Objectives : Chimgugyeongheombang's Byulhyul, or special points, is a list of extra points, and its acupoint types and positions are different from other books. Its source, however, is kept behind the vale. This paper aims to reveal Byulhyul's contents and source. Methods : Qixiaoliangfang, Jinjiudacheng, and Donguibogam's Gihyul were studied to determine the source of Chimgugyeongheombang's Byulhyul. Results & Conclusions : Chimgugyeongheombang lists a total of 59 special points. It cites 22 meridian points from Qixiaoliangfang, 26 points from Jinjiudacheng, and 36 points from Donguibogam. The Dictionary of Acupuncture records the source of 6 meridian points that aren't found in conventional books, namely the Soongol, Backro, Yeose, Eumdo, Naetaechoong, and Gabgeun points, as Zhenjiujicheng. However, Zhenjiujicheng, in reality, is a book put together with excerpts from three books: Donguibogam, Chimgugyeongheombang, and Leijingtuyi. This means that it's Chimgugyeongheombang that is the source of Zhenjiujicheng. Moreover, all of the points save for Soongol and Eumdo were also used in the acupunctural treatment of 9 diseases including epilepsy. In other words, it can be safely assumed that Heo Im came up with and utilized new special points based on his personal clinical experiences, and this is significant in that he expanded the boundary of the conventional study of acupuncture through his independent experiences and studies.
Objectives : Standardization and clear description of locating acupuncture points guarantees reproducibility and credibility of the results in animal studies of acupuncture points and meridians. In this study, we aimed at analyzing the acupoint description of the previous experimental studies and suggesting guidelines for related journals. Methods : We searched animal studies where acupuncture points were used in Journal of Korean Acupuncture & Moxibustion Society and Journal of Meridian & Acupoint with a limitation of period, from 2002 to 2006. Data on experimental animals, acupuncture points and their descriptions were extracted and put in a predefined form. They were classified as one of the 4 classes; A) descriptions of the acupuncture points present, B) no description of the acupuncture points and only reference provided, C) neither description of the acupuncture points nor reference provided, or D) acupuncture point detector used. Two authors independently extracted and classified the data and the disagreements were resolved by discussion. Experts were invited to rate acupuncture point description validity on a numeric rating scale in the 11-item questionnaire. Results : Two hundred and five studies were identified and classified as follows; A) 32.2% (n=66), B) 7.8% (n=16), C) 51.2% (n=105), and D) 8.8% (n=18). Experts ratings were significantly lower for class C (mean${\pm}$SD, 2.14${\pm}$1.35, 95% CI [1.90, 2.39], P = 0.004 compared with class B, P ${\leq}$ 0.001 compared with class A or C) and no difference was found between classes A, B, and D. Conclusions : Reporting of acupuncture points in experimental animals is poor and validity and reliability of the result from such reporting is hampered. We suggest that journal editors and experts provide guidelines for reporting animal acupuncture points and adopt them into guide for authors for related journals.
The purpose of this study Is to assess the retained range of motion[RROM] of the foot after arthrodesis of the ankle joint, which might help designing the angle of arthrodesis. We reviewed the results including the RROM in 14 cases of ankle arthrodesis. Underlying causes included trauma group(six posttraumatic arthritis) and disease group(three osteoarthritis, three Charcot joints, one chronic synovitis and one pyogenic arthritis). We measured the RROM on the lateral roentgenograms of the ankle in full dorsiflexion and plantarflexion, The results were assessed by the AOFAS hindfoot scale[score]. The RROM in sagittal plane was $23.4{\pm}5.3$ degrees and the score was 71.5 points on average. The RROM and the score were $26.8^{\circ}{\pm}2.1$, 81.2 points respectively in trauma group and $20.8^{\circ}{\pm}5.6$, 64.3 points in disease group; $26.6^{\circ}{\pm}2.3$, 83.4 points in cases younger than 40 years of age and $21.6^{\circ}{\pm}5.7$, 64.9 points in the older. The mean score was 77.3 points in cases whose RROM were $24^{\circ}$ or more and 61 points in cases of less RROM; 69.6 and 73.4 points in cases with and without adjacent degenerative arthritis respectively. The score was 69.7, 73.3 and 71.5 points in cases whose angle of arthrodesis was in dorsiflexion, neutral, plantarflexion respectively. In conclusion, after ankle arthrodesis RROM of the foot was $23.4^{\circ}$, and the more the RROM, the higher the score. In cases with sufficient amount of RROM, the angle of fusion on sagittal plane might not influence the result significantly.

Among a number of factors related to the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, prescriptions do important work. Traditional eastern doctors also placed emphasis on prescriptions of acupuncture and moxibustion, and a lot of experiences have been accumulated. The method forms prescriptions of Sa-am acupuncture therapy pivots on five transport points. Studies show prescriptions are made on the basis of the theory of 'Wang Xiang Xiu Qiu Si'(旺相休囚死) used engendering and restraining of five phases, and it is considered the principle of transformed prescriptions through this theory. Because there is still no study analyzing prescriptions of Sa-am acupuncture by existing principles, we report opinion about Combination principle of points in them. 1. We studied history of acupuncture and moxibustion, development and kinds of points' Combination principle. 2. Around Combination principles of points in Classic of Difficult Issues and Internal Classic, we analyzed and compared between Combination principles of points in Sa-am acupuncture therapy and them in Korea and overall acupuncture methods. 1. There were many Combination principles of acupunture point combination in Classic of Difficult Issues, Internal Classic and Korea acupuncture methods. For example, Point combination of the same meridian, Point combination of the different meridian, Exterior-Interior point combination, Point combination of the same name meridian, Point combination of the multiple meridian, Point combination of Adjacent and Distant points, Left-Right point combination, Anterior-Posterior point combination, Superior-Inferior point combination, Brook point and Stream point combination, Triple energizer point combination, Eight meeting point combination, Five transport point combination, Source-Connecting point combination, Alram point and Transport point combination, Mother-Sun meridian combination, Empirical point combination, Important point combination, Point combination according to syndrome. 2. Existing Combination principles of points in prescriptions of Sa-am acupuncture therapy included every rule. 3. They could be evidences that prescriptions of Sa-am acupuncture therapy are forms inheriting and developing acupuncture and moxibustion treatments.
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between body mass index (BMI), satisfaction of perceived somatotype, and eating disorder of 133 female college students from Gyeong-gi province. The average weight is $55.3{\pm}8.8kg$, and the BMI is categorized into three groups: underweight, normal weight, and overweight. In terms of the satisfaction for perceived somatotype, 58.6% of the total respondents replied "unsatisfied," which consists of 14% of the underweight group, 37.6% of the normal weight group, and 6.8% of the overweight group. This reveals that the negative association between the satisfaction levels of perceived somatotype and BMI in the normal weight group is statistically significant (p<0.001). Among three eating disorder scores, the first factor, the drive for thinness, shows significant difference (p<0.005) among groups with 2.82 points in the underweight group, 3.38 points in the normal weight group, and 3.86 points in the overweight group; such result shows that there is a drive for being skinny even within the underweight group. Second, the satisfaction levels of perceived somatotype type shows significant dissatisfaction among all groups with 3.41 points in the underweight group, 4.15 points in the normal weight group and 4.73 points in the overweight group. Third, the bulimia degree reveals a significant difference within each group, 2.15 points in the underweight group, 2.33 points in the normal weight group, and 2.78 points in the overweight group. Overall, more than half of the female college students are dissatisfied with their body shapes despite the fact that they are under or within the normal weight. In addition, the drive for being skinny and dissatisfaction levels of perceived somatotypes appear to be significantly higher with higher BMI levels.
We study contraction of points on ${\mathbb{P}}^1({\bar{\mathbb{Q}}})$ with certain control on local ramification indices, with application to the unramified curve correspondence problem initiated by Bogomolov and Tschinkel.
This research has been conducted to examine the cognition and attitude of nursing students on Oriental Nursing, the subject of this research being 789 nursing students from 9 different universities who took the Oriental Nursing class. A questionnaire, the construct validity and reliability of which have been verified through enquiries into records and references as well as preliminary researches, was used as a research tool. The questionnaire, a set of 86 questions, was developed by the researchers of this study, and the reliability of the questionnaire is Cronbach's=.85. The collected data have been analysed using SPSS windows programme 11.0 for t-test and ANOVA, and the results are as follows: 1. There was a significant difference in cognition and attitude points according to the academic year (F=14.15, p=.000). After the post-hoc test, it was revealed that the points of the students in their 4th year were significantly higher than the points of the students in their 2nd or 3rd year. 2. There was a significant difference in cognition and attitude points according to the credits the students have taken (F=28.66, p=.000). After the post-hoc test, it was revealed that the points of the students who have taken from $3{\sim}5$ to $6{\sim}8$ credits were significantly higher than the points of those who have taken from 1 to 2 credits. 3. There was a significant difference in cognition and attitude points according to the period of time the students have experienced Oriental Nursing (F=32.06, p=.000). After the post-hoc test, it was revealed that the points of the students who have practised Oriental Nursing from 1 to 2 weeks were significantly higher than the points of those who have not practised it at all. 4. There was no significant difference in cognition and attitude points according to the treatment or hospitalisation of the students themselves or their family members. 5. The cognition and attitude points of the students who are deeply interested in Oriental Nursing were significantly higher than the points of those who are not (t=8.83, p=.000). 6. The cognition and attitude points of the students who have higher expectations for the development of Oriental Nursing were significantly higher than the points of those who have not(t=5.90, p=.000). 7. The cognition and attitude points of the students who believe that the Oriental Nursing will contribute to the expansion of the roles of nurses were significantly higher than the points of those who do not (t=6.60, p=.000). 8. The cognition and attitude points of the students who expect that the Oriental Nursing will be effective in prevention of chronic diseases were significantly higher than the points of those who do not (t=5.80, p=.000). According to the results above, it was confirmed that proper education on Oriental Nursing can have affirmative effects on the cognition and attitude of the nursing students towards Oriental Nursing.

The acquisition of many control points for SAR data processing is very difficult and time_consuming steps. For resolving the problem about control points, this paper describes satellite orbit refinement method using minimum control point. Accuracy of geocoding according to distribution and number of control points are analyzed and geocoded RADARSAT image was produced in the paper.
Let the circle act on a compact oriented manifold with a discrete fixed point set. At each fixed point, there are positive integers called weights, which describe the local action of S1 near the fixed point. In this paper, we provide the author's original proof that only uses the Atiyah-Singer index formula for the classification of the weights at the fixed points if the dimension of the manifold is 4 and there are at most 4 fixed points, which made the author possible to give a classification for any finite number of fixed points.

In this paper, the problem for choosing design points in the two dimensional case is condidered. In the one dimensional case, given the design density function, we can choose design points using the quantile function. However, in the two dimensional case, there is no clear definition of the percentile. Therefore, the idea of choosing design points in the univariate case can not be applied directly to the two dimensional case. We convert this problem into an optimization problem using the Voronoi diagram.
