Busan Port has been facing critical situation in terms of container handling volume, especially growth rate of transshipment(T/S) container of the year of 2006 was at a standstill. Annual average growth rate of T/S container during the period of 2003 to 2006 slowed down to 7.7% while it recorded over 34% to the period of 1999 to 2002. It has mainly resulted from the change of circumstance of Northeast Asian ports, that is, firstly mega carriers' increasing direct call to Northern Chinese ports such as Qingdao, Tianjin and Dairen effected to T/S container volume of Busan port, secondly start to operate deep-water port of Shanghai, thirdly Japanese super hub port project to handle their local containers at domestic ports. This paper aims to analyze the T/S type of inter-routes and hub and spoke and statistical status of Busan port. The purpose of the paper is to propose new concept which is to attract T/S container utilizing hub port function of Busan port in Northeast Asia It is that mega carriers are given dedicated terminals to use Busan port as T/S base in the region.

With a view to the commercialization of the Korean automatic variable-gauge bogie in the Eurasia railway system, the aim of this research was to perform an economic analysis concerning the possible introduction and operation of this bogie at the present time. For this purpose, we compared the possible types of freight connection service for container transportation, transshipment and the gauge-adjustable system, estimating the total life-cycle cost (LCC) incurred by each system, depending on type and quantity, over the whole process of acquisition, operation, maintenance and disposal. Based on this, we presented a case-by case analysis. Furthermore, in estimating economic feasibility, we analyzed the cost-benefit ratio taking into account not only the objective LCC, but also the reduced time required for the gauge-change and customer convenience. After estimating the LCC and analyzing the cost-benefit ratio of the respective systems, we demonstrated the economic superiority of view of the gauge adjustable system.

Logistics needs in Asia are surprisingly increasing due to rapid growth of China Therefore, each country is trying to develop ports in order to attract logistics needs. Korea, also, begins to perform active port marketing policy, centering around Busan port and Kwangyang port, in order to become a logistics hub in Northeast Asia Recently, competitiveness of Japan has decreased due to increase in the inland transport costs, so Japanese is deliberating various counter plans. While Japan is stagnant, Korea has an opportunity for activating Busan port and Kwangyang port. This study estimates logistics costs by classifying types of delivery routes of Japanese imports and exports containers; that is, by dividing the case of using main ports in Japan, or Busan port and Kwangyang port. As a result, logistics costs are greatly reduced when the containers go by way of Busan port and Kwangyang port social and logistics costs.

인터넷은 트래픽의 유형과 내용에 대해 대체로 중립성을 지켜왔다. 이러한 인터넷의 망중립성은 콘텐츠 및 애플리케이션과 네트워크의 선순환적 발전을 유도하여 인터넷의 비약적 혁신과 성장을 가능하게 하였다. 그러나 최근 들어 스마트TV와 같은 새로운 서비스가 등장하여 데이터 트래픽이 급증함에 따라, 망에 대한 투자 주체로서 이에 따른 권리와 함께 망의 연결성 책임에 따른 망 관리가 필요한 통신사업자와 망의 공공성을 강조하는 콘텐츠/애플리케이션 사업자간에 갈등이 발생하고 있다. 본고에서는 이러한 갈등을 해결하기 위한 망중립성 정책 개념의 진화 체계와 각국의 망중립성 정책을 살펴보고, 스마트 TV 등장에 따른 망중립성 이슈가 무엇인지를 설명한다. 또한 글로벌 이슈화 되고 있는 망중립성 정책을 우리나라에서는 어떤 방향에서 보완해야 하며 그 목표는 무엇이 되어야 하는지에 대해 제언 한다.

Busan Port is being operated inefficiently by a number of container terminal operators, which are dispersed in small groups. In particular, the small terminal at Busan Port is causing the dispersion of quantity, the increase of ITT cargo and the occurrence of a ship waiting at sea as the ship's Alliance became larger in 2016. As a result, studies such as integrated operations for the larger container terminals are being conducted. Therefore, in this study, we intend to set up a type of integrated operation for terminals at the new port of Busan and measure the practical effects through simulation to present an ideal direction for integrated operation.

The inefficient operation of Busan New Port is due to container-terminal operators being dispersed in small groups, rather than being integrated. This dispersion increased following the reorganization of global shipping alliances in 2016 and causes unnecessary Inter-terminal Transportation(ITT) and ship delays. Studies of integrated operations for larger container terminals show that integration is not going well, however, due to the pre-emptive task that follows the integrated operation. Therefore, in this study, we divided the integrated operation into stages based on a simulated model of the container terminals in Busan New Port. The simulation took into account future increases in the ship's enlargement and terminal congestion, and the operational effects of each type of integrated operation were analyzed and evaluated.

This study investigated to explore the broadened concept of the subscription service market and categorize of the subscription market and its consumer behavior. We examined the satisfaction of the service users and the reasons for terminating the subscription. Survey respondents were 443 people in their 20s and 30s, who actively use subscription services. As a result of the survey it was found that users in their 20s were more satisfied with the overall subscription service than those in their 30s, and that user's residential areas were evenly distributed regardless of metropolitan area or non-metropolitan area. As a reason for the cancellation of subscription service: the lower the novelty of subscription, the less personalization tailored to consumer, the lack of feeling self-growth while using the service, and the more termination is made. Our findings have magnified the understanding of consumers behaviors in the age of 20s and 30s of using and terminating subscription service and hopefully be used for future studies of subscription services.

Recently the increase in the exchange of goods between Europe and Asia caused by social and economic factors creates good opportunities for railways. At the same time, however, it becomes an enormous challenge for railway transport. There are different rail track gauges (i.e narrow/standard/broad gauge) on the continental transportation between Korea (TKR) and Eurasian (TCR/TSR). The existence of various track gauges is one of obstacles preventing the smooth flow of goods by rail. The transferring process system from one track gauge to another could vary with the types of cargo. Service operation of these systems has a decisive effect on working time and cost of storage and transshipment facilities at border crossings. In relation to the above-mentioned factors, it is important to examine the comparison between different methods of transferring goods in different track gauges. In this study, it was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of continental railway transportation systems through analysis scenarios and to suggest technical factors of them.

본 논문에서는 카메라형 OCR (Optical Character Reader) 기술을 이용해 오프라인 중고서점의 효율적 장서관리 시스템을 구축하기 위한 디지털 데이터화 관리시스템 방안을 제안한다. OCR은 광학적으로 인식할 수 있는 문자를 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있도록 하는 기술이다. 원리적으로 문자 한 개를 수십 개의 모눈으로 분할해 특정한 모눈의 흑백 또는 자획형상 특징에 의해 문자를 판독한다. 이 논문에서는 OCR 기술을 활용함으로써 디지털 데이터화의 효과는 물론 적용 환경의 개선효과를 기대해 볼 수 있는 오프라인 중고서점 시장을 목표로 했다. 오프라인 중고서점에서 보유하고 있는 장서의 디지털 데이터화는 기업형 중고서점과의 경쟁에 있어서도 생존을 위해 필요한 요소이다. 카메라형 OCR 기술을 활용한 장서 디지털 데이터화는 오프라인 중고서점 판매자가 도서재고 검색 및 판매 관리 효율을 높이도록 도와줄 뿐 아니라, 도서판매 유형, 소비자 분석과 수요 예측을 가능하게 한다. 또한 소비자에게 오프라인 중고서점에서 보유하고 있는 희귀 장서와 중고서적들을 검색해 구입할 수 있는 편의를 제공할 것이다. 오프라인 중고서점 판매를 촉진하고 활성화시킨다면 출판의 선순환적 구조를 만드는 데 기여할 것으로 예상된다.
