The concept of customer satisfaction is very important issue in the service firms. All service firms should delight theirs customers? Which service contexts creating customer delight results in better positive performance? This study is to examine the moderating effect of service type on the customer delight-behavioral intention relationship. Data from consumers across two distinct service contexts (retail banks and upscale restaurants) were obtained. Using the multiple moderating regression analysis, the proposed hypotheses in this study were tested. The results reveal that customer delight had a greater positive impact on both revisit and referral intention in the hedonic service than the utilitarian service. This study suggests specific service contexts where customer delight strategies generate better desirable results. The customer delight strategy is able to be applied in both hedonic and utilitarian services, but it is more effective to lead customer loyalty in the hedonic service than utilitarian services. Service firms need a strategic approach to customer satisfaction strategies. This study provide strategic implications for service firms to efficiently manage and allocate resources, and can help them in making decisions about establishing and implementing customer satisfaction strategies.
This study is analyzed the environmental ecological status of Suncheon Bay and its applicable possibility to the selection criteria of UNESCO World Natural Heritage (hereafter Criteria). The study shows that the formation process of the tidal-flats in Suncheon bay could apply to the Criteria VIII, "to be outstanding examples representing major stages of earth's history." The landscape pattern of Suncheon Bay is deduced various patterns based on 5 biotope types: tidal-flat, rice-paddy, field area, coniferous natural forest, and broadleaf natural forest. Its landscape characteristic is a harmonized composition of various landscape including mountains, rivers, fields, and tidal-flats. It is judged that the unique landscape of Suncheon Bay falls under the criteria VII, "areas of exceptional natural beauty and aesthetic importance." In addition, Suncheon Bay, the habitat of the Hooded Crane as internationally endangered species, comes under the criteria X, "the most important and significant natural habitats for in-situ conservation of threatened species." The study shows, however, that any other designation for protected area including national park or biosphere reserve is a prerequisite for designation of World Nature Heritage. In particular, it could evaluate whether it is qualified of the Criteria after the integrated conservation and management to the Sucheon bay as well as the southwestern tidal-flat is preceded.

Volcanostratigraphy in Ulleung Island is divided into 4 stratigraphic groups: Dodong Basaltic Rocks, Ulleung Group, Seonginbong Group and NariGroup. The main pyroclastics in them includes lapilli tuff intercalated within the Dodong Basaltic Rocks, lapilli tuff at the top of Sadong Breccia, Sataegam Tuff, Gombawi Welded Tuff, Bongrae Scoria Deposits, Maljandeung Tuff, Nari Scoria Deposits and Jugam Scoria Deposits. Analysing eruption types, The lapilli tuff in the Dodong Basaltic Rocks is derived from Surtseyan eruption, and the Bongrae, Nari and Jugam Scoria Deposits are caused by Strombolian eruptions or/and sub-Plinion eruptions, but the Sataegam Tuff and Maljandeung Tuff are derived from Plinian and phreatoplinian eruptions. Among them the large-scaled eruptions. In particular, the eruptions of Maljandeung were large enough to result in caldera collapse, and had falled out tephras to the eastern Korean peninsula but even Japan Islands. The magma with high potential to be still alive is judged to be trachyandesitic and phonolitic in composition. If the trachyandesitic magma explodes, it will probably result in a strombolian eruption and have a fairly low explosivity, but if the phonolitic magma explodes, it will probably result in a plinian eruption and have a much higher explosivity. If the eruption had a high explosivity, there is a possibility that it could easily be converted into a phreatoplinian eruption due to the influx of groundwater by the easy generation of fractures. These large-scaled eruptions could fall out tephras to the eastern Korean peninsula but even Japan Islands.
How does authenticity influence the process that conducts a company's CSR Strategy? Authenticity, an internal/external alignment condition that an employee feels in relation to an organization, means the decision on how true and beneficial to employees through their experiences, such as thoughts and emotions. Also, it can be understood as a process of meaning formation between the organization's strategy to conduct CSR and the perception of employees conducting CSR. To prove the relation between authenticity and CSR clearly, we used various techniques like Text Mining, Topic Modeling and Semantic network analysis about O corporation's 657 review data, from 2015 to 2021. As a result of the analysis, we find out the special issues and types. The analysis shows that the issue concerning the 'external image' is the biggest characteristic of authenticity perception in other conditions. Furthermore, the types of authenticity perception evaluations are largely divided into acceptance and rejection, in detail, five categories. This study indicates that organizations should consider both external and internal conditions when establishing CSR strategies. In addition, it is necessary to be an interactive circular relationship between the organization and employee, collecting and reflecting employee's perceptions. Finally, this study proposes ways to overcome problems related to interaction.
Sea ice currently covers approximately 7% of the world's ocean area, primarily concentrated in polar and high-altitude regions, subject to seasonal and annual variations. It is very important to analyze the area and type classification of sea ice through time series monitoring because sea ice is formed in various types on a large spatial scale, and oil and gas exploration and other marine activities are rapidly increasing. Currently, research on the type and area of sea ice is being conducted based on high-resolution satellite images and field measurement data, but there is a limit to sea ice monitoring by acquiring field measurement data. High-resolution optical satellite images can visually detect and identify types of sea ice in a wide range and can compensate for gaps in sea ice monitoring using Geostationary Ocean Color Imager-II (GOCI-II), an ocean satellite with short time resolution. This study tried to find out the possibility of utilizing sea ice monitoring by training a rule-based machine learning model based on learning data produced using high-resolution optical satellite images and performing detection on GOCI-II images. Learning materials were extracted from Liaodong Bay in the Bohai Sea from 2021 to 2022, and a Random Forest (RF) model using GOCI-II was constructed to compare qualitative and quantitative with sea ice areas obtained from existing normalized difference snow index (NDSI) based and high-resolution satellite images. Unlike NDSI index-based results, which underestimated the sea ice area, this study detected relatively detailed sea ice areas and confirmed that sea ice can be classified by type, enabling sea ice monitoring. If the accuracy of the detection model is improved through the construction of continuous learning materials and influencing factors on sea ice formation in the future, it is expected that it can be used in the field of sea ice monitoring in high-altitude ocean areas.
A lot of colleges have made continued efforts to help freshmen adapt themselves to a new school life and environment and build a decent relationship with faculty and other students. Therefore, this study attempted to figure out the effectiveness of team teaching(team teaching by academic advisor, standard textbook-centered guidance vs. autonomous mentoring) on strategic cultural curriculum as a way to help freshmen adapt themselves to a school life. For research subjects, 31 enrolled freshmen and 5 professors from a college in Chungbuk were selected. In terms of research tools, 'Communication Competence Assessment Sheet' provided by Strategic Cultural Curriculum Development Team and a simple questionnaire on 'curriculum satisfaction, adaptation to school and intimacy' were applied. For data analysis, paired t-test, independent samples t-test and rating scale were conducted. The study results found the followings: First, according to analysis on the effects of two different types of team teaching on the goal of strategic cultural curriculum('improvement of communication competence'), significant effects were found in a standard curriculum(textbook)-centered team. Second, when adaptation to a school life(school adaptation, intimacy) perceived by the students who completed the strategic cultural curriculum according to two different types of team teaching curriculum was analyzed, significant changes were found at standard textbook-centered guidance team. Third, this study has examined other changes, satisfaction, opinions and perception(strength, weakness, opinions for improvement) on the curriculum perceived by the students(learners) and faculty regarding about team teaching curriculum. Based on these results, educational implications of this study were reviewed. And a suggestion and limits were presented.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of science writing activities on high school students' scientific thinking ability in Life Science I class. In order to do this, 6 teaching-learning materials dealing with science writing and an evaluation tool for scientific thinking ability were developed. And the subjects were 224 high school students of 6 classes. As a result of applying science writing activities in Life Science I class, the students' scientific thinking ability was improved. And students' inductive/deductive/critical/creative thinking ability was improved. In addition, in the most of the evaluation criteria of scientific thinking ability, the scores of posttest were higher than those of pretest. The number of students to show higher performance levels was increased. Therefore, science writing activities have positive effect on high school students' scientific thinking ability. This study provides some implications for teaching science writing activities to develop students' scientific thinking ability.
Considering the increase in health insurance benefits and the elderly population of the baby boomer generation, the amount consumed by health care in 2020 is expected to account for 20% of US GDP. As the healthcare industry develops, competition among the medical services of hospitals intensifies, and the need of hospitals to manage the quality of medical services increases. In addition, interest in online reviews of hospitals has increased as online reviews have become a tool to predict hospital quality. Consumers tend to refer to online reviews even when choosing healthcare service providers and after evaluating service quality online. This study aims to analyze the effect of sentiment score of healthcare service quality on hospital rating with Yelp hospital reviews. This study classifies large amount of text data collected online primarily into five service quality measurement indexes of SERVQUAL theory. The sentiment scores of reviews are then derived by SERVQUAL dimensions, and an econometric analysis is conducted to determine the sentiment score effects of the five service quality dimensions on hospital reviews. Results shed light on the means of managing online hospital reputation to benefit managers in the healthcare and medical industry.
For many rears, traffic accident statistics are the most direct measure of safety for a signalized intersection. However it takes more than 2 or 3 yearn to collect certain accident data for adequate sample sizes. And the accident data itself is unreliable because of the difference between accident data recorded and accident that is actually occurred. Therefore, it is rather difficult to evaluate safety for a intersection by using accident data. For these reasons, traffic conflict technique(TCT) was developed as a buick and accurate counter-measure of safety for a intersection. However, the collected conflict data is not always reliable because there is absence of clear criteria for conflict. This study developed objective and accurate conflict criteria, which is shown below based on traffic engineering theory. Frist, the rear-end conflict is regarded, when the following vehicle takes evasive maneuver against the first vehicle within a certain distance, according to car-following theory. Second, lane-change conflict is regarded when the following vehicle takes evasive maneuver against first vehicle which is changing its lane within the minimum stopping distance of the following vehicle. Third, cross and opposing-left turn conflicts are regarded when the vehicle which receives green sign takes evasive maneuver against the vehicle which lost its right-of-way crossing a intersection. As a result of correlation analysis between conflict and accident, it is verified that the suggested conflict criteria in this study ave applicable. And it is proven that estimating safety evaluation for a intersection with conflict data is possible, according to the regression analysis preformed between accident and conflict, EPDO accident and conflict. Adopting the conflict criteria suggested in this study would be both quick and accurate method for diagnosing safety and operational deficiencies and for evaluation improvements at intersections. Further research is required to refine the suggested conflict criteria to extend its application. In addition, it is necessary to develope other types of conflict criteria, not included in this study, in later study.
In this study, the method for processing glue and glue-alum sizing from the dancheong ground treatment was evaluated with respect to weather resistance, and its effect on the conservation of dancheong was analyzed. Viscosity and pH of the glue and glue-alum specimen were measured and classified into three categories(none layer, glue layer, and glue-alum layer), which were further classified according to low concentration(four times for 2%) and high concentration(once for 10%). The base layer formation was subsequently classified into three categories based on pigment adoption, namely, Noerok(celadonite), Seokganju(terra rossa), and Jangdan(red lead). The completed specimen was subjected to a changing-environment experiment for evaluating weather resistance and observing the surface. Color variations were analyzed before and after the experiment. The results indicate that glue-alum sizing comprising 5% alum or 7% alum has strong acidity that can affect the life of dancheong, and the high level of 7% alum makes it difficult to create a solid coating layer. After ultraviolet irradiation, the specimen with 7% alum changes its color to yellow. Furthermore, after moisture absorption and drying, cracks can be observed on the entire specimen surface that corroborate the physical change. Additionally, gas-based corrosion causes marginal surface changes. Hence, the formation of a stable coating layer can be achieved by incorporating a low concentration glue solution that is almost neutral, and the application of glue-alum sizing having 2% concentration can aid in the conservation of dancheong.
