실시간 동영상의 전송을 위해 본 논문에서는 USB를 전송매체로 하여 구현했다. USB는 키보드, 스태너, 모뎀등 다양하게 사용되고 있는 인터페이스를 한나로 통일하고, 포트의 부족을 해결하기 위해서 개발된 것으로 고속의 데어터전송(12Mbps)을 가능하다. USB의 고속데이터 전송의 특징은 정지화상(JPEG) 뿐만 아니라 실시간 동영상(MPEG1, MPEG2)의 전송을 가능하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 USB로 실시간 동영상 전송을 위한 시스템 구조를 제시하였고 보다 효율적인 데이터 전송을 위한 USB Data Transfer Type에 관해 연구하였다. 720×480의 동영상의 압축을 위해 기존의 널리 이용되는 DCT대신 wevelet 알고리즘을 이용하였고 실시간 압축과 복원을 위해 video compression codec인 adv601를 사용하여 동영상 및 정지화상압축을 하였다. 또한 DSP(TMS320C32)를 이용하여 Quantization Bin Width Calculation을 함으로써 video bit stream의 크기를 가변적으로 제어하려 하였다. 이로서 동영상의 전송시 발생될 수 있는 데이터 병목현상을 해결 하였고 USB뿐만 아니라 다양한 통신망｛ISDN(128Kbps), T1(1.5Mbps) T3(45Mbps)｝에서의 동영상의 실시간 전송이 가능한 시스템 구조를 제시하였다.

This thesis is aiming at analysis and implementing Distance Video Lecturing System to guarantee the high quality in service through using less Network resource. Most of the usual Distance Video Lecturing System has been designed not in the system of Multiuser Conference but Point-to-Point. But from now on Distance Video Lecturing System is to be demanded on not only the expansion to Multiuser Distance Video Lecturing System, but high quality in service for users. To solve these problems, the Multicast Transmission Technology as the dimension of Network as well as highly efficient, advanced Compression Technology should be applied to Video Conference System in company with the expansion of Network bandwidth. The system suggested in this thesis is to help to offer an application service as Distance Video Lecturing System that will make popular on the basis of the character that the next generation Internet will be high speed Network.

Recently, Development of high-speed internet networks can be a real-time video conference system. SD-quality still images using the software codec system exists, and two-way system with mobile systems, but in most video only send and receive video system. In this study, HD web-cam using the two-way live broadcasts simultaneously in the education system and the mobile system has developed an audible system. In the study using the H.264 standard video compression techniques were applied to high-bandwidth compression technology, smart phones, to develop a streaming server for broadcasting were applied. Video sharing, document, web-sharing was made possible in real time. In addition, the private IP for WiFi zone, available anytime, anywhere that can be converted to a public IP technology, IP tunneling technology applied.

The vision system is easy to use the exclusive use as a independent computer system but it is not much popularization by reason of expensive and difficult to adapt to the various fields, because it is easy to the existed computer system, the price is cheap and also it can use to the various measurement purpose which user wanted and programed. The measurement method of the vehicle axle casing nut welding part is that measure the value of the welding part to adapt the actual operation program from using the ratio between the actual length of the standard specimen and the length of image, to measure the ratio between the actual product and the camera image. A defect is found by the assembled visual inspection system. The inspection algorithm which estimates the quality of welded product is developed and also, the software program which processes the automatic test function of the inspection system. We make the foundation of the inspection automatic system and we will help to apply other welding machine.

표준 비디오 압축 기법은 프레임 간의 시간적, 공간적 중복성을 이용하여 데이터를 압축한다. 압축된 프레임이 인터넷을 통하여 전송되는 중에 네트워크의 상태에 따라 패킷의 손실이 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 오류가 발생하면 손실된 블록을 포함하는 프레임의 화질 뿐 아니라, 이 프레임을 참조하여 압축된 이후의 프레임에도 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서는 전송오류가 발생한 경우, 디코더에서의 오류전파를 최소화하기 위해 보조 모션벡터를 이용한 압축 기법을 제안한다. 즉, 여러 개의 후보 프레임 중 현재 압축하려는 매크로블록과 가장 가까운 값을 가진 두 개의 매크로 블록을 선택하여 그 위치를 기본 모션벡터와 보조 모션벡터로 지정한다. 이때, 두 모션벡터는 서로 다른 프레임에 속한다. 디코더에서 압축해제를 위해 참조하는 기본 모션벡터의 프레임이 손실된 경우, 보조모션 벡터를 이용하여 원래의 화질에 가깝게 디코딩 할 수 있다. 이 기법은 오류제어를 위한 피드백 채널이 필요하지 않으며, 네트워크상의 전송오류 발생시 표준 H.263 압축보다 높은 성능을 보인다.

$\cdot$ 영상 압축은 영상의 통계학적 분포, 반복성을 이용하여 빈도가 높은 데이터는 적은 수의 bits를, 빈도가 낮은 데이터에는 보다 많은 수의 bits를 할당하여 전체 영상을 나타내는 bits 수를 줄이는 것임. $\cdot$ 영상 압축은 크게 Lossy Coding, Lossless Coding으로 나뉘며, Lossy coding은 DCT, 양자화기, VLC Codes를 쓰며 압축 율은 높으나 원래의 영상을 정확히 복원하지 못함. $\cdot$ 영상 압축에 대한 국제 규격 협회는 JPEG, MPEG I, MPEG II, MPEG IV, H.261, H.263 등이 있으나 본 seminar에서는 JPEG 규격만 논함. $\cdot$ 의학 영상은 Resolution이 크고 study 단위로 관리되기 때문에 영상 데이터량이 많으나 진단의 목적으로 쓰이기 때문에 주로 lossless 압축을 쓰게 되나 압축율이 낮음.(3:1 이하). 최근에는 Fractal, Wavelet Coding을 통한 압축율을 증가 시키는 Image Compression Algorithms이 활용됨. $\cdot$ MPEG은 동영상의 압축 표준안이며, 동영상은 한frame 당 25개 이상의 정지 화상으로 이루어지기 때문에 JPEG 규격에서 사용되었던 기법이 그대로 활용되며 영상과 영상간, 또는 frame과 frame 간의 여상의 변화, 움직임을 Vector로 coding하는 interframe Coding 기법을 활용하나 설명하기에는 광범위한 topic이므로 본 seminar에서는 생략함.

The paper describes an experimental investigation of axisymmetric diesel spray and flame which is held in rapid compression machine (RCM) with electromagnetic single injection nozzle. The axisymmetric diesel spray and flame are taken with high speed photograph and analysis it with image processor. The data presented include fuel concentration of spray, flame temperature, soot concentration of flame in axial and radial direction at a moment and compared it with each other.
