Health could be maintained and promoted by pursuing an active healthy lifestyle. Life-style include health habits and behavior pattern such as exercise, diatry change, weight control, stress management et al. The objectives of this studies are (1) to analyze recognition and practice of lifestyle between nurses and non-nurses, (2) to analyze health status of clients which presented healthy lifestyle, (3) to analyze factors that affected healthy lifestyle. The lifestyle assessment questionnaire is divided into ten sections: competence in selfcare, nutritional practices, physical activity, sleep patterns, stress management, self-actualization, sense of purpose, relation with others, environmental control, and use of health care system. The major results are as follows : (1) The level of recognition and practice of lifestyle was not high. Nurses showed more higher score than non nurses in lifestyle area such as competence in selfcare, stress management, environmental control, and use of health care system. (2) Good health status and lifestyle presented positive relation. (3) In mutiple classifiction analysis, competence in selfcare, nutritional practices, physical activity, sleep patterns, stress management, environmental control, and use of health care system had significant relation to independent variables. (4) Change of concept for healthy lifestyle after this survey was higher in nurses group and the most concern area was stress management. To sum up, lifestyle pattern of nurses as health professional was not desirably high. Therefore nurses ownself should effort to practice healthy lifestyle prior to others, and then educate importance of lifestyle for health promotion and disease prevention. In conclusion, it will be useful to consider significant lifestyle factors that was be identified in this study to develop health promotion program.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the preceptorship on nursing performance and job satisfaction of the preceptor. This study was as a one group pretest-posttest study. The subjects were 33 nurses who was selected as preceptors in 1998. This study was carried out from 16 April 1998 to 25 May 1998. Nursing performance was measured on a 6-D scale developed by Schwirian (1978) and job satisfaction was measured by a tool developed by Slavitt et al.(1978) and interpreted by Yoon (1990). The collected data were analyzed by paired t-test with SPSSWIN. The results were summarized as follows: 1. After the preceptorship, nursing performance of the preceptor increased significantly compared to before the preceptorship. All of the score of subscales was increased. 2. After the preceptorship, job satisfaction of the preceptor was increased slightly compared with before the preceptorship, but it was not statistically significant. The scores of the subscales increased in job status, interaction, autonomy, and organization. However, the score of the task requirement was decreased. Through the results of this study, increase in nursing performance, but only a slight increase in job satisfaction can be observed(not statistically significant). It seems that the content of preceptor program, the principle of adult learning, scientific problem solving, communication, feedback, and direct teaching experience affect the individual nursing performance of the preceptor. The preceptorship was useful with personnel development in terms of organization. To fully carry out the role of educating the preceptee, it is important to motivate the preceptor and to induce job satisfaction of the preceptor.
Shigellosis is a global human health problem. Four species of Shigella i.e. S. dysenteriae, S. flexneri, S. boydii and S. sonnei are able to cause the disease. These species are subdivided into serotypes on the basis of O-specific polysaccharide of the LPS. Shigella dysenteriae type 1 produces severe disease and may be associated with life-threatening complications. The symptoms of shigellosis include diarrhoea and/or dysentery with frequent mucoid bloody stools, abdominal cramps and tenesmus. Shigella spp. cause dysentery by invading the colonic mucosa. Shigella bacteria multiply within colonic epithelial cells, cause cell death and spread laterally to infect and kill adjacent epithelial cells, causing mucosal ulceration, inflammation and bleeding. Transmission usually occurs via contaminated food and water or through person-to-person contact. Laboratory diagnosis is made by culturing the stool samples using selective/differential agar media. Shigella spp. are highly fragile organism and considerable care must be exercised in collecting faecal specimens, transporting them to the laboratories and in using appropriate media for isolation. Antimicrobial agents are the mainstay of therapy of all cases of shigellosis. Due to the global emergence of drug resistance, the choice of antimicrobial agents for treating shigellosis is limited. Although single dose of norfloxacin and ciprofloxacin has been shown to be effective, they are currently less effective against S. dysenteriae type 1 infection. Newer quinolones, cephalosporin derivatives, and azithromycin are the drug of choice. However, fluoroquinolone-resistant S. dysenteriae type 1 infection have been reported. Currently, no vaccines against Shigella infection exist. Both live and subunit parenteral vaccine candidates are under development. Because immunity to Shigella is serotype-specific, the priority is to develop vaccine against S. dysenteriae type 1 and S. flexneri type 2a. Shigella species are important pathogens responsible for diarrhoeal diseases and dysentery occurring all over the world. The morbidity and mortality due to shigellosis are especially high among children in developing countries. A recent review of literature (KotIoff et al.,1999) concluded that, of the estimated 165 million cases of Shigella diarrhoea that occur annually, $99\%$ occur in developing countries, and in developing countries $69\%$ of episodes occur in children under five years of age. Moreover, of the ca.1.1 million deaths attributed to Shigella infections in developing countries, $60\%$ of deaths occur in the under-five age group. Travellers from developed to developing regions and soldiers serving under field conditions are also at an increased risk to develop shigellosis.

The solvolysis of substituted benzyl bromides was studied in binary solvent mixtures of acetone-water and ethanol-water at $25^{\circ}C$ and $45^{\circ}C$. The rate constants increase with electron-donating substituents in benzene ring and increasing of water contents in both of solvent mixtures. The sensitivity parameter (m) of the solvolysis of substituted benzyl bromides to solvent ionizing power (Y) was decreased in going from the electron-donating group to electron-withdrawing one, whereas their nucleophilic sensitivity increased continuously in going to above same substituents. It was shown that electron-donating (electron-withdrawing) groups make the transition state looser (tighter). The above results were consisted with the account for the potential energy surface model and the quantum mechanical approach.
In this paper, a neutron moderation system for boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) based on a $^{252}Cf$ neutron source is proposed. Different materials have been studied in order to produce a high percentage of epithermal neutrons. A moderator with a construction mixture of $AlF_3$ and Al, three reflectors of $Al_2O_3$, BeO, graphite, and seven filters (Bi, Cu, Fe, Pb, Ti, a two-layer filter of Ti+Bi, and a two-layer filter of Ti+Pb) is considered. The MCNPX simulation code has been used to calculate the neutron and gamma flux at the output window of the neutronic system. The results show that the epithermal neutron flux is relatively high for four filters: Ti+Pb, Ti+Bi, Bi, and Ti. However, a layer of Ti cannot reduce the contribution of ${\gamma}$-rays at the output window. Although the neutron spectra filtered by the Ti+Bi and Ti+Pb overlap, a large fraction of neutrons (74.95%) has epithermal energy when the Ti+Pb is used as a filter. However, the percentages of the fast and thermal neutrons are 25% and 0.5%, respectively. The Bi layer provides a relatively low epithermal neutron flux. Moreover, an assembly configuration of 30% $AlF_3+70%$ Al moderator/$Al_2O_3$ reflector/a two-layer filter of Ti+Pb reduces the fast neutron flux at the output port much more than other assembly combinations. In comparison with a recent model suggested by Ghassoun et al., the proposed neutron moderation system provides a higher epithermal flux with a relatively low contamination of gamma rays.
The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze leading brands of the scooter-sharing system market of Korea, KICKGOING and Lime, in terms of user experience, and to suggest the improvement direction of the applications and scooters of those two services. The assessment was conducted in such a way that the experimental group using scooter-sharing system over a certain frequency would choose the specific service they use most frequently, and complete a questionnaire: based on the reorganized version of the Peter Morville's Honeycomb Model. Based on the results of the experiment, We drew a conclusion that the services need to add navigation features in the application, to provide more simple procedures for reporting breakdown or accident and browsing insurance information, and to improve the user and pedestrian safety levels by gamification, et cetera. We expect this study to help the fast-growing smart mobility market and scooter-sharing systems that represent the market develop into a user-centered way.

The purposes of this study are: 1) to verify the systems thinking factor structure of elementary school students and 2) to compare systems thinking according to their preferred subjects in order to get implications for following research. For the study, pre-tests analyze data from 732 elementary school students using the STMI (Systems Thinking Measuring Instrument) developed by Lee et al. (2013). And exploratory factor analysis was conducted to identify the factor structure of the students. Based on the results of the pre-test, the expert group council revised the STMI so that elementary school students could respond to the 5-factor structure that STMI intended. In the post-test, 503 data were analyzed by modified STMI and exploratory factor analysis was performed. The results of the study are as follows: First, in the pre-test, elementary school students responded to the STMI with a test paper consisting of two factors (personal internal factors and personal external factors). The total reliability of the instrument was .932 and the reliability of each factor was analyzed as .857 and .894. Second, for modified STMI, elementary school students responded a 4-factor instrument. Team learning, Shared Vision, and Personal Mastery were derived independent factors, and mental model and systems analysis were derived 1-factor. The total reliability of the instrument was .886 and the reliability of each factor was analyzed as .686 to .864. Finally, a comparison of systems thinking according to preferred subjects showed a significant difference between students who selected science (engineering) group and art (music and physical education). In conclusion, it was confirmed that statistically meaningful results could be obtained using STMI modified by term and sentence structure appropriate for elementary school students, and it is a necessary to study the relation of systems thinking with various student variables such as the preferred subjects.
The objective of the study was to examine the distinct qualities of Dasik containing added silkworm powder. In order to discern the differences in characteristics among samples the silkworm powder was added as at ratios of (0%, 10%, 20%, 30% and 40%), respectively. Measurements for moisture, chromaticity and mechanical and physical properties were performed, in addition to sensory evaluations. The results were as follows. The moisture contents of the Dasik samples changed as the added silkworm powder content increased. A lower L-value resulted as the amount of silkworm powder increased (p<0.05), the a and b values also showed decreasing tendencies. In the texture analysis, hardness increased as the amount of added silkworm powder increased from 0% to 40% (p<0.05). Adhesiveness was highest in the 40% silkworm powder group, and the 30% and 20% groups had the highest springiness values respectively (p<0.05). In terms of sensory quality overall surface color, texture and taste were perceived as superior for the 30% and 20% add silkworm powder groups gumminess was lowest for the 0% group (p<0.05), and overall quality was lowest for the 40% added silkworm powder group. Consequently, there was greater preference for the samples containing less than 40% added silkworm powder, and the 30% treatment had the best overall quality.
Discectomy is the oldest and most commonly performed operation for the painful temporomandibular joint with internal derangement. It is the one operation for which there are longest follow-up study, with Eriksson, Silver, and Tolvanen et al reporting good results in patients about 30 years after discectomy. About 80% to 90% of patients clinically experience relief from pain and dysfunction after discectomy, and interestingly, the results may improve with time. However such as Myrhaug found headache and Poswillo supposed pain and limitation of movement as postoperative complications, even though this operation had the longest follow-up term, several aspects of discectomy remain unclear. The controversies to discectomy for TMJ with pain and dysfunction have laid emphasis only upon clinical results, and then the histomorphological study was planned to evaluate the morphologic change of TMJ after discectomy. To clarify the nature of the change through an observation on the morphologic changes of articular cartilage and subchondral bone of the condyle resulting from experimental unilateral discectomy in rabbit, the author excised the left articular discs of 12 male rabbits(control 4 rabbits), weighing about 3kg, and at 1, 3, 6, 9 weeks following surgery, harvested both(left surgical site and right nonsurgical sits) TMJ. The specimens were examined with light microscope after H-E and MT stain and the obtained results were as follows. 1. Histopathological features showed thickening of articular zone and active proliferation of fibrocartilaginous zone associated with slight proliferative zone in surgical site than control group. Also replacement of chondrocytes in calcified cartilaginous zone into bone cells was observed. 2. There were thinning of thickness of each zone of articular cartilage except calcified cartilagnous zone was observed in nonsurgical site. 3. In MT stain of condylar trabeculae, there was increased calcification in nonsurgical site than control and surgical site and the degree of calcification was similar in surgical site and control group. 4. In both site of experimental group no features of degenerative changes were observed. From the above results, it is presumed that the morphologic changes of surgical site discectomy are compensatory remodeling process characterized by an hyperplastic reaction of the articular zone and fibrocartilaginous zone filling the void created by removing the disc, and the bone changes are secondary to changes in the cartilage. Increased degree of calcification seen in condylar trabeculae of nonsurgical site results from the excessive use of condyle of that site.
Demand for appropriate health care has gradually increased in Korea. In addition, developments of community- and school-based oral health programs have also focused oral health care for the oral health promotion. Especially, school-based oral health programs are the underpinnings of promoting oral health and preventing oral diseases among schoolchildren. School-based oral health programs have had three major components: oral health education, oral health services, and a healthful environments. These included oral health education(one-to-one communication, group communication, and use of mass communication), oral examination, fluoride mouthrinsing, pit-and-fissure sealants, fluoride gel application, mechanical plaque control, and chewing xylitol candy. In this study, we evaluate the effects of oral health programs among primary schoolchildren by comparing the oral health knowledge, oral health behaviors, and perception of caries prevention procedures. Data for this study were obtained from 699 primary schoolchildren at the two primary school in Daegu, Korea. One is experimental group, N primary school, that was established school-based oral health center under supervision of Nam-gu Public Health Center, the other is control group, N' primary school, that was yet to establish school-based oral health center. We surveyed children's oral health knowledge and behaviors, and perception of caries prevention procedures using self-administrated questionnaire and then analyzed differences of each item among two groups. The brief findings of this study were summarized as follows. There are several advantage to a comprehensive school-based oral health program. (1) School-based oral health programs facilitate and increase the effectiveness of teaching oral health subjects. (2) Schoolchildren are available for prevention or treatment procedure. (3) School-based oral health center may be less threating than private dental clinic. (4) With comprehensive school-based oral health programs the decayed, missing, and filled teeth(DMFT) of schoolchildren should demonstrate a substantial and steady decrease over time(Choi et al, 2004). In conclusion, treatment is not the answer to solving children's oral health programs; rather primary prevention is the key. Many countries and communities are focusing on hoe millions of underprivileged children can be provided with health care. Schoolchildren gain the knowledge and behaviors to attain and maintain good oral health in schools. For these reasons, the role of school-based oral health center is not only important but also a necessity.
