어를 끌어줄 때 총 7가지로 구성하였다. 행동패턴의 특징은 3축 가속도 센서의 값, 평균, 표준편차, 수직 및 수평축의 데이터를 사용하였다. 분류 알고리즘은 Naive Bayes, Bayes Net, k-NN, SVM, Decision Tree, Multilayer perception, Logistic regression을 사용하였다. 연구결과 k-NN 알고리즘의 인식률이 98.7%로 다른 분류알고리즘에 비해 인식률이 높게 나타났다.
