Analysis of Human Resources Practices and Career Path Movement In the Field of Convergence Technologies (과학기술분야 융합기술 인력현황 및 이동 행태분석)

  • The technological convergence of IT, BT and NT is expected to drive technological revolution in the twenty first century, so a large amount of R&D expenditure is being concentrated on the development of fusion technology worldwide. Researches on how to direct and manage fusion technology development, however, are rare up to the present. This study investigates technology development and S&T human resources practices in the fusion technology are a focusing on the career path movement of researchers. On the basis of case study and a field survey of 209 scientists and engineers from academia, research institutes and industry, four strategic directions are recommended for improving human resources development in convergence technologies. The limitations and contributions of the study are also discussed.

  • This study is focused on analyzing the tourism social media channel importance of Trytoursumer. On the basis of previous studies, the factors were divided into tourism communication, tourism cooperation, tourism contents sharing, tourism entertainment. As a result of the empirical analysis using AHP, Analytic Hierarchy Process, tourism communication relatively appeared as the most important factor. And order showed that the high importance of such tourism content sharing, tourism entertainment, tourism cooperation. Also, there was the highest priority of social networking in the area of tourism communication among 14 types of total evaluation factors regarding priority, followed by social news in the area of tourism cooperation, and micro-blog in the area of tourism communication. Analysis result, may contribute to the increase of social media channels effectiveness and strategy of application in social media channel of Trytoursumer.

  • For the purpose of enhancing performances, many companies have tried to ensure the competitive advantages in ties with organization's strategy by putting effort in designing, developing and practicing the information system. Despite the information oriented small and medium enterprises (SME) being suffered from lack of funds, professional man-power and poor environment, fairly evaluating the level of information system within an organization can be a positive starting point for information oriented SME. Therefore in this study, for the purpose of using the SERVQUAL as a measurement tool provided by information system department under the environment of using information system, we try to free from the marketing oriented service category and develop models that are applicable in the information system environment to check reliability and validity. As a result, it is analyzed that enhancements of SERVQUAL simultaneously improves system and information quality which makes the employees satisfy with their working environments and sequentially affects to the collaborative performance of using information system.

Mediation Effects of Learning Attitude in the Influence of Self-directed Learning Ability and Collaborative Skill to Education Satisfaction in SW Education: Middle and High School Students in A City

  • This study aims to investigate the effect of self-directed learning ability and cooperative ability on educational satisfaction through learning attitude in SW education for middle and high school students. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on middle and high school students residing in A metropolitan city, and the responses of 321 students were analyzed. The main research results are as follows. First, male students' self-directed learning ability and learning attitude were statistically significantly higher than female students. High school students were statistically significantly higher in all variables than middle school students. Second, learning attitude was found to partially mediate the effect of self-directed learning ability on educational satisfaction. Third, learning attitude partially mediated the effect of cooperative ability on educational satisfaction. The results of this study suggest that to increase satisfaction with SW education, SW education strategies must be differentiated according to gender and school level, and instructional design that can promote the above three variables is required.

  • HRD professionals should be able to contribute to performance improvement by focusing on strategic business partner activities such as planning, organizational development, and organizational design. Taking a systems view is important in the development of strategy because simply offering specific interventions neither changes nor improves the fundamental systems of an organization. In order to guide the management of organizations as systems, HRD professionals need to not only deal with resistance to change in solution implementation but also identify quantifiable measures to judge the effectiveness of implemented solutions with partnerships with relevant stakeholders. HRD professionals are particularly required to play a critical role in aligning process goals, process design, and process management to improve performance. Adjusting human performance policies and practices to local cultural differences is also among the urgent tasks for HRD professionals.

  • Infrastructure asset management can be defined as the long term and cost effective management strategy to meet the required service level. In most developed countries, the major motivations of the introduction of asset management are increment in number of assets, extension of maintenance field, accounting approaches of public facilities, performance-based FM(Facility Management), limitations of public funds and public-private partnership, life cycle cost approach, and the development of information technology. This paper discusses the strategic and stepwise methods of introducing infrastructure asset management. Strategic approaches are suggested to develop the practical methods of condition and value assessment of assets, and long-term capital investment plan for optimized decision making(ODM). Required systematic processes are analyzed in terms of resource and technical limitations and detailed implementation plan for each development phases are suggested.

  • This research dwells on categorization and industrialization of cultural heritage resources using marketing. Since many organization would not grab the chance of business while doing marketing using cultural heritage, the paper intend to suggest proper way to develop strategy. For that purpose, this research analyzed some advanced cases of corporate like Google and other national endeavors. This paper founded out 4 models of marketing using cultural heritage resources. These are re-creation, patron, capitalization and media. Also we got practical implications of the case analysis and modeling which are collaboration partnership scheme between marketers and filed expert group. Marketers better find fitful information and right person utilizing more reliable sources such as national archives, and academic achievements. If the marketers implement such strategic program, really abundant types of cultural heritage resources using marketing could bring more favorable profit which means business chance and new horizon for global culture industry.

  • Recently, Global Shale gas development has expanded, increasing shale gas production has transformed the energy market.As a result of the reduction of energy facilities, in order to overcome the management deterioration of domestic casting valve industry and enter the enlarged shale gas plant, tried to confirm the SWOT factor through the second questionnaire based on the questionnaire survey of related industry experts and previous studies. As a strength-strategy, presented three factors besides collaboration with domestic companies, suggested four factors including product development specialized in shale gas plant as a weakness complement.   • This study tried to analyze the factors of corporate growth potential of CJ E&M, a representative company in the content industry. First, in order to analyze CJ E&M's growth Engine, Michael Porter's diamond model was used to review key factors, and then, based on the 4P model, directions for future corporate growth were suggested. As a Result, Factors behind corporate growth included "Media content of various genres" and "recruitment of star-class human resources", in terms of Production Conditions, and "Gratification Chinese market demand" in terms of Demand Conditions. In addition, "Korean wave industry aiming at K-Culture" in terms of Related Industry and "Two track strategy: global·glocal strategy" and "Media commerce strategy" in terms of business environment: strategy, structure, and competition was able to analyze. For the direction of development, there are "various products through collaboration of affiliated companies" in terms of Product and "TVING Benchmarked Netflix" in terms of Price. In addition, "global expansion through OTT platform TVING" in terms of place and "challenge marketing utilizing the Tiktok platform" in terms of promotion must be carried out.

  • Nowadays PMIS (Project Management Information System) based on web is widely applied to communication, collaboration and community in construction jobsite for various organization such as subcontractors, general contractor, engineering company, supervisors and client. However, individual PMIS in jobsite is prone to be troublesome issue for integration and exchange of information regarding project management in corporate and may result in conflict of data application. The main reason should be lack of information strategy plan such as company master plan for information. This research shows a critical success factor that a big construction company of Korea establishes procedure and method for information strategy plan. In addition, It is to suggest how to be implemented PMIS architecture and execute business process innovation in corporate level. This research expects contribution that many construction companies reduce mistakes to be implemented management information system and to optimize system in corporate level.
