한국형 달 착륙선의 착륙 임무 시나리오 연구

  • 한국형 달 착륙선의 안전하고 효율적인 달 착륙을 위해 임무 시나리오 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 달 착륙은 보통 두 가지 방법이 사용되는데, 지구에서 출발하여 달에 도착한 후 달착륙지에 직접 착륙하는 방법과 달의 주차궤도를 돌다가 달 착륙지에 착륙하는 방법이 있다. 미국의 Surveyor호는 직접 착륙 방법을 사용하였고 아폴로 시리즈는 달 궤도를 공전하다가 착륙하는 방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 두 가지 방법을 모두 사용하여 착륙 임무 시나리오를 시뮬레이션을 수행한 후 장단점을 비교분석하였다. 달 주차궤도를 이용한 착륙은 달고도 100km에서 공전을 하다가 고도 15km까지 하강한 후 Powered descent 단계를 통해 착륙지에 착륙하는데 Powered descent 단계는 다시 감속단계, 접근 단계, 최종 하강 단계로 나뉘어진다. 달 착륙선은 나로우주센터에서 KSLV-2에 실려 2025년에 발사되며, 달 착륙지는 달의 과학적 임무를 고려하여 달 남극 근처로 가정하였다. 달 착륙 시뮬레이션을 통해 달 착륙선의 비행 궤적과 필요한 연료량 계산 등의 정보를 통해 직접 착륙 방법과 달 주차궤도를 이용하는 방법의 장단점을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 인공함양 시설을 설계 및 운영하는 단계에서 설치 예정부지의 자연적 특성(지형, 지질, 기후 등)과 인공적 특성(주입정과 양수정의 거리, 주입량, 양수량 등)은 중요한 인자라고 볼 수 있다. 인공함양 예정 부지의 개념모델을 설정하고 수리전도도와 이격거리(주입정과 양수정의 직선거리)에 대한 민감도 분석을 수행하였다. 인공함양 예정 부지는 충적대수층이며, 인공함양 주입량과 양수량은 $150m^3/day$로 동일하게 설정하였다. HydroGeoSphere 모델링을 통한 민감도 분석은 수리전도도($10^{-1}cm/sec$, $10^{-2}cm/sec$, $10^{-3}cm/sec$, $10^{-4}cm/sec$)와 이격거리(10 m, 50 m, 100 m) 조건에 대해 총 12회 수행하였다. 수리전도도가 $10^{-1}cm/sec$$10^{-2}cm/sec$인 경우의 모델링 결과, 이격거리가 100 m 범위 이내에서는 지하수위 변동이 발생하지 않았다. 수리전도도가 $10^{-3}cm/sec$인 경우의 모델링 결과, 이격거리가 10 m일 때 5 m 이내의 수위하강이 발생하고 영향반경은 약 14 m 정도로 나타났고, 이격거리가 50 m일 때 5 m 이내의 수위하강이 발생하고 영향반경은 약 31 m 정도로 나타났고, 이격거리가 100 m일 때 5 m 이내의 수위하강이 발생하고 영향반경은 약 34 m 정도로 나타났다. 수리전도도가 $10^{-4}cm/sec$인 경우의 모델링 결과, 이격거리가 증가할수록 양수에 의한 수위하강과 영향반경이 증가하였으며, 낮은 수리전도도로 인해 양수로 인한 수두손실을 회복할 수 없었기에 양수정 주변에서 반경 수십 m 이상의 수두하강 영역을 형성하고 주입정 근처에서는 주입속도가 대수층의 투수능력에 비해 상당히 높기 때문에 5 m 정도의 수위상승이 나타났다. 모델링 결과를 분석하여, 수리전도도가 $10^{-3}cm/sec$ 이하이고 이격거리가 10 m 범위 이상인 충적대수층에 $150m^3/day$를 주입하면서 동시에 $150m^3/day$를 양수하는 시스템에서는 지하수위변동이 발생하므로 주입량과 양수량의 조절이 필요하다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, Acousto-Optical tomography is modeled by a linear integral equation and an inverse problem involving a diffusion equation in n-spatial dimensions. We make two-step mathematical model. First, we solve a linear integral equation. Assuming the optical energy fluence rate has been recovered from the previous equation, the absorption coefficient ${\mu}$ is then reconstructed by solving an inverse problem. Numerical experiments are presented for the case n=2. The traditional gradient descent method is used for the numerical simulations. The result of the gradient descent method produces the blurring effect. To get rid of the blurring effect, we suggest the total variation regularization for the minimization problem.

Late Quaternary Sequence Stratigraphy in Kyeonggi Bay, Mid-eastern Yellow Sea (황해 중동부 경기만의 후기 제4기 순차층서 연구)

  • The Yellow Sea has sensitively responded to high-amplitude sea-level fluctuations during the late Quaternary. The repeated inundation and exposure have produced distinct transgression-regression successions with extensive exposure surfaces in Kyeonggi Bay. The late Quaternary strata consist of four seismic stratigraphic units, considered as depositional sequences (DS-1, DS-2, DS-3, and DS-4). DS-1 was interpreted as ridge-forming sediments of tidal-flat and estuarine channel-fill facies, formed during the Holocene highstand. DS-2 consists of shallow-marine facies in offshore area, which was formed during the regression of Marine Isotope Stage (MIS)-3 period. DS-3 comprises the lower transgressive facies and the upper highstand tidal-flat facies in proximal ridges and forced regression facies in distal ridges and offshore area. The lowermost DS-4 rests on acoustic basement rocks, considered as the shallow-marine and shelf deposits formed before the MIS-6 lowstand. This study suggests six depositional stages. During the first stage-A, MIS-6 lowstand, the Yellow Sea shelf was subaerially exposed with intensive fluvial incision and weathering. The subsequent rapid and high amplitude rise of sea level in stage-B until the MIS-5e highstand produced transgressive deposits in the lowermost part of the MIS-5 sequence, and the successive regression during the MIS-5d to -5a and the MIS-4 lowstand formed the upperpart of the MIS-5 sequence in stage-C. During the stage-D, from the MIS-4 lowstand to MIS-3c highstand period, the transgressive MIS-3 sequence formed in a subtidal environment characterized by repetitive fluvial incision and channel-fill deposition in exposed area. The subsequent sea-level fall culminating the last glacial maximum (Stage-E) made shallow-marine regressive deposits of MIS-3 sequence in offshore distal area, whereas it formed fluvial channel-fills and floodplain deposits in the proximal area. After the last glacial maximum, the overall Yellow Sea shelf was inundated by the Holocene transgression and highstand (Stage-F), forming the Holocene transgressive shelf sands and tidal ridges.

Impact Assessment of Climate Change on Disaster Risk in North Korea based on RCP8.5 Climate Change Scenario (RCP8.5 기후변화시나리오를 이용한 기후변화가 북한의 재해위험에 미치는 영향 평가)

  • In this paper, in order to evaluate the impact of future climate change in North Korea, we collected the climate data of each station in North Korea provided by WMO and expanded the lack of time series data. Using the RCP climate change scenario, And the impact of climate change on disasters using local vulnerability to disasters in the event of a disaster. In order to evaluate this, the 11 cities in North Korea were evaluated for Design Rainfall Load, human risk index (HRI), and disaster impact index (DII) at each stage. As a result, Jaffe increased from C grade to B grade in the Future 1 period. At Future 2, North Hwanghae proved to be dangerous as it was, and Gangwon-do and Hwanghae-do provincial grade rose to C grade. In the case of Future 3, Pyongyang City dropped from C grade to D grade, Hamgyong and Gyeongsang City descend from B grade to C grade, Gangwon-do and Jagangdo descend from C grade to D grade and Pyongyang city descend from C grade to D grade. Respectively.

Subjective Evaluation of Transmission Quality on Very high-speed Network (초고속 네트워크 상의 전송 품질에 관한 주관적 평가)

  • 본 논문은 기가비트 네트워크 테스트베드인 JGN상에서 대표적인 스트림형 트래픽인 DV와 MPEG2에 대한 전송 품질의 주관적 평가를 통하여 전송지연과 패킷 손실에 따른 영향이 최종 사용자에게 어떤 영향을 미치는 지를 조사한 것이다. 스트림형 데이터에 대해 음질 측정은 ITU-R BS.1116-1을 기반으로 하고 화질 측정은 ITU-R BT.500-1 을 기반으로 하여 측정하였다, 또한 최종 사용자의 주관적 평가를 얻기 위한 방법으로는 DSCQS 5 단계 평가 방법을 채택하였다. 그 결과 MPEG2 스트림의 경우 네트워크 트래픽 파라미터가 급증하는 54%의 부하율에서 화질과 음질의 평가 등급이 급격히 하강한다는 것을 알 수 있었고 DV의 경우 화질은 MPEG2 와 마찬가지로 54%의 부하율에서 평가 등급이 감소하기 시작하였으나 그 변화정도가 MPEG2 에 비하여 완만한 변화를 보였다. DV 음질의 경우 트래픽 파라미터(RTT, 패킷 손실)와는 큰 연관성을 보이지 않았고 대부분의 측정자들이 보통 수준의 평가등급을 보였다.

The Patterns of Garic and Onion price Cycle in Korea (마늘.양파의 가격동향(價格動向)과 변동(變動)패턴 분석(分析))

  • This study intends to document the existing cyclical fluctuations of garic and onion price at farm gate level during the period of 1966-1986 in Korea. The existing patterns of such cyclical fluctuations were estimated systematically by removing the seasonal fluctuation and irregular movement as well as secular trend from the original price through the moving average method. It was found that the cyclical fluctuations of garic and onion prices repeated six and seven times respectively during the same period, also the amplitude coefficient of cyclical fluctuations showed speed up in recent years. It was noticed that the cyclical fluctuations of price in onion was higher than that of in garic.

Prediction of Battery Performance of Electric Propulsion Lightweight Airplane for Flight Profiles (비행프로파일에 대한 전기추진 경량비행기의 배터리 성능 예측)

  • Electrically powered airplanes can reduce CO2 emissions from fossil fuel use and reduce airplane costs in the long run through efficient energy use. For this reason, advanced aviation countries such as the United States and the European Union are leading the development of innovative technologies to implement the full-electric airplane in the future. Currently, the research and development to convert existing two-seater engine airplanes to electric-powered airplanes are underway domestically. The airplane converted to electric propulsion is the KLA-100, which aims to carry out a 30-minute flight test with a battery pack installed using the engine mounting space and copilot space. The lithium-ion battery installed on the airplane converted to electric propulsion was designed with a specific power of 150Wh/kg, weight of 200kg, and a C-rate 3~4. This study confirmed the possibility of a 30-minute flight with a designed battery pack before conducting a flight test of a modified electrically propelled airplane. The battery performance was verified by dividing the 30-minute flight profile into start/run stage, take-off stage, climbing stage, cruise stage, descending stage, and landing/run stage. The final target of the 30-minute flight was evaluated by calculating the battery capacity required for each stage. Furthermore, the flight performance of the electrically propelled airplane was determined by calculating the flight availability time and navigation distance according to the flight speed.

An Effective Feature Extraction Method for Fault Diagnosis of Induction Motors (유도전동기의 고장 진단을 위한 효과적인 특징 추출 방법)

  • This paper proposes an effective technique that is used to automatically extract feature vectors from vibration signals for fault classification systems. Conventional mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs) are sensitive to noise of vibration signals, degrading classification accuracy. To solve this problem, this paper proposes spectral envelope cepstral coefficients (SECC) analysis, where a 4-step filter bank based on spectral envelopes of vibration signals is used: (1) a linear predictive coding (LPC) algorithm is used to specify spectral envelopes of all faulty vibration signals, (2) all envelopes are averaged to get general spectral shape, (3) a gradient descent method is used to find extremes of the average envelope and its frequencies, (4) a non-overlapped filter is used to have centers calculated from distances between valley frequencies of the envelope. This 4-step filter bank is then used in cepstral coefficients computation to extract feature vectors. Finally, a multi-layer support vector machine (MLSVM) with various sigma values uses these special parameters to identify faulty types of induction motors. Experimental results indicate that the proposed extraction method outperforms other feature extraction algorithms, yielding more than about 99.65% of classification accuracy.

Extraction of Runoff Component from Stage in Tidal River Using Wavelet Transform (Wavelet Transform을 이용한 감조하천 수위자료의 유출성분 추출)

  • This research applied to Wavelet transform that have soft resolution time and frequency area for stage of Hadong2 station in order to extract to discharge component by rainfall and tidal level component by tide. Approximation component(A6) of last level for wavelet decomposition displayed the biggest energy value 87.77%, and detail component(D3) energy value was 10.70% with periodicity of semidiurnal tide type(about 12 hours). Also skewness, kurtosis values of D3 have similar to tidal level of Yeosu. Approximation component(A6), Detail component(D6, D5) for Hadong2 stage was runoff component, and detail component(D4, D3, D2) was tide component according to effect of tide.
