  • 다양한 기능과 센서를 탑재한 최신 모바일 디바이스는 사용자의 위치, 전화기록, SMS, 사진, 동영상 등 사용자에 관한 다양한 정보를 지속적으로 수집할 수 있기 때문에 개인의 생활을 이해하고 다양한 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 가능성을 가지고 있다. 하지만, 모바일 장치의 성능 제약 및 환경 불확실성으로 인해 아직까지 많은 연구 과제들이 남아 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 모바일 환경의 문제를 극복하기 위해 베이지안 네트워크를 이용한 라이프 로그 분석 모델 및 자동 학습 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 베이지안 네트워크 모델은 모듈화 되어서 계산량은 감소되었으며, 자동 학습 방법을 통해 지속적인 업데이트가 가능하다. 이는 제안하는 방법이 복잡한 확률 모델을 자동으로 분할하는 방법과 분할된 상태에서의 유기적인 추론 방법을 포함하고 있기에 가능하다. 실험에서는 실제 모바일 장치에서 수집된 로그 데이터를 이용하여 제안하는 방법에 의한 실험 결과를 분석하고 분할을 통한 효율성 향상을 논의 한다.

  • A divided matched filter-reference filter(MF-RF) technique for LEO satellite packet transmission is proposed to increase the packet throughput in the presence of severe Doppler shift and fading. To overcome the severe Doppler shift, the divided matched filter is adopted where the integration region of matched filter is divided and ouputs of divided matched filer are added to decide the correct pseudo-noise (PN) phase. To maintain the constant false alarm rate in time varying interference and fading channel, the adaptive threshold for acquisition is obtained from the reference filter. As a performance measure, average acquisition time and packet throughput are used, and the effets of the parameters, i.e., Doppler shift, chip energy to noise ratio, user velocity, standard deviation of shadowing, and preamble length are shown.

  • 미국화성탐색선 "바이킹" 1호가 7월 20일 오후 8시 53분(한국시간) 드디어 화성 크리세 플래니티아(황금의 땅)에 착륙성공하였다. 10억여불이 투자된 "바이킹" 1호의 주목적은 화성에 생명체가 있는가를 과명하는데 있다. 모선인 바이킹궤도순회선과 자선인 화성 착륙선은 화성을 감싸고 있는 신비의 너울을 벗기기 위한 과학적 시험을 하게된다. 궤도순회선은 영상화시험, 적외선 열지도 작성, 수증기검출 무선과학을 위한 시험을 담당하게 되며 착륙선은 화성표면, 대기권, 기타 천문학연구, 대상물체의 영상하시험, 무기화학시험관측, 지진조사, 화성모래알의 자성시험을 하게된다.

  • 기존의 한글-안자 변환에서는 문맥정보와 통계정보를 고려하지 않는 사전기반의 단어단위 변환 방법을 사용한 반면, 본 논문에서는 언어모델 밀 변환모델을 이용한 문장단위의 한자 자동변환 방법을 제안하고. 사전 미등록어와 복합어의 한글-한자 변환을 위하여 단어분할을 변환의 숨김 과정으로 처리하는 통합모델을 사용하였다. 실험 결과, 전문용어의 한글-한자 변환에서 제한된 한자 데이터를 이용하여 기존의 사전기반 변환보다 나은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 승용자동차에 대한 소화기 비치 필요성 및 소화기의 효용성 및 적정성에 대해 평가하고자 한다. 이를 위해 소방청 국가화재정보센터에 입력된 차량화재를 분석하였으며, 국외 자동차용 소화기 비치기준을 조사하였다. 또한, 자동차를 대상으로 한 시뮬레이션 선행연구 결과를 분석하여 다른 차종에 비해 승용자동차의 위험도가 가장 높다. 한편, 기존의 시뮬레이션 연구결과를 분석해보면 소화기를 이용한 초기진화가 가능한 황금시간은 실내화재 시 2분, 엔진룸화재 시 약 7분 정도임을 알 수 있다. 이는 승용자동차 화재 시 소화기를 이용한 초기소화가 절실하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 승용자동차 화재로부터 국민의 안전과 재산을 보호하고 국내 자동차 안전환경 및 자동차 안전기준을 국제기준에 맞춰 국제 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해서는 승용자동차에 소화기 비치를 의무화할 필요성이 있다.

Analysis of Antimicrobial Substance isolated from Scutellariae Radix Extract using LC-MS (LC-MS를 이용한 황금추출물의 항균물질 검색)

  • It was carried out for development of natural antimicrobial on Scutellariae Radix by measuring the general nutritional composition and mineral contents. This study analyzed it with LC-MS to identify antimicrobial activity substance in the Scutellariae Radix extract, its content was analyzed using HPLC. The searching substance was examined antimicrobial activity by disk method. The approximate composition of Scutellariae Radix was $8.93\%$ of moisture, $4.13\%$ of crude ash, $15.30\%$ of crude protein, $3.71\%$ of crude fat, $67.93\%$ of carbohydrate, respectively. Scutellariae Radix was contained high contents of minerals such as K(12,050 mg/kg),. Mg(4,295 mg/kg), remarkably. It was identified that molecular weight 445' peak was baicalin, molecular weight 283' peak was wogonin and molecular weight 269' peak was baicalein on Scutellariae Radix extract Baicalin showed remarkable antimicrobial activity against V. parahaemolyticus and L monocytogenes when examined by disk method, which was estimated antimicrobial activity substance in the Scutellariae Radix extract. The content of baicalin was $0.75\%$(with D.W.) and $0.82\%$(with methanol) in the Scutellariae Radix extract using HPLC.

  • Fractionated stereotactic radiosurguy (FSRS) requires precise and reproducible patient set up. For these reasons non-invasive mask fixation methods have been used in Linac based FSRS. In this study, we measured and assessed the isocenter reproducibility using a commercial head mask fixation system based on thermoplastic materials. For the verification and the measurement of isocenter deviation a special acrylic brain phantom was designed. The designed phantom has 22 vertical rods and each rod has different lengths. At the end of the 8 rods, the monochromic film is attached and irradiated due to planned target position. Deviations of isocenter were measured separately for each direction. The mean deviation showed 0.4 mm in longitudinal direction, 0.1 mm in the lateral direction, 0.1 mm in the anterior-posterior direction of the treatment couch. The data demonstrates the high accuracy and reproducibility. This study reinforces previous literature published.

Effect of Seed Moisture Contents and Cylinder Speed of Thresher on the Mechanical Damage and Germination of Soybean Seeds (콩의 기계 탈곡시 종실수분 함량과 급동속도에 관한 연구)

  • An experimental study was undertaken to obtain the basic information on the effect of seed moisture content and cylinder speed of thresher on the mechanical damage and seed germination in soybeans. The moisture content at maturity was the highest in stern and followed by seed and pod-shell for Hwang-keurnkong and also the highest in stern and followed by pod-shell and seed for Danyeobkong in that order. The variation in the moisture contents of stern, seed, and pod-shell in a day on the 7th day after maturity showed gradually decreasing trends from 7 :00 in the morning to 17 :00 in the afternoon. On the 14th day after maturity, the moisture content of pod-shell was higher than that of seeds up until 11 :00 in the morning but it was higher in the seeds after that. The greater the cylinder speed and the higher the moisture content of seeds, the higher the percentage of seeds damaged was resulted. At the same time, the percentage of seeds damaged was higher in Hwangkeumkong large seed sized than in Danyeobkong small seed sized at the same cylinder speed. Considering the seed yield, percentage of seeds damaged, percentage of seeds germinated, threshing efficiency and drying, etc., the appropriate cylinder speed was believed to be about II m per second and the most appropriate moisture contents of seeds for threshing were believed to be about 15-20%.

Comparative Evaluation of Antioxidant Activities of Ethanol Extracts and Their Solvent Fractions Obtained from Selected Miscellaneous Cereal Grains (잡곡 유래 에탄올 추출물 및 이의 유기용매 분획들의 항산화 활성 비교평가)

  • To examine the antioxidant activities of 11n selected miscellaneous cereal grains (proso millet, yellow glutinous proso millet, hwanggeumchal sorghum, glutinous sorghum, white glutinous sorghum, yellow glutinous foxtail millet, nonglutinous foxtail millet, green glutinous foxtail millet, golden foxtail millet, barnyard millet, and adlay), the free radical-scavenging activities of 80% ethanol extracts of the individual grains were investigated using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazl (DPPH) and 2,2'-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) methods. The ethanol extracts of hwanggeumchal sorghum, glutinous sorghum, and barnyard millet grains exhibited more potent free radical-scavenging activities as compared to the other grains. When these three ethanol extracts were sequentially fractionated with n-hexane, methylene chloride, ethyl acetate, and n-butanol, the majority of the antioxidant activities were detected in the ethyl acetate and butanol fractions in which phenolic ingredients were abundant. The ethyl acetate and butanol fractions of hwanggeumchal sorghum and the ethyl acetate fraction of glutinous sorghum showed higher antioxidant activity than that of ${\alpha}$-tocopherol. Both ferric thiocyanate (FTC) and thiobarbituric acid (TBA) methods demonstrated that these organic solvent fractions could inhibit lipid peroxidation. The ethyl acetate fractions from hwanggeumchal sorghum, glutinous sorghum, and barnyard millet grains could suppress tertiary-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP)-induced apoptotic events, including sub-G1 peaks, ${\Delta}{\Psi}m$ loss, activation of caspase-9 and caspase-3, and cleavage of PARP and lamin B, in human HL-60 cells. These results show that the grains of hwanggeumchal sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench cv. Hwanggeumchalsusu), glutinous sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench cv. Chalsusu), and barnyard millet (Echinochloa esculenta) possess efficient antioxidant activity, which could protect cells from oxidative stress-mediated cytotoxicity.
