Development of Compressive Failure Strength for Composite Laminate Using Regression Analysis Method (회귀분석법에 의한 복합재료 적층판의 압축파손강도 개발)

  • This paper provides the compressive failure strength value of composite laminate developed by using regression analysis method. Composite material in this document is a Carbon/Epoxy unidirection(UD) tape prepreg(Cycom G40-800/5276-1) cured at $350^{\circ}F(177^{\circ}C$). The operating temperature is -$-60^{\circ}F{\sim}+200^{\circ}F$($-55^{\circ}C{\sim}+95^{\circ}C$). A total of 56 compression tests were conducted on specimens from eight (8) distinct laminates that were laid up by standard angle layers ($0^{\circ}$, $+45^{\circ}$, $-45^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$). The ASTM-D-6484 standard was used for test method. The regression analysis was performed with the response variable being the laminate ultimate fracture strength and the regressor variables being two ply orientations ($0^{\circ}$ and ${\pm}45^{\circ}$).

  • 최근 자동차 업계서는 차량의 온실가스 배출량을 줄이고 연비를 개선시킬 수 있는 방법 중의 하나로 경량화 소재를 사용하여 차체의 중량을 줄이는 연구가 활발히 진행 중에 있다. 특히 알루미늄 합금의 경우 기존 강재에 비해 비중이 낮아 가볍고 부식에 대한 저항성이 높아 많이 사용되어지고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 먼저, 저입열 용접공정을 적용하여 용접 변수와 토치의 각도에 따른 인장강도 특성을 비교하여 적정 용접 범위를 산정하였으며, 인장강도와 비드형상의 관계를 다중 회귀 분석을 이용하여 비드 예측 회귀 모델을 제시하였다. 또한 호감도 함수를 적용한 반응표면분석법을 이용하여 자동차 생산 현장에서 겹치기 용접 이음부의 강건한 용접 품질을 가질 수 있는 최적용접 공정 조건을 도출할 수 있는 효과적인 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

Investigation of the Regression Analysis Method for a Quantitative Evaluation of Implant Crestal Bone Stresses (회귀분석법에 의한 임플란트 경부골 응력의 정량적 분석에 대한 연구)

  • In this study, the regression analysis method was tested for the estimation of peak stress at stress concentration area in the cervical bone. Submerge type EZ plus implant (Megagen. Daegu, Korea), 4.1 mm in cervical diameter and 9.6 mm in endosseous length, were axisymmetrically modelled together with surrounding alveolar bone of which the width was 10 mm. Vertical force of 100 N was applied to a head of crown above 8.5 mm from the outer surface of the cortical bone. Four different mesh models were composed of differently sized elements in vicinity of sharp corners, and they include 6 stress monitoring points that are located in the same geometrical points regardless of the differences in the meshes. Primary consideration was given to the stresses in the cortical bone surrounding the implant neck. The results showed that virtually all the stresses were concentrated in the cortical bone regardless of mesh designs. The peak stresses were successfully calculated by a regression analysis in a stable manner, as far as the mesh is designed to represent the acute gradient of stresses near the sharp corner.

  • This study suggests strategies to prevent traffic accidents by utilizing impact factors per each cluster and the typical patterns of 81 cities based on the statistical analysis of the data concerning the TCI which was developed from the partnership of the Traffic Safety Authority and the Green Traffic Movement Corporation in 2002 and 2003. The Principal Component Analysis and Cluster Analysis on impact factors and TCI result in 4 components and 4 clusters. Also as the results of Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis examining the relationship between impact factors and TCI, R2 values of these models show high to all clusters. According to the results, we suggest strategies to prevent traffic accidents per cluster concretely and it is necessary to analyze how effective the invested facilities are in reducing traffic accidents in the future.

  • Elastic critical loads of sinusoidally tapered bars with simply supported ends are determined by finite element method. The parameters considered in the analysis are taper parameter (=a) and section property parameter (=m). The analysis result for the special case of porismatic bar (a=0) shows good agreement with the existing value. The changes of the critical load coefficients are expressed by an algebraic equation. The coefficients appearing in the equations are determined by regression technique. The critical loads coefficients estimated by the proposed equations reveal little errors when they are compared with those determined by finite element method.

  • 본 연구는 저수량 지역 빈도분석(regional low flow frequency analysis)을 수행하기 위하여 일반최소자승법(ordinary least squares method)을 이용한 Bayesian 다중회귀분석을 적용하였으며, 불확실성측면에서의 효과를 탐색하기 위하여 Bayesian 다중회귀분석에 의한 추정치와 t 분포를 이용하여 산정한 일반 다중회귀분석의 추정치의 신뢰구간을 비교분석하였다. 각 재현기간별 비교결과를 보면 t 분포를 이용하여 산정된 평균 추정치와 Bayesian 다중회귀분석에 의한 평균 추정치는 크게 다르지 않았다. 그러나 불확실성 측면에서 평가해볼 때 신뢰구간의 상한추정치와 하한추정치의 차이는 Bayesian 다중회귀분석을 사용한 경우가 기존 방법을 사용한 경우보다 훨씬 작은 것으로 나타났으며, 이로부터 저수량(low flow) 지역 빈도분석을 수행하는 경우 Bayesian 다중회귀분석이 일반 회귀분석보다 불확실성을 표현하는데 있어서 우수하다는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 낙동강 유역에 2개의 미계측 유역을 선정하고 구축된 Bayesian 다중회귀모형을 적용하여 불확실성을 포함한 미계측 유역에서의 저수량(low flow)을 추정하였으며 이와 같은 방법이 미계측 유역에서의 저수(low flow) 특성을 나타내는 데 있어서 효과적일 수 있음을 입증하였다.

  • 양적 확률응답을 이용한 민감사안에 대한 평균이나 분석의 추정시 보조정보를 활용한 회귀추정법에 대해서 언급하고, 유도된 회귀추정량과 Greenberg et al.의 추정량 그리고 비추정량과의 비교의 통하여 회귀추정량이 효율적일 수 있는 조건을 찾았다. 또한 각 질문에 대한 응답의 분포가 포아송 분포인 경우 회귀추정량의 효율이 증대될 수 있는 조건에 대해서도 논하였다.

Non-Response Imputation for Panel Data (패널자료의 무응답 대체법)

  • Several non-response imputation methods are suggested, however, mainly cross-sectional imputations are studied and applied to this analysis. A simple and common imputation method for panel data is the cross-wave regression imputation or carry-over imputation as a special case of cross-wave regression imputation. This study suggests a multiple imputation method combined time series analysis and cross-sectional multiple imputation method. We compare this method and the cross-wave regression imputation method using MSE, MAE, and Bias. The 2008 monthly labor survey data is used for this study.

  • The first and perhaps the most critical and perhaps the most important step in the process of predicting future traffic volume in a region (Zone) is to estimate the number of trips generated in from each traffic analysis zone. Most trip generation models for urban transportation planning, and highway in Korea are regression models. In Korea the category analysis has not been tried for last decades since the proper data such as the household travel behavior data have not been collected. Recently, the comprehensive household travel behavior survey such as ${\ulcorner}$1996 The Household Travel Behavior Survey${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$2002 The Household Travel Behavior Survey${\lrcorner}$ has been done. In this paper, the cross-classification tables of Seoul Metropolitan Area including the City of Seoul and Kyonggi Province are estimated by the category analysis. The tables are compared with regression models and ${\ulcorner}$2002 The Household Travel Behavior Survey${\lrcorner}$ data in terms of predictive capabilities in Seoul Metropolitan Area. Improvement strategies for trip generation forecast in Seoul Metropolitan Area are proposed.
