Non-invasive technique CT, called automated computed tomography, is used to detect lesion of a patient when diagnosing human body. Information obtained from CT plays an important role in assembling 3 dimensional images. Recently, new equipment, operated by CT, is required which can be appliable to physical and biological research. In accordance to this quest, micro-CT is invented that produce more detail and concrete information. Images supplied by CT are even more detailed and concrete, so it contributes much to the development of biology and polymer material engineering field. However, there has been little reliable reports regarding measuring information of space dose distribution about exposure dose limit of users operating micro-CT. In addition, little reports regarding space dose distribution of exposure has been known about unwanted diffraction light produced by usage of micro-CT. The exterior of micro-CT is covered by lead, which is for removing exposure of diffraction light. Thus, even if it is good enough to prevent exposure of diffraction light, consistent management of equipment will be required as time goes by and equipment are getting old as well. We measured space dose distribution regarding exposure of diffraction light of users operating micro-CT directly. Therefore, we suggest that proper management should be necessary for users operating micro-CT not to be exposed by unwanted diffraction light.

Background: This study sought to determine safe ranges of oblique angle, skin entry point and needle length by reviewing computed tomography (CT) scans and to evaluate the usefulness of a bent tip needle during celiac plexus block (CPB). Methods: CT scans of 60 CPB patients were reviewed. Image of the uppermost margin of L2 vertebral body was used to measure the minimal and maximal oblique angles and the distances from the midline to skin puncture point. The imaginary needle trajectory distance was calculated by three-dimensional measurement. When the procedure was performed by using a $10^{\circ}$ bent tip needle under a $20^{\circ}$ oblique X-ray fluoroscopic view, the distance (GF/G'F) from the midline to the actual puncture site was measured. Results: The imaginary safe oblique angle range was $26.4-34.2^{\circ}$ and $27.7-36.0^{\circ}$ on the right and left, respectively. The distance from the midline to skin puncture point was 6.1-7.6 cm on the right and 6.3-7.6 cm on the left. The needle trajectory distance at minimal angle was 9.6-11.6 cm on the right and 9.5-11.5 cm on the left. The distance of GF/G'F was 5.1-6.5 cm and 5.0-6.4 cm on the right and left, respectively. All imaginary parameters were correlated with BMI except for GF/G'F. All complications were mild and transient. Conclusions: We identified safe values of angles and distances using a straight needle. Furthermore, using a bent tip needle under a $20^{\circ}$ oblique fluoroscopic view, we could safely perform CPB with smaller parameter values.
We have successfully fabricated 3D (3-dimensional) nanostructures of $TiO_2$ coated with a $g-C_3N_4$ layer via hydrothermal and sintering methods to enhance photoelectrochemical (PEC) performance. Due to the coupling of $TiO_2$ and $g-C_3N_4$, the nanostructures exhibited good performance as the higher conduction band of $g-C_3N_4$, which can be combined with $TiO_2$. To fabricate 3D nanostructures of $g-C_3N_4/TiO_2$, $TiO_2$ was first grown as a double layer structure on FTO (Fluorine-doped tin oxide) substrate at $150^{\circ}C$ for 3 h. After this, the $g-C_3N_4$ layer was coated on the $TiO_2$ film at $520^{\circ}C$ for 4 h. As-prepared samples were varied according to loading of melamine powder, with values of loading of 0.25 g, 0.5 g, 0.75 g, and 1 g. From SEM and TEM analysis, it was possible to clearly observe the 3D sample morphologies. From the PEC measurement, 0.5 g of $g-C_3N_4/TiO_2$ film was found to exhibit the highest current density of $0.12mA/cm^2$, along with a long-term stability of 5 h. Compared to the pristine $TiO_2$, and to the 0.25 g, 0.75 g, and 1 g $g-C_3N_4/TiO_2$ films, the 0.5 g of $g-C_3N_4/TiO_2$ sample was coated with a thin $g-C_3N_4$ layer that caused separation of the electrons and the holes; this led to a decreasing recombination. This unique structure can be used in photoelectrochemical applications.
Domestic economic development, industrialization, and urbanization have brought along not only increased highway traffic but also elevated traffic noise levels. Thus, it is necessary to accurately predict the traffic noise levels in order to address the public demand of alleviating the noise levels in urban areas. In this study, the method of evaluating the sound power level of road traffic was investigated in terms of considering the types of road surface and vehicle, based on previous researches. Regarding CPX (Close Proximity Test) and Pass-by test, the measured noise data of Test Road of Korea Highway Corporation were utilized in order to construct the database of sound power levels of various vehicles. Specifically, the 38 noise measurement and analysis in 1/1-octave band frequencies at 12 pre-selected sites were carried out, considering topography and road surface. Finally, the comparison study was conducted between predicted and measured data in terms of traffic noise. The traffic noise prediction was based on the KRON (Korea Road Noise) program, which was developed being equipped wit 3-dimensional GUI. In addition, the traffic noise characteristics were evaluated in terms of vehicle types and pavement surface conditions.
We fabricated transparent conductive electrodes with silver (Ag) nanofibers by electrospinning process. Ag nanofibers have high aspect ratio and fused junctions which result in low sheet resistance. Electrospinning is a fast and efficient process to fabricate continuous one-dimensional (1D) nanofibers. Ag/polymer ink were prepared in polymer matrix solution by a sol-gel method. Then, Ag/polymer nanofibers precursors are heated at $200{\sim}500^{\circ}C$ in air for 2 h to eliminate partially the polymers. The topographical features of the Ag nanofibers were characterized by FE-SEM, and the electrical property was analyzed through I-V measurement system. Finally, optical property was measured using UV/VIS spectroscopy. The transparent conductive electrodes with Ag nanofibers exhibited a sheet resistance (Rs) of $250{\Omega}/sq$ at a transparency (T) of 83%. Transparent conductive films, contain the Ag nanofibers as conductive materials, have good electrical, optical, and mechanical properties. Therefore, it is expected to be useful for the application of flexible display in the future.
A numerical model of flow velocity in the standing water system is presented. This model(RMA-2), based on the 2-dimensional unsteady momentum and continuity equations, uses finite element techniques to simulate the distribution of velocity over a spatial location of lakes. The present model represents an improvement over existing numerical water quality models in that it can model the unsteady state and can, therefore, cope with time with a spatial location of standing waters such as lakes and large reservoirs. The model thus allows the engineer to do more accurate estimation of water flows and thus water qualities in standing waters where directions and velocities of the flow become more important for the simulation of the water quality than in running waters. Tests for the data collected in the lake "Paldang" indicates that the model works well under limited circumstances. However, to be more accurate estimation of velocity with the present model, accumulation of data for the measurement of velocities and renovation of geometrical conditions of the lake would be needed.

Surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) have attracted the attention of scientists and engineers involved in a wide area of research, microscopy, diagnostics and sensing. SPPs are waves that propagate along the surface of a conductor, usually metals. These are essentially light waves that are trapped on the surface because of their interaction with the free electrons of conductor. In this interaction, the free electrons respond collectively by oscillating in resonance with the light wave. The resonant interaction between the surface charge oscillation and the electromagnetic field of the light constitutes the SPPs and gives rise to its unique properties. In this papers, we studied theoretical and experimental extraordinary transmittance (T) and reflectance (R) of 2 dimensional metal hole array (2D-MHA) on GaAs in consideration of the diffraction orders. The 2d-MHAs was fabricated using ultra-violet photolithography, electron-beam evaporation and standard lift-off process with pitches ranging from 1.8 to $3.2{\mu}m$ and diameter of half of pitch, and was deposited 5-nm thick layer of titanium (Ti) as an adhesion layer and 50-nm thick layer of gold (Au) on the semiinsulating GaAs substrate. We employed both the commercial software (CST Microwave Studio: Computer Simulation Technology GmbH, Darmstadt, Germany) based on a finite integration technique (FIT) and a rigorous coupled wave analysis (RCWA) to calculate transmittance and reflectance. The transmittance was measured at a normal incident, and the reflectance was measured at variable incident angle of range between $30^{\circ}{\sim}80^{\circ}$ with a Nicolet Fourier transmission infrared (FTIR) spectrometer with a KBr beam splitter and a MCT detector. For MHAs of pitch (P), the peaks ${\lambda}$ max in the normal incidence transmittance spectra can be indentified approximately from SP dispersion relation, that is frequency-dependent SP wave vector (ksp). Shown in Fig. 1 is the transmission of P=2.2 um sample at normal incidence. We attribute the observation to be a result of FTIR system may be able to collect the transmitted light with higher diffraction order than 0th order. This is confirmed by calculations: for the MHAs, diffraction efficiency in (0, 0) diffracted orders is lower than in the (${\pm}x$, ${\pm}y$) diffracted orders. To further investigate the result, we calculated the angular dependent transmission of P=2.2 um sample (Fig. 2). The incident angle varies from 30o to 70o with a 10o increment. We also found the splitting character on reflectance measurement. The splitting effect is considered a results of SPPs assisted diffraction process by oblique incidence.

Light shows various optical behaviors such as reflection, absorption, and scattering on skin for individuals. In particular, reflection of light from the skin has been widely used as the brightness index of the skin of individuals through the measurement of the physical quantity of spectral reflectance. Therefore, the study of light behavior on skin would be useful for the preparation of new evaluation method in the development stage of make-up products. In this study, multi-dimensional analysis for spectral reflectance behavior of light on individual skin was performed using Kubelka-Munk model. Also, we analyzed the contribution of skin parameters such as skin thickness and hemoglobin, which could affect the spectral reflectance, using above model and literature information. Base on this, we calculated the theoretical reflectance of normal women for visual light, which showed good agreement with the measured reflectance. Our study of light propagation in skin based on Kubelka-Munk model provides useful insight for the development of personalized cosmetic in the near future.

Recently, there are many studies related aerial mapping project and 3 dimensional shape and model reconstruction using UAV(unmanned aerial vehicle) system and images. In this study, we create 3D reconstruction point data using image matching technology of the UAV overlap images, detect shape change of structure and perform accuracy assessment of area($m^2$) and volume($m^3$) value. First, we build the test structure model data and capturing its images of shape change Before and After. Second, for post-processing the Before dataset is convert the form of raster format image to ensure the compare with all 3D point clouds of the After dataset. The result shows high accuracy in the shape change of more than 30 centimeters, but less is still it becomes difficult to apply because of image matching technology has its own limits. But proposed methodology seems very useful to detect illegal any structures and the quantitative analysis of the structure's a certain amount of damage and management.
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of horizontal air flow produced by circulation fans on horizontal and vertical profiles of meteorological factors. The three-dimensional distributions of air speed, air temperature, relative humidity and carbon dioxide $(CO_2)$ concentration were measured with and without the fans in operation. The uniformity of the spatial distribution of meteorological factors decreased as the outside air temperature decreased. In "fans off" condition, spatial variations of $4.7^{\circ}C$ in air temperature, 19% in relative humidity were detected. When the fans were operated, these variations were reduced to 2.2 and 6.3%, respectively. As the fan capacity increased, the difference in air temperature among sampling points decreased. The fan capacity of $0.0104m^3{\cdot}s^{-1}{\cdot}m^{-2}$ was enough to obtain a reasonable air flow in greenhouse. The vertical profiles of air temperature and $CO_2$ concentration were reasonably uniform regardless of measurement height and fan capacity. Further researches on the position of fans to reduce the difference in air temperature along the width and the effects of using a larger number of smaller fans are required.
