단기 육묘재배 당귀근의 부위별 성분연구 (Study on the Constituents of Angelica gigas root cultivated by Short-time Growing seedling)

  • 참당귀(當歸) 추대억제(抽臺抑制) 재배법(栽培法)을 개발하기 위하여 종자를 조기에 파종, 육묘하여 본포에 이식한 후 당년가을에 수확한 뿌리의 부위별(部位別) 주성분(主成分)을 관행재배한 당귀와 비교하므로서 1년생 당귀의 추대억제효과와 약재로서의 가치를 평가하고저 하였다. 1. 관행(慣行) 재배(栽培)한 2년생 당귀의 뿌리내 decursin 과 decursionol angelate의 함량을 합한 평균치는 6.47% 임에 비하여, 단기육묘(短期育苗)하여 수확한 1년생 뿌리 내에서의 함량은 4.82%로 낮은 경향이었다. 2. 약효성분(藥效成分)의 부위별(部位別) 함량은 세근(지근)과 피충부가 높은 반면 중심주에서는 낮은 경향이었다. 3. Decursin및 decursinol angelate의 구성비(構成比)는 1년생에서는 10 : 7.5, 2년생에서는 10 : 6의 비율로 2년생에서 는 decursinol angelate 함량이 감소하는 경향이었다. 또한 2년생에서는 부위에 관계없이 두성분의 구성비가 60% 정도로 안정적인데 반해, 1년생에서는 세근과 지근에서 decursional angelate 구성비가 높은 경향이었다. 4. 조기(早期) 육묘재배(育苗栽培)한 1년생 당귀의 생약적(生藥的) 가치(價値)는 일정 면적(面積)에서의 수량(收量)이나 또는 단순한 성분함(成分含) 양면(量面)에서 무리가 없을 것으로 사료되지만, 주성분인 decursin의 구조이성체인 decursinol angelate와의 구성비(構成比)에 따른 효능상의 문제는 추후 검토가 요망된다.

훼손비탈면에 식재된 자생목본류의 묘유형별 생육특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Growth Characteristics under Seedling Types of Native Woody Plants After Planting on the Disturbed Slope)

  • This research was initiated to investigate the revegetation characteristics under seedling types of native woody plants on a disturbed slope. 4 different seedling types of woody plants (control, unit seedling plot, nature seedling plot, pot seedling plot) with the same woody plants (Rhus chinensis Mill, Albizzia julibrissin Duraz., Quercus acutissima Carr., Pinus densiflora S. et Z.) were treated with 3 replications on the experimental disturbed slope. Data such as the died number of native woody plants, growth height and visual quality were analyzed. The died number of plants were high in unit seedling plot when compared to the rest plots of seedling types. From the standpoint of died plant species, the died number were high in Rhus chinensis and Albizzia julibrissin whereas the died number were low in Quercus acutissima and Pinus densiflora. That's because we used 1-year old seedlings of Rhus chinensis and Albizzia julibrissin and 3-year old seedling Quercus acutissima and Pinus densiflora. This result indicated that the died reason of native woody seedling was not species but seedling age. Both growth height and visual quality were ranked first in the pot seedling plot, second in the nature seedling plot, third in the unit seedling plot, and last in the control plot, respectively. However, the difference of both growth height and visual quality in each seedling plot was not observed on the 11 months after planting. Especially, the main reason of low rooting and growth value in the unit seedling plot was due to wooven fabric outer crust of pot that obstruct seedling rooting into the soil. We concluded that pot seedling of native woody plants was effective in the viewpoint of the ecological disturbed slope revegetation.

토직, 상토 및 양액육묘에 의해 생산된 묘삼의 본포 이식 후 생장특성 (Growth Characteristics of Ginseng Seedling Transplanting by Self Soil Nusery, Nursery or Hydroponic Culture on Main Field)

  • Background: The production method of ginseng seedlings for ginseng cultivation is very important to ensure healthy rooting system as well as high quality, and yield of the resultant plants. This study was carried out to compare the growth characteristics of 2-year-old ginseng plants that were produced from seedlings grown in self soil nursery (SSN), nursery soil (NS) or hydroponic culture (HC). Methods and Results: The shading prop used was composed of four-layered 4 polyethylene (blue 3 + black 1) shade screen. The management of main field was done by inserting oil cake (1,200 kg/10 a) and then allowing Sudan grass to grow for a year. Seedling transplantation was carried out on April 6. Root growth was measured on October 25. Root weight was observed to be excellent at 6.0 g, following SSN transplantation. Root length was 21.2 cm for HC seedlings, but these plants had a physiological disorder (i.e., rusty root), in 83.5% plants of this treatment. The ratio of PD/PT (protopanaxadiol saponins / protopanaxatriol saponins) was higher in NS seedlings. Plant analysis revealed that Fe content was lower in HC seedlings with high rustiness. The growth of 2-years-old ginseng was different following these varying seedling cultivation methods, but seedlings from NS were not different from those grown in SSN. Conclusions: For the propagation of 2-year-old ginseng plants, NS seedlings may be a good substitute for SSN seedlings.

한라산 구상나무림 복원을 위한 묘목식재시험 (Experimental Planting of the Seedlings for the Restoration of Abies koreana forest in Hallasan)

  • 구상나무의 묘목을 이식하여 활착률을 높이는 방법을 찾고자, 한라산국립공원 어리목대피소(해발 900m)에서 양묘된 2~6년생 묘목을 식재시기별(하기와 춘기), 지표처리별(코이어 매트. 코이어 네트 및 무처리)로 시험식재하고 활착률과 신초생장량을 조사.비교하였다. 하기식재의 경우 묘목의 연령이 높을수록 활착율이 높았으며, 지표처리에 따른 차이는 없었다. 춘기식재의 경우에는 묘목의 연령이 낮을수록 활착률이 높았으며, 지표처리 및 차이는 없었다. 하기식재된 구상나무 묘목의 신초생장에 있어서는 지표처리의 효과가 통계적으로 인정되었다. 코이어 매트를 처리한 시험구가 평균 2.11mm로 가장 많이 성장하였고, 대조구는 평균 1.47mm 성장하는 데 그쳤다. 묘령은 신초생장에 영향이 없었으며. 상대적으로 3년생 묘목을 코이어 매트 처리한 경우가 2.26mm로 가장 잘 자랐다. 춘기식재된 구상나무 묘목의 신초생장에 있어서는 지표처리나 묘령의 통계적 유의성은 인정되지 않았다.

묘상의 이식각도가 고려인삼의 체형 및 생육에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Transplanting Angle of Seedling on Root Shape and Growth of Ginseng Plant (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer)

  • In order to clarify effect of transplanting angle of seedling on shape and growth of ginseng root, ginseng of seedlings were transplanted with $60^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$ respectively, and the root characters of 2-, 4- and 6-year-old ginseng were investigated. The length of main root with 45$^{\circ}$was above 7 cm (standard) but that of $60^{\circ}$ and $60^{\circ}$ was below 7 cm (standard). Number of good lateral root was above 2.3 ea for $45^{\circ}$, 0~$30^{\circ}$, but below 2.3 ea per plant for 60~$90^{\circ}$ respectively. Root fresh weight with $0^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$, $45^{\circ}$ was heavier than that with $60^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$. Root disease infection rate was highest with $0^{\circ}$. There were, no significant difference in stem length, stem diameter, leaf area, comber of palmate leaves and leaflets per plant, ratio of missing plant, root diameter in 2-, 4- and 6-year-old ginseng.

비닐하우스에서 인삼 직파재배 시 유기물 처리에 따른 연차간 입모율 및 생육특성 (Emergence Rate and Growth Characteristics of Ginseng Affected by Different Types of Organic Matters in Greenhouse of Direct-Sowing Culture)

  • Shading and soil environment are the main factors of growth and yield in ginseng (Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer). Ginseng yield is directly related to survival rate because of increased missing plant for their growing period. Under field conditions, diseases and pests significantly affect plant survival rate. We evaluated the seedling establishment, growth and ginsenoside of the ginseng plants, under controlled management conditions in a plastic greenhouse, when their treated with different types of organic matter. Ginseng seeds were sown at a rate of three seeds per hole, and the seeding space measured $10cm{\times}15cm$. Compared to the control, treatment of cattle manure vermicompost (CMV) was shown to increase seedling establishment and decrease ginsenoside content. Root weights of plants treated with CMV were higher than those of plants treated with other types of organic matter. In addition, seedling establishment of 2-year-old ginseng plants was decreased when it was compared to that of 1-year-old ginseng plants. Our results indicated that organic matter type and rate were associated with seedling establishment, growth characteristic and ginsenoside content in greenhouse of ginseng direct-sowing culture.

실외 온난화 처리에 따른 낙엽송 묘목의 생리 및 생장 반응 (Effect of Experimental Warming on Physiological and Growth Responses of Larix kaempferi Seedlings)

  • Seedling stage is particularly important for tree survival and is easily influenced by warming. Therefore, air temperature being increased due to climate change may affect physiological traits and growth of seedlings. This study was conducted to investigate the physiological and growth responses of Larix kaempferi seedlings to open-field experimental warming. 1-year-old and 2-year-old L. kaempferi seedlings were warmed with infrared lamps since April 2015 and April 2014, respectively. The seedlings in the warmed plots were warmed to maintain the air temperature to be $3^{\circ}C$ higher than that of the control plots. Physiological responses (stomatal conductance, transpiration rate, net photosynthetic rate and total chlorophyll content) and growth responses (root collar diameter (RCD), height and biomass) to experimental warming were measured. Physiological and growth responses varied with the seedling ages. For 2-year-old L. kaempferi seedlings, stomatal conductance, transpiration rate and net photosynthetic rate decreased following the warming treatment, whereas there were no changes for 1-year-old L. kaempferi seedlings. Meanwhile, total chlorophyll content was higher in warmed plots regardless of the seedling ages. Net photosynthetic rate linked with stomatal conductance also decreased due to the drought stress and decrease of photosynthetic efficiency. In response to warming, RCD, height and biomass did not show significant differences between the treatments. It seems that the growth responses were not affected as much as physiological responses were, since the physiological responses were not consistent, nor the warming treatment period was enough to have significant results. In addition, multifactorial experiments considering the impact of decreased soil moisture resulting from elevated temperatures is needed to explicate the impacts of a wide range of possible climate change scenarios.

Effects of Fertilizer Treatment on the Growth Performance of 1-Year-Old Containerized Seedlings in Chionanthus retusus

  • Chionanthus retusus has been used for landscaping and gardening trees, foods and medicines. This study was carried out to analyze the effect of fertilization on the growth performance of container seedlings (1-year-old) in C. retusus. We used multifeed 19 (MF) as a fertilizer, and measured the height, root collar diameter (RCD), biomass, seedling quality index (SQI) chlorophyll contents and chlorophyll fluorescence of the seedlings. The findings of this paper showed that the height, RCD, H/D ratio, T/R ratio and the fresh and dry weight of seedlings increased after fertilization. The moisture content of the stem and root did not show any significant difference among fertilizations, except in the case of the leaf. Production distribution such as the dry weight ratio of leaves and the stem dry weight ratio of fertilized seedlings had a higher value than that of non-treatment. SQI was the highest in MF 1,000 mg/L and 2,000 mg/L treatment. Chlorophyll contents (SPAD value) also increased with the increase in fertilization concentrations. Chlorophyll fluorescence (Fv/Fm) showed the highest value of 0.8 in MF 2,000 mg/L treatment.

저선량 ${\gamma}$선 조사가 배추종자의 발아와 수량에 미치는 효과 (Effects of low dose gamma radiation on the germination and yield components of chinese cabbage)

  • 저선량 방사선에 의한 식물생육 촉진효과를 보고자 남방계 배추품종의 $1{\sim}5$년간 묵은 종자에 저선량 ${\gamma}$선을 $0.5{\sim}30.0Gy$까지 조사하여 온실과 포장에서 재배하여 그 생육상황을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 배추 묵은 종자의 발아율과 유묘초장은 저선량 조사에 의해 향상되었으나 그 효과는 저장기간에 따라 달랐다. 저장기간이 5년차, 4년차, 3년차인 종자에게는 각각 4.0Gy, 1.0Gy, 0.5Gy 조사에서 발아율과 유묘초장 증가효과가 인정되었고 1년차와 2년차 종자에서 발아율 촉진효과는 없었으나 유묘초장은 증가하였다. 포장재배한 배추의 초장, 생체중, 직경으로 본 수량은 모든 저장종자의 4.0Gy와 8.0Gy 조사구에서 증가효과가 있었고 1년차와 2년차 종자에서는 20.0Gy와 30.0Gy에서도 수량증가 효과가 있었다.

때죽나무 종자(種子)의 발아촉진(發芽促進) 및 종자내(種子內) 성분(成分)의 변화(變化) (Stimulation of Seed Germination and Variations in Seed Components of Styrax japonica)

  • 최근 환경수로서 가치가 높아지고 있는 때죽나무에 대하여 몇 가지 전처리에 의한 종자 발아촉진과 실생묘의 생장상태, 그리고 시기별, 처리별 종자내 성분의 변화 과정을 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 1년 이상 노천매장을 해야만 발아가 되는 때죽나무 종자에 몇 가지 전처리를 하여 파종한 결과, $H_2SO_4$ 70% 용액에 30분간 침지 후 $GA_3$ 3,000ppm 처리하여 5개월간 층적처리한 시험구에서 55%의 발아율을 보여 당년 발아가 가능하였다. 2. 파종 후 160일 후에 발아된 치묘의 생장량을 조사한 결과 전처리에 의해 당년 발아된 묘목과 2년 발아된 묘목사이에 차이가 없었다. 3. 때죽나무의 1년 종자에 몇 가지 전처리를 한 후 종자내 성분을 분석한 결과 점차 함수량은 증가하고, 조지방과 탄수화물 및 조회분 등은 감소하여 파종 직전에는 2년 종자의 성분 비율과 유사해졌다.
