N-tert-Butyl-${\alpha}$-Phenylnitrone 유도체의 가수분해 반응메카니즘과 반응속도론적 연구 (A Study on the Kinetics and Mechanism of Hydrolysis of N-tert-Butyl-${\alpha}$-Phenylnitrone Derivatives)

  • The rate constants of hydrolysis of N-tert-butyl-${\alpha}$-phenylnitrone and its derivatives have been determined by UV spectrophotometry at $25^{\circ}C$ and a rate equation which can be applied over a wide pH range was obtained. On the basis of rate equations derived and judging from the hydrolysis products obtained and general base and substituent effects, plausible mechanism of hydrolysis in various pH range have been proposed. Below pH 4.5, the hydrolysis was initiated by the protonation and followed by the addition of water to ${\alpha}-carbon$. Above pH 10.0, the hydrolysis was proceeded by the addition of hydroxides ion to ${\alpha}-carbon$. In the range of 4.5${\sim}$10.0 the addition of water to nitrone was rate controlling step.

  • In this study, 0.05Pb(Mn$\_$1/3/Nb$\_$2/3/)O$_3$+ 0.95Pb(Zr/Ti)O$_3$+x[wt%]Cr$_2$O$_3$piezoelectric ceramics were fabricated by Hot-press method, and its structural, dielectrical, piezoelectrical properties, temperature stability and aging characteristics were investigated. Among the MPB and tetragonal compositions, the specimens with 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 [wt%] Cr$_2$O$_3$ additive amount had the poisson ratio more than 1/3. At tetragonal phase, the aging was small, and the temperature stability was improved by Cr addition. The specimen most suitable to the HF device substrate was the one with the composition of 47/53 (Zr/Ti) an 0.4 [wt%] Cr$_2$O$_3$addition.

  • In this paper, we studied the relation between addition of carbon and electromagnetic wave absorbing properties of ferrite-rubber composite. The ratio of carbon was 7 wt%. As s result, it has been shown that the electromagnetic wave absorbing properties of ferrite-rubber composite are changed by the addition of carbon in composite. And, we can control electromagnetic wave absorbing properties of ferrite-rubber composite by the using of carbon.

  • Electrical properties and microstructure were investigated on the effects of $MnO_2$ and the lead-free $(Na_{0.44}K_{0.52}Li_{0.04})(Nb_{0.83}Sb_{0.07}Ta_{0.1})O_3$ ceramics with the addition of $MnO_2$ were fabricated by a conventional mixed oxide method. A gradual change in the crystal and microstructure was observed with the increase of $MnO_2$ addition. For the NKN-LST-xmol%$MnO_2$ sintered at $1100^{\circ}C$, bulk density increased with the addition of $MnO_2$ and showed maximum value at addition 1.0mol% of $MnO_2$. Curie temperature of the NKN-LST ceramics slightly decreased with adding $MnO_2$. The dielectric constant, piezoelectric constant ($d_{33}$) and electromechanical coupling factor ($k_p$) increased below 0.25mol% of $MnO_2$ addition, which might be due to the increase in density. The high piezoelectric properties = 145 pC/N, electromechanical coupling factor = 0.421 and dielectric constant = 2883 were obtained for the NKN-LST-0.25mol%$MnO_2$ sintered at $1100^{\circ}C$ for 4h.

Effects of Salicylate and Glucose on Biodegradation of Phenanthrene by Burkholderia cepacia PM07

  • The stimulatory effects of exogenous salicylate as a pathway inducer on phenanthrene biodegradation were investigated using Burkholderia cepacia PM07. The phenanthrene degradation rate was greatly enhanced by increasing the salicylate additions, and the maximum rate was 19.6 mg $I^{-1}\;d^{-1}$ with the addition of 200 mg $I^{-1}$ of salicylate, 3.5 times higher than that (5.6 mg $I^{-1}\;d^{-1}$) without the addition of salicylate. The degradation rate was decreased at higher concentrations of salicylate (above 500 mg$I^{-1}$), and cell growth was significantly inhibited. The phenanthrene degradation was not affected by increasing glucose up to 2 g $I^{-1}$, although dramatic microbial growth was obtained. The stimulatory effect of exogenous salicylate decreased in the presence of glucose. After the addition of 200 mg $I^{-1}$ of salicylate, approximately $60\%$ of the initial phenanthrene (50 mg $I^{-1}$) was degraded after 96 h. However, with extra addition of 200 mg $I^{-1}$ of glucose, the phenanthrene degradation rate decreased, and only $18.5\%$ of the initial phenanthrene was degraded.

  • The $MgB_2$ tapes with several metal powder addition were fabricated by PIT method with or without heat treatment. The $J_c$ value of $5.600A/cm^2$ and $16.000A/cm^2$ at 4.2 K and 5 T were obtained for the $MgB_2$ tape and 10 vol % of Cu added $MgB_2$ tape without heat treatment respectively. The $J_c$ value of $8.000A/cm^2$ and $35,000A/cm^2$ at 4.2 K and 5 T were obtained for the $MgB_2$ tape and 10 vol. % of Al added $MgB_2$ tape with heat treatment, respectively. The $J_c-B$ curve shows enhancement in $J_c$ under magnetic field. which suggests enhancement in workability and grain connectivity with several metal powder addition.

Sourdough 분말첨가가 소맥분의 물리적 특성 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Sourdough Powder on the Physical Properties of the Bread Flour)

  • Sourdough 분말의 첨가가 식빵의 품질에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 sourdough 분말 Phil XN 290, Phil IM 1을 각각 1%, 2%를 넣은 다음 farinogram 특성, 호화도 특성, 반죽의 팽창력, crumb softness, 관능적 특성 등을 조사하였다. farinogram에서 sourdough 분말을 첨가한 것이 control에 비하여 흡수율은 차이를 거의 보이지 않았지만 반죽의 안정도가 감소하였으며 breakdown이 빠르게 진행되었다. RVA 값은 sourdough 분말을 첨가한 것이 초기호화 온도는 control 보다 0.7$^{\circ}C$-l.3$^{\circ}C$ 상승하였고, 최고점도는 Phil IM 1이 3-6 RVA 증가하였고, Phil XN 290은 유사하였다. 최종 점도는 Phil XN 290은 첨가함량이 증가할수록 감소하였지만 Phil IM 1은 증가하여 일치하지 않음을 보여주었다. 반죽의 팽창력은 sourdough 분말을 첨가한 것이 control과 비교하여 90분 이후부터 약간 낮게 나타나기 시작하였다. Hardness는 Phil XN 290과 Phil IM 1이 control과 비교하여 2일까지는 낮게 나타났으나, 4일 이후에는 급격히 증가하였다. 관능검사 결과는 Phil XN 290 2%가 control 보다 향미, 식감, 맛이 5% 수준에서, Phil IM 1 2%가 control보다 향이 5%수준에서 우수하였고, 색상은 1% 수준에서 우수하였다.

  • 물-메탄올(9:1) 용매 속에서 ${\beta},\;{\beta}$-diethoxycarbonylstyrene과 L-glutathione을 반응시켜 좋은 수득율로 다음과 같은 화합물을 합성하였다. 즉 S-(2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-phenylethyl)-L-glutathione, S-2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(3',4'-methylenedioxy)phenylethyl-L-glutathione, S-2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(3',4',5'-trimethoxy)phenylethyl-L-glutathione, S-2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(4'-hydroxy)phenylethyl-L-glutathione, S-2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(4'-methoxy)phenylethyl-L-glutathione. 위 화합물들의 구조는 원소분석과 분광학적 방법으로 확인하였고 수득율에 미치는 pH와 용매의 영향을 실험한 결과 pH는 4.0에서 8.0사이가 용매는 물-메탄올이 가장 적합하다는 것을 알았다. 한편 이 화합물의 Gram(+) 박테리아에 대한 항균성을 실험한 결과 약함을 알았다.

Effect of Deer Antler Extract on Muscle Differentiation and 5-Aminoimidazole-4-Carboxamide Ribonucleoside (AICAR)-Induced Muscle Atrophy in C2C12 Cells

  • The effect of deer antler extract on muscle differentiation and muscle atrophy were evaluated to minimize muscle loss following aging. Various deer antler extracts (HWE, hot water extract of deer antler; FE, HWE of fermented deer antler; ET, enzyme-assisted extract of deer antler; UE, extract prepared by ultrasonication of deer antler) were evaluated for their effect on muscle differentiation and inhibition of 5-aminoimidazole-4-carboxamide ribonucleoside (AICAR)-induced muscle atrophy in C2C12 cells. Morphological changes according to the effect of antler extracts on muscle differentiation were confirmed by Jenner-Giemsa staining. In addition, the expression levels of genes related to muscle differentiation and atrophy were confirmed through qRT-PCR. In the presence of antler extracts, the length and thickness of myotubes and myogenin differentiation 1 (MyoD1) and myogenic factor 5 (Myf5) gene expression were increased compared to those in the control group (CON). Gene expression of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), MyoD1, and myogenin, along with the muscle atrophy factors muscle RING finger-1 (MuRF-1) and forkhead box O3a (FoxO3a) upon addition of deer antler extracts to muscle-atrophied C2C12 cells was determined by qRT-PCR after treatment with AICAR. The expression of MuRF-1 and FoxO3a decreased in the groups treated with antler extracts compared to that in the group treated with AICAR alone. In addition, gene expression of MyoD1 and myogenin in the muscle atrophy cell model was significantly increased compared that into the CON. Therefore, our findings indicate that antler extract can increase the expression of MyoD1, Myf5 and myogenin, inhibit muscle atrophy, and promote muscle differentiation.

홍삼 성분의 혈당강하작용 연구 (ll) :쥐의 배양 간세포의 당대사 관련 효소 활성에 미치는 홍삼 지용성 분획의 영향 조사 (Hypoglycemic Action of Red Ginseng Components (II). Investigation of the Effect of Fat Soluble Fraction from Red Ginseng on Enzymes Related to Glucose Metabolism in Cultured Rat Hapatocytes)

  • In this study, rat hepatocytes known to have active glucose metabolism were obtained to investigate the hypoglycemic action of fat soluble fraction of red ginseng by using the liver perfusion technique and incubated in two different media-one containing insulin and glucagon (control group), and the other containing glucagon only The activities of main regulating enzymes, such as glucokinase, glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase, 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenate, and glucose 6-phosphatase, related to metabolic pathways of glucose in these two kinds of hepatocytes were compared between these two groups and the effects of addition of fat soluble fraction ($10^1$~$10^4$%) from red ginseng to these two groups on these enzymes were also detected. The results were as follows. The specific activity of enzymes such as glucokinase, flucorse 6-phosphate dehydrogenase, and 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase related to glucose-consuming pathways of insulin-deficient group was much less than control one. However, their decreased activity was recovered after the addition of fat-soluble fraction at all range of concentrations. The specific activity of these enzymes after the addition of ginseng components to the control group was also increased. On the other hand, the specific activity of glucose 6-phosphatase related to glucose-producing pathway of insulin-deficient group was much higher than control one, but their increased activity was decreased obviously after the addition of fat soluble fraction at all range of concentrations. The same results were observed after the addition of fat-soluble fraction to the control group. These results suggest that the red ginseng saponin components might be effective on diabetic hyperglycemia by regulating the activity of enzymes related to glucose metabolism directly and/or indirectly. The effects of fat-soluble fraction ($10^2$%) and ginsenosides (mixture, $Rb_1$ and $Rg_1$, $10^4$%) on hypoglycemic action were compared. As a result, they showed considerable effect on hyperglycemia, but the best eff ect on the activities of glucokinase and glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase was appeared by ginsenoside $Rb_1$ and that of 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase and glucose 6-phosphatase was by ginsenoside mixture.
