업종별 환경친화적 물류활동에 관한 사례연구

  • 지속가능한 발전과 관련된 새로운 패러다임이 우리사회가 도달해야할 목표로 간주 되고 있다. 물류는 자원순환형 시스템의 실행역할을 하고 있으며, 지속가능발전을 위해서 환경친화적으로 구축되어야 한다. 최근 물류분야에서도 환경이 중요한 경쟁수단으로 등장하고 있어서 이에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이에따라 본 연구는 물류활동 중에서 수송활동과 포장활동을 중심으로 어떻게 환경친화적으로 수행하고 있는 지를 기업의 사례를 통하여 살펴보고 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 198사를 대상으로 77개 항목에 대하여 조사하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 기업들이 추진해야할 환경친화적 물류활동의 추진방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The Environmental-Friendly Clothing Consumption Behavior of Middle and High School Students in Seoul (서울지역 중.고등학생의 환경친화적 의복 소비행동)

  • The goal of this research is to determine the variables which influence adolescents' environmental-friendly clothing consumption behaviors. A questionnaire was prepared to survey 768 students in 8 different middle and high schools throughout Seoul. The results of the studies are as follows; First, the experiences in environmental activities were higher than the average. Second, the level of environmental-friendly values was found to be higher than the average. Among the values, environmental-preservation scored the highest, whereas selfishness scored the lowest. Third, adolescents have the strongest desire to express their individuality by means of clothing, which includes comfortableness, price, fashion, and brand. Fourth, the environmental-friendly clothing consumption awareness was average. In this field's subcategory, disposal awareness was above the average. But when buying clothes, the awareness of environmental problems was lower than the common level. Fifth, adolescents were lower in environmental-friendly clothing consumption behavior than the common level. In the subcategory, using behavior and disposal behavior were on the average, but buying behavior was executed in an anti-eco-friendly manner. Sixth, adolescents' price pursuit and clothing disposal consciousness were important factors of environmental-friendly clothing consumption behavior.

Study on Management Performance of Environment-Friendly Firms (환경친화지정기업의 경영성과에 관한 연구)

  • This study tests four hypotheses on management performance of environment-friendly firms. The hypotheses are that i) environment-friendly firms are lower management performance than general firms, ii) high cost environment-friendly firms are lower management performance than lower cost ones, small and medium environment-friendly firms lower management performance than large ones, and long-term environment-friendly firms higher management performance than short-term ones. The major findings are that the first hypothesis is not supported at the 5% significance level and the second one is also not supported at the 10% significance level. The third one is supported in terms of stability since large firms are more stable small and medium ones at the 5% significance level. The last one is not supported since short-term environment-friendly firms are more stable than long-term ones in the 10% significance level.

  • 과거 1세기를 통해 볼 때, 건축재로써 콘크리트의 범용적 선정우위는 향후 1세기도 다른 건축재로 대체될 가능성이 없지만, 환경친화적이고 인간공학적 요소를 강조하는 최근의 주거환경과 함께, 건축주는 회색 일변도의 획일화된 도시화로 발생된 상자형의 빌딩 숲과 각종 시설물에서 탈피하고픈 욕구를 해결하기 위해 환경 친화적이고 고기능이 강조된 제품을 적용하여 쾌적한 주거환경과 생활공간를 창조하고자 다양하게 시도하고 있다. 이러한 시대적인 욕구를 충족하기 위한 용도와 기능의 제품은 다양한 형태로 환경친화적인 디자인, 기능, 용도로 개발되고 그 기능도 잘 홍보하여 적용되고 있으나 일부 제품은 이러한 변화에 대응하지 못하고 사양되고 있는 것도 사실이다.(중략)

  • Eco-friendly development is inevitable for eradicating poverty in developing countries. In order to make Eco-friendly development a worldwide movement, we have to provide education for Eco-friendly development. There are, however, many problems in achieving education for Eco-friendly development. In conducting human education, there should be a certain philosophy as a foundation. The Earth charter, which people from various countries have developed since the World Summit on Eco-friendly Development and on which they have gained an international consensus, including consensus from NGOs, should serve as a foundation to conduct education for peace, human rights and environment. In this paper, I have discussed first the loss of Sustainability, second the loss of the view that human development is the basis for education, third the decline of literacy, fourth the decline of education for women, fifth excessive emphasis on knowledge and rote learning, and sixth the deviation from quality-of-life education.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the elementary students' environmentally friendly attitude and environment literacy through Edward de Bono's Six Thinking Hats in science class. The objects of this study were the sixth grade of both an experimental class (25 students) and a comparative class (24 students) a the S elementary school science class located in Incheon city. The results of this study were as follows: First, the change of environmentally friendly attitude in the experimental group applying the six thinking hats program have statistically meaningful differences (p<.05). Second, the environmental literacy of the experimental group was improved somewhat, but it has no meaningful differences compared the other group statistically. Therefore, the six thinking hats program applied in this study might be useful to improve the students' environmentally friendly attitude in elementary school science class.

  • The age-friendly environments have the benefits that they provide not only the elderly, but also the disabled, children, pregnant, and young persons with the convenient environments. The study examined how degree the aged perceived their physical living environments were age-friendly. The data were collected from 525 old peoples living in Busan using by the person to person interview. All 34 items related to the age-friendliness of outdoor space and building, traffic, and housing were analyzed. The aged perceived that the agefriendliness of their living environments were mid-range. This implies that the improvements of their physical living environments were needed. The age-friendliness of housing area was the lowest among three areas. This means that the alternatives for improving the old persons' houses were needed. The characteristics which affected the aged' perception of the age-friendliness of physical living environments were economic level, housing type, home-ownership, and health condition.

The Effect of Knowledge and Perception of Environmental Problems on Pro-environmental Behavior of Youth (청소년의 환경문제에 대한 지식 및 인식이 환경친화적 행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of knowledge and perception of environmental problems on pro-environmental behavior of youth. The data used for this study were collected using questionnaire. The sample for this study consisted of 654 junior and high school students living in Seoul and Gyeong-gi Province. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The following is a summary of the major findings. (1) The significant variables affecting pro-environmental behavior of youth were need of environmental education, source of environmental knowledge, level of perception on air pollution and scarcity of resources and energy, sex and total amount of allowance of students. These variables explained 20.5% of variance of pro-environmental behavior. (2) Environmental education related variables were the best predictor of pro-environmental behavior; knowledge of environmental problem variables had limited predictive power. (3) Recommendations for teaching-learning strategies have been suggested to enhance youth's pro-environmental behavior in school.
