During the period from Mar. 1985 to Feb. 1988, airborne particulate matters were collected and size fractionated by the ANdersen high volume air sampler in Seoul. The concentrations of several heavy metals (Pb, Cu, Zn, Fe, Mn) and benzo(a)pyrene were determined to investigate the size distributions and seasonal variations. And with respect to seven components in the total suspended particulate (TSP), the factor analysis was performed for three groups such as the coarse particles (> 2 $\mu$m), fine particles (< $\mu$m) and TSP. As a result of factor analysis by using the varimax method, the chemical components in the TSP were able to characterize with two principal factors. The first factor, F1 was considered to be a factor indicating the contribution of natural sources and the second factor, F2 was a factor indicating the degree of artificial sources. Each components in the TSP was divided into two main groups of components originated from soil and/or road dust and pollutants originated from automobiles and/or human work.
Purpose : Recently, many researchers and golf coachers demonstrated that X-factor and X-factor stretch had a co-relationship with driving distance. However, its relationship is still controversial and ambiguous. Thus, the aim of this study was to examine the relationship among X-factor, X-factor stretch and swing-related factors, including driving distance in elite golfers. Method : Seventeen male elite golfers (handicap: ${\leq}4$) with no history of musculo-skeletal injuries participated in the study. Thirty spherical retro-reflective markers were placed on including the middle point of PSIS, the right/left ASIS, the right/left lateral acromion of the scapula, driver head and shaft grip. All motion capture data was collected at 100Hz using 6 infrared cameras. Carry distance, club speed, ball speed, smash factor, launch angle, and spin rate were collected from radar-based device, TrackMan. Results : Pearson's correlation coefficient method was used to find the correlations among X-factor, X-factor stretch and swing-related factors. Positive correlations between driving distance and other swing-related factors which include club speed(r=.798, p<.001), and ball speed(r=.948, p<.001) were observed. In contrast to the swing-related factors, X-factor and X-factor stretch had no relationship to driving distance. Conclusion : These results indicate that X-factor and X-factor stretch are not key regulators in driving distance.

Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) mediates the cellular antioxidant response, allowing adaptation and survival under conditions of oxidative, electrophilic and inflammatory stress, and has a role in metabolism, inflammation and immunity. Activation of Nrf2 provides broad and long-lasting cytoprotection, and is often hijacked by cancer cells, allowing their survival under unfavorable conditions. Moreover, Nrf2 activation in established human tumors is associated with resistance to chemo-, radio-, and immunotherapies. In addition to cancer cells, Nrf2 activation can also occur in tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) and facilitate an anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive tumor immune microenvironment (TIME). Several cancer cell-derived metabolites, such as itaconate, L-kynurenine, lactic acid and hyaluronic acid, play an important role in modulating the TIME and tumor-TAMs crosstalk, and have been shown to activate Nrf2. The effects of Nrf2 in TIME are context-depended, and involve multiple mechanisms, including suppression of proinflammatory cytokines, increased expression of programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1), macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF) and kynureninase, accelerated catabolism of cytotoxic labile heme, and facilitating the metabolic adaptation of TAMs. This understanding presents both challenges and opportunities for strategic targeting of Nrf2 in cancer.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a saleswomans clothing and store type on elderly female consumers likability to a saleswoman. Also it was to study the effects of the factors consisting likability to a saleswoman on intent to purchase among elderly female consumers. 3(clothing formality: low, medium, and high)$\times$2(clothing style: clothing looking old vs. young)$\times$2(store type: high priced specialty store vs. low priced open market) complete randomized between subjects design using field experiments were conducted. Subjects were 240 elderly females aged 54-69. The results showed that likability to a saleswoman consisted of impression factor, service ability factor and caring factor. There was the significant three way interaction among three independent variables in the service ability factor(F(sub)2,228=15.62, P<.001). Regression Analysis showed that the impression factor($R^2$=0.29, F<.001) and the service ability factor($R^2$=0.06, F<.001) influenced the elderly consumers intention to purchase significantly. In conclusion, favorable appearances of a saleswoman is considered a crucial service quality influencing potential elderly consumers to purchase.

Let a and b be positive integers, and let V (G), (G), and 2(G) be the vertex set of a graph G, the minimum degree of G, and the minimum degree sum of two non-adjacent vertices in V (G), respectively. An even [a, b]-factor of a graph G is a spanning subgraph H such that for every vertex v ∈ V (G), dH(v) is even and a ≤ dH(v) ≤ b, where dH(v) is the degree of v in H. Matsuda conjectured that if G is an n-vertex 2-edge-connected graph such that $n{\geq}2a+b+{\frac{a^2-3a}{b}}-2$, (G) ≥ a, and ${\sigma}_2(G){\geq}{\frac{2an}{a+b}}$, then G has an even [a, b]-factor. In this paper, we provide counterexamples, which are highly connected. Furthermore, we give sharp sufficient conditions for a graph to have an even [a, b]-factor. For even an, we conjecture a lower bound for the largest eigenvalue in an n-vertex graph to have an [a, b]-factor.

The purposes of this study was to provide the fundamental data for children's wear standardizing sizes of ready-made clothes by analyzing the elementary school girls’somatotype. The subjects for anthropometic measurements were 434 elementary school girls’by age groups < ‘(1st age(1ㆍ2 grade)’,‘2nd age(3ㆍ4 grade)’, and 3rd(5ㆍ6 grade)’ > living in Pusan. According to the analysis of upper bodies by the age groups 1. According to the analysis to draw somatometric factors by the age groups, sevenㆍseven and six actors in 1st . End and 3rd age groups are obtained from measurements of upper body. 2. The 1st & 2nd age groups: As the result of factor analysis for the factor, the first and second factors which explain more than 70% of the whole variance represent“horizontal size”and“vertical size”, which characterize more aspects of the body shape of girls at elementary school ages. 3. The 3rd age groups: As the result of factor analysis for the factor, 6 factor which explain 74.39% of variance were extracted form anthropometic data. The first factor represented the items of circumference, breadth and depth related to“sectional size the front length of the upper body”, The second factor described the items of "heights & the back length of the upper body”.
A cell aggregation factor produced by Aspergillus sp. LAM 94-142 was purified and partially characterized. The factor was purified about 15 folds from culture broth by IRA 420 and IRC 120 treatment, 1% NaCl added acetone precipitation, and Sepharose 4B column chromatography with overall yield of 48%. It was heteropolysaccharide consisted of mannose, arabinose, and glucose with a molar ratio, 31:17:2, and its molecular weight was estimated to be about 900,000 daltons by Sepharodse 4B gel filtration method. The optimum pH and temperature was 8 and 40$\circ$C, respectively. The factor was stable in pH range of 3-9 and at 100$\circ$C for 90 min. The cell aggregation activity of the factor was inhibited by the addition of Hg$^{2+}$, Fe$^{2+}$, Cu$^{2+}$, and some polypeptides such as milk casein or hemoglobin. The factor aggregated Bacillus subtilis, B. macerans, B. turingiensis, E. coli, Peudomonas aeruginosa, P. fluorescens, P. malophilia, and weakly aggregated Staphylococcus sp., Sarcina lutea, P. putida and Cryptococcus neoformnans, but it didn't aggregate various strains of Candida sp. and Saccharomyces sp.

The general wavelet transform has profitable property in non-stationary signal analysis specially. The tunable Q-factor wavelet transform is a fully-discrete wavelet transform for which the Q-factor Q and the asymptotic redundancy r, of the transform are easily and independently specified. In particular, the specified parameters Q and r can be real-valued. Therefore, by tuning Q, the oscillatory behavior of the wavelet can be chosen to match the oscillatory behavior of the signal of interest, so as to enhance the sparsity of a sparse signal representation. The TQWT is well suited to fast algorithms for sparsity-based inverse problems because it is a Parseval frame, easily invertible, and can be efficiently implemented. The transform is based on a real valued scaling factor and is implemented using a perfect reconstruction over-sampled filter bank with real-valued sampling factors. The transform is parameterized by its Q-factor and its over-sampling rate, with modest over-sampling rates being sufficient for the analysis/synthesis functions to be well localized. This paper describes filter design of 2D discrete-time wavelet transform for which the Q-factor is easily specified. With the advantage of this transform, perfect reconstruction filter design and implementation for performance improvement are focused in this paper. Hence, the 2D transform can be tuned according to the oscillatory behavior of the image signal to which it is applied. Therefore, application for performance improvement in multimedia communication field was evaluated.
From measured thermal conductivity and modeling by simulation, this study suggests that U-factors are highly related to materials used between steel and polymer. The objective and prospective point of this study are to relate the relationship between the U-factor and the thermal conductivity of the materials used. For the characterization, EDX, SEM, a thermal conductive meter, and computer simulation utility are used to analyze the elemental, surface structural properties, and U-factor with a simulation of the used material between steel and polymer. This study set out to divide the curtain wall system that makes up the envelope into an aluminum frame section and entrance frame section and interpret their thermal performance with U-factors. Based on the U-factor thermal analysis results, the target curtain wall system is divided into fix and vent types. The glass is 24 mm double glazing (6 mm common glass +12 mm Argon +6 mm Low E). The same U-factor of 1.45 W/m2·K is applied. The interpretation results show that the U-factor and total U-value of the aluminum frame section are 1.449 and 2.343 W/m2·K, respectively. Meanwhile, those of the entrance frame section are 1.449 and 2.
