A Case Study on the Implementation of Context-aware based on Home Robot Service (상황인식 기반 홈 로봇 서비스의 구현사례)

  • Context-aware computing is an emerging paradigm to achieve ubiquitous computing environments by enabling computer systems to understand their situational contexts. A context-aware system uses context to provide relevant information and services to the user depending on the user's task. In this paper, we propose an ontology-based context-aware modeling methodology that transmits low-level contexts acquired by directly accessing various sensors in the physical environments to high-level contexts. With these high-level contexts, context-aware application can provides proactive and intelligent services using ECA (Event-Condition-Action) rules. We implemented a home robot service in smart office environment.

  • In this study, the intelligent robot equipped with an Android-based smartphone to enable the implementation of the performance of smartphone applications and robot platform has been designed and implemented. Smart phone that have touch screen, sound input/output, network and various sensor functions to robot platform that have simplicity function of power and motor etc. graft together and embodied so that can achieve function of remote control, home automation, game machine, R-running race etc. Phone used in the study of the Bluetooth communication sending and receiving data between the robot and from a remote computer over the Internet via WI-FI is designed to perform communication.

  • This paper developed a home wellness robot platform to perform the roles in basic health care and life care in an aging society. A robotic platform and a sensory platform were implemented for an indoor wellness service. In the robotic platform, the precise mobility and the dexterous manipulation are not only developed in a symbiotic service-robot, but they also ensure the robot architecture of human friendliness. The mobile robot was made in the agile system, which consists of Omni-wheels. The manipulator was made in the anthropomorphic system to carry out dexterous handwork. In the sensing platform, RF tags and stereo camera were used for self and target localization. They were processed independently and cooperatively for accurate position and posture. The wellness robot platform was integrated in a real-time system. Finally, its good performance was confirmed through live indoor tests for health and life care.

  • 본 논문에서는 Home Robots을 위한 OSGi 프레임워크(framework) 기반의 홈네트워크(home network) 미들웨어(middleware)를 제안한다. 홈네트워크 서비스는 가정에서의 편안함과 즐거움을 주기 위한 기술로서, 국제 산업 표준 단체에 의해 상호운용성에 대한 표준화가 진행되어 가고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 미들웨어는 Home Robots이 댁내의 네트워크에 동적으로 구성되며, 홈로봇을 통해 다양한 서비스를 이용할 수 있다.

  • In this paper, the algorithm and the computer simulation of a effective homing navigation system are presented. it is a combination of Path integration by using population coding and neural network and simple avoidance obstacle algorithm. Also, through the computer simulation, we demonstrated the feasibility of the suggested method.

  • Recently. the effort to make a robot alike human is increasing. The robot helps house work or make a service in restaurant is not a dream. In this paper, we studied home robot serves a beverage. Each 4 beverage has different color. (And robot can serve a drink to master with its color.) It can be applicable to other works need to recognize target object with color. Perhaps, This looks simple but it's idea can be a basis for more complex work.

  • 유비쿼터스 홈, 인명 방재, 지능형 로봇 등에 응용하기 위한 IEEE 802.15.4a 시스템은 실내에서 1m 이하의 측위 기능, 수Kbps ${\sim}$ 수Mbps의 통신 기능, 4개 이상의 SOP (Simultaneous Operating Pico-net), 30m이상의 통신거리 및 저전력을 요구한다. 이러한 표준을 수용하는 정밀측위 기능과 통신기능을 동시에 가지는 임펄스UWB SoC설계, 제작 및 시험기술에 대해서 언급하였다.

  • Characteristics of texture and groove precision lapping plate are experimentally investigated by Measuring frictional forces. It is found that the frictional coefficient decreases as the embedding of diamond particles progresses. The groove precision lapping plate with concentric micro-channels indicates superior capability in embedding micrometer-sized diamond particles and uniformity in diamond embedding compared with the texture precision lapping plate with a series of circular micro-channels.

  • 컴퓨터 시스템이나 네트워크의 보안을 강화하는 방안으로 보안상 취약성이 발견되는 보안 취약성을 점검 하는 것이 옳다. 그러나 취약성을 파악하기 위하여 국내외 관련 사이트를 수동적 방법으로 검사하는 것은 대단히 어려운 일이다. 따라서 스스로 관련 사이트의 홈 페이지를 검색하고 취약성 정보를 추출한 후 새로운 취약성 관련 정보가 발견되는 대로 이를 취약성 데이터베이스에 기록하는 이른바 취약성 자동 갱신 시스템[1]은 취약성 탐지 시스템의 핵심 기능이다. 본 논문에서 구현한 취약성 자동 갱신 로봇은 웹 페이지 자동 검색프로그램인 스파이더를 활용하여 구현되었으며, ICAT등과 같은 취약점 정보 제공 사이트들로부터 홈페이지를 검색하고 이에 수록된 정보를 수집 및 분석한 후, 취약성 데이터베이스를 자동으로 갱신한다.
