완전미 가공시설 실태조사 연구

  • 쌀의 연간 생산량은 재배기술의 발달과 더블어 500만톤 이상을 꾸준히 유지해 오고 있는 반면에 식생활패턴은 점차 인스턴트화 되고 육류소비가 증가함으로써 1인당 소비량이 1990년 119.6kg에서 2002 년 87.0kg으로 급격히 감소하는 추세를 보이고 있다. 이러한 현상은 재고누적으로 이어져 2002년말 기준으로 1,190만석의 재고가 발생되고 있으며, 더욱이 WTO체제하에서 쌀시장 개방압력이 강화되고 있는 실정으로 앞으로 재고문제는 더욱 심화될 것으로 전망되고 있다. 이렇게 쌀이 남아도는 현실에서 국내 유통미의 품위는 싸라기 및 분상질립, 피해립, 이물 등 불완전립의 비율이 매우 높아 일본산이나 미국산에 비해 품질이 현저히 떨어지고 있어 고품질 가공을 통한 차별화가 시급히 요청되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 최근 고품질 쌀 가공을 위해 설치 운영되고 있는 완전미 가공시설을 중심으로 완전미 가공기계장치의 구성 실태 및 제품의 품위 등을 조사분석하여 완전미 가공 기계장치의 개량요인을 도출하고, 이를 토대로 기계장치를 보완하기 위한 기초자료를 얻고자 하였으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 현재 보급되어 있는 완전미 가공시설의 구성형태는 기존 미곡가공시설에 홈선별기를 1대를 추가 설치한 제 I유형, 색채선별기1대 + 홈선별기 1대를 추가설치한 제II유형, 색채선별기 1대+입선별기 (개조) 1대를 추가한 제III유형으로 크게 나누어지고 있다. 이들 시설의 도정능력은 백미 가공시에는 I, II, III유형에서 각각 24.0, 27.7, 24.0톤으로 높았던 반면에 완전미 가공시에는 각각 3.1, 5,3, 4.5톤으로 처리능력이 크게 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 가공수율면에서는 일반백미로 가공시 72.0% 수준이었으나 완전미로 가공시에는 64.3%로 7.7%의 수율 감소를 가져왔지만 완전립률이 일반백미로 가공시 I, II, III유형에서 각각 89.08, 91.57, 88.00% 에서 완전미로 가공시에는 각각 98.02, 98.43, 97.78% 높아져 품질이 크게 향상되었다. 따라서 완전미 가공시설을 도입할 경우 쌀의 외관품질을 크게 높일수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또 현재의 완전미 가공시설에 있어서 개량이 필요한 부분은 미숙립 등을 효율적으로 제거해 가공효율을 높이기 위해서는 입선별기의 개량이 요구되었으며, 홈선별기의 경우에는 선별정도는 문제가 없었으나 처리능력의 향상이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 완전미 가공효율을 높이기 위한 선별기 개량연구를 계속 수행중에 있다.

Study on the Types and Features of China's Idle Schools -A Case Study on Pingle County of Guilin, Guangxi- (중국 폐교의 유형 및 특성 분석에 관한 연구 - 광시성 계림시를 중심으로 -)

  • Due to the impact of birth rate, the school age population decreases year by year, and as a result, the Ministry of Education conducts the layout adjustment for middle and primary schools and cancels substantial rural schools. Nearly half of the cancelled and idle schools are not applied till now. Combining the practical demand of local residents, it is quite necessary to make use of the idle schools effectively again. Consequently, field investigation is conducted for the architectural status of 28 idle schools in Pingle County of Guilin, Guangxi, and detail investigation and analysis has been carried out for the different scales of schools from various aspects, including the covered area, traffic, building construction, space composition, degree of aging, etc. The investigation result shows that small teaching schools are remote, being small in scale, single in space and serious in aging. Complete primary schools are close to the villages and towns, being large in scale, abundant in space, and well preserved. The teaching schools are between the previous two types. Meanwhile, it is generally convenient in traffic, and good in structure. It can provide fundamental data for the future utilization and study.

Comparison of the Friction-Loss Coefficient for the Gap of Two Contact Surfaces and a Crack (접촉한 두 평면과 균열한 틈새에서의 유동마찰계수 비교)

  • A leak-detection method has been developed by measuring the pressure variation between the inner and outer heattransfer tubes of a double-wall tube steam generator. An experiment was carried out to measure the leak rate in the gap between two surfaces pressed with a hydraulic press in order to simulate the phenomena, and a correlation was determined for the leak rate in a micro gap. However, in the correlation, the gap width and friction coefficient were coupled with the surface roughness, which affects the two parameters. The two parameters were separated using a surface-contact model to develop a correlation for the friction coefficient. The correlation was compared with the existing correlations used for crack analysis. Although the applied ranges of Reynolds numbers were different, the developed correlation for Reynolds numbers of 0.1.0.35 showed similar tendencies to existing correlations used for higher Reynolds numbers.

  • The outer surfaces of free form buildings contain panels with two-directional curvatures. To construct these panels, complex geometric surfaces should be divided into forms and sizes that can be manufactured and constructed efficiently. Because the bigger the curvatures of these panel, the more expensive the construction costs, these complex curvatures should go through optimal process of reinterpretation to minimize the curved surfaces with complex two-directional curvatures, which is called panel optimization. Small construction and design companies have trouble in calculating even rough estimate and cannot adjust expected construction cost of the panels based on comparison of design alternatives in conjunction with panel optimization process due to lack of knowledge and experience. This study conducts the research that can support designers' cost decision-making in the design stage of the free form buildings with respect to the panel optimization process. A 3D commercial application specialized to modeling free form shapes is used for the purpose.

  • TRUTEC building, which is located at DMC B block is zone, is just one the office building in Soeul. TRUTEC building is designed by Barkow Leibinger Architeken in Germany, has 5 stories under and 12 stories above and has been finished with the unique three dimensional curtain wall unit. Big trial to make unique elevation succeeded as getting rid of the typical plain curtain wall unit. In addition, aluminum bars are treated by the latest CNC machine in order to achieve 3D section. Construction of curtain wall is highly focused from the moment of contract to keep the schedule because the contract period is 18 months. Regular design meeting and technical meeting between stakeholders including construction manager, designer, engineer, consultant and so on have been held during the construction to minimize the risks from the unique elevation and trial. Step by step mock-up test (design mock-up and visual mock-up on site) has been performed before functional mock-up test.

Characteristics of Opaque Endosperm Originated from a Rice Cultivar ′Pokhareli Mashino′ (벼품종 ″Pokhareli Mashino′에서 유래된 Opaque형질의 배유특성)

  • This experiment was conducted to investigate the endosperm characteristics of an opaque rice which was derived from an Indica cultivar Pokhareli Mashino. Grain apperance of opaque rice looked similar to the waxy grain, while the blue-color response to the iodine solution was similar to non-waxy endosperm. The shape of starch granules was alike each other, but their size were different each other with the smallest of the opaque rice. Their cristaline structure of starch granules were A type. The content of total protein and most of the amino-acids of opaque rice was about 1.5 times of other varieties. Alkali digestibility of the opaque rice was very low. Total water uptake and hydration rate of opaque rice was similar to non-waxy variety Tongil. Amylogram characteristics such as viscosity, setback and consistency of opaque rice revealed medium value between. waxy and non-waxy rice.

  • Small and middle sized architectural design firms still have trouble using BIM (Building Information Modeling) for their tasks, which means that it is necessary to develop BIM Libraries and Technical contents. These BIM libraries should be based on common technical standards that reflect the technical contents to provide optimum BIM design support. This is essential to reduce the technological burden on the design office, because BIM does not just involve the 3D modeling of the design, but provides very important information for calculating the quantity of materials required for the construction and providing materials for the design work. Therefore, this research was aimed at improving the efficiency of the BIM design process by developing a system module based on the BIM technical contents data for the purpose of linking the BIM data and technical contents. The developed system module will be expanded to other uses of BIM in the long term.

  • 도로설계기준(2012)에 따르면 노면 배수시설은 측구, 집수정, 배수관, 배수구(빗물받이, 맨홀) 등으로 구성되며 중앙분리대 배수에서 구조가 방호벽일 경우 원칙적으로 집수정과 종배수관, 횡배수관을 설치하여 노면수를 배수한다. 최근 기후변화에 따른 국지성 집중호우로 교량 배수시설의 배수능력 부족으로 교량의 노후화, 노면의 체수와 수막현상을 야기한다. 교량 설계 시, 교량의 외관은 점배수에 의한 배수불량으로 막힘부에서의 식물생육, 부식, 배수구의 오염 등으로 심미성에 악영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 국토교통부 도로 배수시설 설계 및 관리지침에서는 기존의 집수정으로 유도하여 배수하는 점배수 형태에서 우수의 지체시간을 저감하기 위해 배수구로 즉시 배수되어 배수 효율을 증가시켜주는 선배수시설을 권장하고 있다. 그러나 선배수 구조의 일반적인 내용만을 기술하고 있으므로 보다 상세한 설계기준이 필요하다. 또한 국내에서는 교면 배수를 위한 횡배수구의 배수능력에 관한 설계 개념은 미국의 빗물받이 설계 개념을 그대로 적용하고 있어서 교량 배수시설의 배수능력 증대를 위한 수치 및 수리실험에 관한 기술적인 자료가 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 도로의 흐름해석 및 선배수를 위한 측구 횡배수관의 흐름개선에 관한 구체적인 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 배수로 전반의 유향 분석 및 횡유입관 유입부에서의 상세한 흐름해석과 통수능력을 분석하기 위해서는 수리실험을 통한 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 그러나 최적 횡배수관의 형상 및 간격 설정에 대한 수리실험의 물리적 및 시간적 한계를 극복하기 위해 Fluent 모형(Ansys Workbench 13.0)을 활용한 수치모의를 수행하여 모형의 적용성을 검토하였다. 다상유동 해석을 위해 VOF(Volume of Fluid)방법을 적용하였고, 수치해석 방법으로는 비정상류, 난류 모형으로는 standard ${\kappa}-{\varepsilon}$모형을 적용했다. 도로 형상에 따른 우수유출량을 비교 분석하기 위하여 횡경사는 2%로 고정하고 종경사를 2%로 선정하여 수치모의를 통한 배수능력을 분석하고 설계에 직접적인 적용성을 검토하였다. 횡배수관의 간격변화 및 배수공의 위치 변화 등에 따른 차집량을 분석하였으며, 개략적인 수리실험 결과와 수치모의의 차집율을 비교 및 분석하여 Fluent 모형의 적용성을 확인하였다. 또한, 횡배수관의 유입부에서의 유속 변화 및 유출부에서의 유속이 모의가 가능하므로 배수시설에서 보다 정확한 흐름 해석이 가능하여 보다 적정한 배수능력 분석이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

Freshness Prolongation 'Tsugaru' Apple by Pressure Cooling (차압예냉처리가 쓰가루사과의 선도유지에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of precooling in the prolongation of freshness of Tsugaru apple. Tsugaru apple was precooled to 1$^{\circ}C$ by the pressure cooler and stored at 1$^{\circ}C$ and 25$^{\circ}C$. Precooling time was required about 5 to 6 hours for Tsugaru apple that filled in the plastic container and faster than that in the carton. The respiration rate was decreased with the reduction of the product temperature by precooling. Tsugaru apple could store about 9 days and 35 days at room temperature and 1$^{\circ}C$, respectively.

Effect of Salt Soluble Protein Extracts from Anchovy on Quality Characteristics of Sausage (멸치 염용성 단백질 추출물 첨가가 소시지의 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of salt soluble protein extracts from anchovy (ASSPE) on sausage during storage at $10^{\circ}C$. Sausages were produced containing 5 and 10% ASSPE. Sausages containing ASSPE showed no significant differences in emulsion stability, color, pH, moisture, viable cell count, and VBN compared to the control. The hardness significantly increased with the addition of ASSPE, and sausages containing 5% ASSPE were the highest in gumminess. In the sensory evaluation, sausages containing 5% ASSPE had the highest score in appearance and springiness. In conclusion, the addition of ASSPE in sausage had no effects on storage characteristics, but had a good effect on improvement of quality and sensory characteristics. Especially, 5% ASSPE sausage had good texture and high sensory characteristics due to increased binding capacity. These results suggest that 5% ASSPE may improve the quality and sensory characteristics of sausage.
