급속액상부숙기술(TAO system)을 이용한 가축분뇨 슬러리의 질소.인 저감기술 (Reducing Technique for Nitrogen and Phosphorus in Piggery Slurry by the Thermophilic Aerobic Oxidation(TAO) System)

  • 돈분뇨에 함유된 질소.인의 부하저감과 액비살포면적 감소에 대하여 급속액상부숙기술 반응기(TAO system)과 28mesh, 200mesh의 막을 가진 고액분리기를 적용하여 연구한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 농가에서 발생하는 분뇨 $4.6m^3/day$에 함유된 질소와 인의 양은 22.5kg.N/day($4,893mg/{\ell}$), 7.32kg.P/day($1,592mg/{\ell}$)이었따. 2. 감량화 단계에서는 질소와 인이 각각 12.6kg.N/day($4,862mg/{\ell}$), 3.85kg.P/day$(1,397mg/{\ell}$)로 46.0%, 34.0% 감소하였다. 3. 고액분리단계에서는 질소와 인이 각각 12.0kg. N/day($5,000mg/{\ell}$), 2.2kg.P/day($929mg/{\ell}$)로 일일 발생량이 46.6%, 69.8% 감소하였다. 4. 질소시비량을 기준으로 처리 전.후의 액비 살포면적은 논의 경우, 74.7ha/y에서 39.0ha/y, 밭의 경우, 63.2ha/y에서 33.0ha/y로 감소하였다.

Molecular Orbital Calculations for the Formation of GaN Layers on Ultra-thin AlN/6H-SiC Surface Using Alternating Pulsative Supply of Gaseous Trimethyl Gallium (TMG) and NH$_3$

  • The steps for the generation of very thin GaN films on ultrathin AlN/6H-SiC surface by alternating a pulsative supply (APS) of trimethyl gallium and NH3 gases have been examined by ASED-MO calculations. We postulate that the gallium cul ster was formed with the evaporation of CH4 gases via the decomposition of trimethyl gallium (TMG), dimethyl gallium (DMG), and monomethyl galluim (MMG). During the injection of NH3 gas into the reactor, the atomic hydrogens were produced from the thermal decomposition of NH3 molecule. These hydrogen gases activated the Ga-C bond cleavage. An energetically stable GaN nucleation site was formed via nitrogen incorporation into the layer of gallium cluster. The nitrogen atoms produced from the thermal degradation of NH3 were expected to incorporate into the edge of the gallium cluster since the galliums bind weakly to each other (0.19 eV). The structure was stabilized by 2.08 eV, as an adsorbed N atom incorporated into a tetrahedral site of the Ga cluster. This suggests that the adhesion of the initial layer can be reinforced by the incorporation of nitrogen atom through the formation of large grain boundary GaN crystals at the early stage of GaN film growth.

비막치어(Dissostichus eleginoides) 근육 및 간의 식품성분 (Food Components of the Muscle and Liver of Patagonian Toothfish Dissostichus eleginoides)

  • Proximate compositions, fatty acid profiles, and total amino acid compositions of the muscle and liver of Patagonian toothfish Dissostichus eleginoides were studied. Lipid contents of the muscle and liver of the fish were 22.3% and 35.3%, respectively. Protein content was higher in the fish muscle (12.8%) than in the liver (8.7%). Moisture content was also higher in the muscle (63.6%) than in the liver (49.8%). The prominent fatty acids in the total lipids of the fish muscle and liver were 18:1n-9, 16:0, 20:1n-9, 16:1n-7, 22:6n-3 (docosahexaenoic acid, DHA), 18:1n-7, 22:1n-11, 18:0, and 20:5n-3 (eicosapentaenoic acid, EPA). The fish muscle and liver contained approximately 1,000 to 2,500 mg of DHA and 400 to 600 mg of EPA per 100 g of tissue. Therefore, the fish muscle and liver are good sources of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. On the other hand, the total amino acid content of the fish was 11.7 g/100 g muscle and 6.53 g/100 g liver. The prominent total amino acids profiles in the fish muscle and liver were glutamic acid, lysine, aspartic acid, leucine, and alanine, which are similar to those in other fishes.

  • In this study, lipid classes and fatty acids composition in viscera and muscle of the philippines Pinkgray goby, Amblychaeturichtys hexanema were determined. The viscera contained high levels of total lipid $(TL,\;4.8\%)$, while the muscle contained less TL $(0.5\%)$. TL in the viscera consisted of triacylglycerol $(83.9\%)$, diacylglycerol $(7.9\%)$, polar lipid $(7.4\%)$, and cholesterol $(0.8\%)$. However, the muscle contained a small amount of TG $(3.0\%)$ and much more PL $(73.8\%)$. Principal fatty acids composition of PL and NL in the viscera and muscle were 16:0, 16:1n-7, 18:0, 18: 1n-9, 18:1n-7, l8:3n-3, 20:5n-3, 22:5n-3, and 22:6n-3.

시판 무김치 중의 N-Nitrosamine (N-Nitrosamine of Marketing Radish Kimchi)

  • A total of 18 marketing radish kimchi samples, 7 species of kakdugi, 6 species of chonggak kimchi and 5 species of dongchimi were analyzed for their N nitrosamine levels by gas chromatography thermal energy analyzer(GC TEA). N nitrosodimethylamine(NDMA) was the only volatile N nitr osamine found in this study and was positive in all collected samples. The average amount of NDMA for kakdugi, chonggak kimchi and dongchimi were 22.9, 13.7 and 23.4 g/kg, and the range were 3.3~ 35.9, 2.6~50.6 and 4.5~65.1 g/kg, respectively. The range of pH for all samples were 3.6~5.4 and the average recovery of internal standard(N nitrosodipropylamine) were 82.0%. NDMA amounts were highest in chonggakkimch (50.6 g/kg) and dongchimi(65.1 g/kg) among collected samples.

정어리를 기질로 제조한 Koji의 Lipase활성과 지질성분 (Studies on the Lipase Activity and Lipid Components of the Molded Sardine Meal 'Koji')

  • 액젓 제조시 발효를 촉진하기 위하여 정어리를 기질로한 코오지를 제조하고 이것으로 부터 추출한 조효소액인 lipase의 pH 및 온도의존성과 코오지의 구성지질 및 지방산 조성을 조사하였다. Lipase의 최적 활성을 나타내는 pH는 $7{\sim}8$이었으며 pH 5.0 이하와 9.0 이상이 되면 활성은 급격히 감소하였고, 최적온도는 $40^{\circ}C$ 부근이였다. pH 및 온도에 변화에 따른 활성잔존율을 조사한 바 pH $6{\sim}9$ 범위에서 $90{\sim}100\%$, $40^{\circ}C$에서 1시간 가열처리했을때 약 $80\%$의 잔존율을 보였고 $50^{\circ}C$ 이상이 되면 잔존율은 크게 감소하여 $50^{\circ}C$$10\%$, $60^{\circ}C$$3\%$의 잔존율을 보였다. 코오지 지질 조성은 중성지질은 triglyceride가 $53.4\%$ 유리지방산은 $28.1\%$로 전체 중성 지질의 $81.5\%$를 차지하였고 인지질은 phosphatidylethanol이 $32.7\%$로 가장 높았고 그 다음이 phosphatidylinositol이 $25.5\%$, phosphatidylcholine이 $25.1\%$였고 그 외 lyso-phosphatidyl-choline, sphingomyeline 등도 $7.3\%$$3.5\%$정도 함유되어 있었다. 한편 총지질과 중성지질의 주요 지방산은 16:0, 22:6, 18:1n-9, 18:2n-6 및 20:5이였고 인지질의 경우는 22:6이 중성지질에 비해 월등히 높게 나타났고 그 다음이 16:0, 18:2n-6 및 20:5로 나타났다.

  • This experiment was carried out to study the carcass characteristics, chemical composition and fatty acid profile of the Longissimus muscle (LM) of bulls (10) and steers (17) finished in a pasture system. Animals (1/2 Zebu vs. 1/2 Aberdeen Angus) were fed in a pasture system (Hermatria altissima) and with a supplement of soybean meal, cracked corn, urea, limestone and mineral salts, twice a day. Both animal groups were slaughtered at 27 months of age, with an average 508.88 kg of live weight. Final weight, hot carcass weight and texture were similar (p>0.05) between bulls and steers. Carcass dressing, fat thickness, color and marbling were higher (p<0.02) in steers. Conversely, the Longissimus area was greater (p<0.05) in bulls. Moisture levels were higher (p<0.01) in bulls. Ash, crude protein, total lipids and total cholesterol levels were higher (p<0.10) in steers. C14:0, C16:0, C16:1 n-7 and C18:1 n-9 fatty acids percentages were higher (p<0.06) in steers. C16-1 n-10, i 17:0, C19:0, C18:2 n-6, C18:3 n-3, C20:2 n-3 C20:4 n-6, C20:5 n-3, C22:1 n-7, C22:4 n-6 and C22:5 n-3 fatty acids percentages were higher (p<0.05) in bulls. The percentage of the other fatty acids was similar (p>0.05) in bulls and steers. The levels of monounsaturated fatty acids were higher (p<0.02) in steers while polyunsaturated fatty acids, n-3, n-6, PUFA/SFA and n6:n3 ratios, were higher (p<0.05) in bulls. The CLA contents (mg/g lipids) were similar (p>0.10) in bulls and steers.

식이의 n-3 지방산과 지방의 불포화도가 혈장지질 조성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Dietary n-3 Fatty Acids and Fat Unsaturation on Plasma Lipids and Lipoproteins in Rats)

  • This study was to compare the effects of dietary n-6 and n-3 fatty acids and fat unsaturation on plasma lipids and chemical composition of VLDL and LDL fraction and lipogenic enzymes activity in rat liver under the conditions providing 1) a similar amount of n-6, n-3 fatty acids(LA, ALA, EPA+DHA) in diets and 2) the various degree of fat unsaturation. Male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 420g were treated for 6-n with six experimental diets providing 25% of energy as fat and which were different only in fatty acid composition. The fats used for a source of each fatty acid were beet tallow for saturated fatty acid corn oil for n-6 linoleic acid(LA) perilla oil for n-3 $\alpha$-linolenic acid(ALA) and fish oil n-3 eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and n-3 docosahexaenoic acid(DHA). Plasma cholesterol level was increased by corn oil to compare with beef tallow but was decreased by perilla oil or fish oil. Plasma TG level was significantly decreased by perilla oil or fish oil. Fish oil significantly reduced the level of HDL-Chol and the proportion of Chol in LDL fraction and that of TG in vVLDL fraction. Overall there was a singificant negative correlation between the level of each plasma lipid(Chol TG, VLDL-TG, LDL-C) and the degree of fat unsaturation. However this rerlationship is not always true when compared the hypolipidemic effect of each fatty acid at a similar level of fat unsaturation. There was a trend such taht glucose 6-P dehydrogenase 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase and malic enzyme activites were reduced by n-3 fatty acids. Perilla oil significantly increased the incorporation of c20:5 and c22:5 into liver tissue and fish oil suignificantly increased the incorporation of c20:5, c22:6 into liver tissue and the effect of long chain n-3 fatty acid incorporation was greater by fish oil. therefore the hypotriglyceridemic effect of n-3 fatty acid could be resulted from the interference of hepatic lipogenesis by long-chain n-3 fatty acids and the reduced proportion of TG in VLDL fraction and its effect was greater by n-3 EPA+DHA than n-3 ALA even though plasma Chol and TG levels were also influenced by the degree of dietary fat unsaturation.

천연 및 인공 넙치종묘의 성장 단계에 따른 지질조성 및 비타민 E 함량 비교 (Comparison of Lipids and Vitamin E Content with Growth Stages Between Cultured and Wild Olive Flounder Larvae (Paralichthys olivaceus))

  • 천연 및 인공 넙치 종묘의 성장 단계에 따른 체지질 조성 변화를 비교 검토한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 어체의 지질 및 비타민 E 함량은 천연 종묘 보다 인공 종묘에서 높은 값을 나타내었다. 2) 어체 성장에 따른 지질, 지방산(18: 2n-6, 22: 6n-3) 및 비타민 E 함량 변화는 부화 후 전장 5-10mm 전후의 배합 사료 공급기에서 급격한 증감 현상을 보였다. 3) 어체 지질, 지방산 조성 및 비타민 E 함량은 먹이 조성에 직접적인 영향을 받았다. 4) 천연 종묘는 인공 종묘에 비해 자연 상태에서 지질 함량이 낮고 고농도의 DHA를 함유하고 있는 천연 먹이를 섭취한 것으로 추정되었다.

수생식물을 이용한 담수 순환여과식 양식용수내의 무기영양염 처리 효율 (Inorganic Nutrient Removal Efficiency of Aquatic Plants from Recirculating Aquaculture System)

  • Inorganic nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphate compounds accumulate in recirculating aquaculture systems. These nutrients must be removed from the system before they affect pH and fish health. For this purpose, aquatic plants are a simple and inexpensive method of removal. There are four commonly used aquatic plants: Eichhornia crassipes (water hyacinth), Pistia stratiotes (water lettuce), Hygrophila angustifolia, and Hydrocotyle leucocephala in freshwater recirculating aquaculture systems in Korea, but their efficiencies are not known. Therefore, removal efficiencies of inorganic nutrients from a freshwater recirculating aquaculture water with four commonly used aquatic plants were tested. Removing efficiencies of TAN, N $O_2$$^{[-10]}$ -N, and N $O_3$$^{[-10]}$ -N of the plants in 210 L aquaria for 48-hour period were tested. The removing efficiencies of TAN, N $O_3$$^{[-10]}$ -N, and P $O_4$$^{3-}$-P of the two most effective plants, water hyacinth and water lettuce, were also tested in 690 L (surface area of 1.55 $m^2$) tanks under 2 different initial stocking densities, 4 kg and 6 kg, for 22 days. Proximate analysis major nutrients and N and P contents of the all plants were analyzed for calculating net removal weight of N and P by the plants. Water lettuce was the most effective for removing TAN, N $O_2$$^{[-10]}$ -N, and N $O_3$$^{[-10]}$ -N from the water for 48-hour period tested followed by water hyacinth and Hygrophila angustifolia. Water lettuce reduced TAN, N $O_2$$^{[-10]}$ -N, and N $O_3$$^{[-10]}$ -N concentration from 2.3 mg/L, 0.197 mg/L, and 21.4 mg/L to 0.4 mg/L, 0.024 mg/L and 17.4 mg/L, respectively while water hyacinth reduced them down to 0.6 mg/L, 0.029 mg/L and 17.9 mg/L, respectively. The concentrations of TAN, N $O_2$$^{[-10]}$ -N, and N $O_3$$^{[-10]}$ -N in Hydrocotyle leucocephala group were rather increased up to 3.7 mg/L, 5.7 mg/L and 48.2 mg/L, respectively. This is because the creeping stem of Hydrocotyle leucocephala had to be cut to meet stocking weight resulting in decaying of the stem in the aquaria during experiment. The net growth in weight of water hycinth and water lettuce of 4 kg each in the 1.55 $m^2$ tanks for 22 days were 9.768 kg and 10.803 kg respectively, and those at initial weight of 6 kg each were 8.393 kg and 9.433 kg, respectively. The reason of lower net growth in the later group was restricted growth space. Nitrogen and phosphorus contents in water hyacinth were 2.89% and 0.27%, and those in water lettuce were 3.87% and 0.36%, respectively. Average quantities of removed N and P from 1.55 $m^2$ tanks by water hyacinth for 22 days were 18.9 g and 1.75 g, while those by water lettuce were 36.8 g and 3.5 g, respectively. Therefore water lettuce showed much higher efficiencies for removing both N and P from recirculating aquaculture water than water hyacinth.
