  • 컴퓨터로 시뮬레이션 되는 가상의 콘텐츠를 사실감 있게 가시화 시키고 이를 체험할 수 있는 가상/증강/혼합현실 기술의 활용에 대한 이슈는 차세대 콘텐츠 분야에서 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 개인 착용형 디스플레이도 범용화된 스마트폰의 다음 세대를 대표하는 차세대 개인용 정보 인터페이스로 주목 받고 있다. 그러나, 첨단 기술의 활용을 다루는 미디어 매체에 익숙한 소비자가 기대하는 착용형 디스플레이에 대한 환상적인 경험과 실제 시장에 보급된 기술의 현실 사이에는 많은 차이점이 있다. 그러므로, 본고에서는 개인 착용형 디스플레이와 관련된 기술의 역사를 간단히 소개하고, 주요 구성 기술을 정리한다. 그리고, 최근 세계 시장에 소개된 제품 및 기술에 대한 동향을 소개한다. 마지막으로, 논문과 특허 및 시작품 개발 사례 등을 중심으로 국내외 연구 동향을 살펴본다.

  • 베타-사이클로덱스트린은 7개의 글루코스 단위가 $\alpha$-1,4 결합으로 연결된 환상고리형 올리고당으로서 전분을 효소처리하여 추출한 물질이다. 베타-사이클로덱스트린은 혈액내 지질 함량을 현저하게 떨어뜨릴 수 있는 hypolipdemic, hypotriacylglyceridemic 그리고 hypocholesterolemic 효과를 가지므로 비만을 예방하는데 도움이 될 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 베타-사이클로덱스트린을 이용하여 조제된 펠렛 형태의 식이가 비만인의 체중, 체지방, 복부비만 감소 및 혈액 지질함량 감소에 미치는 효과를 조사하는 것이었다.   • In recent years, hydrologists have been interested in the radial spectrum and its estimation in two dimensional storm field to construct simulation model of the rainfall. This paper deals with the problem of transformation from the spectrum or isotropic covariance function to two dimensional random field. The extended turning band method for the generation of random field is applied to the problem using the line generation method of one dimensional stochastic process by G.Matheron. Examples of this generation is chosen in the random components of the multidimensional rainfall model suggested by Bras and are given with a comparison between theoretical and sample statistics. In this numerical experiments it is observed that first and second order statistics can be conserved. Also the example of moving storm simulation through Bras model is presented with the appropriate parameters and sample size.

  • Using the storm data which was augmented by the stochastic correlation with it's neighbors, the multiquadric equation of random surface of total storm depth is constructed. And to separate the local components from it's regionals and find the regional characteristics, a double Fourier analysis was applied to the total depths of storm data. The local components, storm residuals of each storm was assumed to be homogeneous random field and investigated with it's autocorrelation function. For the practical application, isotropic was assumed and that was identified with emprical data. Coefficients of normalized autocorrelation for all storms showed similar apperance. Using this emprical result, an example of the radial spectral distribution function which represints the spatial characteristics of rainfall over Han River Basin during 1975-1983 is presented.

  • Rainfall is a phenomenon that shows a high variability both in space and time, Hy drologists are usually interested in the description of spatial distribution of rainfall over watershed. The theory of Kriging, generalized covariance technique using nonstationary mean in the regions under orographic effect, was chosen to construct random surface of total storm depth. For the constructed random surface, the double Fourier analysis of the total storm depths was performed, and the principal harmonics of storm were determined. The local component, or storm residuals was obtained by subtracting the periodic component of the storm from total storm depths. It is assumed that the residuals are a sample function of a homogeneous random field. This random field can be characterized by an isotropic one dimensional autocorrelation function or its corresponding spectral density function. Under this assumption, this study proposed a theorectical model for spectral density function adapted to two watersheds.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the retentive force of cast half round circumferential clasps, cast round circumferential clasps and wrought wire clasps on three different depths of undercut(10G,20G.30G), and to determine the proper amount of undercut for cast round circumferential clasp. Three different lower second premolar crowns were cast and each of clasp was made. Each of clasp affixed to the different types of clasp. Their retentive forces were measured with universal testing machine. The results were as follows : 1. When the depth of undercut was same, the greatest retentive force was exerted by cast half round circumferential clasp, followed by cast round - 33 - circumferential clasp and wrought wire clasp. 2. The degree of variation amount of retentive force according to depth of undercut was greatest for cast round circumferential clasp. 3. Not only elastic deformation but also permanent deformation of the retentive arm was observed after insertion and removal of the clasp. The results of this study show that the retentive force of cast round circumferential clasp falls between those of cast half round circumferential clasp and wrought wire clasp, and suggest that a 20G undercut is suitable for ensuring an appropriate degree of the retentive force.

  • The investigation of the fuel cladding temperature behavior and heat transfer mechanism during the reflooding phase of a LOCA plays an important role in performance evaluation of ECCS and safety analysis of water reactors. Reflooding experiments were performed with horizontal and vertical flow channels to investigate the effect of coolant flow channel orientation on rewetting process. Emphasis was mainly placed on the CANDU reactor which has horizontal pressure tubes in core, and the results were compared with those of vertical channel. Also to investigate the rewetting process visually, the experiments by using a rod in annulus and a quartz tube heated outside were performed. It can be concluded that the rewetting velocity in horizontal flow channel is clearly affected by flow stratification, however, the average rewetting velocity is similar to those in vertical flow channel for same conditions.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 가로망의 구조 및 통행수요의 변화에 따라 통행 중 교통정보제공의 효과가 어떻게 달라지는가를 모의실험을 통하여 분석하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 실제의 대규모 가로망에 대하여 적용할 수 있는 통행배정기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 모형은 시간의 흐름에 따른 가로망의 상태를 고려하여 통행을 배정하는 방법으로 $\ulcorner$시간종속적 통행배정$\lrcorner$이라 명하였다. 본 연구에서는 가로망 형태(격자형 및 방사환상형), 가로망 크기, 통행수요의 지역별 분포, 그리고 교통혼잡정도에 따라 각각 시나리오를 작성하고, 각 시나리오에 대하여 모의실험 및 사례연구(노드 348개, 링크 1179개)를 통해 정보를 받는 차량의 비율에 따른, 그리고 정보를 제공하는 빈도에 따른 통행중 교통정보제공에 대한 효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 모의실험에서는 정보를 받는 차량의 비율이 30%~70% 구간에서 14%까지의 총체계비용의 감소효과가 나타났으며, 가로망의 규모가 클수록, 혼잡이 심할수록, 그리고 대안도로가 많을수록 교통정보제공의 효과는 커지는 것으로 분석되었다.

A Numerical Model for Predicting the Radial Power Profile in CANDU-PHWR Fuel Pellet (CANDU-PHWR 핵연료 소결체의 반경방향 출력분포 수치모형)

  • An accurate and fast running NEDAR model for calculating radial power profile throughout fuel life in both solid and annular pellets for existing and advanced CANDU-PHWR-fuel was developed in this work. This model contains resultant flux depression equations and neutron depression data tables which have been developed for CANDU-PHWR fuel of pellet with the diameter 8.0 to 19.5 mm and enrichment 0.71-6.0 wt % U-235, over a bumup range of 0 to 840 MWh /kgU (35000 MWD/T). In order to obtain the neutron flux distribution in the fuel pellet, the CE-HAMMER physics code was run for a neutron flux spectrum appropriate to a CANDU-PHWR to give predictions of radial power profile for several ranges of fuel design parameters. The results, which were calculated by the CE-HAMMER physics code, were fitted to an equation which is solved in terms of Bessel and exponential functions in order to obtain the parameters, $textsc{k}$, $\beta$ and λ in the resultant equation. The present NEDAR model produce a radial profile which, when normalized to unity at the pellet surface, is slightly higher than the profile of the original ELESIM data table. The predictions of the fission gas release by KAFEPA-NEDAR are in slightly better agreement with the experiments than those of ELESIM. The NEDAR model described in this study has been shown to provide an effective, reliable, and accurate method for determining radial power profiles in CANDU-PHWR fuel rods without incurring a significant increase in computing time.

  • In order to monitor a rotating cylindrical separator for radioactive waste, an electrical resistance method is proposed and its mathematical model is investigated. In a rotating radioactive waste separator, the electrical resistance between a pair of electrodes mounted on the inner wall of the vessel is related to the thickness of annular region of insoluble particle formed around the periphery and the concentration of the insoluble particle in that region. This work presents an analytical relationship among the aforementioned parameters based on a two-dimensional solution to the electrical potential equation and an empirical conductivity-concentration relation. Also, the feasibility of electrical resistance method for monitoring rotating cylindrical separators is discussed.
