The study of relationship between the concentrations of Bisphenol A and DEHP in human plasma and precocious puberty (Bisphenol A와 DEHP의 혈중농도와 성조숙증 환아와의 상관성에 관한 연구)

  • Bisphenol A (BPA) and di-2-ethyhexyl phthalate (DEHP) is the considerably hazardous materials, endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), which is accumulated to the human's fat and tissue. We studied the relationship between the concentrations of BPA and DEHP in the precocious puberty and the normal controls using GC/MSD. BPA concentrations of the precocious puberty are lower than that of normal controls. But DEHP concentrations of the precocious puberty are higher than that of normal controls. From these results, BPA is not related to the precocious puberty. Otherwise, DEHP is somewhat related to the precocious puberty and the concentrations of the precocious puberty are approximately 45% higher than that of normal controls.

  • Recent studies demonstrate that machine learning has expanded in the field of seismic interpretation. Many convolutional neural networks have been developed for seismic sequence identification, which is important for seismic interpretation. However, expense and time limitations indicate that there is insufficient data available to provide a sufficient dataset to train supervised machine learning programs to identify seismic sequences. In this study, patch division and data augmentation are applied to mitigate this lack of data. Furthermore, to obtain spatial information that could be lost during patch division, an artificial channel is added to the original data to indicate depth. Seismic sequence identification is performed using a U-Net network and the Netherlands F3 block dataset from the dGB Open Seismic Repository, which offers datasets for machine learning, and the predicted results are evaluated. The results show that patch-based U-Net seismic sequence identification is improved by data augmentation and the addition of an artificial channel.

  • Obesity is closely associated with profound dyslipidemia, insulin resistance, and fatty liver disease. Recent reports have suggested that alterations in gut microbiota can be linked to diet-induced obesity. In this study, the anti-obesity effects of Weissella confusa WIKIM51 isolated from kimchi were investigated, as evidenced by: i) reduced lipid accumulation and downregulated adipogenesis-related genes in 3T3-L1 adipocytes; ii) suppressed gains in body weight and epididymal fat mass; iii) reduced serum lipid levels, for example, triglyceride and total cholesterol; iv) increased serum adiponectin levels and reduced serum leptin levels; v) downregulated lipogenesis and upregulated β-oxidation-related genes in the epididymal fat; and vi) altered microbial communities. The collective evidence indicate the potential value of W. confusa WIKIM51 as a functional food supplement for the prevention and amelioration of obesity.

  • Seokgojeon(石鼓殿) is a protective pavilion that protects stone drums made in 1902 during the Korean Empire in connection with Emperor Gojong's Mangyuksun (51'st birthday) and the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of his reign. During the Japanese colonial period, Seokgojeon was dismantled and transformed into the bell pavilion of Bakmunsa Temple, which was a memorial temple for Ito Hirobumi in 1935. In November 1945, just after liberation, Bakmunsa Temple was burned down, and the Seokgojeon Hall, which was transformed into Jonggak(鐘閣), was relocated to the Changgyeongwon(昌慶苑). Outdoor Stage in 1966, and was dismantled in 1984 due to the Changgyeonggung(昌慶宮) Palace restoration project, and only the members are currently stored. Therefore, this paper intends to use it as a basic research data to examine the style of monumental buildings during the Korean Empire through literature surveys, absence surveys, and case studies of similar buildings during the same period.

  • In this study, we provide trends on alternative fuel vehicles promoted by postal agencies in 10 countries in North America, the EU, and Asia. It describes the specifications of most EV vehicles in operation, plans, and strategies to replace existing internal combustion engines with new vehicles in the future and provides the current status of alternative vehicle charging networks in each postal agency. This paper will help postal agencies, logistics companies, automobile companies, motorcycle companies, and even individuals who want to use vehicles with alternative fuels, such as electric vehicles, on strategies to establish and implement before introducing and operating the vehicles.

  • No.87 Sogong-dong where is the Chosun hotel stand. There was the Nambeol-gung(south ern royal villa) which had been a reception hall for enboys of the toadied country before Hwangudan圜丘壇 being set up in the year 1897. The site of the Nambeol-gung was Gyeongjeong慶貞 princess's a lot for house in the early 15th century. But after princess's death, it occurred property dispute between her son and four daughters. As a result of the dispute, a lot and a house of all the princess's properties reverted to the government. At reverted this lot was established a big royal villa in the year 1583 and that royal villa was granted to Uian prince. The villa reverted to the government again when the Uian義安 prince was dead in 12 years old by an epidemic. After the Imjin Invasion壬辰倭亂, another houses and buildings got to be role as a palace because of all the palace in the capital was burnt down to ashes. Among others Nambeol-gung was brought into play as the royal audience chamber. As well as, the villa became brought out role as a reception hall for enboys of the toadied country instead of a damaged reception hall the Taepyong-gwan太平館. In period when the envoy didn't come, the Nambeol-gung was used to extraordinary office of government like Dogam都監. This situation is to mean that the Nambeol-gung is not the royal villa any more. Because of the Nambeol-gung was built as a royal villa, that spaces were composited like space of house and palace. But this spatial composition and spatial name were not fit to hold a ceremony of government office. After all, Nambeol-gung was used change only the spatial name conform to ceremony of office keep up the spatial composition.

개발사업으로 인한 토양손실량 예측 및 침사지 설계

  • 최근에 내무부에서는 개발사업으로 인한 토사유출 피해 중 인명과 재산 피해와 같은 재해 성격을 가진 대규모 토사유출을 사전에 미리 저감시킬 목적으로 재해영향평가제를 도입하여 추진하고 있다. 이에 따라 건설 엔지니어링 업계에서는 대규모 개발 사업으로 인한 가속화된 토양손실량 예측과 침사지 설계에 많은 관심이 쏟아지고 있으나 이 분야의 기술축적과 자료부족으로 과업수행에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 강좌에서는 이러한 엔지니어링 업계의 기술적인 어려움을 다소 나마 해소할수 있도록 개발사업으로 인한 가속화된 토양손실량 예측방법과 침사지 설계 기준에 대해 외국의 자료를 바탕으로 그 동안 국내에서 수행한 각종 재해영향평가 자료를 검토하여 제시한다. 먼저, 재해영향평가제의 취지, 토사유출과 재해, 토사유출 재해 저감대책 등에 대해 간략히 설명한다. 다음, 침식량 예측 방법으로 미국의 범용토양 손실공식(USEL) 방법의 적용 절차에 대해 구체적으로 소개한다. 침사지 설계 편에서는 침사지 설계 개념과 구체적인 설계 절차를 제시하고 참사지 규모의 결정방법을 소개한다. 본 강좌의 교재는 미국교통연구단(TRB)의 국립합동도로연구프로그램(NCHRP)#70 자료를 주로 참고하였다. 이 자료는 부록에 원본 전부를 수록하였다. 다만 아직 이 분야 연구가 미흡한 관계로 본 강좌에서는 재해저감 측면에서 합리적인 침사지 설계 기준을 완전히 제시하지 못하고 있다. 참고로 국립방재연구소의 박무종/강대환 연구팀이 기존의 재해영향평가서 자료 중에서 10개를 선정하여 침사지 소요수면적 산정, USEL 적용, 강우침식도 R의 산정 등에 대해 사례 조사 분석한 결과를 부록에 수록하였다.을 기해야 한다. 있다. 청주권의 무심천도 계획상은 대청댐의 물을 공급 받을수도 있도록 되어 있으나 현실상으로 상수도 원수로서의 공급마저도 매년 심한 원수 수질 문제(5-6월, 10월경의 취수장 부근의 부영양화 현상으로 인한 악취와 물 맛의 문제)를 1984년부터 겪고 있다. 이와 같이 도시권 하천의 수자원은 자연적, 인위적, 경제적, 법적, 제도적 여러 제한 요소로서 특성을 가지고 있으며 이는 날로 심해 가고 있는 실정이다. 그러므로 최적 물관리 시스템의 개발이 새로이 시작하는 수자원 개발 사업에서는 계획 단계에서부터 절실히 요구되는 바이며 기존 시설물의 관리 운영은 과감히 그 운영 관리 기준을 보완 재 정비하여야 할 것이다. 지금까지 대부분의 수자원 종합 개발 계획이 홍수방이나 용수 공급 및 수력 개발 등에 주력하여 왔으나 이제는 보다 더 수자원의 환경 보전적 차원과 도시의 안정적 발달을 위한 지역 및 권역 계획과 연계지워져서 양적인 안정 공급과 더불어 질적인 향상과 연계지워서 경제-사회적 요구에 부응할 수 있도록 도시권의 수자원을 최적 관리할 수 있는 방안을 강구하여야 할 것이다. 이는 각 도시 하천의 수자원의 정량적·정성적인 특성 및 제한 요소를 충분히 감안하여 수요-공급 개념에 의하여 과감히 기존 시설(예: 팔당댐의 운영, 대청댐의 운영 등)의 관리 운영 체계를 개선하여 나가야 할 것이며, 수질 보전적-환경 보전 차원에서 저수관리 체계를 확고히 할 수 있는 방안을 강구하여야 할 것이다.펄스주입법에 의해 증착된 박박은 강유전성 이력을 나타내었다.지역과 비도시지역을 비교하는 조사 연구가 필요하며, 이러한 조사결과를 바탕으로 자녀의 식습관에 대

An experimental investigation of flow characteristics in the tangential and the multi-stage spiral inlets (접선식 및 다단식 나선 유입구 흐름 특성의 실험적 연구)

  • The vulnerability of urban disasters is increased with the rapid urbanization and industrialization, and the extreme rainfall event is increased due to the global climate change. Urban inundation is also increased due to the extreme rainfall event beyond the capacity limit of facility for the damage prevention. The underground detention vault and the underground drain tunnel are rapidly being utilized to prevent urban inundation. Therefore, the hydraulic review and design analysis of the inlet of the underground facility are important. In this study, the water level of the approach flow according to the inflow discharge is measured and the flow characteristic of the inlet (tangential and spiral) is analyzed. For the spiral inlet, the multi-stage is introduced at the bottom of the inlet to improve the inducing vortex flow at low discharge conditions. In case of the tangential inlet, the discharging efficiency is decreased rapidly with hydraulic jump in the high flow discharge. The rising ratio of the water level in the multi-stage spiral inlet is higher than the tangential inlet, but the stable discharging efficiency is maintained at low and high discharge conditions. And the empirical formula of water level-flow discharge is derived in order to utilize inlets used in this study.

Experimental study of the air emission effect in the tangential and the multi-stage spiral inlet (접선식 유입구와 다단식 나선 유입구의 공기 배출 효과에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • Recently, urban inundation was frequently occurred due to the intensive rainfall exceeding marginal capacity of the flood control facility. Furthermore, needs for the underground storage facilities to mitigate urban flood are increasing according to rapidly accelerating urbanization. Thus, in this study, drainage efficiency in drain tunnel connecting to underground storage was investigated from the air-core measurements in the drop shaft against two types of inlet structure. In case of the spiral inlet, the multi-stage structure is introduced at the bottom of the inlet to improve the vortex induction effect at low inflow discharge (multi-stage spiral inlet). The average cross-sectional area of the air-core in the multi-stage spiral inlet is 10% larger than the tangential inlet, and show the highly air emission effect and the highly inflow efficiency at the high inflow discharge. In case of the tangential inlets, the air emission effect decreased after exceeding the maximum inflow discharge, which is required to maintain the inherent performance of the tangential inlet. From the measurements, the empirical formula for the cross-sectional area of the air-core according to locations inside the drop shaft was proposed in order to provide the experimental data available for the inlet model used in experiments.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness and safety of frequently used clinical herbal medicines (Yijung-tang [Lizhong-tang, LJT], Pyeongwi-san [Pingwei-san, PWS], and Shihosogan-tang [Chaihu Shugan-tang, SST]) in patients with functional dyspepsia (FD) when administered according to herbal medicine and Korean medicine pattern identification. The results of this study will be used to standardize the diagnostic instrument used in Korean medicine and to investigate biomarkers of Korean medicine pattern identification. Methods: This study will be a randomized, assessor-blind, 3-arm, parallel, open-label, multi-center clinical trial. A total of 300 FD participants will be recruited from 3 Korean medical hospitals and assigned to the LJT (n=100), PWS (n=100), and SST (n=100) groups according to FD pattern identification. The patients will take the medication for 8 weeks, 3 times a day, before or between meals. The primary outcome will be total dyspepsia symptom (TDS) and the secondary outcomes will be adequate relief (AR) for dyspepsia, overall treatment effect (OTE), visual analogue scale (VAS), functional dyspepsia-related quality of life (FD-QoL), gastrointestinal symptom score (GIS), and pattern identification questionnaires. For the exploratory outcomes, we will analyze blood and fecal metabolome profiles, microbiota from fecal and saliva samples, single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP), and results of Korean medicine diagnosis device measurements (heart rate variability, and tongue, pulse, and abdominal diagnosis). Conclusions: The results of this study will prove objectivity for Korean medicine pattern identifications, and the effectiveness and safety of herbal medicines for the population with FD.
