Fundamental Study on the Strength and Heat Transferring Charcteristic of Cement Composite with Waste CNT (폐CNT를 혼입한 시멘트 복합체의 강도 및 열전달 특성에 대한 기초적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop self-heating concrete by utilizing the conduction resistance of concrete in order to reduce the risk of occurrence of black ice in the concrete pavement in winter and to prevent damage caused by freez-thawing effect. For this purpose, it was attempted to evaluate the strength and temperature exothermic characteristics using powder and liquid waste CNTs and a waste cathode agent as a conduction promotion. It was analyzed that liquid waste CNT had an effective dispersion degree in the mortar and a small decrease in strength occurred. In addition, DC 24 V was supplied by applying steel mesh, copper foil and copper wire to the mortar as electrodes, and the temperature change characteristics according to the mixing ratio of spent CNTs, anodes and carbon fibers were evaluated. In addition, by evaluating the temperature characteristics according to the electrode spacing from the selected optimal mixture, it was confirmed that it had sufficient heating characteristics up to an electrode spacing of 100 mm up to AC 50 V.

  • As the delivery industry grew around the restaurant industry along with the COVID-19 situation, the number of delivery workers increased significantly. Along with that, new forms of delivery using personal mobility (PM) also emerged and two-wheeled or PM-related accidents are steadily increasing. This study manufactures a PM's driving analysis device to establish a safe delivery monitoring environment. This system was constructed to process data collected from the driving analysis device and through a cloud server, which would recognize and record special situations (acceleration/deceleration, speed bump) that could occur during the PM's driving situation. As a result, the angular speed, acceleration, and geomagnetic values collected from the IMU in the device were able to determine whether to drive, drive on the sidewalk, and drive on the speed bump. This technology was able to achieve approximately 1600 times more driving information storage efficiency than conventional image-based recording devices.

Job Stress among School Nutrition Teachers and Dietitians in Seoul during the Early Stage of the COVID-19 Pandemic: Effects on Self-Efficacy, Job Satisfaction, and Job Involvement (코로나19 팬데믹 초기 서울지역 영양(교)사의 직무스트레스가 자기효능감, 직무만족 및 직무몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was undertaken to assess levels of job stress, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and job involvement as perceived by school dietitians/nutrition teachers during the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic and to determine the effects of these three factors. An online survey was sent from May 18 to May 26, 2021, to school dietitians/nutrition teachers in Seoul with experience of foodservice operations during 2020; 250 responses were used for this analysis. Job demands contributed most to job stress, whereas human relations contributed most to job satisfaction. Job stress caused by COVID-19 had a negative impact on self-efficacy (P<0.01) and job satisfaction (P<0.01), but a positive impact on job involvement (P<0.05). Self-efficacy positively impacted job involvement (P<0.01) but did not significantly influence job satisfaction. However, job satisfaction during early COVID-19 positively impacted job involvement (P<0.05). In conclusion, job stress associated with job requirements was greater during the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic than before the pandemic guidelines are needed that enable school dietitians/nutrition teachers to better cope with the job pressures generated by infectious diseases.

Monitoring on Bolboschoenus planiculmis Restoration in Nakdong River Estuary: Implications for Wetland Restoration Using Shoot Transplantation (낙동강하구 새섬매자기(Bolboschoenus planiculmis) 복원 모니터링: 식물체(shoot) 식재를 이용한 습지복원)

  • Bolboschoenus planiculmis has been acknowledged as a key species in whooper swans (Cygnus cygnus) habitat by providing food for this migratory waterfowl. B. planiculmis wetlands are being degraded by water shortages and salinization caused by anthropogenic activities and climate changes. In 2004, the distribution of B. planiculmis in the tidal flats of the Nakdong Estuary was 2,475,568 m2, and in 2021, the distribution area was 798,731 m2, which decreased by 32.3%. In order to restore the degraded B. planiculmis wetlands, shoot transplantation and seed sowing were tentatively used in three places with different salinity and water levels. The average density per unit area in September at the optimal growth period after planting were A (fresh water level 50 cm) 58±15.65 m-2, B (brackish water level 0~5 cm) 188±63.83 m-2, C (brackish water level 0 cm or less) 188±45.13 m-2. The tubers were observed as A 0 g dw m-2, B 25.32±2.94 g dw m-2, and C 13.39±0.91 g dw m-2. Tubers were distributed in the soil, with only 3.0% at the 10~20 cm depth but 97.0% at the 0~10 cm depth. In contrast, the germination rate of B. planiculmis seeds was observed to be 0%. Results of this study provide technical support for the restoration of B. planiculmis wetland and the improvement in the quality of whooper swans habitat.

Construction of integrated DB for domestic water-cycle system and short-term prediction model (생활용수 물순환 계통 통합 DB 및 단기예측모형 구축)

  • 한정된 수자원의 이용 및 관리로 매년 물 부족과 물 배분 의사결정 문제가 발생하고 있다. 50년간(1965~2014년) 수자원의 총량은 약 1.2배 증가한 반면 인구수 약 1.8배, 생·공·농업용수의 수요는 약 5배가 증가(국회입법조사처, 2018) 했을 뿐 아니라, 기후변화의 영향으로 인한 강수량의 변화와 지역별 편차가 커져 지속가능한 물관리 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 따라서 효율적인 물관리를 위해서는 관리부처가 분절되어 있는 물순환 계통의 데이터를 통합하는 것이 우선시되어야 하고 이를 통해 물순환 모니터링/평가/예측 기술을 개발할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 생활용수 물순환 계통 통합 DB를 정의 및 구축하였다. 도시의 관점에서 물순환 시스템을 순차적으로 물 유입(수원~취수장)/전달(정수장~급수지역)/유출(하(폐)수처리장~방류구)의 개념으로 설정하고 DB정의서를 마련하였다. 연구대상지는 가뭄이 장기화가 되고 있는 전라남도중 물순환 계통이 비교적 단순한 네트워크로 형성되어 있는 함평군 도시지역으로 선정하였다. 연구 기간은 총 5년(2017년 1월 1일~2021년 12월 31일)이고 일 단위 실계측자료 위주의 원자료를 구축하였다. 이를 이상치 탐지, 제거, 대체의 과정을 거쳐 품질 보정하고 정제된 시계열 자료에 대한 특성 분석을 하였다. 그 결과, 물순환 계통 내 주요 지점 간의 상관관계 및 지연시간을 통한 물흐름의 시계열적 특성을 파악할 수 있었으며 모형의 적합도를 판단하는 데 활용되는 통계량과 유의미하지 않은 잔차의 자기상관성을 볼 때 물 유입-전달-유출의 단기 예측을 위한 ARIMA(Auto-regressive Integrated Moving Average) 모형의 구축도 가능할 것으로 판단되었다. 다만 여름철 발생하는 방류량의 첨두값을 설명하기 위해서는 강우에 의한 불명수 발생으로 증가하는 방류량을 묘사할 수있어야 하므로 향후에는 물순환계통 외 해당 지역의 불명수(강우 효과)도 하수 방류량의 주요 입력 요인으로 추가 검토할 필요가 있다.

Interfuel Substitution and Carbon Dioxide Emission in the Transportation Sector: Roles of Biodiesel Blended Fuels (수송부문의 연료 간 대체와 이산화탄소 배출: 바이오디젤 혼소 효과를 중심으로)

  • This paper investigates how interfuel substitution affects carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions with a focus on the use of biodiesel blended fuels. The results show that the Divisia elasticity of diesel demand is the greatest because the transportation sector relies heavily on diesel. Also, while the own-price elasticity of each fuel demand is negative, the results reveal that diesel demand is more inelastic than the demand for gasoline and LPG. Moreover, gasoline is a substitute for diesel and electricity, and diesel is a substitute for LPG and a complement for electricity. Regarding the effects on carbon dioxide emissions, this paper computes the potential CO2 emissions associated with interfuel substitution using the coefficients of CO2 emissions. The results show that using biodiesel blended fuels contributes to reducing CO2 emissions, but it appears that the price-induced interfuel substitution is a main factor affecting CO2 emissions.

The studies on the preference for attachment to the habitat marine environment and habitat space of Sulculus diversicolor supertexta in Jeju Island (제주도 오분자기의 서식 해양 환경과 서식공간에 대한 부착 선호도에 관한 연구)

  • As a series of basic research to draw the pilot design measures for developing the habitat apparatus of Sulculus diversicolor supertexta inhabiting the coastal area of Jeju island, this study conducted a water tank experiment to understand the habitat marine environment of Sulculus diversicolor supertexta and the preference of habitat space focusing on the research fisheries performing the discharge of marine products. In the composition degree of marine algae in both fisheries, Donggwi-ri showed the highest gulfweed (79.3%) as brown algae and there were some coralline algae (17.2%) as red algae. Hansu-ri yielded the highest gulfweed (48.1%) as brown algae, which was followed by sea lettuce (10.4%) as green algae. In the preference of habitat space, the shelter angles 40° showed the highest adhesion as number of 82.9, which was followed by 60° and 70° as 69.2 and 68.2 respectively (P<0.05) by reviewing the environmental characteristics of habit of Salculus diversicolor supertexta in the coastal fishery of Jeju Island, when considering the adhesion rate in each of five shelters with different angles. In the future, there should be continuous research and monitoring for designing the fish shelters suitable for the coastal fisheries of Jeju island, and it would be also necessary to add the field-centered sustainable concrete research.

A Study on the Status of Non-face-to-face software education (비대면 원격 소프트웨어교육의 실태 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is a method to discover problems and improve them by analyzing the status of software education of A primary school conducted by online class. The coronavirus infection-19(COVID-19) pandemic, which began in early 2020, has continued to delay the start of the new semester. Finally, on April 9, 2020, the first semester began with online class. While progressing non-face to face online class, most students said they had difficulties. Students solved difficulties in class with Internet searches or program hints, not teachers. In the post-class self-evaluation, most students answered that there was no increase in coding skills. To solve this problem, the school rents additional smart devices to student. schools should have real-time interactive classes. After covid 19, online class became a paradigm for classes. Therefore, software education will also require research and development of curriculum and teaching learning methods suitable for online classes.

Eco-ethical Approach to Sporting body: Focusing on Toegye's Gyeong (운동하는 몸에 대한 생태윤리학적 접근(1): 퇴계의 경을 중심으로)

  • This study attempted an eco-ethical approach to the sporting body, focusing on Toegye's Gyeong. A causes for the conflict between man and nature is a wrong view of nature derived from human desire. Toegye thought that the problem of desire could be overcome through Gyeong. Eco-ethical approaches of Toegye's gyeong thought are possible for the following reasons: First, because Toegye's gyeong is completed in nature. Second, because Toegye's gyeong emphasize human responsibility (consideration) for nature. Third, because gyeong is related to the ability to practice morality. Meanwhile, Toegye understood 'preserving the body well' as self-preservation and at the same time, as the meaning of a natural principle of following the laws of nature. From this perspective, the sporting body has meanings of physical fitness and mental health and at the same time, an aspect of ecological values of understanding man and nature as a single network and following the order of nature. Acquisition of Gyeong through the sporting body suggests the practice of 'gyeongsin (respect for the body)' and 'hwalgyeong (preservation of the ecological environment).' When human beings do physical exercise with nature, they proceed to the stage of building up the virtue of yosan yosu (finding happiness in mountains and water) through nature preserving the ecological environment (hwalgyeong) beyond staying at the stage of gyeongsin.

An Analysis of Operational Stability of the KOSPI-listed Energy Public Enterprise from the Perspective of Median Voter Theory (상장 에너지 공기업 경영 안정성 분석: 중위투표자이론의 관점에서)

  • This paper investigates the management stability of KOSPI-listed energy public enterprises from the perspective of median voter theory. We analyze the profitability and stability of five energy public enterprises during the period 2011~2022, and conduct an empirical analysis to determine whether they are related to the preferences of median voters who can represent the general public. Our analysis of the profitability and stability of the energy public enterprises shows that the stability of their has been deteriorating in recent years. The results of the empirical analysis also show that the management stability of the energy public enterprises is related to the preference of median voter. Specifically, they indicate that when the median voter's income is smaller than the average income, the profitability of the utility decreases and the debt ratio increases. This paper suggests that from the median voter's point of view, excessive utility and energy bills may strengthen the incentives for governments and politicians to suppress rate increases, leading to lower profitability and higher debt for public enterprises.
