The Influence of Rosemary Oil Inhalation on Memory, Attention and Autonomic Nerve System on the Elderly by Different Concentration (농도별 로즈마리 오일 흡입이 노인의 기억력, 집중력 및 자율신경계 반응에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of rosemary oil inhalation on memory, attention and autonomic nervous system according to the concentration difference in the aged. The research design was non-equivalent control group non-synchronized design. Participants were 89 individuals aged 65 or older who live in the community. Participants inhaled almond carrier oil(control group), 10%(experimental group A) and 100%(experimental group B) rosemary oil. Memory, attention, and autonomic nervous system responses were measured. Data were analyzed by SPSS win 24.0. The differences of the group and time were analyzed through repeated measure ANOVA. There were no significant differences in immediate recall (F=.42, p =.656), delayed recall (F=.45, p=.639), recognition (F=1.45, p=.242), digit span-forward (F=1.53, p=.223), digit span-backward (F=.46, p=.636), activities of sympathetic nerve system (LF)(F=.19, p=.828), activities of parasympathetic nerve system (HF)(F=.37, p=.694), LH/HF(F=1.39, p=.256), systolic blood pressure (F=.37, p=.694), diastolic blood pressure (F=1.25, p=.291). The inhalation of 10% and 100% rosemary oil for five minutes showed no significant effects on memory, attention and automatic nervous system in the aged.

  • 터어보과급 디이젤 엔진의 저속 및 급가속영역에서 발생하는 매연의 배출을 억제하기 위하여 흡 입 공기량을 증가시키는 방안으로서 흡기관의 동적효과를 이용하기 위한 통합과급 시스템을 개발 하였다. 동조회전수에 있어서 음향임피던스 방법에 의하여 공명흡기관의 칫수를 결정하였고 흡입 공기 냉각기를 부착하여 전 회전영역에서의 흡입공기 밀도비를 증가시켰다. 기존 엔진을 변형한 두가지 시스템을 설계하여 성능측정을 하였으며, 이들에 대한 비교 및 실용성에 관해 자세히 언 급하였다.

  • 스크류 압축기는 진동이 적고, 소형이면서 고효율을 유지하기가 용이하다는 특징을 가지고 있으며, 원통형 밀패용기 내에 암,수로터가 서로 반대 방향으로 맞물려 회전하면서, 로터홈과 케이싱 사이에 생기는 공간의 용적이 로터회전에 의해서 가스를 흡입, 압축, 배출하는 합축기 이다. 본 연구는 로터의 치형 함수의 기하학적성질 및 제한사항을 고려하여, 대칭 치형을 치수의 조합과, 원, 점, 직선, 타원을 사용하여 비대칭 치형을 설계하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 설계된 치형과 기존의 치형을 치형 형상의 변화에 따른 특성값 (실라인길이, 누설삼각형, 용적곡선, 흡입 및 토출 홈면적)의 변화에 대하여 연구함으로서 성능검토를 시도하였다.

A Study on Aggregate Waste Separation Efficiency Using Adsorption System with Rotating Separation Net (회전분리망 흡착선별기의 순환 굵은골재 이물질 제거효율에 관한 연구)

  • Aggregate waste separator with rotating separating net was designed for applying classification process of construction waste. In order to evaluate the performance of the aggregate waste separator, according to the type of waste, standardized waste samples are prepared using acrylic. The appropriate operating point was evaluated by the classification efficiency and misclassification rate of recycled aggregate according to the control frequency of the blower operating and inlet position of the separating net. The classification efficiency at the operating point of the aggregate waste separator was evaluated through flow analysis assuming recycled aggregate and waste sample as particles. As a result of the performance test, when the distance. between the conveyor belt and the inlet was 0.2m, the classification efficiency was 95%, but the misclassification rate of recycled aggregate was 2% or more, which satisfies the classification efficiency and the misclassification rate of less than 2%. The operating point was shown at a control frequency of 58Hz at a suction distance of 0.254m. As a resu lt of flow analysis, there was no misclassification of recycled aggregate. In order to redu ce constru ction waste in the existing recycled aggregate production process, adsorption system using a rotating separating net that can be operated as an installation type was built.

Water tests of pumps for real-propellent tests of turbopump (실매질 시험용 터보펌프의 단품 수류시험)

  • Three Lox pumps and one fuel pump are manufactured for turbopump real-propellent tests and water tests of the pumps are performed in order to estimate the performance characteristics of the pumps. According to the test results, the test region(flow ratio, cavitation number) of the pumps at the water tests cover the operating region at the real-propellent tests and also all the pumps satisfy the design requirement. The head of the Lox pumps shows a 2% difference among them due to the internal geometry, but the efficiency and overall cavitation performance are almost same. It is found that the fuel pump has a similar head and efficiency compared with the previous model of the same internal geometry, while it has a little inferior cavitation performance.

Correct Use of Inhalers in Patients with Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (폐쇄성 폐질환자의 흡입기 사용 정확성 정도)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the correct use of inhalers and to examine the patients characteristics affecting correct use of inhalers in patients with obstructive pulmonary disease. Method: Subjects were 280 patients with obstructive pulmonary disease who visited the internal pulmonary outpatient departments in 2 university hospitals in Korea. Inhaler use of each patient was assessed using a checklist recommended by the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program Expert Panel. Result: Most subjects used a DPI or MDI. The overall mean score of correct use was 72.09. Most subjects responded they knew well how to use their inhalers. Most frequent error was 'not fully exhaling before inhalation'. A younger age, higher educational level, living with family, and awareness of inhaler use were significantly associated with correct use of inhalers. Conclusion: The findings of this study showed that most of patients were unable to use inhalers correctly even though they had prior educational experiences. Regular assessing of inhaler use and adequate inhaler education considering patients characteristics by nurses are needed.

  • 내연기관 연구에 전념하는 모든 사람들의 한결같은 3대 염원은 연비향상, 비출력증대 및 유해 배기가스 성분 감소이다. 이중 비과급 가솔린 기관의 경우 비출력 증대를 위한 4-stroke cycle 엔진에서의 여구는 현지까지 헤아릴 수 없이 많은 연구가 진행되어 발전의 한계에 도달한 느낌 이다. 따라서 이의 실질적인 증대는 시각을 달리하여 2-stroke cycle로의 전환으로서만 가능하리 라 본다. 2-stroke 엔진은 원래 이목적으로 고안된 것이라는 것은 주지의 사실이다. 그러나 이 장치가 비출력면에서 효과적인 가솔린엔진의 경우에서도 현재까지 별로 각광을 받지 못한 것은 다음과 같은 몇가지 두드러진 이유 때문이라고 본다. 첫째 흡입연료의 일부가 소기(scavenging) 과정에서 배기공으로 곧바로 유출됨으로 배기 공해성분을 증가시키고 연료손실에 따른 연비저감 을 초래하는 것이다. 둘째로 crankcase 소기를 이용하는 소형가솔린 2-stroke 엔진에서는 새 공 기의 흡입이 충분치 못하여 일방적으로 높지 않은 소기효율을 고려한 최종 흡입 체적효율은 상당 히 낮아지게 됨으로써 목적하는바의 비출력 증대의 득을 별로 얻지 못함은 물론 잔류가스율이 높아 저부하, 저속도에서 엔진의 구동이 손조롭지 못ㅎ하고 시동이 어려워지는 특성을 나타나게 된다. 따라서 이러한 바람직하지 못한 결과를 감수할 수 있는 경우에는 소형원동기에 주로 2-stroke 가솔린 엔진이 이용되어 왔다. 요사이 이러한 약점들을 타개할 수 있는 고안들이 미국 SAE지에 소개되어 관심을 끌고 있어 이에 대해 요저먹으로 소개하고자 한다.

  • Air-breathing Propulsion System is one of the promising propulsion systems because of low cost, easy storage, compactness and simplicity. A study of gas generator propellant for air-breathing propulsion system was performed in this paper. Amorphous Boron Powder was applied in propellant with various kinds of additives to determine combustion characteristics. And boron beads were made to apply them to the propellant. Combustion characteristics of propellant using amorphous boron powder and boron beads was compared.
