  • This study aims to suggest development model for ICT Teaching and Learning System adopting collective intelligence. First, we defined program modules according to functions which multimedia online encyclopedia-type e-textbook should have. Then, we also specified content information creating rules and procedures and content information searching methods. Finally, we developed the prototype which suggests user interface to collect and search information adopting information visualizing techniques. This study has significance in suggesting advanced form of ICT system in which qualified teachers can create, accumulate, and share information and students can explore information and expand search in self-directed manner.

  • 양방향 스위치를 가지는 Bridgeless PFC 컨버터(BBPFC)는 구조상 복잡한 플로팅 게이트 드라이버를 활용함에도 불구하고 좋은 공통모드 잡음 즉, Common-Mode (CM) 노이즈 특성과 간단한 제어 방법으로 인해 많은 브리지리스 PFC 컨버터 중에서도 고전력 응용분야에서 매우 매력적인 토폴로지이다. 이러한 BBPFC는 도통 경로 상에 위치한 정류 다이오드의 역회복 특성의 상대적인 편차를 활용하여 전력 밀도를 감소시키지 않고도 좋은 공통모드 (CM) 노이즈 특성의 확보가 가능하다. 하지만 이러한 장점을 가지는 BBPFC 구조를 고전력 서버용 전원장치분야에서 활용할 경우, 이미 등록된 특허로 인해 매우 높은 개런티를 지불해야 하므로 그 활용이 매우 제한적이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이미 등록된 특허를 회피하고, 동시에 기존 BBPFC 회로가 가지는 단점인 플로팅 게이트 드라이버를 활용하는 단점을 개선하는 새로운 형태의 브리지리스 PFC 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안된 컨버터는 기존 BBPFC가 가지는 장점인 좋은 (CM) 노이즈 특성을 가지며, 동시에 높은 효율을 달성 할 수 있다. 또한 제안된 컨버터의 경우, 복잡한 플로팅 형태의 게이트 드라이버 회로가 아닌 간단한 부트스트랩 회로를 활용하여 회로를 운용할 수 있다. 더불어 제안된 컨버터는 입력의 양과 음의 주기에서 단 하나의 스위치를 사용하여 회로를 구동할 수 있기 때문에 기존회로 대비 적은 손실을 가져 높은 효율의 획득이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 구조에 대해 하이라인 $230V_{RMS}$ 입력과 800W / 400V 출력의 조건을 적용하여 제안하는 구조의 효용성을 검증하고자 한다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to verify the effectiveness of maintenance method using GPR exploration by buried detective materials in the ground for efficient maintenance of recovered cavities. Method: EMI sheet, EMI paint, and ferronickel slag were used as the detection materials, and the experiment was conducted by varying the size and depth of the buried detectable material. Results: As a result of the exploration, Detectable influence range by GPR exploration was found depending on the size and depth of buried detectable material in all materials, and the possibility of using it as a detection material was confirmed.

  • In order to effectively process target recognition using radar, accurate signal information for the target is required. However, such a target signal is usually mixed with noise, and this part of the study is continuously carried out. Especially, image processing, target signal processing and target recognition for the target are examples. Since the field of target recognition is important from a military point of view, this paper carried out research on target recognition of aircraft using a tree-structured fuzzy neural networks. Fuzzy neural networks are learned by using reflected signal data for an aircraft to optimize the model, and then test data for the target are used for the optimized model to perform an experiment on target recognition. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the simulation results.

  • Composite material is recently very important material for eco-friendly vehicles because of its excellent mechanical property and lightweight effect. So, many research results have been recently published for developing the composite material to apply vehicles. In this paper, new brake system is presented using composite material to response this situation. And advantages in terms of performance compared to competitive company will be discussed in depth to verify superiorities of the new composite brake. To do so, composite brake systems which have the same size as the competitive company to the same vehicle is applied. And superiorities through a variety of test results are presented. First, normal braking performances are compared with competitive company through braking effect, heat capacity and friction test, Second, circuit driving and high speed fade test are also verified with competitive company to confirm harsh braking performances for the new composite brake system. Finally, the effects of applying the composite brake to automobile industry like electric car are analyzed.

  • The objective of the interoperation of L-V-C Simulation is to enable practical integration training by taking advantages and compensating disadvantages of simulation models, such as Live, Virtual and Constructive models. As a study on the interoperation of L-V-C simulation, this paper suggests effective interoperation method between Virtual and Constructive simulation models and demonstrates small-size intagrated combat training model through V-C Test-Bed.

  • 최근 기계번역 분야는 괄목할만한 발전을 보였으나, 번역 결과의 오류가 불완전한 의미의 왜곡으로 이어지면서 사용자로 하여금 불편한 반응을 야기하거나 사회적 파장을 초래하는 경우가 존재한다. 특히나 오역에 의해 변질된 의미로 인한 경제적 손실 및 위법 가능성, 안전에 대한 잘못된 정보 제공의 위험, 종교나 인종 또는 성차별적 발언에 의한 파장은 실생활과 문제가 직결된다. 이러한 문제를 완화하기 위해, 기계번역 품질 예측 분야에서는 치명적 오류 감지(Critical Error Detection, CED)에 대한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 한국어에 관련해서는 연구가 존재하지 않으며, 관련 데이터셋 또한 공개된 바가 없다. AI 기술 수준이 높아지면서 다양한 사회, 윤리적 요소들을 고려하는 것은 필수이며, 한국어에서도 왜곡된 번역의 무분별한 증식을 낮출 수 있도록 CED 기술이 반드시 도입되어야 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 영어-한국어 기계번역 분야에서의 치명적 오류를 감지하는 KoCED(English-Korean Critical Error Detection) 데이터셋을 구축 및 공개하고자 한다. 또한 구축한 KoCED 데이터셋에 대한 면밀한 통계 분석 및 다국어 언어모델을 활용한 데이터셋의 타당성 실험을 수행함으로써 제안하는 데이터셋의 효용성을 면밀하게 검증한다.

Building Boundary Extraction from Airborne LIDAR Data (항공 라이다자료를 이용한 건물경계추출에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the increasing need for 3D spatial data, modeling of topography and artificial structures plays an important role in three-dimensional Urban Analysis. This study suggests a methodology for solving the problem of calculation for the extraction of building boundary, minimizing the user's intervention, and automatically extracting building boundary, using the LIDAR data. The methodology suggested in this study is characterized by combining the merits of the point-based process and the image-based process. The procedures for extracting building boundary are three steps: 1) LIDAR point data are interpolated to extract approximately building region. 2) LIDAR point data are triangulated in each individual building area. 3) Extracted boundary of each building is then simplified in consideration of its area, minimum length of building.The performance of the developed methodology is evaluated using real LIDAR data. Through the experiment, the extracted building boundaries are compared with digital map.

  • Due to the recent surge in single-person households, solitary death is drawing attention as an important social problem. We herein develop an adaptive monitoring system using RFID to protect the socially disadvantaged who are exposed to the risk of solitary death. The developed system consists of a wearable RFID tag, an RFID reader attached to the residence, and a user monitoring App. The developed system measures the retention time of a user with a wearable tag in a place where a reader is attached. When the retention time exceeds an adaptively determined threshold, an emergency notification is sent to the caregiver. We verify the effectiveness of the designed system by implementing a prototype modeling a residence based on Arduino.

  • Currently, the automation and intelligence of the shipbuilding industry have improved its work production capacity and cost competitiveness, but the reduction rate of safety accidents among industrial site workers is still low and the damage caused by safety accidents is very serious, so there is a need for improvement according to the workplace. This research aims to demonstrate the connectivity between smart safety helmets in the demonstration area to verify the effectiveness along with the development of smart helmets for worker protection and environmental safety in shipyards. For efficient communication between workers, impact noise of over 95dB was confirmed in the workplace, and noise reduction was required. To solve this problem, the filtering performance was compared and analyzed using the Butterworth, Chebyshev, and elliptic algorithms. The connectivity test and noise reduction method between smart helmets proposed in this study will increase the usability and safety of the field through the development of advanced smart helmets tailored to the shipbuilding workplace in the future.
