경시적 자료의 계층적 베이즈 분석

  • 본 논문의 목적은 계층적 베이즈 일반화 선형모형을 이용하여 경시적 자료를 분석하는 것이다. 구체적으로 계층적 베이즈 변량효과 모형을 소개하고 무정보적 사전분포 하에서 사후분포가 진(proper)인지에 대한 충분조건을 찾는다 또한, 깁스(Gibbs) 표본자를 사용하여 제안된 계층적 베이즈 절차의 수행에 관해 논의한다. 현실자료를 사용하여 제안된 계층적 베이즈 분석을 예시하고, 이에 대응하는 경험적 베이즈 분석과 비교한다.

A Bayesian Method to Semiparametric Hierarchical Selection Models (준모수적 계층적 선택모형에 대한 베이지안 방법)

  • Meta-analysis refers to quantitative methods for combining results from independent studies in order to draw overall conclusions. Hierarchical models including selection models are introduced and shown to be useful in such Bayesian meta-analysis. Semiparametric hierarchical models are proposed using the Dirichlet process prior. These rich class of models combine the information of independent studies, allowing investigation of variability both between and within studies, and weight function. Here we investigate sensitivity of results to unobserved studies by considering a hierachical selection model with including unknown weight function and use Markov chain Monte Carlo methods to develop inference for the parameters of interest. Using Bayesian method, this model is used on a meta-analysis of twelve studies comparing the effectiveness of two different types of flouride, in preventing cavities. Clinical informative prior is assumed. Summaries and plots of model parameters are analyzed to address questions of interest.

  • 지역빈도해석은 수문학에서 오랜 역사를 갖고 있으며, 수년에 걸쳐 수문학적 변량의 정량적 추정을 위해 다양한 접근방법들이 제안되어 왔다. 그러나 제안된 방법들의 가설설정 수준이 높기 때문에 실제 적용에 제약이 많고, 적용 시에도 예측에 대한 불확실성이 높은 문제점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위한 방법으로 계층적 베이지안 모델을 이용한 지역빈도해석 모형을 제안하고자 한다. 본 모형은 2개의 계층적 구조로 구성된다. 첫번째 계층은 재현기간별 GEV 분포의 매개변수를 정규화하여 주변분포로 설정하고, Kriging 기법을 이용하여 지형학적, 기상학적 정보들과 극치강수량 효과를 적합시켜 공간적 이질성과 미계측 유역에 대한 효과적인 보간을 가능하게 한다. 두번째 계층은 지점의 특성을 나타내는 매개변수들간의 공분산을 Bayesian 모델에 연계하여 매개변수들의 공간적 변동성을 나타낸다. 2개 계층의 결합확률분포는 MCMC 기법을 이용하여 예측값에 대한 불확실성을 정량적으로 분석하게 된다. 본 모형을 통해 홍수량 추정 시 필요한 시간 단위 극치강수량의 공간적 분포를 효과적으로 추정할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • Electricity and heat load profiles by use types on an hourly basis at the least are essential for assessing economic viability of new cogeneration and CES projects and for optimally operating existing cogeneration and CES facilities. We adopt a multilevel model to specify heat load profiles so as to utilize in a flexible manner the panel nature of our data on weather and heating/cooling use. Converting the multilevel model to the linear mixed-effects model, we estimate the model by panel FGLS. The estimated load profile model for each distinct use type accounts for the effects of temperature, humidity, each hour over the year, each day of the week, each type of legal holidays, and heating/cooling area on energy use. To save space, we feature in detail the heating profile of the household.

  • In this study, a model of the effects of advertising on an employee's organizational identification was proposed by combining psychological contract, social identity theory with hierarchy of effect model. Our empirical results show that perceived accuracy of message in advertising affected attitude toward advertising significantly while perceived relevance of message with respondents' department didn't. And attitude toward advertising influenced employee's organizational identification. New findings in this research is the role of attitude toward advertising influencing on employee's organizational identification as mediator variable.

  • The study examines households' auto ownership and car type choice with a nested legit model. In summary. ${\rho}^2$ and the inclusive values, which represent the goodness of fit of the model, are statistically significant. Therefore. the nested logit model is superior to the standard legit model in this case. Also. the elasticity of operating costs is larger than 1, which means households' car ownership and car type choice is very sensitive to the operating costs. Finally, the elasticity of the operating costs in the lower income group is higher than that or the operating costs in the higher income group.

  • 본 논문에서는 이론적, 실무적 선행연구들에 대한 검토를 토대로 통합적인 정보격차 요인모형을 제시하고 정보격차 요인모형에서 도출된 변수들과 기존정책들을 중심으로 표적집단심층면접법(Focus Group Interview, FGI)를 이용하여 정보취약계층인 장애인, 노인층, 저소득층을 대상으로 정보활용기회를 확대하기 위한 방안들을 실증적으로 도출하였으며 또한 기존 정책에 대한 만족도 및 효과성을 측정하였다. FGI 조사결과 취약계층별로 차별화된 정책적 요구사항이 도출되었으며, 통합적으로 정보접근, 정보이용, 정보활용을 지원할 수 있는 통합적 지원체계가 가장 절실한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 취약계층별 개별 대상자의 개별적인 정보화수준 및 요구사항을 반영하기 위하여 개별 인적자원에 대한 통합관리가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 아울러, 정보접근정책 및 정보이용지원정책, 정보활용지원정책별로 포괄적인 만족도 조사를 실시한 결과 공히 만족도 수준이 보통이하인 것으로 나타나 개별 정책에 대한 지원전략의 수정이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

Dual Trajectory Modeling Approach to Analyzing Latent Classes in Youth Employees' Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention Trajectories (청년 취업자의 직무만족도와 이직의사 변화의 잠재계층에 대한 이중 변화형태 모형의 적용)

  • The purposes of the present study were (1) to identify the latent classes depending on youth employees' trajectories in job satisfaction and turnover intention and (2) to test the effects of person-job fit(major fit, education level fit, skill level fit) on job satisfaction and turnover intention using Youth Panel 2001. In order to estimate latent classes of job satisfaction and turnover intention changes simultaneously and study probabilities linking latent class membership in trajectory across the two variables, we applied dual trajectory model, an extension of semi-parametric group-based approach, Results showed that four latent classes were identified for job satisfaction, which were defined, based on the trajectory patterns, as increasing group, decreasing group, medium-level group, and high-level group. And, three latent classes estimated for turnover intention were defined as low-level group, maintaining group, and rapidly decreasing group. To test the effects of person-job fit variables, we added the variables as time-dependant variables to the unconditional latent class model. The effect of education level fit and skill level fit were found significant in the groups which are low in job satisfaction and have high in turnover intention. Findings from this study suggest the need to consider trajectory heterogeneity in the study of youth employees' job satisfaction and turnover intention to capture the dynamic dimension of overlap between the two constructs.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the double mediating the effects of social support and self-esteem in the relationship between the subjective social class and the suicide thoughts of middle aged men and women. The subjective social class was analyzed in a parallel double-mediated model to check the mediating effect of self-esteem and social support on the idea of suicide. Social support and self-respect, which are mediating variables of subjective social class on suicide idea, both were a statistically significant. Putting the results of this study together, it is essential to establish a living-based social support system for middle-aged adults. This will contribute to improving self-esteem among middle-aged adults.

  • In the study of traffic safety, the analysis on factors affecting crash severity and the understanding about their relationship is important to be planning and execute to improve safety of road and traffic facilities. The purpose of this study is to develop a hierarchical binomial logistic model to identify the significant factors affecting fatal injuries and vehicle damages of traffic crashes on freeway. Two models on death and total vehicle damage are developed. The hierarchical structure of response variable is composed of two level, crash-occupant and crash-vehicle. As a result, we have gotten the crash-level random effect from these hierarchical structure as well as the fixed effect of covariates, namely odds ratio. The crash on the main line and in-out section have greater damage than other facilities. Injuries and vehicle damages are severe in case of traffic violations, centerline invasion and speeding. Also, collision crash and fire occurrence is more severe damaged than other crash types. The surrounding environment of surface conditions by climate and visibility conditions by day and night is a significant factor on crash occurrence. On the orher hand, the geometric condition of road isn't.
