Research Regard to Necessity of Smart Water Management Based on IoT Technology (IoT 기술을 활용한 스마트 물관리 필요성에 관한 연구)

  • The Objective of this Study is to Prove the Effectiveness of a Smart Water Management(SWM) Technology. The SWM Technology can Reduce the Production Cost using Internet of Thing(IoT) Technology that Utilizes Remote Metering of Consumer's Water usage and Reduce the Leakage of Supply Facilities. The SWM Demonstration Model Installed a Remote Water Leakage Sensor, Smart Metering and Micro Multi Sensor in Water Supply Facility, and Provided Real-Time Monitoring of the Operation Status. Consumers can be Provided the usage of Tap Water and the Water Puality through a Smart Phone Application. At this Time, we Surveyed Whether Consumers save the Tap Water or Drinking Directly using the Tap Water usage Information. Also, this Study is to Verify the Degree of Improvement of Water Supply Rates and Drinking Water Rate, and to Decrease Consumer's Complaints, Operating Costs, and Water Consumption by the SWM Technology. It is also Established a SWM Model Combined with the IoT Sensor at Supply Facilities, operator monitoring system and explored recovery solution detected events. It means the upbringing of the domestic water industry by developing the related technologies and spreading the SWM to advanced levels.

Formation and Growth of Epitaxial $CoSi_2$ Layer by Reactive Chemical Vapor Deposition (반응성 화학기상증착법을 이용한 에피택셜 $CoSi_2$ 박막의 형성 및 성장에 관한 연구)

  • Univorm epitaxial $CoSi_2$layers have been grown in situ on a (100) Si substrate at temperatures near$ 600^{\circ}C$ by reactive chemical vapor deposition of cyclopentadienyl dicarbonyl cobalt, (Co(η(sup)5-C(sub)5H(sub)5) ($CO_2$). The growth kinetics of an epitaxial $CoSi_2$layer on al Si(100) substrate was investigated at temperatures ranging from 575 to $650^{\circ}C$. In initial deposition stage, plate-like discrete $CoSi_2$spikes were nucleated along the <111> directions in (100) Si substrate with a twinned structure. The discrete $CoSi_2$plates with both {111} and (100) planes grew into an epitaxial layer with a flat interface on (100) Si. For epitaxial $CoSi_2$growth on (100) Si, the activation energy of the parabolic growth was found to be 2.82 eV. The growth rate seems to be controlled by the diffusion of Co through the $CoSi_2$layer.

  • Cyber attacks are threats to national security. Today, cybersecurity threats have various types, the theft or spread of privacy and national secret, the realization of direct attacks to infrastructure and the hacktivism with political or social objectives. Furthermore, There are special situations in South Korea because of North Korea's threats. Thus, It is necessary to handle cybersecurity as a kind of national security problem. It is a time to identify problems of governance system in cybersecurity and to improve related Acts and subordinate statutes. There are several tasks for legal improvement for governance system in cybersecurity. They are improving legal bases for the roles of the relevant authorities in cybersecurity, consolidating national joint response to cyber accidents, establishing and vitalizing information sharing system, constructing foundation of cybersecurity through industry promotion and manpower development, and acquiring defensive tools by enhancement research an development. In order to address these challenges, it is necessary to pay much attention to enactment and to revision laws and to practice legislative procedure.

Resource Allocation Scheme in an Integrated CDMA System Using Throughput Maximization Strategy (통합된 CDMA시스템에서 데이터 전송률 최대화 방법을 이용한 자원할당 방법)

  • It is required to have researches on efficient resource allocation schemes in an integrated voice and data CDMA system with the spreading of high-speed wireless internets. In this paper, we proposed a efficient resouce allocation scheme for providing a high speed data service in an integrated CDMA system. In an integrated voice/data CDMA system, resources for voice users are allocated with high priority and residual resources are allocated to the data service. In this case, it is necessary to use a resource allocation scheme for minimizing interference. In this paper, we first explain about a interference minimizing method and define QoS requirements. Based on the method, we proposed a efficient resource allocation scheme which satisfy the QoS requirements. The proposed scheme controls the transmission rate and delay of data users with a priority information such as the number of packets in a queue. From the simulation results, we show that the proposed scheme reduce the blocking probability and delay and improve the performance.

Computationally-Efficient Design of Training Symbol for Multi-Band MIMO-OFDM System (다중밴드를 사용하는 MIMO-OFDM에 적합한 연산효율적 훈련심볼의 설계)

  • In this paper, an efficient training symbol design with m-sequence is proposed for the MIMO-OFDM based next generation wireless transmission system which supports gigabits per second data rate. In the traditional blute force method, the preamble design is based on the case by case comparison with the system requirements. This paper discusses a training symbol design methodology for the MIMO-OFDM system based on the m-sequence which has been widely used in the spread spectrum communication areas due to its good correlation characteristics. Also the step-by-step design and performance verification method within the limited search space is discussed. The proposed method targets the design of the training symbol which satisfies system requirements for the packet based MIMO-OFDM wireless communication system including automatic gain control(AGC), timing synchronization, frequency and sampling offset estimation, and MIMO channel estimation.

  • The vehicle navigation system is a representative driver supporting system that available to present searching and guiding path functions, have been increased for usability. Under competition situation because of following the spreaded navigation market, to meet customer's needs about new given services, there are need differentiated services increasing dramatically. Also now, dash board indicates various vehicle's status and driver can aware of that. However it is not easy to know where is abnormal essentially and there are no devices to give warning to driver. Therefore, It is difficult to preserve accidents because it can't deal with various abnormal functions immediately on driving. In this paper, we proposed vehicle diagnosis program within navigation that is available to manage and to make a diagnosis of vehicle. And this program conform OBD-II standard, so it can transmit diagnosis data from ECU to navigation system using Bluetooth wireless communication protocol. Thus this program give enhanced services to customer as well as multimedia and geometry information services.

Energy Saving Algorithm of the Home Gateway considering Service Usage Patterns (서비스 사용 패턴을 고려한 홈 게이트웨이의 전력 절감 알고리즘)

  • Home Gateway is always on for continuous services of home networks. Ubiquitous home networks are extended. so power consumption of home gateways increases by geometric progression. Our algorithm is for home gateway to sleep, listen or wakeup according to network traffic adaptively, as well as to keep always-on service. To do this, it traces the accumulated average of previous sleep periods. In addition to this basic algorithm, we make the profiles for user's living pattern per the day to reflect network usages in detail and adaptively. As the simulation results by comparing with overall accumulated average and per-day accumulated average, in case of the overall accumulated average, the difference the estimation and real value is distributed from 0.43% to 4%. In contrast of this, in case of the per-day accumulated average is distributed from 0.06% to 2%. From this results, we know the profiling of per-day usage pattern can help reduce the difference of the real sleep period and the estimated sleep period.

  • Smart Phone supplies are diffused and substitute the Internet PC with Mobile communications which they are applied. Smart Phone in Smart Grid where electric power watch and the IT of existing amalgamate are used with business. Consequently from Smart Grid network connections which lead Smart Phone in about connection and control in about security vulnerabilities and Smart Grid networks the research is necessary in about vulnerability. It uses Smart Phone from the present paper and when approaching electric power watch systems which lead Smart Grid networks, it researches in about connection vulnerability. Also it uses Smart Phone and after connecting in Smart Grid networks a vulnerability in seizure possibility and, electric power information and control information, about private data etc. access authority it analyzes with the problem point which occurs it confronts it researches. And the research direction for a security reinforcement under presenting boil in about Smart Grid network security vulnerabilities which lead Smart Phone.

  • Routing protocols in Delay/Disruption Tolerant Networks(DTN) are important to enhance the performance of transmission delay and delivery success ratio. In this paper, we propose an efficient DTN routing algorithm, called "Nobility Pattern based Routing(MPR)", that controls the total number of transferred message copies based on mobility patterns of mobile nodes. We consider a realistic "Levy walk" mobility pattern that has a super-diffusive property which well represents human mobility pattern. We implemented a DTN simulator using ONE simulator for the proposed MPR algorithm and Levy walk mobility pattern. Simulation results show that mobility patterns are very important for accurate evaluation of DTN routing performance, and the proposed MPR enhances the routing performance of delivery delay and success delivery ratio under realistic mobility pattern.

Sensitivity Analysis for Active Control over Input Parameters in Tsunami Models (지진해일 모형 입력인자의 능동적 제어를 위한 민감도 분석)

  • 본 연구에서는 지진해일 모의결과를 바탕으로 하여 지진해일모형 결과에 민감하게 작용할 수 있는 다양한 입력조건을 분석하였다. 우선 2004년 인도양 지진해일 모의를 위하여 다중격자체계를 갖추고 있는 COMCOT모형과 수심적분된 Boussinesq모형의 결합모형을 사용하였으며, 근해역에 지진해일 충격 및 피해산정 결과에 유효한 영향을 주는 입력인자를 파악하기 위하여 4가지의 시나리오를 설정하였다. 각 시나리오에서는 3개의 서로 다른 독립인자가 포함되었으며 이들은 배타적으로 결정되어 최소한의 시나리오로 다양한 분석이 가능하도록 하였다. 즉, 시나리오 1에서는 지진해일의 초기수면상태를 산정하기 위한 간략화된 단층모형을 적용하였고, 이 때 바닥마찰에 대한 고려는 배제되었다. 시나리오 2에서는 시나리오 1과 모든 조건은 동일하게 하였으나 유한단층 모형을 통해 초기수면상태를 산정하도록 하였다. 이처럼 유사하게 시나리오 3에서는 복잡한 지형 특성을 나타내는 몰디브 지역의 보다 정확한 해석을 위하여 몰디브 지역의 상세격자망을 추가적으로 다중격자체계에 포함시켰다. 마지막으로 바닥마찰항에 대한 민감도를 분석하기 위하여 시나리오 4에서는 바닥마찰항에 대한 고려를 포함시켰다. 또한, 4가지 시나리오 외에 결합모형의 성능을 평가하기 위하여, COMCOT모형만을 사용하는 시나리오를 추가적으로 설정하였다. 즉, 시나리오 1과 모든 조건은 동일하되 COMCOT모형만을 사용하도록 하였다. 설정된 조건에 따른 수치모의 결과, 지진해일 내습에 따른 해수위 변화는 각 시나리오별로 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으나, Boussinesq모형에 의한 지진해일의 동수역학적 거동은 COMCOT모형을 사용한 결과와 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 특히 파랑에 기인한 난류적 거동은 극명한 대조를 이루었다. 따라서, 본 연구결과를 통해 향후 파랑에 기인한 난류적 거동의 정확모의를 위해 수치해석에 따른 확산오차 및 바닥마찰항에 대한 면밀한 연구가 필요함을 시사하였다.
