이동 에이전트 시스템의 응용 분야가 점점 넓어지고, 사용자가 좀 더 강력한 에이전트를 요구함에 따라 이동 에이전트의 협력 작업이 필요하게 되었다. 그러나 기존의 에이전트 협력 방법인 주(master)-종(slave) 구조는 빈번한 원격 통신으로 인한 네트워크 오버헤드, 주 에이전트에의 과도한 부하 등의 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 기능 분할(function division)을 통한 에이전트 그룹 협력 모델을 제시한다. 이 모델은 주 에이전트와 종 에이전트의 기능을 나누어 에이전트 프로그램 개발, 관리의 용이, 네트워크 트래픽 감소, 네트워크 병목현상 해결, 네트워크 오버헤드 감소 등의 효과를 가져온다.

The requirements of Computer Supported Cooperative Work supporting efficient cooperative or collaborative works between multi-users have been increasing in distributed environments. The various technical sections such as group communication technology and distributed processing technology should be provided in Cooperative Work. The replicated development of Cooperative Work applications of a number of common requirements increases development costs enormously and duplicated investment parts. Therefore, systematical development environments are required to develop these common requirements and applications efficiently in Cooperative Work applications development. In this study, we propose the hierarchical role-based coordination model that improves the coordination model of legacy mobile agent to be appropriate in Cooperative Work applications, and design the development environment for Cooperative Work applications based on mobile agent. The proposed hierarchical role-based coordination model provides multi-layered group concepts of mobile agent, and enables implementation of efficient coordination policy per group. Additionally, it supports efficient Cooperative Work application development by role assignment per group unit.

In the system integration (SI) industry, improving relationships with outsourcing partners is one of the key challenges faced by SI companies that aim to increase productivity and reduce costs. In the SI industry, over 80% of project development work is performed by these outsourcing partners. Hence, large SI companies focus on fostering high-performing partners through improved cooperation and mutual relations. However, in the SI industry the existing process of managing outsourcing partners is unable to advance to the level of long-term partnerships due to inadequate information sharing and communication in the process of selecting and assessing a potential and existing partner. Based on the theory of partnership, this study identifies the success factors for new strategic partnerships. Further, this study presents a model for assessing partner companies to promote increased productivity and improve the relationship between an SI company and its partner. In addition, this model is used to assess partner relationships for a well-known SI company "A". This study explores the feasibility of a new framework model.

우리 협회는 국립중앙도서관으로부터 위탁받은 '도서관협력망 협력사업 표준모델 개발 연구' 용역사업을 2001년 6월부터 12월까지 6개월간 수행하여 12월 중순 국립중앙도서관에 보고서를 제출하였다. 본 연구결과를 널리 도서관계에 알려 향후 지속적인 협력사업 활성화를 위한 논의에 도움을 주고자 국립중앙도서관의 허락을 받아 이 연구결과의 결론부분을 본지에 재수록한다.

An agent in collaborative e-learning has independent function for learners in any circumstance, status and task by the reasonable and general means for social learning. In order to perform it well, communication among agents requires standardized and regular information technology method. This study suggests data model as a communication tool for various agents. Therefore this study shows various agents types for collaborative learning, designation of rule for data model that enable to communicate among agents and data element of agent communication data model. A multi-agent e-learning system using like this standardized data model should able to exchange the message that is needed for communication among agents who can take charge of their independent tasks. This study should contribute to perform collaborative e-learning successfully by the application of communication data model among agents for social learning.

상업적인 추천 시스템에서 폭넓게 사용되고 있는 사용자 기반의 협력적 여과 방법 (User-Based Collaborative Filtering)은 확장성과 실시간 성능에 관련된 많은 제약을 갖는다. 이와 같은 맹점을 해결하기 위해 제안된 모델 기반의 협력적 여과 방법 (Model-Based Collaborative Filtering)은 추천은 매우 빠르지만, 모델을 구축하는 데 많은 시간이 소요되며, 사용자 기반의 협력적 여과 방법에 비해 추천의 질이 떨어지는 경향이 있다. 또한, 과거에 추천되있던 히스토리를 바탕으로 한 신뢰도 정보를 고려하는 추천 시스템은 추천의 정확도를 향상시키기 위한 다양한 연구 가운데 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 기반의 협력적 여과 방법의 문제점을 개선하고 추천의 정확도를 높이기 위해, 유사한 아이템의 모델을 미리 구축하는 아이템 기반의 협력적 여과 방법 (Item-Based Collaborative Filtering)에 각 아이템의 추천에 대한 신뢰도를 고려하여 보다 효율적인 추천 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 또한, 기존 추천 시스템과의 성능 비교 실험을 통해 제안한 방법의 타당성을 제시한다.
