Study of Annoyance in Relation to Exposure Time to Demonstration Noise (집회소음 노출시간에 따른 성가심도 연구)

  • The size of urban areas is currently growing and the functions of cities are becoming increasingly complicated. Furthermore, more people are living in cities. The life of urban is getting closer and linked with neighboring people in many parts. In particular, people are making artificial noise, even though it might not consciously be noticed, in their daily live. Seoul is the most crowded place in Korea and the noise levels are 73dB or higher. People living in cities are exposed to noise pollution. In particular, loudspeakers used during demonstrations or to generate publicity, cause considerable noise, which in turn can be related to stress. Moreover, the noise restrictions defined by law are not adhered to. If enhanced noise regulations, no matter how residents are not forced to be a great stress field close to the noise and reduces the loudness -5dB do not feel well if the difference. Limiting the duration of noise rather than reducing the volume thus is a much more plausible way of reducing the damage caused by noise pollution. If the stress caused by the noise, you will see people or vehicles holding a megaphone at the roadside is not good for health if it may be a wise way to live that is getting rid of the noise pollution so quickly out of the area.

Functional MR Imaging of Language System : Comparative Study between Visual and Auditory Instructions in Word Generation Task (언어 중추 영역에 대한 기능적 자기공명영상: 시각적, 청각적 지시 과제에 관한 비교)

  • To evaluate the usefulness if functional MR imaging(MRI) for the determination of language dominance system and to assess differences in the visual and auditory instrument language generation task according to activation task or activated area. Functional maps of the language area were obtained during visual and auditory instructions in word generation tasks in 6 healthy volunteer with right-handness were examined on a 1.5T scanner and the EPI BOLD technique, and three pulse sequence technique get of the true axial planes. Both task consisted of 96 phases including 6 activations and rests contents. Postprocessing were done on MRDx program by using cross correlation method. Two task compare the blain activation area surveyed of 1anguage lateralization index. To evaluated of the detection rates of Broca. Wernicke, pre-frontal lobe, Supplementary Motor Area (SMA) and pre-motor cortex areas and the differences of language lateraliaztion among two word generation task To lateralization index survey in 1anguage area on right and left in brain get to activation area pixel in brain. Compared to visual and auditory instrument task in the language areas get to the lateralization index. Two language generation task high detection rates of Broca and Wernicke areas. The visual instruction no detected in the auditory area, and auditory instruction no detected in the visual area. There was statistics significant different of them among language generation task. 1'his indicated that language area obtained image of the brain functional MR imaging usefulness in the visual and auditory task instrument.

A Thronging Response of the Shoal of Rudder Fish , Seriola Dumerili ( Risso ) to Audible Underwater Sound (수중 가청음에 대한 잿방어 어군의 유집 반응)

  • A Held experiment was carried out to confirm the effect of underwater sound on the luring of fish school of rudder fish in a set net at the coast of Cheju Island. The effects of the acoustic emission on the luring of fish school were observed at a cage around a set net fishing ground using a manufactured underwater speaker. Underwater sounds that were emitted for the luring of fish school were the pure sounds of which frequency were 300Hz and 400Hz, engine noise and swimming sound. The results of the observation are as follows : 1. The input and output wave forms of a manufactured underwater speaker in water tank were similar to those in measurement frequencies. The result of the observation indicated that it could be used for the purpose of the sound emission in measurement frequencies. 2. The effect of the emitted pure sound of 300Hz, 400Hz was remarkable for the luring of fish school in 2 minutes after the sound emission. The reaction of fish school was more sensitive to the pure sound of 400Hz than 300Hz. 3. The effect of the emitted engine noise was more remarkable than that of the pure sound for 3 minute continuously. On the feeding sound, fish formed a shoal and swimmed, but didn't gather around the underwater speaker. 4. The feeding and swimming sound spectra on rudder Hsh showed similar sound pressure distribution each other, they appeared low sound pressure in frequencies of 200-600Hz.

North Korea's negotiating tactics and the corresponding direction -Based on the agreement concluded by inter-Korean high-level contacts- (북한의 협상전술과 대응방향 -남북 고위급접촉 및 공동합의문 타결을 중심으로-)

  • North Korea invaded South Korea on June 25, 1950 and the armistice agreement was reached on July 27, 1953. After that, there have been about 5,000 provocations large and small. In particular, North Korea attacked a naval vessel called "Cheonanham" on March 26, 2010. After the attack, Korean government announced the sanctions against North Korea, so called "May 24 sanctions". North Korea bombarded Yeonpyeong provocation on November 23, 2010 and they planted wood box mines in the DMZ on August 4, 2015. The explosion of them resulted in injuring two Korean soldiers. In response to this accident, Korean government resumed loudspeaker broadcasting against North Korea in 11 years which had developed as the psychological warfare. After this, North Korea declared "being a state of war" and intensified tension. Suddenly North Korea suggested talks and two countries reached an agreement through inter-Korean high-level contacts. But we should review whether the agreement was reached with ease and in haste. This paper focuses on the North Korea's negotiating tactics and suggests our corresponding directions for the future.
