1994.11.6부터 11.10까지 필리핀, 마니라시에서 국제수도협회 아태지역회의가 개최되었다. 이 회의는 시내 웨스턴 프라자호텔 국제회의장에서 열렸으며 수자원보존, 수자원체제 관리운영 수질향상 노력 배수관리 운영등 다양한 주제가 발표되었다. 여기에는 우리나라에서 한국수도협회 곽영필회장이 이끄는 15명의 한국대표단이 참가하였고 국제수도협회 인사와 필리핀 수도협회 인사를 위시하여 40여국에서 2,000여명이 참석하였다. 특히 개회식에는 라모스 필리핀 대통령이 참석하여 연설하였으며 연설문을 다음에 게재한다.

이 글은 1989년 9월 4일부터 9일까지 홍콩대학에서 있었던 국제회의 결과 보고서이다. 유네스코가 후원한 이 회의에는 20여개국에서 28명이 참석하였으며, 모든 참석자가 country paper를 발표하고 주제에 관련된 토의를 거쳐 최종 보고서를 작성하였다. 학교교육 밖에서 과학기술의 대중화를 위한 방안을 모색해보는 새로운 내용이라서 그 전문을 소개한다.

In this study, we proposed the FRAD concept model of authority data schema for author, organization and journal titles included in the academic papers. Academic information includes author names, affiliations, publishers, journals and conferences. They are used as access points, and there are multiple relationships among these entities. It is expected that the use of authority data for academic information based on FRAD conceptual model could improve more accurate retrieval of information, systematic management of academic information, and various forms of knowledge representation. In this study, our entity-relationship authority data will be linked to the document, and included the several properties and relationship to identify the object.

지난 6월 4일부터 6일까지 포르투갈 포르투 쉐라톤호텔에서 개최된 2015년 세계인쇄회의에 대한인쇄문화협회 조정석 회장을 비롯한 유창준 전무이사, 조갑준 편집국 부장, 박근광 국제부 과장 등 4명으로 조직된 한국대표단이 참석, 2016년 8월 30일부터 9월 2일까지 우리나라에서 개최되는 세계인쇄회의의 성공 개최와 세계 각국 대표들의 보다 많은 참석을 위한 적극적인 홍보 활동을 전개했다. 특히 조정석 인협 회장은 각국 대표들과 수많은 공식, 비공식 만남을 통해 2016년 세계인쇄회의 참석을 적극 독려했다. 또한 마이클 마킨(미국) WPCF(World Print and Communication Forum) 회장은 이사회를 대표해 2016년에 보다 많은 국가의 참가와 성공적인 행사 개최를 위해 다양한 지원 방안을 강구할 것이라고 약속했다. 아울러 한국대표단은 공식행사가 진행되기 전인 6월 3일, 리스본에 위치한 포르투갈 인쇄협회를 방문해 양국 인쇄업계 교류의 물꼬를 트는 한편, 2016년 세계인쇄회의를 홍보하고 참석을 독려했다.

ITU 교토전권위원회(1994) 결의 15와 결의 39에 의거, ITU의 회원제도, 재정 강화방안, 조직체계 등을 폭넓게 재검토하고 작업결과를 ‘98년 전권위원회에 보고하게 될 ITU-2000 Working Group 1차 회의가 ’96년 10월 24$\~$25일 동안 스위스 제네바에서 개최되었다. 본 Working Group은 ‘96년 6월 개최된 제7차 ITU 이사회의 결정에 따라 설립되었으며, 이번 1차 회의에는 Member State(''M'' member)와 Sector member(''m'' member)들로부터 대표 120명이 참석하였다. 한편 금번 회의에서는 본 Working Group에서 검토하여야 할 의제와 관련한 지금까지의 연구결과에 대한 검토와 의제 관련 사안들에 대한 개선 기본방향에 대한 토의, 사무국 구성 승인 및 향후 작업일정 계획 등이 다루어졌다. 본 고에서는 ITU-2000 Working Group의 설립 배경과 임무, 금번 1차 회의 주요내용, 그리고 향후 작업일정계획 등에 대해 소개키로 한다.

우리는 지난 11월 21일 국민투표를 통해 역사적인 유신헌법을 절대다수의 찬성으로 가결시켜 유신헌정의 터전을 마련하였다. 그리고 곧 이어서 이 헌법에 의해 새로이 마련될 통일주체국민회의를 구성할 2,359명의 대의원을 선출하기 위핸 선거법과 동시행령이 공포되고, 그 선거를 실시하게 되었다. 통일주체국민회의는 다른 어떤 나라의 헌정에도, 또한 과거 우리 나라에서도 일찍이 없었던 특수한 국가기구로서 남북으로 분단된 우리 민족의 특수한 상황에 입각하여 조국의 평화적 통일을 추구할 수 있도록 국력을 조직화하고 민족주체세력을 형상하는 중요한 기구이다. 그러므로 깨끗하고 올바른 선거로서 가장 양심적이며 능력있고 통일의 시대를 이끌 사명감에 투철하며, 평화통일을 위해 겅실히 노력할 수 있는 인물을 통일주체국민회의대의원으로 뽑아야 할 것이다. 그리하여 안정과 번영, 그리고 조국통일로 민족중흥을 다짐할 유신헌정의 우람한 출범을 위해 견고한 초석을 하져야 하겠다. 그러면 이와 같이 막중한 통일주체국민회의 대의원선거의 의의를 알아 보도록 하자.

Purpose : Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis(FSGS) is known to have a poor prognosis and a poor response to treatment. We performed a combination therapy of plasmapheresis, steroid pulse and immunoglobulin in 4 patients with relapsed steroid dependent(SD) or steroid resistant(SR) FSGS after steroid pulse therapy. Materials and Methods : 8 cycles of plasmapheresis were performed in 4 patients with biopsy proven FSGS who had relapsed after steroid pulse therapy from March 1988 to July 2002. Clinical findings and treatment courses were reviewed retrospectively. Results : Among the 4 patients, there were 3 males and 1 female. After 8 cycles of plasmapheresis, clinical remissions were obtained. Two of the four patients had two relapses and received 2 more cycles of plasmapheresis which resulted in remissions. One of these patients had two further relapses and was treated with oral steroid resulting in clinical remission. Three patients have maintained normal serum creatinine level and glomerular filtration rates during the follow-up period of 10 years, and the other 1 patient for 5 months. Conclusion : A combination therapy of plasmapheresis, steroid pulse and immunoglobulin led to a complete remission in patients with FSGS who were SD or SR and was effective in maintaining normal renal function.
