  • Recent advances in the 4th Industrial Revolution have accelerated the change of the working environment, such that the paradigm of education has been shifted in accordance with career education including the free semester system and the high school credit system. While the purpose of those systems is students' self-motivated career exploration, educational limitations for teachers and students exist due to the rapid change of the information on education. Also, education technology research to tackle these limitations is relatively insufficient. To this end, this study first defines three requirements that education technologies for the career education system should consider. Then, through data-driven artificial intelligence technology, this study proposes a data system and an artificial intelligence recommendation model that incorporates the topics for career exploration, courses, and majors in one scheme. Finally, this study demonstrates that the set-based artificial intelligence model shows satisfactory performances on recommending career education contents such as courses and majors, and further confirms that the actual application of this system in the educational field is acceptable.

  • Sensor nodes that directly collect data from the surrounding environment have many constraints, such as power supply and memory size, thus efficient use of resources is required. In this paper, in a sensor node that receives location data of a vehicle on a lane, the data reception period is changed by the target's speed estimated by the Kalman filter and distance weight. For a slower speed of the vehicle, the longer data reception interval of the sensor node can reduce the processing time performed in the entire sensor network. The proposed method was verified through a traffic simulator implemented as MATLAB, and the results achieved that the processing time was reduced in the entire sensor network using the proposed method compared to the baseline method that receives all data from the vehicle.

  • Saemangeum Development is the largest national project in South Korea, which has been developed for an agricultural, economic and tourist area for 30 years from 1987. In order to convert power sources that used to depend on nuclear and thermal power to eco-friendly for carbon reduction, the government plans to construct a 2.1GW floating photovoltaic project by investing 4.6 trillion won, as a public-private project. For success of the Saemangeum floating photovoltaic project, economic feasibility should be checked. This study defined the factors (construction cost, electricity selling price, power generation and maintenance cost) that give a effect to the volatility of the floating photovoltaic payoffs, and analyzed the volatility of payoffs during 20 years operation period. NPV and option value of the project were calculated by applying an option to abandon. According to NPV analysis, it is determined that projects are difficult to invest. But this project has economic feasibility through real options analysis. This study is expected to help decision-makers in the economic analysis of floating photovoltaic projects by using the real options analysis.

  • With the spread of technology in the 4th Industrial Revolution, the defense industry in South Korea is getting developed into an industrial structure in which high-tech technologies are concentrated. As the importance of defense technology has gradually increased, the government has enacted the Defense Technology Security Act and required to build a protection system for institutions that possess or manage defense technology. In order for the target institution to introduce a protection system, it is necessary to identify the defense technologies that are protected and to ensure systematic data management. In order to cope with this, we derived master data items for data management and analyzed the implementation types of defense technology master data system suitable for the defense industry environments. The derived method identified the defense technology master data, such as primary and secondary master data, and through AHP analysis, Co-existence type was suitable as the target model for the master data management system. We expect that stronger defense technology security policy will be implemented through the defense technology MDM system.

Feasibility Study on Small-scale A/R CDM Pilot Project in Mongolia (몽골 소규모 A/R CDM 시범사업 타당성 평가연구)

  • Over the past 10 years, South Korea has implemented various plantation projects including the Pine Restoration Project in Tujiin Nars and the desertification prevention forestation in Lun soum. This study has evaluated the implementation feasibility on the small-scale A/R CDM projects in Mongolia through which carbon emission credits can be secured. Characteristics, pros and cons, economic feasibility, and project execution feasibility were compared among three possible sites, Khyalganat, Tujiin Nars, and Lun soum. Among the three evaluated sites, Tujiin Nars has the better condition in tree growth, economic feasibility, and the applicability of experience than the other two sites. A/R CDM project in Mongolia, which has a great environmental benefit of combating desertification, is expected to have some effectiveness such as lowering costs from credit benefit, sustainable management by villagers, contribution to communities, investor's contribution to society and achievement of green image, and strengthening forestry cooperation between Korea and Mongolia.

  • In this paper, we present a security analysis of Lightweight RFID Mutual Authentication Protocols-LMAP[10], $M^2AP$[11], EMAP[12]. Based on simple logic operations, the protocols were designed to be suitable for lightweight environments such as RFID systems. In [8,9], it is shown that these protocols are vulnerable to do-synchronization attacks with a high probability. The authors also presented an active attack that partially reveals a tag's secret values including its ID. In this paper, we point out an error from [9] and show that their do-synchronization attack would always succeed. We also improve the active attack in [9] to show an adversary can compute a tag's ID as well as certain secret keys in a deterministic way. As for $M^2AP$ and EMAP, we show that eavesdropping $2{\sim}3$ consecutive sessions is sufficient to reveal a tag's essential secret values including its ID that allows for tracing, do-synchronization and/or subsequent impersonations.

A Study on Improvement Measures Related to District Unit Planning to Induce Landscape-Friendly Planning in Non-Urban Areas (비시가화지역의 경관친화적 계획 유도를 위한 지구단위계획 관련 제도 개선방안 연구)

  • In this study, in order to induce landscape-friendly various development plans established at the district level, the contents of landscape plans appearing in domestic laws and systems and related previous studies are reviewed and comparative analysis is performed to advance the district-level landscape plan. The main focus was to explore the institutional methodology for this. The summary of the research results is as follows. First of all, as a result of analysis of the landscape plan content prescribed in the National Territory Planning Act and the enforcement decree of the same Act, the landscape plan content for natural elements and the landscape plan content for artifacts appeared mixed. Next, looking at the analysis results of the landscape plan contents in the Landscape Act, the Enforcement Decree of the same Act, and the landscape plan establishment guidelines, it is analyzed that the content mainly intended to improve the artificial landscape in terms of aesthetics, such as color, lighting, and buildings. Became. As a result of analysis of the landscape plan contents in the district unit plan establishment guidelines, it was found that the contents of the landscape plan for the skyline, night view, color, advertisements, and viewpoints were presented. As a result of the analysis of the landscape plan contents in the preceding study, the plan contents for ecological, recreational, and micro-visual aspects were revealed, and all three aspects aim to establish a landscape plan within the range of minimizing damage to nature. there was.   • This study is a study on the innovation resistance that may arise in connection with the introduction and use of smart factory-related technologies by SMEs. It is to study the effect of the leading factors of innovation resistance on innovation resistance and the effect of innovation resistance on use intention by using the extended innovation resistance model. A total of 176 survey data were used for the study, and the study was conducted using SPSS 25 and Smart PLS 2.0. Relative advantage, suitability, perceived risk, social impact, and organizational characteristics have a significant effect on innovation resistance, and innovation resistance was tested to have a significant effect on the intention to use. As an implication according to the research, a plan to improve the level of introduction and use of smart factories using the expanded innovative storage model was presented by dividing positive and negative factors, and factors that should be improved and factors that should be reduced are presented. Speed Prediction of Urban Freeway Using LSTM and CNN-LSTM Neural Network (LSTM 및 CNN-LSTM 신경망을 활용한 도시부 간선도로 속도 예측)

  • One of the methods to alleviate traffic congestion is to increase the efficiency of the roads by providing traffic condition information on road user and distributing the traffic. For this, reliability must be guaranteed, and quantitative real-time traffic speed prediction is essential. In this study, and based on analysis of traffic speed related to traffic conditions, historical data correlated with traffic flow were used as input. We developed an LSTM model that predicts speed in response to normal traffic conditions, along with a CNN-LSTM model that predicts speed in response to incidents. Through these models, we try to predict traffic speeds during the hour in five-minute intervals. As a result, predictions had an average error rate of 7.43km/h for normal traffic flows, and an error rate of 7.66km/h for traffic incident flows when there was an incident.

  • A 23-month-old Holstein cattle showed excess salivation and reluctance of walking and suddenly died after forced sudden movements. Grossly, numerous fibrous adhesions were present within cranial abdominal cavity including the reticulum and diaphragm and thoracic cavity involving lungs, pericardial sac, and heart. A perforation made by a 10 cm-long sharp-ended wire was detected in the reticulum. Histopathologically, fibrous suppurative epicarditis and myocardial necrosis were observed. Fibrosis with neovascularization were found in lungs, spleen, and liver. And granulomatous reticulitis was observed. For differential diagnosis, no pathogenic bacteria were detected through microbiological tests and PCR results were also negative for bovine susceptible pathogenic antigens. Based on the gross and histopathological examination, we diagnosed this case as chronic traumatic pericarditis. Cattle are inquisitive and prone to swallow various kinds of metallic foreign bodies since they do not use their lips. Therefore, avoiding ingestion of metallic objects in animal feed and animal areas by careful environmental management of farms is required and farmers should give the adequate minerals and vitamins into the feeds not to lick or shallow foreign bodies in case of mineral deficiency. For veterinary practitioners, physical examination, blood tests, and diagnostic imaging (X-ray and Ultrasonography) are required for an exact diagnosis. Furthermore, placing the magnets in rumen would be effective for prophylactic administrations.
