호흡보호구 디자인을 위한 삼차원 얼굴인식 및 측정에 관한 고찰 (Review on the Development of 3-Dimensional Face Recognition and Measurement for the Design of Respirators)

  • This article reviewed previous studies on the 3D face recognition and anthropometric facial analysis to design suitable respirators for individuals. 3D facial anthropometric data have not been reported in Korea yet. With 3D facial data, it is possible to design and to manufacture respirators having more effective respirator-face seal and thus providing more comfortable wearing than donning of those respirators designed using 1 and 2-dimensional data. Also 3D data could be used for respirator fit-testing and selecting suitable respirator type and size by computer simulation without several steps of fit-test to each individual worker.

플레어스커트의 가상착용 형상에 관한 연구 -나르시스의 가상착용시스템을 중심으로- (A Study on the 3D Simulating Shapes of the Flared Skirt Using NARCIS-Drape Simulation)

  • We studied the 3D simulating shapes of the flared skirt using NARCIS-Drape Simulation software made in Korea D&M FT. The experimental conditions were made of three types of cuttings (lengthwise, crosswise, 45 bias) and polyester fabrics for flared skirt (light, medium, heavy) and different simulating repetitions (1, 2, ${\cdots}$, 9, 10 times). We accomplished some experimental data on the 3D simulating shapes of the flared skirt made by different conditions. The 3D simulation shapes of the flared skirts were gradually getting stabilized from 5 repetitions. And the length of skirts and the width and depth of hems diminished lower by degrees as the simulating repetitions. It is considered that the simulating repetition for the flared skirt was appropriate in the range of 8 to 10 times. But it was not reasonably showed that the difference in the drape of the flared skirt was made by different cuttings and fabrics.

  • Recently, the small quantity batch production method has come into the spotlight as there are more plastic processing methods. At the same time, the 3D printer market has become globally widespread due to expired 3D printer patents. In particular, the FDM method is widely used for cheap products and materials. However, the FDM scheme is not as good as the injection molding method for quality and strength. This study investigated the effect of the internal filling and strength according to layer thickness to search for the optimum printing of the factors (infill and layer thickness) that determine the strength of the model.

  • This paper describes the design of echo cancslling method(ECM) for transmission with full-duplex which ie transmitted on "2B+D"(144kbps)data through two-wire loop plants. The design objective is 40dB attenuation with a signal-to-noise ratio of $10{\sim}20dB$. Since the transhybrid loos can be as low as $6{\sim}10dB$, the required attenuation of the echo signal is on the order of $50{\sim}55dB$. The used algorithms based on the sign algorithm, and have been improved by using adoptive reference voltage level algorithm.

  • 2D CAD is being replaced by 3D CAD to improve efficiency of product design and manufacturing. Therefore, converting legacy 2D drawings into 3D solid models is required. CSG based approaches construct solid models from orthographic views more efficiently than traditional B-rep based approaches. A major limitation of CSG based approaches has been the limited domain of objects that can be handled. This paper aims at extending the capabilities of CSG based approaches by proposing hint-based recognition of interacting solids of revolution which can handle interacting solids of revolution as well as isolated solids of revolution.

  • We present the optical design of Linear Astigmatism Free - Three Mirror System (LAF-TMS) D200 for UVO-Multiband Polarizing Imager System (UVOMPIS). LAF-TMS D200 is the off-axis wide-field telescope with EPD = 200 mm, F/2, and Field of View (FoV) = 2° × 4°. Its optical mirrors are optimized to freeform surfaces for high-quality optical performance over a wide FoV. The proposed mirror holder consists of four aluminum optomechanical modules that have applied for LAF-TMS D150 which is a prototype of the LAF-TMS system. It can accurately mount mirrors and also can sustain from vibration environments. As a feasibility study, quasi-static, modal, harmonic, and random vibration analyses have been performed to LAF-TMS D150 optomechanical structure under the qualification level of the Soyuz-2/Fregat launch system. We evaluate the vibration analysis results in terms of von Mises stress and Margin of Safety.

Efficient Design of 2-D FIR Fan Filters Using New Formulas for McClellan Transform Parameters

  • New formulas for McClellan transform parameters for the design of 2-D zero-phase FIR fan filters are optimally derived under the integral squared error(ISE) criterion. By imposing the constraint that F(0, 0)=\ulcorner, where F($.$) is the McClellan transform and $\omega$\ulcorner is the cutoff frequency of the 1-D prototype filter, the ISE is directly minimized without modifying it and, as a consequence, closed-form formulas for the McClellan transform parameters are obtained. It is shown that these formulas lead to a very efficient design for 2-D zero-phase FIR fan filters.

해상 광대역 통신을 위한 LTE/Wi-Fi용 이중대역 안테나 설계 (Dual-Band Antenna Design for LTE/Wi-Fi for Maritime Broadband Communication)

  • 본 논문에서는 해상에서 사용할 수 있는 소형 광대역 통신용 안테나를 위해 2.65 GHz, 5 GHz 대역에서 동작하는 LTE/Wi-Fi 통신용 안테나를 설계하였다. 대역폭의 개선을 위해 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나를 선택하였고 각 단계마다 이론적인 근거에 의한 수식을 이용하여 슬롯의 폭, 길이, 전송선로의 폭 등을 계산하였다. 또한 3D 설계가 가능한 CST Microwave Studio 2014 프로그램을 이용하여 마이크로스트립 안테나를 설계하였고, 설계된 안테나를 시뮬레이션한 결과 반사손실이 2.65 GHz에서 -12.712 dB이고 5 GHz에서 -16.583 dB의 값을 보여주었다. 이득은 2.65 GHz에서 1.738 dBi의 값과 5 GHz에서 3.284 dBi의 수치를 보여주었다. 육상에서 사용하는 안테나와 비교하였을 때 통신속도, 통신의 안정성 등 차이가 나타나기 때문에 육상통신보다 열악한 환경인 해상에 사용 가능한 LTE/Wi-Fi용 이중대역 안테나를 설계하고자 한다.

배전급 고온초전도 한류기 절연설계 최적화 연구 (A Study on Optimal Insulation Design of the Distribution Level HTS FCL)

  • In this study, superconducting coil arrangements and cryostat concept design were conducted for the development of 13.2kV/630A bifilar winding type high temperature superconducting(HTS) fault current limiter(FCL) with YBCO coated conductor(CC) wire. The coil consists of several layers with unique non-inductive solenoid winding method. Six types of HTS coil arrangements were investigated for the optimal insulation design of HTS FCL. And, conceptual design of cryostat was conducted for the decrement of thermal invasion and the prevention of low voltage insulation breakdown in the LHe which is used as pressurization gas in sub-cooling condition of liquid nitrogen(LN2). As the results, it was found that the modified suspended type cryostat with horizontal coil arrangement is beneficial to the insulation design of 13.2kV level bifilar winding type HTS FCL.

증강현실 기반의 선박설계 시각화 시스템 (Ship Design Visualization System base on Augmented Reality)

  • 증강현실은 가상현실과 달리 현실 세계를 바탕으로 가상정보를 제공함으로, 보다 향상된 현실감과 상호작용을 가능케 하는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트폰이나 테블릿 PC에서 선박 3D 모델을 시각화하는 증강현실 기반의 선박설계 시각화 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 Contour 기법으로 모서리점을 추출하고, Harris의 코너점 검출기로 대표 특징점을 추출하여 설계도면 데이터베이스를 구축한다. SURF 알고리즘을 이용하여 카메라로부터 입력받은 설계도면 영상에서 대표 특징점들을 추출하여 서버에 저장된 설계도면 DB의 특징점과 설계도면을 매칭하여 인식한다. 인식된 설계도면은 모바일 기기에서 3D 선박 구조물을 증강하여 시각화한다. 기존의 2D로 이루어지는 영업설계에 비해 선박의 이해가 용이하며 설계기간을 단축시키는 효과로 영업경쟁력이 향상될 것으로 기대된다.
