The information of ocean topology is the fundamental source which is necessary for understanding the ocean, producing nautical charts and delimiting maritime boundaries. An echo sounder is being used generally to collect undersea bathymetric data, but an indirect method such as geophysical data acquired by satellites is being used recently. In this study, the outputs of ocean surveying for the production of the Basic Maps of the Sea in 1996 and 1997 in the East Sea and the bathymetric data produced by geophysical data are compared and analyzed. The study areas are Ulleung Plateau, Ulleung Basin and the southern area of Ulleung Basin which have different geophysical characteristics. Through this study, we found that the bathymetric data acquired by an indirect method using satellite is similar to the field surveying results in general configuration of ocean floor and average depth. However, the minimum square error is about 100m in 1700m depth, and it has been observed a local error up to 1000m. In addition, it has been found that the detailed undulation of ocean topology is shown on the gravity data which is acquired by the research vessel.
Twenty isolates of Bacillus spp. obtained from livestock manure composts and cotton-waste composts were tested for in vitro antagonistic effects against soilborne plant pathogenic fungi, Fusarium oxysporum, Phytophthora capsici, Rhizoctonia solani AG-4, and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. Seven isolates of Bacillus spp. had antagonistic effects on mycelial growth of all the isolates of F. oxysporum tested. The bacterial isolate RM43 was the most effective to inhibit the mycelial growth of the fungal isolates. Twelve isolates of Bacillus spp. had antagonistic effects on mycelial growth of all the isolates of P. capsici tested. The bacterial isolates M34 and M47 were very effective to inhibit the mycelial growth of the fungal isolates. Thirteen isolates of Bacillus spp. had antagonistic effects on mycelial growth of all the isolates of R. solani AG-4 tested. The bacterial isolates M27 and M75 were very effective to inhibit the mycelial growth of the fungal isolates. Fourteen isolates of Bacillus sp. had antagonistic effects on mycelial growth of all the isolates of S. sclerotiorum tested. The bacterial isolates M49 and M75 were very effective to inhibit the mycelial growth of the fungal isolates. The antagonistic effects of most Bacillus spp. isolates against the isolates of the four fungi differed depending on the fungal species and the isolates of each fungus. The bacterial isolates M27 and M75 were the most effective to inhibit the mycelial growth of all four fungi.
Objective: The objective of this study is to determine the practice and associated factors of HPV vaccine among school girls in Melaka, Malaysia. The prevalence of HPV vaccination was 77.9% among school girls in Melaka. The majority of the participants were vaccinated in their schools (77.0%). About 69% knew about cervical cancer and 77.6% had ever heard about HPV vaccine. Regarding the factors that influence the practice of uptake HPV vaccine, they were age, race, income, parents' education, knowledge about cervical cancer, heard about HPV vaccine and place of getting the vaccine (p<0.001). Conclusions: The prevalence of HPV vaccine among school girls is high. Age, race, income, parents' education, knowledge about cervical cancer, heard about HPV vaccine and place of getting the vaccine were the significant factors that influence the practice of uptake HPV vaccine among school girls.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of circuit weight training(CWT) on isokinetic muscle strength and body composition in elderly. The subjects who engaged in this experiment exercised at $40\%$ of 1-RM, 12 repetitions, followed by 15 sec as the subject moved to the each break training program which was consist of the circuit of 10 stations performed on 3 set a day, circuits 3 days a week during 10 weeks. The assessment of isokinetic factor was in concentric flexors and extensors of right and left knee joint. Tests were performed on the Cybex 770 Isokinetic Dynamometer and body composition were estimated the three parts of chest, abdomen and anterior thigh by using skinfold caliper, calculated the average and followed by Seri and Brozek way. Statistical analysis were performed using analysis of variance paired t-test, accepting level for all significant was above ${\alpha}=.05$ and ${\alpha}=.01$. Following is as a result of 10 weeks circuit weight training. 1. At the $60_{\circ}$ /sec, the right and left knee isokinetic concentric flexors and extensors peak torque increased significantly(p<.01). 2. At the $180_{\circ}$ /sec, the right and left knee isokinetic concentric flexors and extensors peak torque increased significantly(p<.01). 3. At the $60_{\circ}$ /sec, the right and left knee isokenetic concentric flexors and extensors average power increased significantly(p<.05, p<.01) and at the $180_{\circ}$ /sec, the right extensors didn't show any statistical significant. 4. At the $60_{\circ}$ /sec, the right and left knee Isokinetic concentric flexors and extensors total work increased significantly(p<.05, p<.01) but at the $180_{\circ}$ /sec right concentric flexors didn't show any statistical significant. 5. The body composition changed significantly(p<.01). These results suggest that 10 weeks circuit weight training increases the peak torque, average power, total work significantly and decreases the $\%$body fat significantly.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the trunk motion and knee joint moment during deep stand to sit and sit to stand according to the trunk weight increase. These experimental subjects were 9 males, who had no skeletal muscular disease. They were performed a SATS(stand to sit), STS(sit to stand) according to the trunk weight increase. Trunk weight increase were classified into 4 bearing trunk weight of 0%, 8%, 16%, 24% of the subject' weight. 1-way(4) RM ANOVA is applied to get the difference of trunk displacement movements and knee joint moments according to he trunk weight increase. significant level of each experiment is set as $\alpha$=.05. 1. Significant difference was classified into 3 bearing trunk weight of 0%, 16%, 24% in maximum forward backward displacement of trunk COM(center of mass). Significant difference was classified into 4 bearing trunk weight of 0%, 8%, 16%, 24% in maximum upward downward displacement of trunk COM during the SATS, STS. 2. Significant difference was classified into 4 bearing trunk weight of 0%, 8%, 16%, 24% in maximum extension knee joint moment. Significant difference was classified into 2 bearing trunk weight of 0%, 16% in maximum internal rotation knee joint moment during the SATS, STS. Therefore we expect that biomechanical model of this study will used to study for mechanical characteristics of obese people.
Nanocomposite of Te doped $SiO_2$ films was prepared for the new functional materials like non-linear optic materials, selective absorption and transmission films. The effects of particle size and morphology with different hydrolysis conditions on the properties were examined with TGA/DTA. XRD. UV-spectrometer, SPM, SEM and EDS. It was found that Te/$SiO_2$ films showed high absorption peak at 550nm visible region by plasma resonance of Te fine particles. The Rm surface roughness of the films was about 2.5 nm and the size of Te particles was 5~10nm.

We investigated the gametogenic cycle and spawning seasons of the male Chlamys (Azumapecten) farreri nipponensis by qualitative and quantitative analyses, and also the size at 50% of group sexual maturity was calculated by the data of first sexual maturity. In this study, the male gametogenic cycle of this species by qualitative analysis was divided into five successive stages: early active stage (January to March), late active stage (March to April), ripe stage (April to August), partially spawned stage (July to September), and spent/inactive stage (August to January). The male gametogenic cycle showed similar patterns with monthly changes in the gonadosomatic index and condition index. Particularly, spawning in male scallop occurred once a year from July to September, unlike the spawning period of this species (from June to August) reported by the previous researchers. In quantitative statistical analysis using an image analyzer system, the patterns of monthly changes in the percent (%) of the areas occupied by spermatogenic stages to the testis areas in males showed a maximum in June, and then sharply dropped from July to September, 2006. From these data, it is apparent that the spawning season of C. (A.) farreri nipponensis occurred once per year from July to early September, indicating a unimodal gametogenic cycle during the year. Shell heights at 50% of group sexual maturity (RM50) fitted to an exponential equation were estimated to be 49.90 mm in males (considered to be one year old), and it was 100% for male scallops over 61.0 mm (considered to be two years old).

Identification of humans from multiple view points is an important task for surveillance and security purposes. For optimal performance the system should use the maximum information available from sensors. Multimodal biometric systems are capable of utilizing more than one physiological or behavioral characteristic for enrollment, verification, or identification. Since gait alone is not yet established as a very distinctive feature, this paper presents an approach to fuse face and gait for identification. In this paper we will use the single camera case i.e both the face and gait recognition is done using the same set of images captured by a single camera. The aim of this paper is to improve the performance of the system by utilizing the maximum amount of information available in the images. Fusion in considered at decision level. The proposed algorithm is tested on the NLPR database.

This paper presents a wide dynamic range radio-frequency (RF) root-mean-square (RMS) power detector using an automatic gain control (AGC) loop. The AGC loop consists of a variable gain amplifier (VGA), RMS conversion block and gain control block. The VGA exploits dB-linear gain characteristic of the cascade VGA. The proposed circuit utilizes full-wave squaring and generates a DC voltage proportional to the RMS of an input RF signal. The proposed RMS power detector operates from 500MHz to 5GHz. The detecting input signal range is from 0 dBm to -70 dBm or more with a conversion gain of -4.53 mV/dBm. The proposed RMS power detector is designed in a 65-nm 1.2-V CMOS process, and dissipates a power of 5 mW. The total active area is $0.0097mm^2$.
Objective: The aim of this study was to suggest correct and effective way of squat through biomechanical analysis variables on the change of the toe-out angle. Method: 7 high school male weightlifter (age: $17.57{\pm}0.53yrs$, height: $174.0{\pm}3.93cm$, weight: $81.0{\pm}9.17kg$, 1RM: $164.29{\pm}20.7kg$) participated in this study. Results: Angle of the hip joint at E2 was smaller than toe-out angle was in $20^{\circ}$ than in $0^{\circ}$ (p<.05). Angular velocity of the foot joint at E1 and E3 was quicker that in $10^{\circ}$ than in $30^{\circ}$ (p<.05). Anterior-posterior stability index was greater that toe-out angle was in $30^{\circ}$ than in $0^{\circ}$ (p<.05). In average iEMG of flexion phase, VM of right, left leg showed high activity at toe-out angle $30^{\circ}$. In average iEMG of flexion phase, extension phase and in peak iEMG, RF of right leg, VM and VL of left leg showed high activity at all of the toe-out angles. In average iEMG of flexion phase, extension phase and in peak iEMG, all of the muscles activity of right leg showed high in $10^{\circ}$ and low in $0^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$. Conclusion: It is judged that setting the toe-out angle $10^{\circ}$ in squat help to efficiently use muscles and ensure stability.
