폴리우레탄 나노복합 발포체의 열적 성질 및 흡음 특성 (Thermal Properties and Sound-Damping Characteristics of Polyurethane Nanocomposite Foams)

  • 1,2-propanediol isobutyl polyhedral silsesquioxane 올리고머(POSS)를 사용하여 폴리우레탄 나노 복합 발포체를 제조하고, 유리전이온도, 난연성 등과 같은 열적 성질과 흡음 특성에 대해 고찰하였다. 소량의 POSS 입자 첨가 시에도 발포 폴리우레탄의 흡음 성능이 강화되는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Carbonyl compounds 1, alkyl- and arylaldehydes and alkyl, aryl, benzylic, and cyclic ketones were converted to the corresponding 1,3-dioxolanes 2 and 1,3-dioxanes 4 with ethylene glycol and 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol in the presence of 1-3 mol% of 1-(p-substituted)benzyl-1,1-dimethyl-2-(p-substituted)-benzoyl hydrazinium hexafluoroantimonates 3 in high yields.

Analysis of 3-MCPD and 1,3-DCP in Various Foodstuffs Using GC-MS

  • 3-Monochloro-1,2-propanediol (3-MCPD) and 1,3-dichloro-2-propanol (1,3-DCP) are not only produced in the manufacturing process of foodstuffs such as hydrolyzed vegetable proteins and soy sauce but are also formed by heat processing in the presence of fat and low water activity. 3-MCPD exists both in free and ester forms, and the ester form has been also detected in various foods. Free 3-MCPD and 1,3-DCP are classified as Group 2B by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. Although there is no data confirming the toxicity of either compound in humans, their toxicity was evidenced in animal experimentation or in vitro. Although few studies have been conducted, free 3-MCPD has been shown to have neurotoxicity, reproductive toxicity, and carcinogenicity. In contrast, 1,3-DCP only has mutagenic activity. The purpose of this study was to analyze 3-MCPD and 1,3-DCP in various foods using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. 3-MCPD and 1,3-DCP were analyzed using phenyl boronic acid derivatization and the liquid-liquid extraction method, respectively. The analytical method for 3-MCPD and 1,3-DCP was validated in terms of linearity, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantitation, accuracy and precision. Consequently, the LODs of 3-MCPD and 1,3-DCP in various matrices were identified to be in the ranges of 4.18~10.56 ng/g and 1.06~3.15 ng/g, respectively.

글리세롤로부터 1,3-propanediol 생산을 위한 Klebsiella pneumoniae 배양 조건 최적화 (Optimization of Culture Conditions for 1,3-propanediol Production from Glycerol Using Klebsiella pneumoniae)

  • 본 연구는 통성 혐기성 미생물인 K. pneumoniae DSM4799을 이용하여 순수 글리세롤과 국내 바이오디젤 생산공정에서 발생된 폐글리세롤로부터 1,3-PD을 생산하기 위한 연구로서, 혐기 및 호기 조건, 배양온도, 글리세롤 농도, pH에 따른 1,3-PD 생산성 비교를 통해 최적 배양조건을 찾고자 하였다. K. pneumoniae DSM4799를 혐기조건과 호기/혐기 2단계 배양을 한 결과, 혐기조건에서 더 효율적인 1,3-PD 생산이 이루어졌다. 배양 온도를 $26{\sim}37^{\circ}C$로 변화시키면서 배양한 결과, $30{\sim}33^{\circ}C$에서 높은 1,3-PD 생산성을 나타내었고, 글리세롤 농도는 글리세롤의 종류에 상관없이 60 g/L 이상에서 균주의 성장 및 1,3-PD 생산이 저해되는 현상을 관찰할 수 있었다. 폐글리세롤 사용시 순수 글리세롤에 비해 초기 1,3-PD 생산은 감소하였으나, 48시간 후에는 오히려 더 높은 농도의 1,3-PD를 생산하였다. 유가식 배양으로 글리세롤 농도를 40 g/L 이하로 조절하면서 pH 조절유무에 따른 1,3-PD 및 부산물의 변화를 살펴본 결과, pH를 7.0으로 유지시켰을 때 pH 조절을 하지 않은 경우보다 25% 향상된 1,3-PD 수율을 나타내었다(0.56 g/g vs. 0.45 g/g). 본 연구를 통해 K. pneumoniae DSM4799를 이용하여 1,3-PD 생산시 혐기조건, 온도 $30^{\circ}C$, 순수 또는 폐글리세롤 40 g/L 이하, pH 조절 등의 배양조건이 적합함을 알 수 있었으며, 최적화된 배양조건을 통해 보다 가격경쟁력이 있는 생물학적 1,3-PD 생산이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

고체상 추출에 의한 1,3-dichloro-2-propanol과 3-chloro-1,2-propanediol의 분석 (Analysis of 1,3-dichloro-2-propanol and 3-chloro-1,2-propanediol by Solid Phase Extraction)

  • 산분해 HVP제조 공정에서 부산물로 생성되는 DCP와 MCPD의 분석을 위한 GC-MS의 분석 조건 및 추출 조건 최적화를 수행하였다. DB-5 모세관 칼럼을 이용하여 DCP와 MCPD가 각각 분리되었으며 SIM기법을 사용한 결과 25-50 ppb까지 검출 한계를 낮출 수 있었다. 고체상 추출 칼럼의 종류, 희석액의 염 농도, 추출 유기용매의 종류 등에 따라 상이한 분석 결과를 보였으며 고체상 추출 칼럼 중에서는 normal phase가 적합하였고, 희석액의 염화나트륨의 농도가 20% (w/v)일 때 최대의 추출 회수율을 보였다. 고체상 추출시 용리제로 사용되는 유기용매의 극성이 회수율을 결정하는 중요한 인자인 것으로 밝혀졌다. MCPD와 DCP의 추출에 적합한 유기용매의 선정을 위하여 물에 섞이지 않으면서 DCP와 MCPD에 용해도가 높은 클로로포름, 에테르, 핵산과 에틸 아세테이트 등의 유기용매 및 각각의 혼합 용매를 용리제로 테스트한 결과 DCP의 경우 핵산이, MCPD의 경우 에틸아세테이트가 적합한 유기용매로 선정되었다. 이 때 DCP와 MCPD의 추출 회수율은 각각 100%와 95%이었다. HVP를 함유하는 식품 시료를 분석한 결과 DCP와 MCPD의 함량은 각각 1 ppm이하와 수십 ppm의 값을 보였다.

향미성 Natto의 향기성분, 지방산 및 유기산 함량 분석 (Flavor Component, Fatty Acid and Organic Acid of Natto with Spice Added)

  • Natto is a Japanese tradiational food made from whole soybeans by the fermentation of Bacillus natto. This study was attempted to improve the taste of Natto, garlic(2%) and red pepper oleoresin(0.2%) were added. Conventional Natto(N-1), garlic Natto(N-2), red pepper oleoresin Natto(N-3), garlic and red pepper oleoresin Natto(N-4) were prepared. Volatile flavor components, fatty acid, organic acid, pH and titratable acdity in all samples were investigated. The experimental results revealed the presence of 62 volatile components in conventional Natto. Among there, the major flavor compounds were identified to be 2, 5-dimethylpyrazine, trimethyl-pyrazine, 2, 6-bis91, 1-dimethylethyl) phenol. Seventy-one volatile compounds were detected in N-2, and major compounds were identified to be methyl-2-propenyl disulfide, 2, 6-bis(1, 1-dimethylethyl)phenol and 2, 5-dimethylpyrazine. The amounts of volatile compounds, 2-methyoxyphenol and 1, 2-benzenedicarboxylic acid increased by addition of garlic, where as, 1,2 -propanediol, 1-hexanol and 2, 5-dimethylpyrazine decreased. The compounds, 4, 5-dihydroxy-5-propyl-1H-pyrazole, 1, 1, 3-trimethylcyclopentane were identified in N-3. The compounds, such as trimethylpyrazine, 3-ethyl-2,5-dimethylpyrazine increased by addition of red pepper oleoresin, whereas 1,2-propanediol, 1-hexanol and 2,5-dimethylpyrazine decreased. Fatty acid compositions were mainly consisted of linoleic acid(43.66~55.89%) and followed by oleic, palmitic, linolenic, stearic, arachidic, myristic acid. The organic acids we4re identified to be citric(28.2~30.6), acetic(50.0~73.3) and pyroglutamic acid(2.1~3.7).

  • Three new alkanol esters of d-2-(6-methoxy-2-naphthyl)propionic acid, NAPROXEN were synthesized by esterification of sodium naproxen with chloralcohols, such as 2-chloroethanol, 3-chloro-1, 2-propanediol and $\beta$-chloroethoxyethanol in dimethylformamide. These new esters were obtained with comparably high yield and identified by elemental analysis, UV, IR and NMR techniques.

생쥐 배아 동결시 전핵의 발생시기가 생존률과 발생률에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Age of Pronucleate Ova on Survival and Development in Cryopreservation of Mouse Embryos)

  • The effects of freezing and 1,2-propanediol on early and late pronucleate stage mouse ova were investigated in terms of survival after thawing and development in vitro. The samples were divided into two groups according to different age in pronucleate ova: ova in(1) early pronuclear stage with two distant pronuclei at 18h after hCG injection, and (2) late pronuclear stage with adjacent pronuclei at 30h. Zygotes in the late pronuclear stage have been proven to be more resistant to 1,2-propanediol, showing a significantly higher developmental rate than zygotes in early stage (80.3 versus 66.3%, <0.05), but survival rate was similar in the two groups (91.0 versus 93.5%). After freezing and thawing, survival and developmental rates were decreased in both groups when compared to the control group (54.3 versus 92.3%, 47.7 versus 73.3%. respectively). And developmental rate in the late pronuclear stage zygotes showed significantly higher than in early (55.4 versus 40.0%) after thawing. In conclusion, early pronucleate mouse ova have a lower developmental capacity in vitro and a lower survival rate after freezing and thawing than late ova. These findings suggest that the timing of freezing could be important for survival and further development in vitro in cryopreservation of human pronucleate ova.

AMP + AEPD와 AMP + TIPA 수용액을 이용한 이산화탄소의 흡수 및 재생 (Absorption and Regeneration of Carbon Dioxide in Aqueous AMP + AEPD and AMP + TIPA Solutions)

  • Increasing emission of $CO_2$ significantly effects the global warming. Chemical absorption is one of separation methods of $CO_2$ from the industrial flue gases. In this study, the $CO_2$ removal efficiency as well as the $CO_2$ absorption amount of aqueous AMP (2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol) solutions were measured using the continuous absorption and regeneration apparatus. We investigated the effect of aqueous AMP+AEPD(2-amino-2-ethyl-1, 3-propanediol) and AMP+TIPA (triisopropanolamine) solutions to enhance absorption characteristics of AMP. As a result of this study, the absorption amount and $CO_2$ removal efficiency were increased with adding TIPA into 30 wt.% AMP. The absorption amount and $CO_2$ removal efficiency of aqueous 30 wt.% AMP+5 wt.% TIPA solution were $1.70\;kg-CO_2/kg-absorbent$ and 91.1%, while those of aqueous 30 wt.% AMP solution were $1.58\;kg-CO_2/kg-absorbent$ and 89.3%. In addition, aqueous 30 wt.% AMP+5 wt.% TIPA solution used in the study revealed the high stripping efficiency, which was almost 98%, at the temperature of $110^{\circ}C$. Thus, the temperature of regenerator should be operated at $110^{\circ}C$.
