  • The paper investigates the ideal image and the ideological tendency of the traditional intellectuals in the East Asian Societies by analyzing the religious thoughts of Donghak, Tenrikyo and the Society of God Worshippers, which were the representative religious bodies in Korea, Japan and China. In particular, this paper focuses on the founders' thoughts of the religious organizations, such as Choi Jewoo(崔濟愚, 1824-1864) of Donghak, Nakayama Miki(中山みき, 1798-1887) of Tenrikyo and Hong xiuquan(洪秀全, 1814-1864) of the Society of God Worshippers. The results obtained from the study are as follows:Choi Jewoo's father was a teacher in a rural village, and so Choi Jewoo also wanted to be a teacher. Afterward when he had religious experiences, in the trance state, he became a teacher. Consequently, his religious thoughts were based on the ideal teacher's stance. Nakayama Miki respected her father, who was a low-ranking warrior or bushi(武士). And when she experienced strange experiences, she became a high-ranking warrior or shogun(將軍). On this account, many of her religious thoughts were based on the ideal bushi's position. Hong xiuquan's father was a low-ranking local official, therefore Hong xiuquan wanted to be a high-ranking official since childhood. Later, he took the civil service examinations only to failed. And so when he had religious experiences, he became an official appointed by God. And his religious thoughts, in many cases, depended on the ideal official's stance.

  • Multivariate processes, such as chemical and mechanical process, power plants are operated in a state where several facilities are complexly connected, the fault of a particular system can also have fatal consequences for the entire process. In addition, since process data is measured in an unstable environment, outlier is likely to be include in the data. Therefore, monitoring technology is essential, which can remove outlier from measured data and detect failures in advance. In this paper, data obtained from dynamic and multivariate process models was used to detect fault in various type of processes. The dynamic process is a simulation of a process with autoregressive property, and the multivariate process is a model that describes a situation when a specific sensor fault. Mahalanobis distance was used to remove outlier contained in the data generated by dynamic process model and multivariate process model, and fault detection was performed using ICA. For comparison, we compared performance with and a conventional single ICA method. The proposed fault detection method improves performance by 0.84%p for bias data and 6.82%p for drift data in the dynamic process. In the case of the multivariate process, the performance was improves by 3.78%p, therefore, the proposed method showed better fault detection performance.

  • Objectives: This research aimed to identify the level of perception, knowledge, preventive behavior, and factors affecting preventive behavior of patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease against particulate matter. Methods: This research was a descriptive survey research, and the subjects were chronic pulmonary disease patients over the age of 19 and under 80 who visited a university hospital in Daegu City. Data was collected by convenience sampling through structured self-administered questionnaire survey from December 2019 to January 2020, and a total of 212 copies were used for analysis. Results: Out of 212 total subjects, 112 were asthma patients (52.8%) and 100 were chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients (47.2%). The average score (out of 10) of perception, knowledge and preventive behavior of patients with asthma for particulate matter was 7.92, 6.99, and 7.10, respectively, while those with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease scored 7.72, 6.24, and 6.80, respectively. The knowledge score was significantly higher in patients with asthma than those with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (p=0.007). Factors affecting particulate matter preventive behavior were perception score, knowledge score, and age for asthma patients, and perception score for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients. Conclusions: As a result of the above, the factors relate to the preventive behavior of patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were perception score, knowledge score, and age for asthma, and perception score for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Raising the level of particulate matter preventive behavior can prevent the deterioration of chronic pulmonary diseases caused by particulate matter, so the development of arbitration programs considering the characteristics of the patients according to the disease and continuous and repetitive education are required.

  • During the China's long history, many ethnic groups have developed their own traditions of local music which is an important part of their precious cultures. Meanwhile, each ethnic group developed its own worldview and music culture according to its unique living environment, special lifestyle and mode of production. The clarinet is a Western instrument, and has been influenced to some extent by Chinese minority culture while being introduced to China. Therefore, musicians tried to find ways of using Western musical instruments to express various elements of Chinese minority music. Focusing on two clarinet works 'The Song of Grazing Horses' by Wang Yan and 'The Sound of Pamir Clarinet Concerto' by Hu Bijing, this paper aims to analyze the musical characteristics of minority groups expressed by the clarinet in two aspects: the formation of the music style, the artistic characteristics conveyed through the works. Specifically, it consists of five parts: ethnic mode and tonality, rhythm, time signature, melody making, and imitation of animals. It also analyzes the cultural characteristics of Tajik and Mongolian music reflected in the two works in combination with living environment, mode of production, life style, and ethnic emotions. This study aims to provide a theoretical basis for composers and performers who want to understand and acquire the musical style of modern Chinese clarinet works. It also helps to find a better way to play traditional Chinese music with Western instruments.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore effective and practical career plans reflecting demand of the field, in regard to education for university students who major in physical education, as the importance and necessity of career education at a university level are increasing. Systematic literature review (PRISMA) methodology was used for this study. From 38 pieces of literature that were finally selected for this study, research results were put together from three perspectives as follows: 1. 'Factors Related to Students' Decision-Making for Career' which should be considered in career education for physical education majors; 2. Problems of Career Education in the Physical Education Curriculum, and; 3. Improvement Plans. First, it was found that students' decision-making for career is affected by individuals' personal internal factors (i.e., satisfaction with major, self-efficacy, and career barrier) and external factors (i.e., counselling history on career paths, career conditions, and the status of related jobs). Second, the state of career education for physical education majors was found to be insufficient in terms of a lack of career education in the curriculum, a lack of support from major professors, and a lack of support for field experience. Third, improvement plans were suggested from the following perspectives: development of systematic career education curriculum (i.e., fostering leadership, reorganization of curriculum focused on career specialty, and operation of systematic curriculum); provision of an adequate environment for career education (i.e., establishment of infrastructure that links the university to society and collection of information on career paths for physical education majors). Moreover, the necessity to develop career education curriculum in connection with demand of students regarding career, the lack of systematic information on career paths of physical education majors, and the lack of researches on career education for physical education majors were discussed in this study.

  • "Positive Influence(PI)" of popular star has recently emerged as a social concern, but the lack of prior research has led to confusion over its concept and range of activity. On this point, this study carried out to lay the groundwork for discussions on the systematization of related theories, focused on identifying the current situations by analyzing articles for 15 months from January 2019 to March 2020 when related reports were in full swing. As a result of the analysis of the remarks from the entertainers mentioned in the articles, they were not clearly aware of the concept while doing good deeds under the name of PI in light of the study outcome by Aegean and Singer(2013). The motivations for good deed were classified into six types, including difficulty empathy, fandom reward, participation urge, nidana emphasis, experience subjugation, and memory evocation in the order of frequency of cases. Specific behaviors of PI were followed by donations of money and valuables for 54.4 percent, participation of social agendas for 14.0 percent, volunteering for 13.2 percent, joining campaign for 11.4 percent, other good deeds for 4.0 percent, and philanthropy for 3.0 percent. In occupational analysis, the concentration of donations was also evident. Their activities in the fields of human rights sensitivity, environmental protection and self-management, which are expected to have great effects with their influence, have been extremely poor. The results of the study first require academia to establish a interdisciplinary concept for PI. It also suggests that entertainers and their agencies should take far more strategic approach to evolve the PI event in a way that utilizes the advantages of each job group, such as actors, singers and comedians, and expands the diversity of areas.
