Three Dimensional Stress Analysis of Composite Laminates using Stress Functions and Interface Modeling (응력함수와 층간면 모델링을 이용한 복합재 적층판의 3차원 응력해석)

  • 복합재 적층판의 자유단 근처에서 나타나는 층간 응력의 집중 현상을 층간면 효과를 고려해 해석하였다. 복합재 적층판 내부의 임의의 위치에서 3차원 평형방정식을 만족시키기 위해 렉니츠키 응력함수를 도입하였으며, 가상일의 원리를 이용하여 지배방정식을 유도하였다. 주어진 응력함수를 이용하여 구한 3차원 응력들은 복합재 적층판의 아래 위 면뿐만 아니라 자유단에서 하중자유조건을 잘 만족한다. 기하학적 불연속성 때문에 복합재 적층판의 자유단에서는 응력의 특이가 발생하지만, 층간면 효과를 고려하게 되면 층간응력의 집중현상을 정확하게 해석할 수 있다. 자유단에서 발생한 층간응력의 크기를 보면, 층간면 효과를 고려할 경우, 응력특이 효과가 많이 줄어드는 것을 관찰할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 주어진 층간면에서의 정확한 응력 해석은 복합재 적층판의 강도설계를 수행하는 초기 설계 툴로 사용할 수 있다.

High Performance Reflection Effect Processing for Moving Pictures in 3 Dimensional Graphics (3차원 그래픽스의 동영상에 대한 반사 효과의 고속처리)

  • With the advance of high performance computing hardware, many applications have been emerging which exploit real-time computer graphics capabilities. This paper is concerned with an effective realization method for reflection effect for the situations in which moving pictures are played in 3D computer graphics modeling world. The method determines in an geometric way the locations of the projection plan into which the playing areas of moving pictures are mapped, and then realizes the reflection effect with texture mapping. Compared with the traditional stencil buffer-based reflection method, the processing time of the proposed method does not significantly deteriorate for the models with moving pictures and reflection surfaces, and its throughput was improved by 30% at minimum and 127% at maximum for the models used in the comparative studies.

  • 국내 Westinghouse형 및 CE형 가압 경수로의 Non-LOCA 및 성능 분석을 수행할 수 있는 범용 전산 코드 TASS 1.0 코드를 한국원자력연구소에서 개발하였다. TASS 1.0의 노심 출력 계산은 Point Kinetics 모델과 1차원 확산 모델이 함께 내장되어 있어 축방향 출력 분포가 변하는 반응도 관련 사고 및 주증기관 파단 사고들에 대해서는 1차원 확산 모델을 사용하여 노심의 출력 계산이 가능하도록 개발되었다. 1차원 확산 모델의 적용 가능성 및 효과를 평가하기 위하여 Westinghouse형 발전소인 고리 3호기 7주기 및 CE형 발전소인 영광 3호기 1주기 전출력 제어봉 인출 사고에 대한 비교 분석 계산을 수행하였다. 비교 분석 계산 결과 1차원 확산 모델이 Point Kinetics 모델에 비해 DNBR 관점에서 보다 많은 운전 및 열적 여유도를 확보함이 판명되어 반응도 관련 사고 해석에서의 TASS 1.0 1차원 확산모델의 개선 효과를 입증하였다.

  • Mobile games will be one of independent industries on game areas and take the fourth standing in the important platform since PC Games, TV Games, and Palm Games. There are several reasons why mobile games will differ in their platform, behaviors, and habits. According to the data of market consultation about the figure of mobile-game players throughout the world, the Mobile game will increase steadily from 780 million in 2007 to 1860 million in 2010. Also, market income will mount up from $42,100 million to $87,000 million. 3D games have been playing important roles in our lives. Satisfying users' needs in high-quality games, they have been growing and attracting more people with their powerful visual effects and the three-dimensional design player. We cannot emphasize their tremendous visual impacts and animation effects too much. This paper displays how to design 3D application based on J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition) and shows free movement of 3D objects receiving and responding to the keyboard of mobile devices withWTK (Wireless ToolKit) simulator on the 3D screen.

Effective Multi-Modal Feature Fusion for 3D Semantic Segmentation with Multi-View Images (멀티-뷰 영상들을 활용하는 3차원 의미적 분할을 위한 효과적인 멀티-모달 특징 융합)

  • 3D point cloud semantic segmentation is a computer vision task that involves dividing the point cloud into different objects and regions by predicting the class label of each point. Existing 3D semantic segmentation models have some limitations in performing sufficient fusion of multi-modal features while ensuring both characteristics of 2D visual features extracted from RGB images and 3D geometric features extracted from point cloud. Therefore, in this paper, we propose MMCA-Net, a novel 3D semantic segmentation model using 2D-3D multi-modal features. The proposed model effectively fuses two heterogeneous 2D visual features and 3D geometric features by using an intermediate fusion strategy and a multi-modal cross attention-based fusion operation. Also, the proposed model extracts context-rich 3D geometric features from input point cloud consisting of irregularly distributed points by adopting PTv2 as 3D geometric encoder. In this paper, we conducted both quantitative and qualitative experiments with the benchmark dataset, ScanNetv2 in order to analyze the performance of the proposed model. In terms of the metric mIoU, the proposed model showed a 9.2% performance improvement over the PTv2 model using only 3D geometric features, and a 12.12% performance improvement over the MVPNet model using 2D-3D multi-modal features. As a result, we proved the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed model.

Extended Cartoon Rendering using 3D Texture (3차원 텍스처를 이용한 카툰 렌더링의 만화적 스타일 다양화)

  • In this paper, we propose a new method for toon shading using 3D texture which renders 3d objects in a cartoon style. The conventional toon shading using 1D texture displays shading tone by computing the relative position and orientation between a light vector and surface normal. The 1D texture alone has limits to express the various tone change according to any viewing condition. Therefore Barla et. al. replaces a 1D texture with a 2D texture whose the second dimension corresponds to the view-dependent effects such as level-of-abstraction, depthof-field. The proposed scheme extends 2D texture to 3D texture by adding one dimension with the geometric information of 3D objects such as curvature, saliency, and coordinates. This approach supports two kinds of extensions for cartoon style diversification. First, we support "shape exaggeration effect" to emphasize silhouette or highlight according to the geometric information of 3D objects. Second, we further incorporate "cartoon specific effect", which is examples of screen tone and out focusing frequently appeared in cartoons. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach through examples that include a number of 3d objects rendered in various cartoon style.

  • 만성요통 환자 15명을 대상으로 4주간, 주 3회 3차원 척추안정화운동과 허리안정화운동을 실시한 후 3차원 척추안정화검사를 통하여 허리심부근력을 측정하고 Tetrax장비를 통하여 신체균형능력을 평가하였다. 단기간일지라도 3차원척추안정화운동을 통해 정확한 방법으로 운동을 실시하였더니 만성요통환자의 허리근력과 자세균형에 긍정적인 효과를 주었다.

  • 고성능의 3차원 그래픽 가속기 설계를 위해서는 어플리케이션, 하드웨어 구조, 수행모델 채택, 설계비용 등의 다양한 고려사항이 요구되고 따라서 각 모델에 따른 사전 시뮬레이션 환경구축은 반드시 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기본적인 3차원 그래픽 파이프라인 작업을 수행하여 다양한 결과를 보여주는 이식성 높은 시뮬레이션 환경을 제공함으로써 3차원 그래픽 가속하드웨어 세부모듈 설계에 필요한 설계 고려사항을 효과적으로 제시할 수 있게 하였다.

On the Efficient Three-Dimensional Inversion of Static Shifted MT Data (정적효과를 포함한 자기지전류 자료의 효율적인 3차원 역산에 관하여)

  • This paper presents a practical inversion method for recovering a three-dimensional (3D) resistivity model and static shifts simultaneously. Although this method is based on a Gauss-Newton approach that requires a sensitivity matrix, the computer time can be greatly reduced by implementing a simple and effective procedure for updating the sensitivity matrix using the Broyden's algorithm. In this research, we examine the approximate inversion procedure and the weighting factor ${\beta}$ for static shifts through inversion experiments using synthetic MT data. In methods using the full sensitivity matrix constructed only once in the iteration process, a procedure using the full sensitivity in the earlier stage is useful to produce the smallest rms data misfit. The choice of ${\beta}$ is not critical below some threshold value. Synthetic examples demonstrate that the method proposed in this paper is effective in reconstructing a 3D resistivity structure from static-shifted MT data.

  • The stereoscopic image is that we can see it closer than a real thing compared to 2D image, and it has influence on human's vision information because it is more natural method to feel connections between the spaces of the image and himself. There are several method convert from 2d image to 3d image. But, in this paper, we are propose the image separate algorithm of continuous input system through a spatial analysis, not be done with 2D still image. Additionally, we will adapt to the moving vector which has been used in MPEG. In this experiment, we obtained the effect of 3D image.
