A Study on Status Analysis and Improvement of Heavy Cargo Logistics (중량물 물류 실태 분석 및 개선 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Interest and demand in heavy cargo logistics is increasing and becoming more diverse as economic scales have expanded and manufacturing activity has increased. Although cargo moves via maritime and/or land transportation, there is currently insufficient research on the actual condition of heavy cargo logistics. The purpose of this study is to carry out an in-depth analysis of heavy cargo laws, systems, logistics patterns, and current transportation status. By proposing measures to solve existing problems, this study aims to make an important and ongoing contribution to the scarcely studied field of heavy cargo logistics. The result of regression analysis on the main seven factors show that transportation frequency and law/system structure have a positive effect on working conditions. Furthermore, the result of correlation analysis on the main seven factors show that the cargo weight variable is highly positively correlated with cargo size. Also, the working conditions variable is highly positively correlated with the law/system structure. Detailed proposal measures to solve existing problems are summarized as follows. First, it is necessary to establish a clear concept of heavy cargo as numerous existing definitions differ. Second, laws and provisions relating to maritime and land transportation of heavy cargo need to be established and consolidated as current applicable legislation is insufficient. Third, the classification system for heavy cargo transportation needs improvement. Fourth, it is necessary to improve transportation performance statistics and the aggregate criteria system. Finally, the management system of heavy cargo also needs improvement.

Fuel Consumption Estimation Models for Heavy Freight Vehicles on Various Operating Speeds (대형화물차량의 주행속도에 따른 연료소모량 산정 모형 개발에 관한 연구)

  • It is common that basic unit and model of fuel consumption have been used to evaluate effectiveness analysis of transportation infrastructure investment programs. However they could not reflect vehicle characteristics such as loading capacity and types of heavy vehicles. For these reasons, this study reviews convention fuel consumption model which is widely used and conducts a field experiment for 5 classes of heavy vehicles. To develop the fuel consumption quadratic model the field data are used and we develop each model by classes, and then compare with convention fuel consumption model. As a result, between convention and suggested model, there are considerable differences, which have a similar pattern between an 11-ton cargo of convention model and a 25-ton cargo type dump truck of the suggested model. Likewise we identify that there is an approximately 26% gap between convention model result and the result which is calculated a weighted average by registered number of heavy vehicles based on 5 types of fuel consumption model suggested in this study. This result implies that convention fuel assumption model has a realistic limitation.

항만구역 내 선박 배기가스 산출량 연구 - 서산 대산항 컨테이너 부두를 중심으로 -

  • 국제해사기구(IMO)에서는 황산화물(SOx)에 대한 배출 규제를 강화하고 있다. 2020년 1월 1일부터는 황함유량 0.5% 이하 선박연료유 사용을 의무화하고 있다. 그리고 온실가스 배출량 모니터링을 2019년 1월 1월부터 시행하여 총톤수 5천톤 이상 선박은 연료유 사용량을 의무적으로 보고해야 한다. 또한 배출통제구역(Emission Control Area, ECA)이 확대되고 있으며 지역별로도 저유황유 사용 의무화를 도입하는 항만이 증가하고 있다. 이와 같이 항만구역에서 선박 배기가스 배출 규제를 강화하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 컨테이너 물동량이 증가하고 있는 서산 대산항 컨테이너 부두를 중심으로 항만구역에서 배출되는 배기가스를 산출하였다.

Effects of Cr, V, Mo and W on Solidefication Structure of Multi-Component White Cast Iron (다합금계 백주철에 있어서 Cr, V, Mo 및 W가 응고조직에 미치는 영향)

  • 다합금계백주철의 성분원소인 Cr, V, Mo 및 W 의 첨가량을 변화시켜 응고조직을 관찰하였다. MC탄화물은 초정 austenite dendrite 내에 괴상 및 구상으로 M7C3탄화물은 intercellular boundary에 꽃형태 또는 bar 형태로, 그리고 M2C 탄화물은 M7C3탄화물과 마찬가지로 intercellular boundary에 침상으로 정출하였다. 기지조직은 주방상태에서 pealite 또는 (pearlite + austenite)의 혼합조직으로 구성되어 있었으며, 또한 EPMA 분석결과 MC탄화물은 V, M7C3 탄화물은 Cr 그리고 M2C탄화물은 Mo 및 W가 주성분으로 되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 냉각곡선을 측정한 결과 액상에서 MC, M7C3, M2C 순으로 공정반응이 일어나고 있었으며 또한 X-선 회절시험을 통해 각 탄화물의 회절 peak를 관찰하였는바 응고조직의 사진과 잘 일치하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 21세기 국제항공운송 수요는 아시아의 급속한 수출입 화물량의 증가에 힘입어 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 항공물류 이해관계자들은 이러한 항공화물의 수요를 충족시키기 위해 시설 및 정보시스템 등에 대한 투자를 확대하고 있다. 하지만 항공물류 프로세스 전반에 걸친 시설 및 정보 시스템의 투자가 아닌 항공물류 주체별 개별 투자로 인해 동일한 목적을 지닌 시스템이 중복되게 사용되고 있으며, 상호 호환성에도 문제가 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 항공물류 프로세스 전반을 분석하고, 전술한바와 같은 물류 주체간개별 시스템의 호환성을 제고하기 위하여 RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification)기술을 도입한 항공물류 통합시스템을 제안함으로써, 항공물류 프로세스의 간소화 방안을 모색하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, experiment of thermal conductivity among thermal properties for CCS insulation material was carried out under the condition ranged from room temperature to cryogenic temperature. CCS insulation system should be sustained under cryogenic temperature($-163^{\circ}C$), and lots of investigations will be conducted how to block the heat to insulation material. CCS components which consist of various materials are especially the main interests, and how the temperature of the entire CCS along the location is should be investigated through these studies. With the experimental thermal properties, the steady state thermal analysis of the entire cargo system was conducted. When the LNG leaked through the insulation system with external impact, temperature distribution and thermal safety of secondary barrier, especially plywood and hull structure, was observed.

Inter-city Flight Connectivity and Polycentricity in the Yeongnam Region (영남권 도시 간 화물 연계성과 다중심성)

  • This paper reviews literature on urban connectivity, and reconsiders the concept of polycentric urban region and its analysis methods, and then, applying them, explores the inter-city flight connectivity and polycentricity in the Yeongnam Region. As results of analysis, it has been identified that the entropy index shows a relatively dispersing pattern of the urban network of the region, and that the dominance index reveals a more polycentric (that is, less hierarchic) character of the region than that of the Capital Region, while some differences are found among individual cities in the symmetry of connectivity and the dominance and/or dependence index. Even though flows of products in textile, basic metals, and automobile industries in sub-divisions of manufacture appear a pattern of concentring into the first central city, the urban network of the Yeongnam Region in general can be characterized as a polycentrism, and policy for polycentric regional development would be suggested.
