  • 본 논문은 한국전자통신연구원에서 개발된 나노큐플러스 운영체제기반의 센서네트워크에서 각 노드의 응용모듈에 대한 버전을 관리하기 위한 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법을 응용모듈의 버전을 관리하기 위하여 고유식별번호를 각 노드의 헤더파일에 저장한다. 관리자 또는 개발자가 헤더파일에 저장되어 있는 각 노드의 고유한 식별번호를 사용하여 별도의 저장소에 저장되어 있는 노드의 형상정보를 한눈에 알아볼 수 있는 버전관리 기법을 제시하였다. 제안한 버전관리 기법을 나노큐플러스 운영체제기반의 센서네트워크 응용모듈에 적용하면 개발자 입장에서 각각의 응용모듈 변경에 대한 버전관리가 용이해지고, 형상항목인 소스코드간의 연관관계 및 변경된 소스코드의 버전에 대한 가시성을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • 자동 표정인식 및 합성 기술과 내적상태별 얼굴표정 프로토타입 작성의 기초 작업으로서 특정 내적상태를 표현하는 얼굴표정의 특징적 구조를 분석하였다. 내적상태의 평정 절차를 거쳐 열 다섯 가지의 내적상태로 명명된 배우 여섯 명에 대한 영상자료 90장을 사용하여 각 표정의 특징적 구조를 발견하고자 하였다. 서로 다른 얼굴들의 표준화 작업과 서로 다른 표정들의 직접 비교 작업에 정확성을 기하기 위하여 각 표정 표본들을 한국인 표준형상모형에 정합하였다. 정합 결과로 얻어진 각 얼굴표정의 특징점에 대해 모형이 규정하고 있는 좌표값들만으로는 표정해석이 불가능하며 중립얼굴로부터의 변화값이 표정해석에 유효하다는 결론을 얻었다. 표정의 특징적 구조는 그 표정이 표현하는 내적상태가 무엇인가에 따라 발견되지 않는 경우도 있었으며 내적상태가 기본정서에 가까울수록 비교적 일관된 형태를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 내적상태별 특징적 표정을 결정할 수 있는 경우에 표정의 구조는 얼굴표정 요소들 중 일부에 의해서 특징지어짐을 확인하였다.

A Study on the Stress Analysis and Parameters of Bucking in Spherical Shell (반 구형 각의 좌굴현상에 대한 응력해석 및 영향인자에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, stress distribution were given in consideration of bending effects in hemi-spherical shell and a modified equation of buckling load was represented with implicating the effects of plastic deformations and shape parameters. Especially, the distributions of shell near it's vertex were analyzed numerically, according to several cases of loading. For the sake of more good estimation of plastic dissipating energy, we used the yield-line method from plate theory. The modified criterion of bucking, P super(*) sub(cr), that was suggested in this study, was applied to SUS 302 stain-less steel hemi-spherical shell which had it's Poisson's ratio and Young's modulus with 0.33 and 19700 kg/mm$^2$. From some experiments and comparisons with other results, 재 suggested the critical buckling-load-equation with P super(*) sub(cr)=2E super(*).(t super(2)/a super(2)).{3(1-ν super(*2)} and computed the buckling initiation load with this equation. Because these result from modified criterion have more coincidence than previous one, we prospect this equation can be magnified it's utilities to the other materials.

Minimization of the Bending Deflection of the Human-powered Aircraft Wing Induced by Change of an Incidence Angle (인간동력항공기의 붙임각 변화에 따른 날개 끝단 굽힘변위 최소화 연구)

  • Human-powered aircraft has wings with a shape of high aspect ratio which results in large bending displacement. This paper aims to improve the structural limitation by changing an incidence angle of the wings. The tendency change of bending displacement at the wing tip is observed assuming that airfoil and cross-sectional shape of the wing is fixed, and amount of the total lift generated is satisfied. Quasi-steady lift, drag and the aerodynamic moment are distributed with regard to sections of the wing. Those are analyzed using a numerical nonlinear lifting-line method and 'geometrically exact beam' (GEB) program in EDISON. 'Variational Asymptotic Beam Sectional Analysis' (VABS) program is used to check if the present wing is structurally solid. Furthermore, the predicted tip deflections are verified by comparing with DYMORE.

  • The buckling behavior of a fiber reinforced plastic pipe was researched. When a cylindrical structure is made of isotropic material, it shows two dimensional buckled shape which has same deformed section along the longitudinal direction. But an anisotropic cylindrical structure shows three dimensional buckled shape which has different deformed section along the longitudinal direction. Because the modulus of elasticity is varied in a certain direction when ply angles are changed, the strength of a pipe are changed as ply angles are changed. In this study, the limitation of two dimensional and three dimensional buckling mode was investigated and the buckling strength of a laminated composite pipe was evaluated.

  • 형상기억합금이 삽입된 복합체는 힌지나 추가적 작동기 없이 그 자체로서 지능 구조의 역할을 할 수 있어 많은 분야에서 활발히 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 형상기억합금(Shape Memory Alloy) 선이 삽입된 $\cap$자형 복합재를 제안하고, 형상기억합금과 모재가 정해진 경우의 곡률 변화에 영향을 주는 주요 설계 변수를 복합재의 너비, 두께, 형상기억합금의 편심률을 설계변수로 가정하고 유한요소 해석과 패널 제작 및 실험을 통해 검증한다. 먼저 라고다스(Lagoudas)모델을 형상기억합금의 구성방정식으로 이용한 유한요소해석모델을 구성하여 수치해석을 수행하고, 11 종류의 형상기억합금 선이 삽입된 유리섬유강화복합재(Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) 패널을 제작하여 열하중에 따른 곡률변화를 관찰한다. 해석결과와 실험결과의 비교를 통해 해석모델의 타당성을 검증하며, 해석을 통해 각 설계 변수들의 곡률변화에 대한 영향을 파악한다.

  • This study numerically examined the mixing characteristics of rectangular cavity flows by using the hybrid lattice Boltzmann method (HLBM) applied to the finite difference method (FDM). Multi-relaxation time was used along with a passive scalar method which assumes that two substances have the same mass and that there is no interaction. First, we studied numerical results such as the stream function, position of vortices, and velocity profile for a square cavity and rectangular cavity with an aspect ratio of 2. The data were compared with previous numerical results that have been proven to be reliable. We also studied the mixing characteristics of a rectangular cavity flow such as the concentration profile and average Sherwood number at various Pe numbers and aspect ratios.

Investigation of Combustion Characteristics of Hybrid Rocket with Tapered Grain Port (경사진 그레인 포트를 가진 하이브리드 로켓의 연소 특성)

  • In this paper, the combustion characteristics of hybrid rocket fuel with tapered grain port were investigated experimentally. The charging efficiency of convergent and divergent port shape fuel with $1^{\circ}$ taper angle was 6.8% higher than that of cylindrical port shape fuel. The regression rate was increased about 17.5% by using the convergent port shape fuel. On the other hand, in case of divergent port shape fuel, no notable difference of regression rate was observed when compared to that of the cylindrical port shape fuel. In the case of convergent port shape fuel, characteristic velocity and its efficiency were notably increased with respect to cylindrical port fuel. It was found that convergent port shape of hybrid rocket fuel can lead to a better option compared to the conventional cylindrical port in terms of combustion efficiency and performance improvement.

  • Bone age assessment has been widely used in pediatrics to identify endocrine problems of children. Since the number of trained doctors is far less than the demands, there has been numerous requests for automatic estimation of bone age. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an automatic bone age assessment method that utilizes pattern classification techniques. The proposed method consists of three modules; a finger segmentation module, a normalized shape model generation module and a bone age estimation module. The finger segmentation module segments fingers and epiphyseal regions by means of various image processing algorithms. The shape model abstraction module employ ASM to improves the accuracy of feature extraction for bone age estimation. In addition, SVM is used for estimation of bone age. Features for the estimation include the length of bone and the ratios of bone length. We evaluated the performance of the proposed method through statistical analysis by comparing the bone age assessment results by clinical experts and the proposed automatic method. Through the experimental results, the mean error of the assessment was 0.679 year, which was better than the average error acceptable in clinical practice.

A Study on the Effectiveness of Bulbous Bow Streamline to the Ship Resistance for Large Full Form Ship (비대선에서 구상선수 주위 유선의 방향이 선박 저항에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents the results of a comparative analysis of the model test results to investigate the effect of bulbous bow installed on a large full form ship to the ship resistance performance. Seven parameters related to the shape of bulbous bow were selected and varied systematically to inquire their effects experimentally. A total number of twenty-three ship models with different bulbous bow were manufactured, and resistance tests. flow visualization test, and wave profile measurement were carried out for each model. For the comparative analysis between the various bulb forms and their model test results, bulbous bow forms are classified into nine groups according to their form characteristics. From the analysis of the trend of the resistance components, it was verified that form resistance has dominant effect on the total resistance of a slow full form ship. The model test and its statistical analysis showed that the direction of streamlines around bulbous bow has close relationship with resistance components. especially with form resistance
