A thermophilic bacterium producing the extracellular cellulase was isolated from soybean paste, and the isolate WL-12 has been identified as Bacillus licheniformis on the basis on its 16S rRNA sequence, morphology and biochemical properties. A gene encoding the cellulase of B. licheniformis WL-12 was cloned and its nucleotide sequence was determined. This cellulase gene, designated celA, consisted of 1,551 nucleotides, encoding a polypeptide of 517 amino acid residues. The gene product contained catalytic domain and cellulose binding domain. The deduced amino acid sequence was highly homologous to those of cellulases of B. licheniformis, B. subtilis and B. amytoliquefaciens belonging to the glycosyl hydrolase family 5. When the celA gene was highly expressed using a strong B. subtilis promoter, the extracellular cellulase was produced up to 7.0 units/ml in B. subtilis WB700.

Intraspecific sequence variation was detected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and direct sequencing of a 350-nucleotide region of the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene of two natural populations (Han River and Nakdong River) and one hatchery stock (Jinhae Inland Fisheries Institute) of local strain common carp, one Israeli strain of common carp stock from Pukyong National University (PKU), and one hybrid between Israeli strain of common carp female and local strain common carp male from PKU stock. There is little variation in 350 bases of the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene sequences among 2 natural and 1 hatchery local strain common carp populatins, representing abut 7 to 20 nucleotide differences (less than 6%). The sequence of specimens from Han River was more similar to that from Nakdong River (identity=98.0%) than to that from Jinhae Inland Fisheries Institute (identity=96.3%). Sequence variation between Israeli strain and wild local strain common carp was higher than the variation within natural stocks. The level of variation was ranged from 15.7 to 17.7%. The hybrid showed very similar nucleotide4 sequence of 12S rRNA gene to the sequence of Israeli strain with the identity of 98.9%.

To improve temperature stability, 0.05Pb(SnS11/2TSbS11/2T)OS13T-0.35PbTiOS13T-0.60PbZrOS13T+0.4[wt%]MnO S12T piezoelectic ceramics were manufactured with the addition of CrS12TOS13T by Hot Press method. And the SAW delay line was fabricated and effects of CrS12TOS13T to the propagation characteristics of SAW was investigated, and the SAW filter was fabricated on C4 specimen added by 0.2[wt%] CrS12TOS13T whose propagation characteriatics of surface acoustic wave were the bast and its frequency characteristics was investigated. Electromechancal coupling factor(kS1sTS02T) was 3.11[%] and its temperature coefficient of the center frequency(CS1foT)was -21.27[ppm/$^{\circ}C$] in C4. The 31[MHz]]SAW IF filter of C4 scarcely had diffraction phenomena and therefore it was proper.

In this study, the structural and microwave dilelectric properties of 0.15BaO-0.15SmS12TOSI3T-0.7TiOS12T ceramics with sintering and annealing conditions were investigated. In the specimen sintered at 1350 [$^{\circ}C$], dielectric constant and quality factor were good values of 80.19,2006 (fS10T=4.6851[GHz]). To improve the $\tau$S1fT of specimen which was manufactured by the optimumsintering condition (1350[$^{\circ}C$],2[Hr.]), annealed from 2[hr.] to 16[hr.] at the annealing temperature of 1200 [$^{\circ}C$]. Increasing the annealing time, dielectric constant was almost constant and quality factor was increased. In the specimen of 4[hr.] annealed, the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency was minimum value, and increased with increasing the annealing time.

The BiPbSrCaCuO superconductor was fabricated by diffusion of The dual layer composed of SrS12TCaS11TCuS12TOS1xT in upper layer and BiS12TPbSI0.3TCuS12TOS1yT in lower layer, and varified growh-mechanism of BiPbSrCaCuO superconducting phase. And, we produced optimum conditions of spread volume and each stage of sintering time were upper layer:Lower layer=1:0.2, 1:0.4, 1:0.6 and 24hr., 120hr., 210hr. From the result, the optimum conditions are spread volume(Upper layer:Lower layer=1:0.6), sintering time(210hrs.) at 820$^{\circ}C$.The BiPbSrCaCuO superconductor, fabricated optimum condition, showed zero resistance at critical temperature of 70k.

Intestinal malrotation presents with different clinical characteristics, depending upon the age of the patient. The medical records of 44 patients treated for intestinal malrotation with/without midgut volvuls between January 2002 and August 2009 at Seoul National University Children's Hospital were reviewed retrospectively. Patients were grouped by the age criteria of 1 and 12 months. Fourteen patients were under 1 month of age (31.8 %), 9 patients between 1 month and 12 months (20.5 %) and 21 patients over 12 months (47.7 %). Twenty patients (45.5 %) presented with volvulus. Vomiting (66 %) and abdominal pain (20 %) were the most common symptoms. UGIS (68.2 %) was the most frequent diagnostic tool. Mean postoperative hospital stay was 13.7 days. There were 7 mild postoperative complications. Volvulus was more frequent in patients under 1 month (p=0.025) than over 1 month. The interval between diagnosis and operation was shorter in patients under 1 month (p=0.003) than in patients over one month of age. In the age between under and over 12 months, volvulus was more common in those under 12 months of age, but the difference was not significant. The interval from diagnosis to operation was shorter in patients under 12 months than over 12 months of age (p=0.001). Vomiting was the most frequent symptom in patients under 12 months. On the other hand, abdominal pain was the most frequent symptom in patients over 12 months. In conclusion, patients with intestinal malrotation had age-related differences in the presence of midgut volvulus, the interval between diagnosis and operation, and clinical symptoms. The age of the patient should be considered in order to determine adequate treatment of malrotation.

The Calcium-aluminate electride thin films on the quartz substrates was coated by sol-gel process. The crystallization of the C12A7 thin film was observed at $800^{\circ}C$ and high density C12A7 thin film was achieved on heat treatment at $1,200^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour. The reduction heat treatment of C12A7 thin film could be converted from insulator to conductor and the electrical conductivity was 120 S/cm in the C12A7 thin film heat treated at $1,200^{\circ}C$ with $H_2$ gas for 48 hours.

The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the body composition, muscle circumference, and muscle activity of men in their 30s and 50s when the resistance exercise program was applied for 12 weeks, and to provide basic data for the preparation of the resistance exercise program for middle-aged men before entering old age. Nine men in their 30s and eleven 11 men in their 50s participated in the moderate intensity resistance exercise program for 12 weeks. Two weeks before the experiment, body composition, muscle circumference, and EMG were pre-tested, and then body composition and muscle circumference were additionally measured at the 8th week. Body composition, muscle circumference, and EMG were measured within 2 weeks after the 12 week exercise program. The measured data were compared and analyzed by Mixed design two-way ANOVA, and the following results were obtained. The body composition showed a significant difference only in the skeletal muscle mass, and it increased in the 30s group at 8 weeks. Muscle circumference did not show significant difference according to group and time. Muscle activity showed a significant difference according to group and time, and pectoralis major and triceps brachii showed a significant decrease to 30s group. The pectoralis major was higher in the 30s group at all times. In summary, when applying a 12-week resistance exercise program for young men and middle-aged men, the effect of improving muscle strength may appear similar, but they are not consistent, and it is thought that gradual changes in training variables are needed to improve muscle mass.

Recently, grafting of a story into a game has attracted ever increasing attention. In this study, the 12 phases of Hero's Journey by Joseph Campbell highlighted in movies and myths was analysed from a point of Christoper Vogler to be correlated with a game. Since a story-teller Is a player in a game, the story experienced by the player enjoying the game was examined and correlated with the 12 phases of Campbell. As the game, a construction/management simulation game, RCT3 produced by Atari was studied. The 12 phases of Campbell was applicable to game story.

This paper shows a asymmetrically controlled method for the simultaneous control of real and reactive power generated by Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES). Asymmetrically controled 12 pulse converter has been proposed in this paper for harmonic reduction of transformer primary current.
