Diffraction Efficiency Characteristics of Holographic Grating derived from Slavich PFG-01 by a Bleach Technique (표백방법에 따른 Slavich PFG-01 홀로그래피 회절격자의 회절효율 특성)

  • The characteristics of diffraction gratings, fabricated using Slavich PFG-01 plates as a holographic recording material, were investigated using various bleach techniques. The changes in diffraction efficiencies, under given development conditions, resulting from the use of a new reversal bleach and a new fixation free rehalogenating bleach are investigated. From the experimental results, it was found that the diffraction efficiencies are influenced by the composition of the developer, the reversal bleach and the fixation free rehalogenating bleach. In this study, the highest values of the maximum diffraction efficiency was obtained when PFG-01 plates were developed in AAC developers contained with l-ascorbic acid 20 g/L and sodium carbonate 60 g/L, processed by a reversal bleach, as high as 89.0%. Moreover, the maximum diffraction efficiency of 82.1% was obtained when PFG-01 plates were processed by a fixation free rehalogenating bleach. In addition, higher diffraction efficiencies are yielded in the case of the revesal bleach than in the case of the fixation free rehalogenating bleach.

A Study on the Holographic Optical Element for Multiple Image Processing (다중 영상처리용 홀로그래피 광학소자에 관한 연구)

  • Holographic optical element(HOE) is fabricated with the properties of lightweight, thin thickness and interconnectivity for free space. Particularly, HOE for optical interconnection and multiple image processing should have a high efficiency and equal spot intensity, Nonlinear equations for 2-dimensional binary phase grating(BPG) structure is solved by computer simulation based on modified Newton method. Computer-generated pattern drawn by plotter is scaled down and translated into the microfilm. After contact printing between the microfilm and silver halide hologram film, phase diffraction grating produces the $5{\times}5$ multiple spots. Experimental results are shown that bleached phase grating has a high efficiency and equal focused beams except central zero order.

  • 평면광도파로 브래그격자는 광도파로 내부의 코어의 굴절률을 주기적으로 또는 비주기적으로 변화시켜 특정 파장의 빛을 반사시키거나 투과손실로 작용하게하는 광소자이다. 이러한 광소자는 광가감다중화기, 분산보상기, 파장선택형 반사거울, 파장제거필터, 증폭기의 이득평탄화, 광스위치등 여러분야의 소자 개발의 핵심적인 기능을 부여한다. UV 엑시머레이저의 출력을 게르마늄이 첨가된 실리카 유리에 조사하여 격자구조를 형성시키는 방법이 Hill 등에 의해 발표되었고 이후, 홀로그래피 방법, 위상마스크 방법등 여러 가지의 광섬유 격자 형성방법을 활용하여 여러종류의 광통신소자들이 연구되었다. (중략)

  • Two-dimensionally arrayed nanocolumn lattices were fabricated by using double-exposure laser holographic method. The hexagonal lattice was formed by rotating the sample with 60 degree while the square lattice by 90 degree before the second laser-exposure. The size and period of nanocolumns could be controlled accurately from 125 to 145 nm in diameter and 220 to 290 nm in period for square lattice by changing the incident angle of laser beam. The reactive ion etching for a typical time of 30 min using CH$_4$/H$_2$ plasma enhanced the aspect-ratio by more than 1.5 with a slight increase of the bottom width of columns.

  • 본 논문에서는 $As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ (300nm)박막과 $As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ (300nm)/Ag(20nm)박막에 홀로그래피 격자를 형성시킨 후 Tg 온도$(240^{\circ}C)$를 기준으로 하여 유리질 천이온도(Tg) 온도 이하 $(190^{\circ}C)$와 이상$(270^{\circ}C)$에서 열처리 시킨 후의 회절효율 변화를 알아보았다. $As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ (300nm) 박막의 경우 $190^{\circ}C$ : 50%, $240^{\circ}C$ : 약80%, $270^{\circ}C$ : 약 98%의 회절효율 감소가 일어났으며 $As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$(300nm)/Ag(20nm)박막에서는 Tg 온도 이하 즉 $190^{\circ}C$, $240^{\circ}C$ 에서는 회절효율의 변화가 없었으나 Tg온도 이상인 $270^{\circ}C$에서는 약 1.5배 증가한 회절효율을 나타내었다.

NAH method for reducing sound source generated in air-conditioning rotary compressor (NAH기법을 이용한 공조용 컴프레서 소음저감 응용)

  • The paper demonstrates how to deal with the Near-field Acoustic Holography method (NAH) for reducing noise source which is generated in air-conditioning compressor. Sound radiation was measured for both normal compressor and fault compressor. The acoustic noise holograms are predicted by measuring at discrete multiple points around the two compressors and are thereafter reconstructed on the surface of the compressors. 1344 measuring points are used by two microphones in which one is scanning microphone and the other is reference microphone. NAH is a good tool for the visualization of Sound so we can show the source of sound graphically. In this paper, the NAH method found the exact noise source position on the surface of the compressor and the noise-related sub part in the compressor. We found the NAH and is very useful as a noise reduction tool for home-appliance device.

  • Silver-halide sensitized gelatin(SHSG)의 처리 과정에서 silver-halide입자가 감광유제(emulsion)로부터 제거되고, 노출영역과 비노출영역 사이의 gelatin경화정도로 인한 굴절률 변조로 홀로그램 이미지를 기록한다. 일반적으로 널리 사용되는 홀로그램 감광물질로는 silver-halide, dichromated gelatin, photoresist, photochrome 등이 있는데, 이중 silver-halide는 다른 감광물질과 비교하여 고해상도와 큰 감광대역폭, 높은 S/N비, 취급의 용이성과 경제적 이점, 균일한 제품으로 상용화될 수 있다는 점에서 가장 편리하게 사용되고 있는 기록 매질이다.   • 현재 고속 판독률(fast-readout-rate)과 고밀도(high-capacity) 디지털 데이터 정보저장을 위해 불륨 홀로그래피(volume holography) 기술에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다. 이러한 특징들은 다중 데이터 페이지(mulitple data page)들을 중첩(superposition)시킴으로서 이루어지며, 각각의 페이지들은 100만 픽셀이상의 정보를 가지고 page/msec의 속도로 병렬 엑세스가 가능하다. 최근 연구논문에서는 10,000 페이지의 충첩 홀로그램,$^{[1]}$ 데이터 추출을 위한 디지털 처리기술의 사용,$^{[2]}$ 광학적인 데이터 접근$^{[3]}$ , 박막 매질을 이용한 높은 면적 밀도(10bits/$mu extrm{m}$$^2$)$^{[4]}$ 등이 구현되었다. 그러나 이들 실험들은 대량의 병렬 데이터 페이지들의 실질적인 광-전 변환(optical-electrical conversion)을 구현하지 못해 고밀도와 빠른 접근 속도를 동시에 만족시키지 못하고 있다. 이러한 원인중에 하나로 출력의 CCD 픽셀 격자위에 입력의 SLM픽셀 격자를 정확하게 결상시키는데 어려움이 있기 때문이다.   • This paper shows that the diffraction efficiency is influenced by superadditivity for the combination of the different developing agent and concentrations in the reversal bleach applied to the Slavich PFG-01 plate to be used for recording transmission holograms. The four developers based on ascorbic acid in combination with metol, phenidone, hydroquinone respectively, were studied. In diffraction efficiency aspect, the superadditivity effect of mixture of two developing agents is lower than one developing agent developer, AAC in the reversal bleach.
