간호사간 직장내 괴롭힘 발생률에 관한 체계적 문헌고찰과 메타분석 (Pooled Prevalence of Workplace Bullying in Nursing: Systematic Review and Meta-analysis)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to estimate the pooled prevalence of workplace bullying among nurses and examine the effect of moderate factors. Methods: Studies that assessed nursing workplace bullying using the negative act questionnaire developed by Einarsen et al. were searched for in 8 databases. The pooled prevalence was calculated with overall event rate and meta-ANOVA was performed for subgroup analysis. A funnel plot and Egger's linear regression asymmetry test were performed to confirm the publication bias of meta-analyzed studies. Results: A total of 23 studies (N=11,748) were included in the systematic review, and 14 studies (N=4,585) that reported prevalence using operational criteria of victim were selected for meta-analysis. The pooled prevalence of workplace bullying was 22.2% (95% CI: 19.0~25.7). Domestic studies reported lower prevalence than international studies (18.6% vs. 27.0%, Q=8.75, p=.003). The prevalences were different according to publication year (30.6% in 2008~2010, 19.5% in 2011~2014, 21.8% in 2015, Q=11.89, p=.003). Studies that recruited only new nurses reported higher prevalence than others (28.4% vs. 20.6%, Q=3.92, p=.048). Publication bias was not found. Conclusions: Workplace bullying is prevalent in the nursing profession, and is more serious for new graduate nurses. Individual and organizational measures for preventing workplace bullying among nurses need to be sought.

팽창질석에 의한 수용액내의 구리 제거능 평가 (Evaluation of Removal Properties of Cu(II) from Aqueous Solutions by Inflated Vermiculites)

  • 본 연구는 팽창질석을 사용하여 수용액 상의 구리이온 흡착 제거능을 평가 하고자 하였다. 질석의 화학적 조성분석은 XRF, 구리이온 농도분석은 UV-VIS를 각각 사용하여 이루어졌다. 수용액 상의 구리이온의 제거양상을 살펴보기 위해 batch kinetic test와 batch sorption test가 실시되었고, 그 결과 구리의 제거속도($K_{obs}$, 1/hr)는 초기pH 3일때 0.73, pH 4일때 1.52, pH 5일때 1.71였고 초기농도가 $1mg\;L^{-1}$ 일때 3.19, 5일때 1.90, 10일때 0.73으로 초기구리농도와 반비례하고 초기 pH와는 비례하여 증가하는 양상을 보였다. 하지만 초기용액의 농도차이보다 초기pH의 영향이 지배적일 것이라는 예상하에 동일한 농도에 pH만 달리하여 실험해본 결과 역시 예상대로 pH에 따라 제거속도가 크게 차이남을 알 수 있었다. 최종적으로 batch sorption test를 통해 얻은 결과를 각각 Freundlich와 Langmuir 등온흡착식에 대입한 결과 두 식 모두 양호한 fitting 결과를 얻을 수 있었으나 Freundlich 식의 결정계수가 0.965로 Langmuir 식의 결정계수 0.936보다 좀 더 높게 나타나 좀 더 정확한 fitting 결과를 보여주었다. Langmuir 모델로부터 얻은 최대흡착용량($Q_{max}$), Freundlich 모델의 분배계수, n 값은 각각 $1,250mg\;kg^{-1}$, $635.1L\;kg^{-1}$, 1.69였다. 이러한 결과는 팽창질석이 다양한 형태의 수용액 상에 존재하는 구리이온을 효과적으로 제거할 수 있음을 보여준다.

운동이 중년이후 여성의 골밀도에 미치는 효과에 대한 메타 분석 (A Meta Analysis on the Effects of Exercise on Bone Mineral Density among Middle-aged and Older Women)

  • Purpose: This study was to examine the effectiveness of exercise for bone mineral density (BMD). Methods: Four investigators reviewed English articles from Pub Med and CINAHL, selecting randomized controlled trials on exercise programs for middle-aged and older women. Out of 25 studies identified, 14 that satisfied with the inclusion criteria were included in the meta-analysis. The quality of the studies was assessed using recognized methods and the effect size was calculated as a Hedges'g using Comprehensive Meta-analysis Version 2.0. Primary outcomes were changes in BMD at femoral neck, trochanter, and lumbar spine. Subgroup analysis included changes in BMD according to exercise style. Results: Weight bearing exercise was effective(Q=20.1, p>.05, ES=0.32), and resistance exercise was effective in case of comparing to pre and post intervention (Q=4.15, p=.98, ES=0.14). At the femoral neck, 9 study groups were homogeneous and the experimental groups demonstrated a positive effect on BMD (Q=19.5, p>.05, ES=0.33). In contrast, marked heterogeneity (Q=33.3, p<0.01) was apparent in 7 study groups evaluating trochanter. Conclusion: These findings suggest that weight bearing is effective for BMD of the femoral neck, and is relevant to the non-pharmacological treatment of bone loss for middle-aged and older women.

Purification and Characterization of a Thermostable ${\beta}-1$,3-1,4-Glucanase from Laetiporus sulphureus var. miniatus

  • A ${\beta}-1$,3-1,4-glucanase from the fungus Laetiporus sulphureus var. miniatus was purified as a single 26 kDa band by ammonium sulfate precipitation, HiTrap Q HP, and UNO Q ion-exchange chromatography, with a specific activity of 29 U/mg. The molecular mass of the native enzyme was 52 kDa as a dimer by gel filtration. ${\beta}-1$,3-1,4-Glucanase showed optimum activity at pH 4.0 and $75^{\circ}C$. The half-lives of the enzyme at $70^{\circ}C$ and $75^{\circ}C$ were 152 h and 22 h, respectively. The enzyme showed the highest activity for barley ${\beta}$-glucan as ${\beta}-1$,3-1,4-glucan among the tested polysaccharides and p-nitrophenyl-${\beta}$-D-glycosides with a $K_m$, of 0.67 mg/ml, a $k_{cat}$ of 13.5 $S^{-1}$ and a $k_{cat}/K_m$ of 20 mg/ml/s.

내·외측 Wedge와 넙다리네갈래근 각의 차이가 안쪽빗넓은근/가쪽넓은근 비에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Medial, Lateral Wedge and Difference of Quadriceps Angle on Vastus Medialis Oblique/Vastus Lateralis Muscle Activity Ratios)

  • Patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) is often attributed to malalignment and maltracking of patella within the patellofemoral joint. Most exercise for PFPS has focused on selectively strengthening the vastus medialis oblique muscle (VMO). This study was designed to identify the effect of medial, lateral wedge and difference of Quadriceps angle (Q-angle) on vastus medialis oblique/vastus lateralis muscle (VL) activity ratios. The subjects were twenty young adult males who had not experienced any knee injury. They were asked to perform isometric contraction exercises in three postures using medial and lateral wedge. The EMG activity of the VL and VMO were recorded in three postures by surface electrodes and normalized by %MVC values derived from seated, isometric knee extensions. The normalized EMG activity levels (%MVC) of the VL and VMO for the three postures of the lower extremities were compared using 2-way repeated measures ANOVA with 1 between-subject factor (group), and 1 within-subject factor (wedge). Results of repeated measures of ANOVA's revealed that the medial wedge isometric contraction exercise produced significantly greater EMG activity of VMO/VL ratios in Group I (Q-angle $18^{\circ}$ or less) (p<.05). But, the medial wedge isometric contraction exercise was no significant difference of VMO/VL ratios in Group II (Q-angle $19^{\circ}$ or more) (p>.05). These results have important implications for selective VMO muscle strengthening exercises in PFPS patients.

The Efficacy of Enhanced Growth by Ectopic Expression of Ghrelin and Its Variants Using Injectable Myogenic Vectors

  • Ghrelin is an acylated peptide recently identified as the endogenous ligand for the growth hormone (GH) secretagogues receptor 1a (GHS-R1a) and is involved in a novel system for regulating GH release. To understand the long-term effects of ghrelin, here we constructed six myogenic expression vectors containing the cDNA of swine mature ghrelin (pGEM-wt-sGhln, pGEM-wt-hGhln), ghrelin mutant of $Ser^3$ with $Trp^3$ (pGEM-mt-sGhln, pGEM-mt-hGhln) and truncated ghrelin derivative (pGEM-tmtsGhln, pGEM-tmt-hGhln) encompassing the first 7 residues of ghrelin (including $Ser^3$ substituted with $Trp^3$) and adding a basic amino acid, Lys (K) in the C-terminus. The constructs, pGEM-wt-sGhln, pGEM-mt-sGhln and pGEM-tmt-sGhln were linked with the ghrelin leader sequence, while the pGEM-wt-hGhln, pGEM-mt-hGhln and pGEM-tmt-hGhln were linked with a leader sequence from the human growth hormone releasing hormone (hGHRH). Intramuscular injection of 200 ${\mu}g$ pGEM-wt-sGhln or pGEM-tmt-sGhln augmented growth over 3 weeks in normal rats and peaked at day 21 or 14 post-injection respectively, whose body weight gains were on average approximately 6% or 19% heavier over controls. However, other injectable vectors had no such enhanced growth effects. Our results suggested that the efficacy of the ghrelin leader sequence was more effective than that of hGHRH in our system. Moreover, the results indicated that skeletal muscle might have the ability to posttranslationally modify the in vivo expressed ghrelin. And the most strikingly, the short ghrelin analog seems to mimic the biological effects more efficiently when compared with the full-length ghrelin.

  • 0.96$(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3$-0.04$(Ba_{(1-x)}Sr_x)TiO_3$ lead free piezoelectric ceramics were synthesized to enhance the piezoelectric properties of (Na,K)$NbO_3$. The systhesis and sintering method were the conventional solid state reaction method and general sintering method in air atmosphere. The polymorphic phase transition(PPT) was observed at all composition(0 $\leq$ x $\leq$ 0.05) when $(Ba_{(1-x)}Sr_x)TiO_3$ were added in the $(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3$. As Sr concentration was increased, grain size, dielectric loss(tan$\delta$) and mechanical quality factor($Q_m$) were decreased and piezoelectric constant($d_{33}$) and electromechanical coupling factor($k_p$) were increased within a limited value. The optimized piezoelectric and properties, $d_{33}$, $k_p$, $Q_m$, and tand, of 0.96$(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3$-0.04$(Ba_{(1-x)}Sr_x)TiO_3$ were 139 pC/N, 0.31 %, 95, 0.04 at the composition of x=0.04.

몽고말의 적혈구항원형 및 혈액단백질형 분석 (Analysis of Redcell and Blood Protein Typing in Mongolian Horse)

  • 제주말의 혈통보존을 위한 기초자료를 마련할 목적으로 국내에서 사육중인 몽고말 19두를 대상으로 적혈구항원형 및 혈액단백질형의 표현형 분포와 유전자 빈도를 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 적혈구항원형의 표현형은 $A^af$(42.1%), $C^a$(89.5%), $K^-$((84.2%), $U^a$(63.2%), $P^a$(42.1%) $P^-$(42.1%), $Q^c$(31.6%), $Q^-$(31.6%)에서 높은 빈도를 나타냈으며 적혈구항원형 D 시스템의 유전자형은 $D^cgm/dghm$ (15.8%), $D^dghm/dghm$(15.8%), $D^ad/dghm$(10.5%), $D^ade/dghm$ (10.5%)가 높은 빈도 순으로 관찰되었다. 혈액단백질형 7개의 좌위에서는 $AL^{AB}$(52.6%), $AIB^K$( (89.5%), $ES^I$(63.2%), $GC^F$(78.9%), $HB^{BI}$(68.4%),$PGD^F$(84.2%), $TF^{F1R}I$(21.1%), $TF^{F2R}I$(21.1%)로 높은 빈도를 보였으며, $HB^{A2B2}I$(5.3%), $PGD^{DS}I$(5.3%)가 특이하게 관찰되었다. 적혈구항원형의 유전자 빈도를 조사한 결과 $A^a$(0.4211), $C^a$(0.8947), $K^-$(0.8421), $U^a$(0.6316), $P^a$ (0.4474), $Q^c$(0.4474), $D^{dghm}$(0.4211)로 가장 높은 빈도를 보였으며, 혈액단백질형 7개 좌위에 대해서 유전자 빈도를 조사한 결과 $AL^B$(0.6579), $AIB^K$(0.9211), $ES^I$(0.7895), $GC^F$(0.8947), $HB^BI$ (0.7895), $PGD^F$(0.8421), $TF^R$(0.3421)가 높은 빈도로 관찰되었다.

  • 운동종목별(運動種目別) 선수(選手)들의 심기능(心機能)을 비교(比較)하기 위하며 운동경력(運動經歷)이 3년이상(年以上)이 된 고등학교(高等學校)의 투척(投擲)(7명), 도약(跳躍)(11명), 단거리(短距離)(8명), 장거리(長距離)(14명), 권투(拳鬪)(7명), 배구(排球)(8명) 및 야구(野球)(9명) 선수(選手)와 비선수(非選手)(19명)들의 안정시(安靜時)심전도상(心電圖上)에 나타난 시간간격(時間間隔), 파고(波高) 및 vector를 비교(比較) 분석(分析)하였다. 안정시(安靜時)의 R-R(간격)間隔은 각종목별(各種目別) 선수(選手)들은$0.96{\sim}1.09$ 초(秒)로 비선수군(非選手群)의 0.78초(秒)에 비(比)해 유의(有意)한 서맥(徐脈)을 보여주었다. R-R간격(間隔)은 P-R, Q-T 및 T-P간격(間隔)의 합(合)으르 나타나는데, P-R 및 Q-T간격(間隔)은 각(各 선수군(選手群)과 비선수군간(非選手群間)에 차이(差異)가 없었으나 T-P간격(間隔)은 도약(跳躍), 단거리(短距離), 장거리(長距離) 및 권투선수(拳鬪選手)들에서 비선수군(非選手群)보다 유의(有意)하게 높았다. R-R간격(間隔)은 T-P 및 Q-T간격(間隔)과 유의(有意)한 상관관계(相關關係)가 있었으나 P-R 및 QRS간격(間隔)과는 상관관계(相關關係)가 없었다. 심전도(心電圖)의 파고(波高)를 비교(比較)해 보면 lead $V_5$에서의 P파고(波高)$(Pv_5)$는 비선수군(非選手群)에 비(比)해서 각종목(各種目) 선수군(選手群)이 전반적(全般的)으로 낮은 경향(傾向)을 보여주었고, 특(特)히 투척(投擲) 및 도약선수군(跳躍選手群)은 유의(有意)하게 낮았다. T파고(波高)$(Tv_5)$는 투척선수군(投擲選手群)이 비선수군(非選手群)보다 유의(有意)하게 낮았으나 다른 선수군(選手群)들은 차이(差異)가 없었다. R파고(波高)$(Rv_5)$는 장거리선수군(長距離選手群)을 제외(除外)한 다른 종목선수(種目選手)들과 비선수(非選手)사이에 차이(差異)가 없었다. 장거리선수군(長距離選手群)의 $(Rv_5)$파고(波高)는 비선수(非選手)뿐만 아니라 다른 종목선수군(種目選手群)보다도 유의(有意)하게 높았다. Lead $V_1$에서의 S파고(波高)$(Sv_1)$는 선수군(選手群)과 비선수군(非選手群)사이에 차이(差異)가 없었다. $Rv_5$$Sv_1$파고(波高)의 합(合)은 장거리선수군(長距離選手群)만이 다른 종목선수군(種目選手群)들이나 비선수군(非選手群)보다 유의(有意)하게 높았으며 다른 선수군(選手群)들은 비선수군(非選手群)과 차이(差異)가 없었다. 심전도(心電圖)의 vector를 비교(比較)해 보면 P, QRS, T축(軸)의 각도(角度)는 frontal 및 horizontal plane 상(上)에서 각선수군(各選手群)과 비선수군(非選手群)사이에 차이(差異)가 없었다. P vector의 길이는 각선수군(各選手群)이 비선수(非選手)보다 낮은 경향(傾向) 나타냈으며, 특(特)히 horizontal plane에서 투척(投擲), 도약(跳躍), 단거리(短距離) 및 야구선수(野球選手)들이 비선수군(非選手群)보다 유의(有意)하게 낮았다. QRS와 T vector의 길이는 선수군(選手群)과 비선수군간(非選手群間)에 차이(差異)가 없었고, 야구선수(野球選手)만이 frontal plane에서 QRS vector의 길이가 비선수군(非選手群)보다 높았다. 이상(以上)의 결과(結果)를 종합(綜合)해 보면 각종목(各種目) 운동선수군(運動選手群) 전반(全般)은 비선수(非選手)보다 유의(有意)한 서맥(徐脈)을 나타내며 이는 주로 T-P 간격(間隔)이 길기 때문이다. 파고(波高)의 높이와 vector를 비교(比較)해 볼때 각종목(各種目) 운동선수(運動選手)는 전반적(全般的)으로 비선수군(非選手群)보다 P파(波)가 낮았다. 특(特)히 장거리선수군(長距離選手群)은 다른 종목(種目) 선수군(選手群)이나 비선수군(非選手群)보다 $Rv_5$$Sv_1$파고(波高)의 합(合)이 유의(有意)하게 높았으므로 좌심실(左心室)이 비대(肥大)해 있음을 알 수 있다. 이는 장거리선수(長距離選手)들이 다른 종목선수(種目選手)들에 비(比)해 더 우수(優秀)한 스포츠심장(心臟)임을 시사(示唆)해 주고 있다.

알츠하이머병에 관한 건강정보 이해력 측정도구 개발 및 평가: 농촌 노인을 대상으로 (Development and Evaluation of Health Literacy Instrument for Alzheimer's Disease: Case of Older Adults in Rural Areas)

  • Purpose: This study develops a health literacy instrument for Alzheimer's disease. Methods: Items were drawn from The Korean version of the Alzheimer's Disease Knowledge Scale (ADKS) and the Korean version of European Health Literacy Survey Questionnaire (HLS-EU-Q47 & HLS-EU-Q16). Content validity was tested by experts. To further refine the questionnaires and test their reliability and validity, data were collected from 324 older adults in the community. Results: Five significant items in the two subscales were derived from the factor analysis. The subscales were named access and understanding. Reliability was good at Cronbach's ⍺ .79, and validity through exploratory factor analysis was KMO .897, p<.001, which was found to be high and significant. Conclusion: The instrument demonstrated high reliability and validity. Therefore, this instrument can contribute to the evaluation of health literacy for Alzheimer's Disease in older adults and to any subsequent intervention, as well as to develop a theory for health literacy for Alzheimer's Disease.
