Impact Resistance of UHPC Exterior Panels under High Velocity Impact Load (고속충격을 받는 외장 UHPC 패널의 내충격성능)

  • This experimental study aims to evaluate the impact performance of UHPC exterior panels through high velocity impact tests. The impact performance of UHPC was compared with that of granite in terms of panel thickness, and strain histories were recoded on the rear face of panel specimens. The UHPC turned out to be a good exterior facade material, because the appearance of UHPC is natural enough and impact performance was superior to granite. After colliding, compression pulse reached to the rear face but that pulse was reflected in tension pulse with respect to the free point outside the rear face of the panel. This tension pulse caused the scabbing from the rear side, as the strain histories on the rear face showed three different regions as compression region, steady region and tension region. The shear plug deformation by shear force also was one of the primary reasons for the scabbing based on the observation. Therefore, the scabbing seemed to be affected by both tension and shear forces.

Forms of Armhole for Improving the Appearance of Knitwear (니트웨어의 외관향상을 위한 소매 암홀 형태)

  • This article investigates the production process of knitwear focused on patterns and armhole forms in order to provide basic data for its value-added production. This study was based on empirical data obtained by questionnaires given to 51 respondents employed at knitwear companies. The data had been statistically analyzed with frequency analysis, one-way ANOVA, and Duncan test. The results of this study are the following: First, many knitwear companies used knitting machines, which had gauges as high as 14G. Second, most knitwears companies did not use patterns in the production process. Third, most knitwear companies produced knitwears in which armhole lines were different between the front part and back part of the body, while identical between the front and back parts of the sleeves. Fourth, people with experience in the knitwear industry had the tendency to recognize that armhole lines should be different between the front part of both the body and sleeves and their back part as well, and workers in charge of knitting recognized better than programmers and designers did. Considering the opinions of experienced workers that armhole lines differ between the front and back parts of both the body and sleeves would improve the appearance of knitwear, this study also suggests knitwear patterns of 10G and 16G by using ESMODE's basic knitwear pattern.

A Study on Establishing of Fit Test Conditions for Slacks (슬랙스 맞음새 평가 도구 설계에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, fitness tests for slacks were divided into shape fitness test and motion fitness test, and the fitness test conditions for slacks were designed as the first step for standardization of measuring scales. Shape fitness test consisted of analyzing the parameters of appearance sensory tests as described in preceding studies, performing a simulated appearance sensory test, collecting and considering apparel experts' opinions about the test parameters, and establishing test conditions in terms of test regions, descriptions and faces. For the regions of the abdomen, hip, crotch, thighs, and knees, the parameter of unnecessary wrinkle/stretch was observed from the anterior and posterior body, and then evaluated; for waist, hip, crotch, knee and hem circumference, the parameters of ease and horizontality were observed from the anterior body and posterior body followed by evaluation; and, at the levels of waist, hip, crotch, knee and hem circumference, the division of the lateral line were observed from the lateral body followed by evaluation. Motion fitness test was composed of reviewing and analyzing comparatively the methods of motion fitness tests as mentioned in preceding studies, and establishing test conditions in terms of test motions and test regions. For each of the waist, abdomen, hip, crotch, and knees, wear sensation was tested in the positions as follows: upright standing, moderate walking, chairsitting, bending forward to the maximum, and kneeling down, provided that as the measured points of garment pressure, anterior waist, abdominal protrusion, buttock protrusion, crotch, and midpatella were set and tested.

  • This research focuses on the humboldt's thought for language. In Korea, only two themes, 'worldview' and 'nation' , problem of 'energeia' and 'ergon', was mostly researched. But we must research all together his thoughts, in order to understand his complete thoughts. His thoughts consist six themes : 1 . relation between thought and language. 2. problem of language-generation. 3. problem of translation. 4. substance of language. 5. worldview and nation. 6. energeia and ergon. From this five themes, we can understand, what his origin thought is. Therefore, we explained sequentially five themes in our paper. The theme 1, 5 and 6 are often interpretated between the scholars in Korea. But the theme 2 and 3 are not yet known. Therefore, we tried to explain it in this paper, what the problem of language-generation and the problem of translation are.tion and the problem of translation are.

  • Vehicle classification data are considerably used in the almost all fields of transportation planning and engineering. Highway agencies use a large number of vehicle classification schemes. Vehicles on the national highway are classified by 12-Category classification system, using number of axles, distances between axles, vehicle length, overhang, and other factors. In the case of using existing axle-sensor-based classification counters (that is, 12-category classification system), two-axle vehicles(Class 1 to 4) can be erroneously classified because a passenger vehicle becomes larger and similar with class 3 and 4. In this reason, this study proposes the vehicle classification scheme based on using vehicle height profiles obtained by a laser sensors. Also, the accuracy of the proposed method are tested through a field study.

  • Recently, the free form buildings are constructed frequently. Exterior and interior components of these buildings have the free cross-section and a curved shape. So, There are many usages of classical finite element having tapered section and free-style shape. Some general commercial applications like ETABS, SAP2000, MIDAS are usually used for the safety evaluation of the free form structures. However, there are some limits in the accuracy of structural analysis and the length of analysis time because a very complicated finite element mesh have to be used. Therefore, In this study, a pre and post program module was developed to take advantage of general 3-D curved beam element which has a free-style curved shape and mathematical backgrounds. Pre-post processing module has been developed in this study was developed to control the curvature of the curved members by the NURBS control points. As a result, fast geometric modeling than was possible commercial applications. In addition, realistic depiction of the shape and behavior patterns were possible because of the free-form building allows visual check of the free form.

The Effect of CTSA Treatment on the Corrosion Resistance of AA5052 Alloy (AA5052 합금의 내식성에 영향을 미치는 CTSA처리의 영향)

  • 스마트폰 및 카메라 케이스 등에 널리 적용되고 있는 알루미늄은 내식성, 내마모성과 같은 물리적, 화학적 성질이 우수하지 못하여 이를 향상시키기 위해 양극산화법이 산업적으로 널리 이용되고 있다. 알루미늄에 양극산화법을 적용하면 강도, 내마모성 및 내식성이 향상될 뿐만 아니라 알루미늄 표면에 규칙적으로 배열된 30nm~100nm 크기의 pore에 염료를 흡착시켜 다양한 색상의 외관을 가지는 양극산화피막을 형성시킬 수 있다. Pore간의 간격은 수십 nm~수백 nm 정도이며, pore의 크기와 간격 및 깊이는 양극산화조건(양극산화 전압, 전해액의 종류와 농도 및 온도)에 의해 크게 변화한다. 본 연구에서는 CTSA를 통한 AA5052합금의 양극산화 착색처리와 내식성의 개선 여부를 조사하였다. 알루미늄은 Al5052에는 Mg 외에, 소량의 Si을 포함하고 있다. 이 Si는 알루미늄 표면에 석출물 형태로 존재한다. 이 Si 석출물은 양극산화 시 기지상의 알루미늄 표면의 pore 형성을 방해하는 원인이다. 이러한 Si 석출물의 존재가 균일한 pore 형성을 방해하게 되고, 불균일한 포어를 가지는 표면은 착색처리 시 색상의 편차를 크게하는 원인이 되어 불량률을 높인다. 이러한 요인을 개선하기 위해 CTSA의 처리조건을 최적화 하였다. Al5052 합금을 이용하여 에칭, 디스머트, CTSA처리를 실시하였다. $55^{\circ}C$ 100g/L NaOH 용액에서 에칭을, $25^{\circ}C$ 10 vol.% $HNO_3$ 용액에서 디스머트를 실시한 다음, CTSA의 조건을 다르게 하고 SEM을 통해 Si 석출물의 감소율을 비교하였다. CTSA조건으로는 시간(60s, 180s, 300s), 농도(10%, 20%, 30%, 40%) 및 온도($25^{\circ}C$, $40^{\circ}C$, $50^{\circ}C$, $60^{\circ}C$)를 변화시켰으며, CTSA 처리 전과 후의 시편의 위치를 동일하게 하여 비교하였다. 결과 적정 시간, 농도, 온도 조건하에 pore를 불균일하게 하는 Si 석출물들이 제거되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. CTSA 처리는 온도가 높을수록, 시간이 길수록, 농도가 적당히 진할수록 석출물이 잘 제거되는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 CTSA처리가 알루미늄의 내식성에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해서 침적시험에 의한 무게감소율 및 전기화학측정을 실시하였다.

A Study on the Safety Evaluation Technique of Sluice Culvert (하천제방 배수통문 정밀 안전진단기법 연구)

  • After choosing twenty sluice culverts located at national rivers by detailed appearance evaluation, hydraulic response test and acoustic televiewer in addition to surface geophysical explorations were carried out to investigate the cavities which exist at the boundary of sluice culvert and ground. Tapping, GPR, 3-D resistivity surveys and acoustic televiewer imagery obtained successful results in limited conditions according to characteristics of the sites. On the other hand, hydraulic response test successfully detected cavity existing at the lower part of sluice culvert and its continuity. However, hydraulic response test can not supply the quantitative informations on the scale and the shape of cavity. Thus it is very important for accurate investigation to make comprehensive interpretation after supplying various surveys proper to site characteristics.

경사 코팅법으로 제조된 TiN 다층 박막의 특성

  • 전이금속(transition metal) 질화물(nitride)은 높은 경도, 내마모성, 부식 저항성 그리고 내열성 등과 같은 우수한 기계적 물성 때문에 많은 연구가 되어 왔다. 이 중 질화 티타늄은 높은 경도, 내식 및 내마모의 우수한 기계적 특성으로 공구(tool)와 같은 제품의 수명 향상을 위한 표면 코팅소재로 사용되어 왔으며, 금(gold)색의 미려한 색상을 이용한 제품의 외관 표면처리와 인체에 무해한 특성을 활용한 정형외과 및 치과용 보형물의 수명 및 안정성 향상 등 다양한 분야에 응용 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 아크방전을 이용한 경사 코팅법으로 질화 티타늄을 합성하였으며, 경사 코팅에 따른 단층 및 다층 박막(2~3 layer)의 미세조직 변화와 그 물성을 평가하였다. 아크 소스에 장착된 타겟은 120 $mm{\Phi}$, 99.5%의 Ti 타겟을 사용하였고, 시편과 타겟 간의 거리는 약 30 cm이며, 시편은 냉연강판과 SUS를 사용하였다. 시편을 진공용기에 장착하고 ~10-6 Torr까지 진공배기를 실시하고, Ar 가스를 진공용기 내로 공급하여 ~10-4 Torr에서 시편에 bias (Pulse : 400 V)를 인가한 후 아크를 발생시켜 약 5분간 청정을 실시하였다. 플라즈마 청정이 끝나면 시편에 인가된 bias를 차단하고 코팅하였다. 경사 코팅을 위한 시편의 회전각은 45$^{\circ}$, -45$^{\circ}$이며, 질화 티타늄의 두께는 약 3 ${\mu}m$로 동일하게 코팅 하였다. 45$^{\circ}$ 단일층의 경우 0$^{\circ}$ 단일층보다 경도가 감소하나 zigzag 구조의 다층으로 갈수록 45$^{\circ}$ 단일층과 비교하여 확연히 경도가 증가함을 볼 수 있었다. 다층 질화 티타늄의 경사 코팅을 통해 박막의 미세조직 변화를 SEM 이미지를 통해 확인하였으며 증착 방식에 따라 경도, 조도, 반사도 등의 물성 변화가 나타났다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 이용하여 다양한 형태의 박막구조 제어를 통한 물성변화가 가능할 것으로 예상된다.

Appearance Contamination of EPDM Article from Water Solution (EPDM 소재의 수용액으로부터의 외관 오염)

  • An EPDM article was aged in air, distilled water, tap water, NaCl/$CaCl_2$ solution, and $CaCl_2/FeCl_3$ solution for 7 days. The aging temperature was $90^{\circ}C$. The samples aged in air and distilled water did not appear the whitening, those aged in tap water, NaCl/$CaCl_2$ solution, and $CaCl_2/FeCl_3$ solution showed the whitening. Soluble organic materials were analyzed using GC/MS to identify the whitening materials, surface morphology of the aged sample surface was examined using image analyzer and SEM, and elemental analysis of the materials accumulated on the sample surface was performed using EDX. Principal reason to cause whitening might be formation of metal salt of fatty acid by reaction between metal cation and fatty acid.
