  • 여느 해와 마찬가지로 2012년도 다사다난했다는 말로 정리할 수 있을 것 같다. 그중에서도 인쇄문화산업 진흥 5개년 계획의 발표는 우리 인쇄업계의 숙원이 이뤄진 뜻 깊은 사건으로 기록될 수 있을 것이다. 하지만 바닥을 모르고 침체를 더해가는 경기불황은 인쇄인의 주름살을 더욱 깊게 만들었다.

A Study on the Change of Dental Scaling Experience in Some Areas after Applying Scaling Insurance (스케일링 보험적용에 따른 일부지역의 스케일링 경험 변화 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the regional change of dental scaling experience by scaling insurance coverage in July, 2013. The data were used in the "Community Health Survey" of the 2012 and 2014. The results of the study are as follows; 1) The subjective oral health status and brushing of lunch was highest in Gangnam-gu in both 2012 and 2014(p<0.001). 2) Regular dental check-up was high in Gangnam-gu in both 2012 and 2014(p<0.001). 3) The Scaling experience rate increased in all three regions(p<0.001). 4) The socio-demographic characteristics and scaling experience were higher in 2012 and 2014(p<0.001). The scaling experience was higher when there were office workers and spouses(p<0.001). From the policy perspective, it seems necessary to take measures to reduce the gap in scaling experience rate due to differences in income and unequal medical environment.

The Impacts of Coeducation in High School on the College Scholastic Ability Test (고등학교의 남녀공학 여부가 대입수능에 미치는 영향)

  • Park et al. (2012) examined the impacts of coeducation in high school on the college scholastic ability test using random assignment in Seoul high schools. However, the student random assignment in Seoul within a school district was performed only within 30 min commutable areas using public transportation and Park et al. (2012) did not aware of this rule. This paper reexamines the question by matching nearest two single sex schools with a coeducation school within a school district. We found single sex school students achieve higher test score than that of coeducation school for both male and female. The magnitude of test score improvement for female is smaller than that of Park et al. (2012). However, the magnitude for male is bigger than that of Park et al. (2012).

Nitrogen Budget of South Korea Including Gaseous Nitrogen Oxides from 2012 to 2014 (기체상 질소산화물을 포함한 2012~2014년도 대한민국 질소수지 연구)

  • This study estimated the nitrogen budget, including gaseous nitrogen oxides ($NO_x$), of South Korea in 2012~2014. The nitrogen budget was classified into three categories: agricultural and livestock, forest, and city. To estimate the nitrogen budget, several input and output parameters were investigated, including deposition, fixation, irrigation, chemical fertilizer use, compost, fuel, denitrification, volatilization, runoff, crop uptake, leaching, and $NO_x$ emissions. The annual nitrogen inputs from 2012 to 2014 were 6,202,828, 6,137,708, and 6,022,379 ton/yr, respectively. The corresponding annual nitrogen outputs were 1,393,763, 1,380,406, and 1,360,819 ton/yr, respectively, signifying a slight decrease from 2012 to 2014. $NO_x$ was the parameter contributing to the nitrogen budget to the greatest extent. The annual ratios of $NO_x$ emissions by vehicles, power plants, and businesses were 0.31, 0.31, and 0.30 in 2012, 2013, and 2014, respectively. A change in government policy that prohibited the disposal of livestock manure and sewage sludge in the ocean from 2012 affected nitrogen budget profile. As a result, the ocean disposal ratio completely diminished, which differs from previous studies.

Triple Junction GAGET2-ID2 Solar Cell Degradation by Solar Proton Events (태양 양성자 이벤트에 의한 삼중 접합 GAGET2-ID2 태양전지 열화)

  • In nearly all space environments, the solar cell degradation is dominated by protons[1]. Even through a GEO orbit lines in the electron radiation belts, the protons emitted from any solar event will still dominate the degradation[1]. Since COMS launch on June 26 2010, the proton events with the fluence of more than approximately 30 times the average level of perennial observations were observed between January 23 - 29 2012 and March 07 - 14 2012[16]. This paper studies the solar cell degradation by solar proton events in January and March 2012 for the open circuit voltage(Voc) of a witness cell and the short circuit current(Isc) of a section connected to a shunt switch. To evaluate the performance of solar cell, the flight data of voltage and current are corrected to the temperature, the Earth-Sun distance and the Sun angle and then compare with the solar cell characteristics at BOL. The Voc voltage dropped about 23.6mV compare after the March 2012 proton events to before the January 2012 proton events. The Voc voltage dropped less than 1% at BOL, which is 2575mV. The Isc current decreased negligible, as expected, in the March 2012 proton events.
