This study was conducted to develop an automation system of inoculation processing of a lily callus. The results are summarized as followings: The end-effector was manufactured as suction and machine type. And these end-effectors can separate the callus from the mediums and divide the separated callus and then inoculate the divided callus to new mediums. Using the machine type end-effect0r, the results of the experiment showed the success rate in the division process was 100% while the separation and inoculation process was 92%. To develop the automation controller of inoculation process, the system was developed to control an external device and the manipulator. The data communication program between a robot and a personal computer was also developed using CAsyncsocket and Ethernet Interface.

Recently, with developments in the automotive industry, sound and vibration damping have a considerable attraction with a diversified customer needs and advanced automobile. In general, among various materials, textile materials, such as felt and glass fibers, polyurethane foam, and PET fiber materials were used to reduce sound and vibration of the automobile. These materials were located in various main parts of the automobile to block sound and vibration, resulting in a comfortable ride. In addition, to improve fuel economy, weight reduction and cost saving for the automobile were also being considered together as well as the reduction of sound and vibration of the automobile. Therefore, in this paper, we focused on the need of interior sound and vibration absorption materials in the automobile and absorption materials-related technologies.

We describe cytologic findings of two cases of pilomatrixoma which had been cytologically misdiagnosed as suspicious malignant and malignant lesions in 35 year-old and 22 year-old females who presented a palpable neck mass. The cytologic smears showed many basaloid cells with a high nuclear-cytoplasmic ratio, nuclear hyperchromatism and prominent nucleoli, keratinized squamous cells with pyknotic nuclei, foreign body giant cells, and chronic inflammatory cells in necrotic back-ground. Retrospective view of this aspiration smear revealed that these findings were characteristic features of pilomatrixoma, and the evenly distributed chromatin pattern as well as the lack of nuclear pleomorphism were considered to be the differential points from malignant neoplasm. Pilomatrixoma is a benign neoplasm which should be included in differential diagnosis if the fine needle aspiration cytologic smear of a neck mass or subcutaneous mass of any site showed these features.

Purpose : Palpable lymph nodes are common in the pediatric population, and most of them are either inflammatory or congenital. As the diagnostic evaluation, fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) is known to be more convenient and economical than tissue biopsy. We evaluated the usefulness of FNAC in children and adolescents. Methods : Four hundred and thirteen FNAC samples(M : F=1 : 1.15) were retrospectively analyzed in patients who were brought to Inha University Hospital, from August 1999 to August 2004. Results : The most common age group was 16-20 years of age(N=148, 35.8 percent). The cervical area was the most frequently involved site(N=310, 75 percent). Non-specific lymphadenitis was the most common(N=227, 54.9 percent), followed by the benign neoplasm(N=59, 14.2 percent). Malignant tumors were 18 cases(4.3 percent), and congenital diseases were found in 10 cases(2.4 percent). In inflammatory lesions, tuberculous lymphadenitis(N=22, 5.3 percent) was the most common with a histologic sensitivity of 90.9 percent. The peripheral blood and serologic studies were non-specific. Fifty nine percent(N=244) of lymphadenitis improved without specific management. Antibiotics were prescribed in 15.2 percent of lymphadenitis and lymphadenectomy was performed in 12.6 percent. Conclusion : Most of the enlarged lymph nodes in children and adolescents were benign. These results show FNAC is a safe, rapid and reliable diagnostic procedure for the appropriate differential diagnosis of enlarged lymph nodes in children and adolescents.

Initial rapid diagnosis of primary pulmonary cryptococcosis(PPC) occurring in a immunocompetent host was made by transthoracic fine needle aspiration cytology of a solitary subpleural nodule. Numerous refractile spherical organisms surrounded by a clear halo were demonstrated with haematoxylin-eosin and Papanicolaou stains. The organisms, $5{\sim}15{\mu}m$ in diameter, were easily demonstrated with Gomori methenamine-silver stain. Many of the organisms showed narrow-base budding. Carminophilic cell walls were well demonstrated with mucicarmine stain.

Purpose: This study aimed to confirm the effect of routine suctioning at a nursery for healthy newborns who have undergone immediate oronasopharyngeal bulb suctioning after birth in a delivery room through the observation of their oxygen saturation level, heart rate, respiration rate, the vomiting sign, and the number of instances of vomiting. Methods: Data were collected for 62 days from March 15 to May 15, 2009 at the nursery of a hospital located in Seoul. One hundred forty newborns were assigned to one of three groups: a no suction group, an oropharyngeal suction group, or a orogastric suction group. Collected data were analyzed with the SPSS WIN 15.0 program using ANOVA, cross tabulations and an independent 2-sample t-test. Results: Routine suctioning to healthy newborns resulted in decreasing oxygen saturation levels and increasing the heart and respiration rate regardless of the kind of suctioning. Stabilization of the oxygen saturation level and vital signs was also observed without suctioning. Conclusion: To prevent healthy newborns from the side effect of suctioning, selective suctioning is recommended.

The common rail diesel engine used in this study uses mechanically driven camshaft for the operation of intake and exhaust valves, and the timing of valve opening and closing is fixed according to the operating conditions of the vehicle. However, the electric generator engine operates at a constant speed and partial load. Therefore, in order to optimize the design of common rail diesel engine for power generation, the characteristics of diesel combustion and emissions according to the change of valve timing were examined and calculated in terms of fuel economy. The valve timing of the diesel engine influenced the combustion characteristics by changing the intake and exhaust flow and it was considered that the fuel efficiency of the generator could be improved.

Veterinary antibiotics can enter the soil ecosystem and then may be transported into groundwater via leaching process. The main aim of this study is to investigate the distribution and mobility of tetracycline, amoxicillin and sulfathiazole in soil. The adsorption of veterinary antibiotics were applied to the Freundlich adsorption isotherms. Adsorption coefficient ($K_F$) was indicated oxytetracycline > amoxicillin > sulfathiazole. Oxytetracycline concentration was highly detected in soil than in leachate. It is assumed that oxytetracycline was strongly absorbed by divalent cations such as $Ca^{2+}$ in soil. However, amoxicillin and sulfathiazole were shown higher mobility due to the lower distribution coefficient.

This paper introduces a methodology of transforming an existing ontology into the one that satisfies its application. The transformation consists of simplification and realization of word category information. They are based on category headings and base categories. Furthermore, this paper describes a method by which we can identify relationships between category sets. Through the transformation, (1) Roget's thesaurus is reorganized into 7 categories and the base of 'Ontology for Narrative'[32], (2) 22 immersion factors of multimedia games can be subdivided into 207 factors in [35], and (3) the relationships between 10 mental factors and 22 immersion factors of multimedia games are identified in [36].

Irregular motions of nonlinear dynamic system are the result of an intrinsic characteristics that the system have, and sometimes occur unpredictable large motion. For a ship in a regular seaway, the capsizing occur because of this unexpectable motion. So, from the safety's point of view, nonlinear ship motions should be treated carefully. In this study, stable and unstable regions are investigated firstly under the variation of a control external force. Secondly, we consider the attractors to know how ship motions of the stable region that does not undergo capsizing change. Thirdly, bifurcation diagram is considered to study the range in detail where nonlinear chaotic motions are occurred.
