  • Game industry is one of the most popular sector in the world cultural industries in the digital era. 2D and 3D Animation with development of computer technology it. Because Animation needs to show real motion image. The computer hardware and software technique quick change it leads and 2D and 3D the animation is the tendency which provides the growth which is infinite. But recently Game graphic design have a trend 3D Game that is absorbed and easy handling. 2D Game Character is changing to 3D Game Character more and more. This thesis have significant the real motion capture of 3D Game Character and the types, the shapes of 3D Game Character animation. First of all this thesis will define about 3D Game Character as well it will be show examples of real motion capture also it will proposal data of real motion capture. Therefore it will be bring the high technology Animation industry with Digital Contents industry. also hope for the growth of Game Character Animation process and 3D Game Character Animation in Game industry as well contents industry.

  • 물류센터의 위치선정문제 및 차량운송계획문제 등 물류시스템계획문제에서 거리산정문제를 매우 중요한 문제이며 물류비용의 주요 요인이 되고있다. 지금까지의 거리산정문제는 기하학적거리 및 지역도로와 교통조건을 고려한 일반거리, lp-Distance, 등의 방법들을 활용하고 있다. 최근에는 GIS(Geographical Information System)기반에서의 2차원 평면상의 GIS거리(2-D 거리)를 사용하는 방법을 많이 활용하고 있다. 이러한 방법은 지형적인 여건과 고도차이에 따른 실제거리와는 많은 차이가 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 2D기반의 디지털 맵을 3-D 기반의 디지털 맵으로의 변환을 통해 2D GIS 거리산정 방법을 확장하여 3-D기반의 GIS거리 산정 방법을 개발하였다. 이러한 3가지의 거리산정방법; lp-Distance, 2-D 기반의 GIS거리산정 방법 및 3-D기반의 GIS거리산정 방법을 부산지역의 차량운송계획문제(VRP)에 응용하고 그 결과를 비교 분석하였다.

Optimizations of 3D MRI Techniques in Brain by Evaluating SENSE Factors (삼차원 자기공명영상법의 뇌 구조 영상을 위한 최적화 연구: 센스인자 변화에 따른 신호변화 평가)

  • Purpose : A parallel imaging method provides us to improve temporal resolution to obtain three-dimensional (3D) MR images. The objective of this study was to optimize three 3D MRI techniques by adjusting 2D SESNE factors of the parallel imaging method in phantom and human brain. Materials and Methods : With a 3 Tesla MRI system and an 8-channel phase-array sensitivity-encoding (SENSE) coil, three 3D MRI techniques of 3D T1-weighted imaging (3D T1WI), 3D T2-weighted imaging (3D T2WI) and 3D fluid attenuated inversion recovery (3D FLAIR) imaging were optimized with adjusting SESNE factors in a water phantom and three human brains. The 2D SENSE factor was applied on the phase-encoding and the slice-encoding directions. Signal-to-noise ratio(SNR), percent signal reduction rate(%R), and contrast-to-noise ratio(CNR) were calculated by using signal intensities obtained in specific regions-of-interest (ROI). Results : In the phantom study, SENSE factor = 3 was provided in 0.2% reduction of signals against without using SENSE with imaging within 5 minutes for 3D T1WI. SENSE factor = 2 was provided in 0.98% signal reduction against without using SENSE with imaging within 5 minutes for 3D T2WI. SENSE factor = 4 was provided in 0.2% signal reduction against without using SENSE with imaging around 6 minutes for 3D FLAIR. In the human brain study, SNR and CNR were higher with SENSE factors = 3 than 4 for all three imaging techniques. Conclusion : This study was performed to optimize 2D SENSE factors in the three 3D MRI techniques that can be scanned in clinical time limitations with minimizing SNR reductions. Without compromising SNR and CNR, the optimum 2D SENSE factors were 3 and 4, yielding the scan time of about 5 to 6 minutes. Further studies are necessary to optimize 3D MRI techniques in other areas in human body.

  • 3D conversion technology has been studied over past decades and integrated to commercial 3D displays and 3DTVs. The 3D conversion plays an important role in the augmented functionality of three-dimensional television (3DTV), because it can easily provide 3D contents. Generally, depth cues extracted from a static image is used for generating a depth map followed by DIBR (Depth Image Based Rendering) rendering for producing a stereoscopic image. However except some particular images, the existence of depth cues is rare so that the consistent quality of a depth map cannot be accordingly guaranteed. Therefore, it is imperative to make a 3D conversion method that produces satisfactory and consistent 3D for diverse video contents. From this viewpoint, this paper proposes a novel method with applicability to general types of image. For this, saliency as well as edge is utilized. To generate a depth map, geometric perspective, affinity model and binomic filter are used. In the experiments, the proposed method was performed on 24 video clips with a variety of contents. From a subjective test for 3D perception and visual fatigue, satisfactory and comfortable viewing of 3D contents was validated.

  • Weeds may compete detrimentally with the ginseng for moisture and nutrients but hand weeding is the only practical means of eliminating weeds after crop establishment. To define the effects of 2, 4-D herbicide application on the plant growth and root yield of Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer). the herbicide 2, 4-D was applied as a foliar spray with the rates of 0.5. 1.0. 1.5 and 2.0 times of the recommended herbicide dosage 70ml/l0a. The Korean ginseng treated with 2, 4-D in the rate of two times concentration was indistinguishable from nontreated plants in visual rating for foliar symptoms. There were no significant differences of the leaf length and width as well as the stem length and diameter in check plants and those recieving 2, 4-D treatments. The. berry maturing in 3 and 4-years old ginseng was not inhibited with 2, 4-D treatment. The root weight of the 4-years old ginseng plant was not reduced by 2, 4-D application of 2 times dosage. However. when the ginseng seedling was treated with 2, 4-D. detrimental phenomena as stem bending and dicoloration of marginal part of seedling leaf were occured but stem bending was recovered in a few days.

  • In this paper, 2D array transducers using a conductive backer similar to 1-3 composites have been designed, fabricated, and evaluated. The conductive backer was based on well known manufacturing process of 1-3 composites with affordable ingredients. The 2D array transducer had 4,096 elements designed to have 3.5 MHz center frequency and a fractional bandwidth over 60 %. Fabricated prototype of the transducer satisfied the specifications in the center frequency and bandwidth. Performance over the entire elements was so uniform that the standard deviation was less than 0.81 dB. Thus applicability of the conductive backer proposed in this work to 2D array transducers was verified.

  • This paper addresses the stereoscopic 3D broadcasting technology that delivers the 3DTV contents through the digital cable networks. In order to convey the 3D contents via DCA TV network, specifications of 3D video format, compression, multiplexing, signalling and transport are to be developed. Since 3D has some constraints unlike 2D, it is required to be well designed by considering the capacity of the additional view and the backward/forward compatibility. This paper goes with the latest trends of 3D standard, requirements and service scenarios and then covers the 3D format, compression, multiplexing and signaling, service information and transport/reception technologies.

  • Recently, earthquakes have occurred in our country and seismic stability of high-rise buildings in large cities is being a growing interest and thus the related studies have been increased. Also the grounds are considered indirectly in most of seismic designs and analyses and seismic researches based on 3D dynamic analysis are insufficient. In this study, therefore, 2D and 3D dynamic analyses were performed based on the SSI complete model including grounds and the behavior was compared and analyzed. For dynamic modeling, linear time history analyses were performed by using MIDAS GTS NX. For this purpose, a high-rise building was assumed to be constructed on top of the bedrock and surrounded by a surface layer. A sensitivity analysis was performed with the selected parameters. The dynamic behavior was compared and analyzed in terms of horizontal displacements, drift ratios, bending stresses, and weak parts. In most cases, 2D dynamic behavior was calculated to be larger than 3D's and thus it shows more conservative results with increasing number and size of weak parts.

  • 3DTV는 아나로그 TV 및 HDTV의 차세대 이슈로 부상하였다. 그러나 대부분의 컨텐츠가 2D로 획득되어 저장되어 있으므로 2D 컨텐츠의 3D로의 변화이 필수적이다. MPEG 및 JVT에서 표준화가 진행되고 있으며 이를 위해 국내외 연구소, 학교, 및 업계가 관심을 가지고 참여하고 있다. 2D/3D 변환은 오래전부터 연구되어 왔으나 실제 응용에서는 기대에 못 미치고 있다. 본 논문에서는 FPGA에 기반하고 VHDL로 코딩하여 2D/3D 변환을 위한 Convolution filter를 적용하였다. 좌우 영상을 생성하기 위하여 Convolution filter로 좌우 영상을 왜곡하였다. 필터의 사용으로 사용자의 위치나 취향에 따라서 영상의 왜곡을 달리하여 효과의 변화를 줄 수 있다.

  • 3D Point Cloud는 3D 콘텐츠를 더욱 실감 나게 표현하기 위한 데이터 포맷이다. Point Cloud 데이터는 3차원 공간상에 존재하는 데이터로 기존의 2D 영상에 비해 거대한 용량을 가지고 있다. 최근 대용량 Point Cloud의 3D 데이터를 압축하기 위해 V-PCC(Video-based Point Cloud Compression)와 같은 다양한 방법이 제시되고 있다. 따라서 Point Cloud 데이터의 원활한 전송 및 저장을 위해서는 V-PCC와 같은 압축 기술이 요구된다. V-PCC는 Point Cloud의 데이터들을 Patch로써 뜯어내고 2D에 Projection 시켜 3D의 영상을 2D 형식으로 변환하고 2D로 변환된 Point Cloud 영상을 기존의 2D 압축 코덱을 활용하여 압축하는 기술이다. 이 V-PCC로 변환된 2D 영상은 기존 2D 영상을 전송하는 방식을 활용하여 네트워크 기반 전송이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 V-PCC 방식으로 압축한 V3C 데이터를 방송망으로 전송 및 소비하기 위해 MPEG Media Transport(MMT) Packet을 만드는 패킷화 방안을 제안한다. 또한 Server와 Client에서 주고받은 V3C(Visual Volumetric Video Coding) 데이터의 비트스트림을 비교하여 검증한다.
