  • We produced true ortho images after interpolating occlusion areas and relief displacement of building as well as producing ortho-images to use backward image of ADS which is a aerial digital camera of line type. Also, I was able to produce high quality ortho-images using a small mount of Ground Control Points(GCP) relatively to compare to frame type camera from the evaluation of horizontal position accuracy using ground check points, photo control points for the verification of ortho-images and true-ortho images. Also, I was able to verify the effectiveness in interpolating occlusion areas cause the length overlap was 100% when producing true-ortho images of line type camera.

  • In this paper, we propose a hardware design for correction of barrel distortion using the nearest coordinates in the corrected image. Because it applies the nearest distance on corrected image rather than adjacent distance on distorted image, the picture quality is improved by the image whole area, solve the staircase phenomenon in the exterior area. But, because of additional arithmetic operation using design of bilinear interpolation, required arithmetic operation is increased. Look up table(LUT) structure is proposed in order to solve this, coordinate rotation digital computer(CORDIC) algorithm is applied. The results of the synthesis using Design compiler, the design of implementing all processes of the interpolation method with the hardware is higher than the previous design about the throughput, In case of the rear camera, the design of using LUT and hardware together can reduce the size than the design of implementing all processes with the hardware.

  • In this study, We modeled the deck house of the container ship like the representative bluff body and made the model ship. By using the PIV technique, the exhaust gas anti-reflux effect of the deck house backward according to open and close of the Sunken Deck and installation of the deflector in deck house side were measured in circulating water channel. The experiment system consists of hi-speed camera, laser, image board, host computer. The mean velocity vector and time mean axial velocity were found in deck house backward and the results were compared each case.

  • In this paper, it was proposed to develop front and rear image monitoring system for vehicle that help a driver to cope with urgent situation about a dangerous element. When parking a vehicle, the risk factors to be formed by the dead zone can be resolved by using anterior and posterior cameras of the vehicle. In embedded system environment, a SoC(System on Chip) and two high-resolution CMOS (Complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor) image sensors were used to transfer two high-resolution image data through he TCP/ IP-based network. To transfer image data through he TCP/ IP-based network, the images received by two cameras were compressed by using H.264 and they were transmitted with wireless method(Wi-Fi) by using real-time transport protocol (Real-time Transport Protocol). Transmission loss, transmission delay and transmission limit were solved in wireless (Wi-Fi) environment and the bit-rate of two image data compressed by H.264 was adjusted. And the system for the optimal transmission in wireless (Wi-Fi) environment was materialized and experimented.

  • The frequency and severity of traffic accidents related to signalized intersections in urban areas have been more serious than those in both arterial segments and crosswalks. Especially, traffic accidents involved with injuries and fatalities have caused by traffic signal violations within intersections. Therefore, many countries including Korea have installed the red light enforcement camera (RLE) to reduce traffic accidents associated with the traffic signal violation. Meanwhile, many methodologies have been studied in terms of safety impacts estimation of red light enforcement, which, however, cannot be easy to conduct. In this study, safety impacts was estimated for intersections of Chicago downtown area using SPF models and EB approach. As a result, for all crash types and target traffic accident types such as "angle", "rear end", "sideswipe in the same and other directions", "turn", and "head on", fatal crashes were reduced by 26% and 38%. However, RLE may increase property-demage-only-crashes by 3.23% and 1.16%, respectively.

  • The image processing device sold by the market, which increases the comfort of the driver Around-View of the camera. This system while driving or when parked, came about to prevent accidents caused by driver error or disable the visibility of the system. However, it did not spread widely to the driver due to the problem of the high installation cost and complex installation process from the system for easy operation. Due to problems such as first, expensive equipment and second, the development environment is difficult and third, inconvenient installation process, it is not out because of the prohibitively high cost burden and difficult development environment, programmers and operators. I think if this is solved even one problem of this system would be able to access the user are a little more affordable. In this paper The AVM(Around-View Monitoring) system is proposed, the two problems that minimize expensive equipment, the installation process is inconvenient problem of the three aforementioned systems. Solved the problem caused by a lot of the cost by using low-cost USB device, and a rear camera. Was developed to facilitate the installation is possible by considering the inconvenient installation. Reducing the price paid by consumers because of the system.

  • Driver's view has blind spot of automobile surroundings due to physical components of automobile architecture. Obstacles on blind spot are the cause of car destruction and car accidents. Cars which produced in recent have obstacle detection sensors and rear view cameras which provide information of obstacles on the blind sopt, and have also AVM(Around View Monitoring) which provides automobile surroundings for driver's safe driving. During a low-speed travel while parking or moving in a narrow street, a driver get help for safe driving by taking information of automobile surroundings using the above-mentioned devices. In this paper, we present a design and implementation of a 4-sided monitoring (4SM) system, which helps a driver see an integrated view of a vehicle's perimeter at a glance, using a car PC connected to four cameras installed on the front, rear, left, and right sides.

  • 자동차는 이제는 없어서는 안 될 인간의 생활필수품이 되었다고 하여도 과언이 아닐 정도로 많은 보급이 이루어졌다. 이와 같은 자동차의 보급으로 인하여 사람들은 보다 편리하고 안전한 자동차를 추구하게 되었고 산업체에서는 지능화된 자동차를 통해 고객의 요구에 부응하기 위한 연구와 제품 개발을 계속하고 있다. 지능형 자동차를 위하여 많은 분야의 기술들이 자동차와 융합되어 나타나고 있으며, 그 중에서도 최근 북미에서 발표된 '후방 카메라 탑재 의무화'로 인해 영상인식과 자동차의 융합에 많은 관심이 모아지고 있다. 본고에서는 최근 각광을 받고 있는 자동차용 영상인식에 대한 알고리즘 및 영상인식 SoC기술동향 등에 대해서 알아보도록 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 경첩 발목 보조기(Hinged Ankle Foot Orthoses, HAFO)의 착용이 경직성 뇌성마비 아동의 보행 시 신체 질량 중심점(Center of Mass, COM)에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 실험은 보조 기구의 사용 없이 독립적인 보행이 가능한 경직성 뇌성마비 아동(하지마비 아동 8명, 편마비 아동 5명) 13명이 참여하였다. 34개의 적외선 반사 마커를 신체에 직접 부착한 뒤, 6대의 동작분석 카메라로 맨발 보행과 HAFO착용 보행을 각 5회 촬영하였다. 전-후방, 내-외측, 수직 방향으로의 COM의 이동과 COM 속도를 계산하여 HAFO착용 전 후를 대응표본 T검정으로 분석하였다. HAFO 착용은 양하지 마비 아동 그룹은 COM의 전방 이동이 유의하게 증가하였고(p<0.01), COM 속도는 내-외측과 수직 방향에서 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.01). 반면 편마비 아동 그룹은 COM 이동과 속도가 모든 방향에서 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.01). 따라서 HAFO는 뇌성마비 아동의 보행 기능을 개선시킨다고 할 수 있다.

  • 최근 무인항공기 (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, UAV)에 장착한 카메라를 활용하여 사용자의 눈높이가 아닌 새로운 시각에서 사용자를 촬영한 영상을 제공한다. 사용자를 추적하며 촬영하기 위해 저전력 블루투스 (Bluetooth Low Energy, BLE) 신호, 영상, 그리고 Natural User Interface/Natual User Experience(NUI/NUX) 기술을 활용한다. BLE 신호로 사용자를 추적하는 경우 사용자의 후방에서 추적하며 사용자만을 추적하며 촬영 가능한 문제가 있다. 하지만 복수의 사용자를 전방에서 추적하며 촬영하는 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 복수의 사용자를 추적하며 전방에서 촬영하기 위해 UAV의 비행방향을 결정하는 방법을 설명한다. 복수의 사용자로부터 측정 가능한 BLE 신호들을 UAV에서 측정한다. 복수개의 BLE 신호의 변화를 활용하여 UAV의 비행방향을 결정한다.
